Dr. Berger is positive yet serious. I was interested in the science and sometimes had specific questions - Dr. Berger was patient and took the time to explain. He personally calls/follows up if you have a concern. He is compassionate and it feels like he wants a positive outcome as much as you do!

I had asked about a natural cycle embryo transfer, but Dr. Berger explained that the medicated protocol is still the gold standard. Starting with birth control to give the ovaries a break, we then moved to Lupron to suppress natural hormone production and introduced estrogen and progesterone (IM injections and suppositories) leading up to and following the transfer.

I appreciate his explanations, patience, and efficient process. I personally though would love more information as I went through the process, even if it's bad news. But it's all good, I learned I'll just ask a lot more questions the next time I come back in :)

I was 32, with low follicle count / 1.4 AMH. Prior to treatment, 9 follicles total were observed. I was put on 9 days of 300 gonal f, 2 vials of menopur, 3 days of cetrotide. They ended up retrieving 14 eggs, 10 were mature. I was very pleasantly shocked.

Dr. Berger, I mean what can we say? There isn't a single word that can describe our experience with Dr. Berger. However, we can conclude that we have two healthy beautiful boys. For me, it was like “you name it, I have it all”. Adenomyosis, fibroids, endometriosis and a list of other concerns that made it nearly impossible for me to conceive a baby. Multiple doctors advised us to use a surrogate and that was out of the question. We met Dr. Berger in the middle of a failed IVF attempt from a previous doctor and we had to make a choice to either continue with our previous doctor or switch to Dr. Berger. I am still unsure what made us decide to go with Dr. Berger at the time but it was the RIGHT choice. The journey was a difficult one but all worth it in the end. I went through multiple procedures due to complications with my uterus and Dr. Berger was next to me until the end. We referred close friends of ours to Dr. Berger and immediately our friends saw the difference in care. We are convinced that if Dr. Berger cannot help you conceive, no one can. Stay strong friends! Dr Berger showed he really cared for my husband and I. He sat down and answered all of our questions, he explained the process when we didn’t understand certain parts. He embraced us with a hug after our retrieval. Just made both of us feel like we made the right choice. He was the perfect doctor for us.

Come prepared with questions, guaranteed he will be able to answer in a way you understand. As a nurse I have a background in anatomy and physiology, so when my husband needed more explanation Dr Berger was able to go over the science behind everything.

We began birth control before starting our follicle stimulating medication. Had the egg retrieval about 11 days, which then we used ICSI as we have MFI. 4 made it to blast and sent for PGT, 3 came back normal. Had a uterine polyp removed shortly after. One month later we had a successful FET

Most of the costs were covered by our insurance. We paid out of pocket for PGT we well as Zymot, Mock transfer, and my hysteroscopy. Out of pocket expense around $12K

He stated because of my age the risk of multiples would increase. He suggested only one embryo at a time.

I had an egg freezing procedure done with Dr Berger and his team and everything went great! I had very little knowledge about the whole process and was quite nervous but everyone in the office was very patient and encouraging. I felt comfortable asking all my questions even some of my more embarrassing ones because everyone was so welcoming. I would definitely recommend others to come here for your fertility treatment needs! :]
