Dr. Hancock is the best doctor I have ever had, hands down. Going through fertility treatments is a process, and it's so important you choose and stick with a doctor that you trust to have your best interests at hand. Dr. Hancock always reassured me when I was feeling negative, and always provided me with evidence-based explanations when needed. She was compassionate, but also to the point. She made it a point to always see me at every appointment. Even when I was told on the off chance she was in a procedure and I may have to see a different doctor, she came running to squeeze me in. I tell my husband all the time that I wish I could be best friends with her. I feel truly lucky to have had such an amazing doctor to go through one of the hardest things I have experienced in life thus far.

RUN, don't walk to Spring Fertility and book an appointment with Dr. Hancock! She is the most down-to earth, compassionate doctor I have seen. She will truly care about you and your fertility goals, and she will do what needs to be done to get things done!

I did 4 IUIs, 1 egg retrieval, and 2 frozen embryo transfers with Dr. Hancock. All my testing came back normal, so I was diagnosed with unexplained infertility. Dr. Hancock explained my treatment options, and due to insurance, I needed to start with IUI before I could move on to IVF. I received my first positive pregnancy test after my first IUI, sadly that ended in a chemical. Dr. Hancock reassured me by saying that while upsetting, this is actually a good thing because it shows my body can get pregnant. I was very optimistic going into my second IUI, however, that one and the next 2 also failed. It was then time to move on to IVF. Going into IVF I was terrified, but what made me feel better was Dr. Hancock's demeanor. She sat down with us for over an hour via zoom, and answered any and all questions that my husband and I had. She was so knowledgeable about the whole process, and left us feeling ready for this next step, now knowing what to expect. My egg retrieval went amazing. We retrieved 21 eggs, 19 mature, 18 fertilized, and 13 made it to blastocysts. With PGTA testing we were left with 12 embryos and were beyond excited. Then came our first transfer, we used a modified natural protocol, one that Dr. Hancock strongly supports; and since my hormones are all normal and I ovulate normally, it was a good option for me. All went smoothly for the first transfer, however the embryo did not stick. Obviously devastated and confused, Dr. Hancock listened to my concerns (unexplained infertility). While ERA testing is not something they usually recommend after 1 failed transfer, she was willing to do it for me if I really wanted. After speaking with my husband, we decided to forgo it, and proceed with our second transfer instead, with the notion that we would do all the testing needed if this transfer failed. Luckily, we did not need to go there, as our second transfer was successful! We are still in the early stages of pregnancy, but we feel very hopeful and we couldn't have done it without Dr. Hancock.

One of the best parts of Spring, was their convenient scheduling. I work in a school, therefore I have very limited flexibility when it comes to appointments. Spring ALWAYS made it work for my schedule, whether it was 7am appointments, or random appointment times during the day, I was never stressed when scheduling. In addition, I never waited more than 5 minutes for an appointment. This took me by surprise when I first started going to spring, as I am used to waiting 10-20 min at minimum at all Dr appointments- not Spring. There are always people in and out, but you will never see the waiting room completely full. This is such an important aspect when seeking out a fertility clinic.

Spring fertility took my insurance. The only outside costs I paid were co-pays ($30), medication co-pays (varied between $2-$50), and ICSI (3K), embryo biopsy (3k), PGT testing ($300 per embryo). These were not covered by my insurance as we did not have male factor infertility or a history of miscarriages.

Dr. Fischer went above and beyond to provide me with excellent care. I am fairly certain she was supposed to be off work on the day of my second egg retrieval, and she came to do the procedure anyway. (I would note that I don't agree with this, and I think she should take her well earned days off, but I did appreciate it very much!) Our relationship started after I read reviews of Spring and Dr. Fischer specifically on FertilityIQ. My husband and I had a first meeting with her where we discussed our history of miscarriage, and where we began talking about IVF. We came to the table ready to start IVF right away - we did not want to begin with other interventions - and she was understanding of that decision. She immediately began strategizing our next steps for and assured us that she would do all she could to help us find success. Fertility is extremely complicated and there are so many nuances; I always felt that she would provide as much information as we wanted to have about what was going on, and that we could always ask questions. Dr. Fischer is clearly a busy doctor, and very beloved by her patients, but I always felt that she was extremely present every time I saw her for an ultrasound or an appointment during this process. I am grateful to her for her dedication and excellent care, and I would refer my friends to her in a heartbeat.

She is a popular doctor, so you should book early! :) In all seriousness, I would say that she will take your care seriously and root for your success. She will be as aggressive as she needs to be to get you to the outcome you want.

I did two rounds of egg retrieval back to back. The first was shorter, requirng about 8 days of medication, and the second required about 14 days of medication. I think I was on a fairly routine dosage schedule, but she pushed harder the second round to get more mature eggs. I did typical Gonal-F and Menopur injections the first 5-6 nights and then the antagonist (Cetrotide) was added to suppress ovulation. During the second round, we went longer and my night time injections were reduced slightly towards the end, but we kept going for longer. In the first round, I produced 15 eggs, 9 of which were mature and fertilized via ICSI, and 5 of those became day 6 embryos. We PGT-A tested, and all 5 were euploid. For the second round, I produced 16 eggs, 11 were mature and fertilized via ICSI, and all 11 made it to day 6; 7 were euploid after PGT-A testing. We were very impressed with these results, and were of course grateful that Dr. Fischer achieved such a good outcome for us.

