Straightforward and honest, he was clear of what the expectations were for someone my age. He didn’t make it seem impossible but he was honest about the challenge. He performed the retrieval but his staff performed the IUIs. He answered all our questions in a manner we could understand. The process was very emotional and long it seemed to me. I only saw him 2 or 3 times and mostly saw his staff.

Ask all you want, he was always willing to answer. Don’t be afraid.

I don’t remember all of it. We did Clomid for each of the IUI cycles. For the egg retrieval we did injectables and have many sonograms to evaluate how my follicles were developing and measuring them. Once at the right size we did the retrieval. If I remember correctly we had like 28 follicles but only got 13 eggs.

Including medications, monitoring, labs, retrieval and all the appointments we spend $17,000

We didn’t make it that far sadly.

He is very compassionate and easy to talk to. He did prepare me for the worst during a couple appointments, sometimes I wish he would have been a little bit more straight forward but other than that he was great.

Come prepared with questions and write everything down and he will take the time to explain everything thoroughly

IVF ICSI because of Male factor (obstruction) Antagonist protocol due to low AMH level Took meds for 13 days I was a slow responder. He thinks it the Birth Control I took before May have over surpressed me. So next cycle we would not do BC. Retrieval 9 eggs 8 mature 7 fertilized 5 grew normal Transferred 2 embryos Remainder were not strong enough to freeze Transferred 2 embryos. Resulted in a chemical pregnancy. Also want to note I came down with the flu right after transfer. High fever no GI issues.

Insurance covered partial meds and 50% procedure. I reached lifetime max with meds so no more coverage. Billing was always timely

He was very patient and understanding during my dye test. I was terrified because I had never been in a hospital for any reason. I so appreciated the time he took to explain the procedure and make sure I was ok.

Be patient. Educate yourself and ask as many questions as you need to make yourself feel comfortable.

I did a dye test to evaluate my Fallopian tubes. I took Femara, had an ultrasound to evaluate how it was working. Then tested for ovulation at home. Once I got a positive I had an IUI done the following day. I start my second round tomorrow as the first IUI did not work.

Luckily, we uped our insurance and had HSAs so just have copays at this time but we do not have coverage for IVF so we shall see.

He likes to stick with tried and true protocols but they don't work for everyone. Most protocol changes i suggested were shot down very quickly if he didn't have hard proof they would work. Many times I'd have to beg for something to change. I really felt if I didnt fight for something new we'd still be doing the same treatments

Don't be afraid to advocate for yourself. Your body may not respond like everyone elses.

We started with femara and timed intercourse. Then moved to femara with trigger and timed intercourse. No success. Then we tried femara, trigger and iui. Nothing. Then we did a cycle of gonal-f, trigger and iui. Next we tried lupron microdose, gonal-f, trigger and then iui was cancelled because I ovulated through the lupron. We took a break then tried femara, trigger and iui again. Still no luck. There were issues along the way. I don't feel I was being monitored enough. There were cycles that probably never should have been started but I didnt have bloodwork done so there was nothing to back up the feelings of something's not right

I am very fortunate that everything weve done have been covered by insurance. So, Ive only had to pay co-pays

Dr Sullivan does have good bedside manor, but its not outstanding. I sometimes feel a bit overwhelmed/rushed while talking to him and think of questions later. He does however answer every single question I do have and goes over options with me. I appreciate that he also takes into account my feelings and ideas. He allows me to advocate for myself and listens to my suggestions.

