Expect the pictures of babies in the rooms [at New Life Women's Health & Infertility of North Texas]! During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Michael Jones at New Life Women's Health & Infertility of North Texas?
Dr Jones is kind in a very matter-of-fact professional way. He was appropriately compassionate during and after my miscarriage.
Describe your experience with the nursing staff.
One of them, forgot her name is a little overconfident. She blew my vein and didn’t seem to know exactly how to draw blood. She may have been new
What specific things went wrong at New Life Women's Health & Infertility of North Texas?
  • Failed to call with results
How was your experience with Michael Jones at New Life Women's Health & Infertility of North Texas?
Dr Jones is one of only 2 NaPro doctors in DFW, he is busy but saw me at each visit unless it was a routine follicle scan with the Sonographer. Until he hired the Sonographer, he would come in on the weekend to do them himself or to do blood draws. Cycle days don’t care about weekends and he doesn’t seem to mind coming in every day. Dr Jones is pro-life and therefore treated my miscarriage with respect and compassion. He is not forthcoming about information, but will give you all of the details of your care if you ask him loads of questions
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Michael Jones at New Life Women's Health & Infertility of North Texas?
Ask questions! He will share if he is asked and doesn’t seem to mind spending the extra time answering questions
Describe the protocols Michael Jones used in your cycles at New Life Women's Health & Infertility of North Texas and their degree of success.
Hcg shots to help a pregnancy stick, this didn’t prevent my miscarriage. Clomid for PCOS, this did work but I voluntarily discontinued due to side effects, and progesterone suppositories for luteal phase defect which seems to be working
Describe the costs associated with your care under Michael Jones at New Life Women's Health & Infertility of North Texas.
I am uninsured, but the cost of visits were somewhere between $100-$200 depending on the procedures done

The clinic [New Life Women's Health and Infertility] is small which I liked. The office staff is friendly and will know you as a person. You will have to have frequent appointments which can be hard if you don’t live close or have a flexible work schedule... My insurance covered a lot of his procedures and appointments due to how he codes for billing... He suggested I have laprascopic surgery to remove a fibroid and check for suspected endometriosis as well as do a wedge resection of my ovaries to “reset” them. I felt he was very gentle and caring during the surgery and after. After healing he would do monthly oral meds (letrozole or clomid) and then follicle scans. It seems each month I either overproduced follicles, had cysts or didn’t get pregnant.

Describe your experience with your nurse at New Life Women's Health & Infertility of North Texas. (Assigned nurse: Norma )
The nurse “Norma” is okay. I didn’t feel like she was compassionate about infertility. She seemed cold at times. She was very professional though.

Describe the protocols Michael Jones used in your cycles at New Life Women's Health & Infertility of North Texas and their degree of success.
Dr. Jones first looks over your history and then he ordered extensive blood work. I gave blood almost every other day of my cycle so he could get a panel and get a true picture of my hormones. After the blood work came back he reviewed the results with me.
