I thought Dr. Moore was very kind and personable. He took the time to explain options and went through my history thoroughly. He was very knowledgable about fertility treatments and options. I think had I never done fertility treatments before, he would have been a great place to start. The downside to visiting Dr. Moore, for me, was his dismissal of some health conditions that I have as non-issues, as well as not wanting to pursue the treatment course my husband and I were hoping to (gestational carrier). I appreciated his education and option discussing, but because my husband and I have dealt with infertility for six years, we felt pretty confident in what we did and didn't want to pursue. I wish I'd felt more supported in that or had him explain further why he didn't want to pursue that course. Dr. Moore also promised some meetings/visits with a few other doctors and specialists, including at his clinic, and those never occurred. The clinic never reached out to us again after our consultation.

I wish I would have been more assertive in what we wanted to pursue as treatments upfront, at the beginning of the meeting. I would say speak up quickly. He is very kind but took us down a rabbit hole of treatments we weren't interested in pursuing at that time.

We ended up not pursuing any treatments with Dr. Moore.

We really enjoyed having her as a doctor. She was straightforward and clear while still having a good, warm bedside manner. She is a good listener and is very good at answering questions once I ask them. If you don't ask any questions, she will give you the basics of what you need to know.

If you have lots of questions, try writing them down and don't be afraid to ask them all. If you don't have any questions, she will give you the bare basics of what you need to know and move on.

We used Menopur, Gonal-X, later added Fyremadel, and triggered with Leupron and Novarel. Our issue is male factor infertility, so we used ICSI.

$10,500 for egg retrieval with ICSI included as needed, $3,500 per transfer. We received a 10% discount for paying upfront.

She strongly recommended single embryo transfers, stating multiple times that that was the safest type of pregnancy.

Dr. Peregrine is amazing Doctor and person. She not only gives extremely thorough care and explanations to everything but she is a doctor I felt emotionally safe with. She is caring on a level that most doctors are not and she truly is invested in the success of her patients. She is gives you all of the possible/probable outcomes of your care and respects whatever decision you choose to make. She is extremely knowledgeable in her field of practice and makes sure you know everything you need to in order to make informed decisions. I would highly recommend her to anyone needing infertility care.

Know that she is going to give you all the pertinent information to help you make the best decision possible. Do not be overwhelmed by this, ask lots of questions as needed until you know how you would like to move forward with your care.

We had more mature follicles then expected on our IUI cycle as a result of a slightly higher dose of antagonist medications due to a poor response my first IUI. We were able to get pregnant on this IUI with our twins with a 22% chance of twins and a 15% chance of achieving a pregnancy at all with IUI.

I do not remember the cost of our IUI

Dr. Moore is a wonderful doctor with a very gentle bedside manner. He is upbeat yet subtle. He has been a great doctor. My experience with infertility has been nothing like it should as far as what usually happens for people. But he has taken the curve balls in stride and helped me to know I was not alone in feeling frustrated and sad for it not going as planned or as we had hoped. He is a busy doctor, but I do feel that he try's hard to be personal and real about every situation.

I would say to make sure that you ask as many questions as you want to be answered. Dr Moore will answer any questions at all that you may have, but I sometimes felt like I would have to ask first if I wanted to know. I would say bring a written down list of questions to every appointment!

I started medicated cycles with 5mg femara, then moved to 7.5mg femara and then 7.5mg femara and ovidrel. I then moved to 7.5mg femara and 75 IU Gonal f for three days, then 7.5mg femara and 75 IU Gonal f for 6 days and an IUI. All were unfortunately negative and my body did not respond super well. It was a lot of trial and error, but I always felt in good hands with Dr. Moore.

I really love Dr. Moore and how he expresses care, celebrates each positive outcome, compassionately shares negative news and explains things clearly. I appreciate how much time he spends when meeting with us. I trust his experience, knowledge and advice and feel well cared for as his patient.

To keep an open mind. I did not think we would need IVF, I thought it would be more simple. But after testing we were told IVF was our best option. We decided to try two medicated iuis first which failed. We are now trying to save for IVF which will be self pay, no insurance coverage. I trust that Dr. Moore will always be straight forward with us with our odds, whether something is worth trying again, what steps we should take next and what our realistic options are. I feel like he is knowledgeable, pays close attention to details and is good at listening to what we feel comfortable with. He is good at communicating and is compassionate which is important to me. I feel like he is cheering us on!

We chose to do two medicated IUI cycles in hopes to avoid the cost of IVF. The treatment included Letrozole (pills), ovidrel (injectable) and Gonal F shot. We got a good response from my ovaries each time. I had for follicles the first IUI and three the second IUI. I also expressed concern about my progesterone levels because of recurrent miscarriages. I started progesterone vaginal suppositories after the IUI procedure both times and took it until we got negative tests. I preferred to do blood tests and my office was great about listening and addressing any concerns I had.