I do not have an infertility diagnosis other than MFI. I occasionally have irregular cycles so Dr Sullivan first put me on Femara to motitor and track my ovulation. We did several rounds of TI and then one IUI with Femara. We moved on to IUI with injectables. Because of my husbands poor semen analysis we decided to move to IVF quickly. I respond well to meds. We did BCP, lupron, follistim and low dose HCG for my IVF protocol. We retrieved 27 eggs, 20 mature, 16 fertilized with ICSI, 12 made it to day 3 and 5 were good quality to freeze on day 5. Due to a spike in my progesterone, my fresh transfer had been canceled and we had to freeze all. We chose to do an elective single embryo transfer due to my age (30) and the good quality of the embryos. FET protocol was BCP, lupron, estrace and PIO. Day of my frozen transfer I was told that the first embryo thawed, did not survive and they had to thaw another for transfer. My FET failed and we now have 3 blasts left. We are trying a semi natural FET with support from Femara and a trigger shot. So far I am not having response to the Femara despite the success in the past. Hoping to do a transfer in the upcoming month if we can get good lining and follicle growth

So far we have spent $5000 on medication, bloodwork, and scans. This includes insurance coverage and a high deductible for all. We spent an additional $6000 out of pocket for an IVF package that includes 2 retrievals within 1 calendar year along with frozen transfers. Also includes ICSI

Dr Sullivan highly recommended eSET due to my age and the grade of my embryos. He was open to discussion on transferring 2 but we agreed to try with 1 especially for our first transfer

I've had nothing but great experiences with Dr. Griffin, I'm always happy to have him overseeing a cycle or appointment for me as I know he will listen, be compassionate and take the time to discuss any options. I'm always asking a lot of questions about different courses of treatment I've read about, and he's honest in his feedback on them and willing to let me try anything that won't hurt. He has a great bedside manner making you feel at ease during what's an incredibly stressful and difficult time.

Don't be afraid to ask questions and be armed with your own information - he will take the time to listen and provide his feedback in a thoughtful way.

Dr. Griffin oversaw an injectable IUI cycle for me, as I was experiencing lining on the thinner side with clomid and femara. Unfortunately the cycle did not result in a pregnancy but he was very open to listening to my questions and providing me with feedback on whether he thought they were good options or not.

Overall the cost is pretty reasonable compared to many other clinics across the country. I would have liked to see them be more helpful in finding the lowest cost alternative for medications sourced locally (I did that myself and provided my feedback to them but not sure this is being shared with anyone else).

Dr. Griffin was open to transfering 2 embryos after I had 2 eSET failures, and I am proceeding with my next FET transfering 2 as well and he is in support of this approach.

I saw dr Dipaola for IVF treatment in 2018. Before I had my initial consultation with her, I did my research on her and I read nothing but good things about her. I was not disappointed from meeting her for the first time up until the very end of treatment I received from her. She was very thorough in explaining everything and if she didn't feel you were a good candidate or had no chance at all, she would not waste her time or anyone's time or money. She genuinely cares about her patients and gets excited when things look very optimistic and feels like there could be a successful outcome. She never gave false hope and is definitely someone I would recommend for others to see!!

If you want quality care from an honest, caring doctor, Krystene Dipaola is the best doctor out there. You will not be disappointed!!

Due to my age, it was more of an aggressive protocol gor my body to produce the most amount of eggs to have the best potential outcome possible.

4,500 for 1 cycle plus expensive meds that were separate that my insurance didn't cover

I fully trust my care with Dr. Griffin- he is kind, compassionate and thoughtful in his care. When I see Dr. Griffin, he makes me feel very comfortable and assures I understand the process and next steps.

Try to be patience, it is a difficult and emotional process.

My cost of care has been significant as it is not covered under insurance. Currently our cost has been $23,000.

My transfer was with Dr. Sullivan and when we came into the office, it was first time hearing the suggestion for transferring one vs. two. I was surprised by the discussion and our need to make such a large decision in just a few minutes. I do wish there was more time to discuss and decide.

Dr. DiPaola worked within the means of my insurance coverage when providing treatment. However, she did make it seem as though a gonal- f treatment would more than likely work but we were unsuccessful

Go in prepared with questions you have because she is very knowledgeable

Clomid- start off slow because we are diagnosed with unexplained infertility Clomid plus IUI - 3 rounds of IUI with clomid. After 4 trials the chances of getting pregnant drop significantly Gonal-F plus IUI - wanted to work within the means of my insurance because IVF is not covered. I was on a very low dose, however I produced too many follicles and needed to skip the IUI Femara plus Gonal- F and IUI - last step before moving onto IVF

My insurance covered all costs prior to IVF. With IVF it will cost $4500 for the procedure, approximately $1500 for ultrasounds and blood work and possibly another $1500 for medication. Typically medication costs about $4500 however I have some stored away as per the advice of Dr. DiPaola

Dr. Sullivan is a very busy doctor. When meeting with him he always presented the facts and statistics. He was personal to a certain extent. We are greatful for our 2 miracles under his care! I felt he along with the team of doctors there worked together to help us through this difficult process.

