Attention to Detail

Attention to detail is on a 1 - 10 scale, and is scored based on the rate, and severity, of errors committed by the clinic according to the patients.

For example, a severe error might be failing to inform a patient of critical information, while a small error might be failing to call a patient with results.

CDC Success Rates

This is the most recent data from the CDC. The CDC cautions that it should not be used to compare doctors and clinics. This data represents the outcomes of IVF cycles when using a person's own eggs.

For more information please see our FAQs.

Where you see a “?” on the chart, a clinic has done fewer than 20 cycles in this category and age range, so the CDC says showing percentages from this small data set would be misleading and unreliable.

Dr Lalwani was very generous with her time and care. She was delicate with me but direct. She called often to check in when things didn’t go well. I appreciated her time but wish she was more aggressive. ... Don’t hesitate to push and ask for more aggressive treatments ... Dr Lalwani ... we’re kind, compassionate and caring. I felt heard and listened to, even when the kings were frustrating.
Slow billing cycles [at George Washington University] but attentive office. Mornings feel cattle call-ish but it is personalized care. I can’t imagjne a better way to do it. Ask questions and they’ll explain as much or as little as you want. ... I loved the nurses and and staff at GW. Everyone was kind, remembered me and I felt like they were really pulling for me.

Dr. Frankfurter and his team were warm and friendly. We trusted him and always felt as though we had a great interactions with him. He took a lot of time in our appointments to explain the procedures...We loved everything about the experience. He remembered who I was during treatment and always made me feel comfortable. He was very clear in explaining everything and we had success the first time we transferred our embryos.
Wonderful nurses. Bright and sunny every day...The clinic [GWU] was strong. I’d recommend them to anyone. They were organized and thoughtful. I felt my treatment was in good hands. The nurses who took the blood were also great at their work. The facility was clean and the staff were encouraging and kind...Dr. Frankfurter and his team were warm and friendly...About $20,000 plus the medications.

Dr Frankfurter was the best doctor I encountered on my journey. He took time to thoroughly review my file, answered my questions and seemed interested in my concerns...I appreciated his thoroughness, accessibility and willingness to think outside the box. He seemed to tailor the treatment plan to my patient history and when it didn't work, he thought about why...If you want to meet with him, schedule as soon as possible...

[Dr. Humm is a] wonderful physician who was straightforward and inspired confidence. She's very knowledgeable and extremely good at explaining scenarios and concepts about fertility treatment, gives her honest opinion without raising hopes. Best part is that she's very responsive to all our questions and straightforward and still compassionate without being overly emotional.