IUI cost was $400 plus medications. I also did diagnostic testing such as a hysterosalpingogram, genetic testing, blood work, etc. they have been working with my insurance to see if we can get any of these covered. If we pay out-of-pocket I think it will be around $2000. We were quoted $18,000 for IVF which from my understanding would include medication, egg retrieval, genetic testing, and also an extra procedure to retrieve the sperm. But we haven’t finalized anything with that yet.

After my first IUI failed, Dr. Moore called me personally, after hours, to talk about next steps and see how I was doing. He’s very good at adjusting protocols, even in the middle of a cycle if need be. He gives his expert opinion, but ultimately leaves your treatment up to you and how aggressive you’d like to be. He’s so kind and trustworthy and I feel so well taken care of by him and his team. He answers all my questions without making me feel stupid, and he’s personally invested in the success of his patients.

Definitely take a list of questions with you so you don’t forget to ask anything important!

My first monitored cycle with Dr. Moore, he started me on 2.5 mg of femara and while I responded well at first, my follicles did start shrinking. He acted fast and started me on 7.5 mg immediately and I was able to get 2 follicles and used ovidrel to trigger. My first cycle of IUI was also 7.5 mg femara with ovidrel trigger. I got two follicles, but I didn’t get pregnant. My second IUI, he reduced my femara dosage to give my follicles longer to grow, so I took 5 mg and and ovidrel trigger. My third IUI, we did 5 mg and trigger again, but the response wasn’t quite as good. No pregnancy. What was supposed to be my fourth IUI, we did 7.5 mg femara and 75 iu gonal f every other day (three gonal f injections). I only ended up with one follicle, on the side of my blocked tube so he determined it wouldn’t be worth doing an IUI and we just did TI. After that month failed (expectedly), we decided to move on to IVF.

I think it was about $400 per IUI. My IVF cycle with ICSI and FET cost about $11,000. Embryo storage is $40 per month.

His preference is to transfer one embryo at once, for me, he doesn’t want to transfer more than one unless I have multiple failed transfers because I’m high risk for HG.

Dr. Moore was very factual but sensitive. When we went in for an early ultrasound, he found that our pregnancy wasn’t viable. He was very careful in explaining what that meant and what that would mean moving forward. We luckily didn’t need further treatment because we had two cycles where we got pregnant in just femara; however, I knew that if we wanted or needed other treatments we were allowed to discuss these options with him. He also was super accommodating to questions and my anxieties with our second pregnancy.

After a baseline ultrasound, I took 7.5 mg of Femara (Letrozole) on days 3-5 of my cycle. An ultrasound was performed on one cycle to determine if a follicle was maturing. He advised using ovulation test strips to help in timed intercourse but gave a general time frame for when ovulation should occur based on the ultrasound. The first round of femara was unsuccessful because I didn’t actually take the medication on days 3-5. The baseline ultrasound was not completely accurate. The second round of femara was successful in that I was pregnant, but the pregnancy ended in a miscarriage (blighted ovum). The third round of femara has also been successful and I am currently pregnant. To help prevent miscarriage, I take progesterone vaginally each night. I also take baby aspirin daily.

Strengths include deep understanding of the fertility process, ability to explain it simply, and clear treatment plans. Sometimes he would talk quickly or briefly, but would always restate if I didn't understand.

Ask lots of questions. He's willing to help you understand, but you need to let him know that's what you need.

Used letrozole as opposed to clomid. When I showed initial resistance to letrozole, he upped my dosage. For the two cycles I did with him, I had an intra-vaginal ultrasound to see if eggs had been released. I would also have blood tests to confirm ovulation.

Appointments were about $150-$200 after insurance. Ultrasounds were around $200.

I loved Dr Moore & loved working with him. He’s very knowledgeable & trustworthy. If we ever called, emailed, or text he was quick to respond or have the necessary staff member reach out. He was very patient & took our religious beliefs into consideration too.

Ask lots of question. & don’t feel bad reaching out with whatever you need.

We are still working up to this. Should get our plan in the next day or two.

For Dr Moore’s office alone (not genetic testing or meds) just under $15,000 for IVF.

I will be a high risk pregnancy due to a medical condition. So I asked, but we agreed a singe transfer would be best,

He understood that we were on a budget to get pregnant as it’s not covered in Utah. He washed us how far we would be willing to go if needed. When I expressed that I would not do IVF with him because it’s mandated coverage in mass and we are moving back when I finish school. He was totally respectful of that and offered to help us find a doctor there if needed.

Be honest. Nothing hurts your more then not being honest and asking every question you have.

We did 3 tablets of femara, trigger shot and then we added an oral pill to thicken my lining. Sadly that didn’t work.