Always ask as many questions as you think you need to fully understand everything. You are not alone... there are many avenues of support.

Dr. Sullivan begin with oral medication first which after a few rounds we learned was not aggressive enough. We then moved on to to injectables. It took a while for us to figure out the "perfect" way to get my ovaries to respond without over stimulating (which happened once). We did a conversion to IVF with my first child which was successful. Two years later I had success with my 2nd try of an iui!

We were required to pay co-pays for most meds.. ivf was not covered under our insurance so we had to pay out of pocket for that procedure when a last minute conversion from iui had to be done

She is very friendly and compassionate. Although I saw all of the doctors at the clinic for various procedures, she made me feel like I was her only patient at my visits with her. She knew my medical history and took time to address my questions and concerns (even though I had many!)

Ask any questions you have, none are too small or insignificant

We did IVF with PGD since I am a balanced translocation carrier. I had a good AMH, we did an antagonist protocol with gonal-f, lo dose HCG, and cetrotide with ovidrel trigger. Stimmed for 9 days, retrieved 44 eggs, 37 mature, 32 fertilized.

$4500 IVF cycle fee ($4000 for second cycle), $1500 biopsy fee for genetic testing, $1225 transfer fee for FET. Most monitoring (bloodwork, ultrasounds) covered by insurance. Meds about $3000 for 2 cycles (They were able to provide us with about $2000 worth of meds)

We are doing PGD/PGS and are young, so she recommended single embryo transfer.

He is informative and knows what he is doing. He is a little blunt and not exactly warm and fuzzy. We did 2 IUI with Clomid and once with injectables. They were not successful. Next step was IVF but my BMI was more than 40 so I was asked to lose weight before we could proceed. We ended up going to another clinic due to my weight and financial reasons.

Ask as many questions as possible. He is not warm and fuzzy but very well informed and a good doctor.

3 IUI. First two with Clomid and the third with Follistim. Had follicles every time and triggered with ovidrel and confirmed ovulation with ultrasound but unfortunately did not get pregnant.

The IUI's were covered by insurance. Medications did not cost much and the Follistim was donated to me.

He prefers eSET for IVF I think but we never got to IVF.

Dr Sullivan was very compassionate when we weren’t able to get pregnant. I do not feel that he really tried to find an answer for our infertility though. I feel like we had a false sense of hope and he always said the procedures should work.

Advocate for yourself.

3 iui with femara. 3 IUI with femara and ovidrel. 3 IUI with bravelle and ovidrelle. 2 full rounds of IVF with the same protocol- used bravelle. First one we got about 12 eggs, 2 were transferred on day 3, none to freeze, negative beta . Second we got about 17 eggs, 2 were transfered on day 5, 1 to freeze, negative beta for fresh, positive beta for FET- miscarriage at 6 weeks.

$3500 per round of IVF not including monitoring. Exact prices are on their website.

Dr Sullivan allowed us to decide if we wanted one or two embryos transferred.

Dr Sullivan came highly regarded by friends and past patients. I feel as tho I have had to take charge of my treatments by asking for the next steps instead of him suggesting we move onto more aggressive treatments, infertility is a tough struggle and it makes you very sensitive, you want to feel like you're the doctors biggest priority it is not always the case with him although I do feel like he is great at what he does and I have seen his methods working we have yet to achieve a pregnancy after over a year of treatments and are now moving on to Ivf

Go into his office prepared with questions, he talks fast and throws a lot of information at you at once

He is very positive, so if you want someone that will be direct he is not for you. He is very devoted to his patients.