Around $700-800. They are contracted with my insurance so I haven’t seen the bill yet. Over a month now, I came in to pay in cash and the receptionist told me “let’s see what your insurance will pay before you pay anything.” Which I though was very nice. I was under the impression that we had to pay cash.

Didn’t have the option.

He answered all questions and made sure we understood without moving on, if his explanation didn't make sense he would re-explain in a different way to help it come across. He would be gentle when I cried and made us feel understood.

He is VERY busy so just be patient and try to get in as soon as possible.

We have not started treatments yet because we are waiting on a few more results from testing, but we will either us IVF with my husbands sperm or IUI with a donor.

He is a Great doc. We are very Happy with him. He is Thorough and direct. Kind and intelligent. So grateful to be working with him. He understands my concerns and is working to find a solution for us.

Make a list of any question you might have and don’t be afraid to ask them all.

Treatment for unexplained infertility is tough because you don’t quite know what to tackle. We have been moving forward with treatments in the most cost effective way. Nothing has succeeded so we are on to IVF.

Dr. Moore was very inviting to talk to. He always seemed prepared for our appointments and would address all our concerns. He always made sure we understood our “roadmap” to success. I felt like he took his time in our appointments. I get like he truly cared how we were feeling and was doing his best to help us get the outcome we wanted. Dr.Moore had great bedside manner as awkward as those appointments can be he was always caution and explained all the steps of the procedure so you didn’t have any surprises. Dr. Moore is a very kind, caring doctor that we recommend to anyone of our friends having infertility issues.

Keep your head up. If your treatment doesn’t work the first time, keep trying.

When we first started seeing Dr. Moore my husband had just started taking 50mg of Clomid daily to boost his sperm count. I had previously form another Dr had fibroids and polyps removed. When starting to see Dr. Moore he realized I had been taking progesterone that was prescribed by another doctor on days that could be acting like a birth control. I stopped taking that and we continued to try and get pregnant naturally for 3 months. After no luck we moved onto the next step of IUIs did 3 rounds of IUIs with negative pregnancy test for all 3. He thought for sure an IUI would work but unfortunately it didn’t. So we moved on to IVF, I don’t remember my exact does of medication. We had a very successful egg retrieval and retrieved 36 eggs, 12 turned to embryos. We opted to do genetic testing on those embryos to have a better chance at convincing. Out of the 12 we ended up with 6 viable good heathy eggs. We needed up having to wait a month after the egg retrieval before we could do the transfer due to me having a small complication after the egg retrieval. Dr.Moore and his staff were so great and helpful during that time of complication and stayed late in the office to see me and check the swelling of my left ovary. They checked in on me through the nest few days to make sure I was continuing to get better. After waiting the month and doing the first round of IVF they made sure I understood everything and the steps leaving up to the FET day. The day of the frozen transfer they made me feel so good. The nerves and stress levels are high as your trying to relax and not think to much into all that can go wrong. They had a basket full of lucky transfer socks for me to pick and wear during the transfer. Everything went smooth and found out 2 weeks later we had a successful first round of IVF and we’re pregnant with our sweet baby boy.

Our medications for IVF were around $2500-$3000. Our genetic testing for our embryos was about $5000 and the IVf for 1 round was about $10,500

Yes, Dr. Moore explained the pros and con of single and mutiple embryos transfers to us. He said in our case he strongly recommended doing single embryo transfers until we fail 2-3 rounds of IVF. He said at that point we could consider and weight the pros and cons of a multiple embryo transfer but lucky in our case our single embryo transfer was a success.

Dr. Moore was caring, accommodating, and transparent. He explained every step of the process in detail while also offering support along the way. He truly cared about our journey and worked with us in every way possible.

Go in with an open mind because fertility is complex and things can change quickly!

My wife and I both underwent egg retrievals using stimulation medications. Of those embryos we transferred one to my wife after cervical dilation and a cervical stitch. This ultimately failed as her cervix is partially stenosed. Then we followed up with a transfer to myself which was successful.

I’m happy we went with eSET under his advice as the pregnancy was low risk and we ended up with a healthy baby

Dr. Moore was always very kind and welcoming. He made sure I understood what we were doing and why we were doing it. He went above and beyond to help in situations where things went wrong (one of the tests I needed came back inconclusive and he fought the company to make sure they didn't charge me again for a repeat test, as it is $2000 each time). He was always there to give a call or text if needed on his own time. He was very personable and helped me keep hope, but also was upfront about possible risks, etc.

I think it's easy to get in your head when things aren't working. But trust that he has you and your best interests and goals first.

I believe 10500 for the ivf package which included the first transfer. All transfers after were 3500. This did not include medications or any additional testing such as uterine biopsy, etc. Iui I can't remember