We had Progyny coverage for the two egg retrievals, so we paid our insurance deductible and the rest (e.g. both retrievals and all associated appointments, as well as medications) was covered. My husband switched jobs after both egg retrievals and we no longer had Progyny, so we paid for our embryo transfer out of pocket (~5K).

Dr. Fischer (and I believe Spring in general) only transfers one embryo at a time as a matter of policy. My understanding is that they do not make exceptions to this. I agree with this approach because of the risks a multiple pregnancy can present for the mother and for the fetuses. I believe they are making this recommendation because the science supports it, and I did not have a problem with this approach.

Doctor Fisher perfectly combines being kind, direct, and positive while maintaining realistic expectations. She is also very lighthearted, which would make you feel comfortable during the long and complex process of IVF.

Just make the initial appointment and let her guide you. If you have any suspicions about fertility issues, even if your primary care doctor disagrees, get evaluated. The earlier you schedule an appointment, the better. The doctor can only do so much, and every year counts.

My first cycle used an antagonist protocol, and I didn't have good results, but when discussing the process results, Doctor Fischer suggested a mid-luteal protocol and growth hormone. I feel optimistic knowing my doctor can offer different options.

They have two insurances and transparent billing practices. Strangely, they cannot store credit cards to collect copays. I had to swipe my card every time I had an appointment. Eventually, someone sent me a link to pay online, and I would just pay before I arrived.

Dr.K was easy to get a hold of and his team was always readily available. He gave us a very detailed consultation BEFORE we even joined Spring, and was very clear and positive when it came down to our decision to go through another round of IVF. I had multiple questions about the treatment strategy and we also had a very important conversation about a potential surgery that we decided not to go with prior to preparing for our embryo transfer. All in all, he felt like someone who actually cared about us!!

Ask as many questions as you need to. Him or his team will be responsive and give you details, information, and solace.

We went a different route than my previous fertility clinic. Dr. K was clear as to why we went this route and why we chose a different strategy for our embryo transfer. I felt comfortable and empowered and our outcomes were better than before, so clearly it was an optimal choice.

I was blown away the amazing treatment I received under Dr. Klatsky's care, and am so thrilled with the results of my egg freezing cycle with him. Dr. Klatsky understood that I have some irregular factors (low ovarian reserve, irregular cycle.) He also knew that I'd gone through a cycle 1 year prior at a different NYC clinic that did not go well. The biggest differentiating factor is that Dr. Klatsky customized my treatment from beginning to end, adjusting my meds throughout the cycle in response to every scan and blood test. His personalized approach made an incredible difference, and resulted exactly Double (!) the number of eggs frozen in a single cycle. He is also an incredibly personable doctor with excellent bedside manner, and I always feel like he is both the captain of my treatment team, and also rooting for me personally.

Don't be afraid to ask questions!

Mid-Luteal start, 12 days of injections (Cetrotide in AM days 6-12; Menopur and Gonal in the evenings Days 1-12.) Trigger shots were lupron (.8) and Novarel 2500. I began with 8-9 antral follicles, 9 were retreived, and 6 were mature/frozen.

$9750 for full cycle, inclusive of all scans, appointments, day of procedure costs. $3800 for meds ( I paid this to the pharmacy, not Spring.

Dr. Yoder is easily one of the best doctors I have had. She is professional yet personal. She is very detail-oriented. She also has a great deal of empathy and knows how to resolve issues and setbacks when they arise

Ask questions; ask and ask

It was well scheduled, and I could go for appointments when I had the time. Appointments were typically available when I needed them

Such a great experience and I would be thrilled to work with her again. I had two rounds previously with another RE that were successful, but didn’t get nearly the numbers that my AFC indicated. Dr Shastri went through all the possible causes with me, developed a treatment plan accordingly, and the one round I’ve done with her so far got me more frozen eggs than both my previous rounds combined!

I don’t think you really need advice, she’s very welcoming of questions and just great to work with

We did Estrace priming instead of the birth control pill leading up to this round to avoid over-suppressing my ovaries, but I also just felt so much better on it - I do not do well on BCPs. We used Gonal-F & Menopur once a day in similar but slightly lower doses than I’d used in the past, and one thing I thought was interesting was we tapered off the amounts as the cycle progressed. (I’m not a doctor but even I could tell from looking at the ultrasound screen that my follicles grew a lot more uniformly in size this time around.) Then Cetrotide and a Lupron + low-dose HCG trigger. And voila!

My experience with Dr. Fischer was excellent. She is a very experienced and talented clinician, who chose a great protocol for me, and was able to grow my cohort of eggs to maturity so cohesively, that every egg was able to be frozen except just one.

Ask lots of questions.

I had an early follicular phase protocol, which started with a combination of Follistim and low dose Pregnyl. There is currently a national shortage of Menopur, so I took a higher dose of Follistim combined with the low dose Pregnyl instead. Around day 7, I started Ganirellix as the antagonist, and then used Pregnyl and Lupron for the trigger shots. After each visit, which consisted of an ultrasound to measure the size of the follicles and bloodwork, I received updated medication instructions tailored to me based on how my follicles were responding to the treatment. The results were excellent, as 94% (all except 1 egg) reach maturity and were able to be frozen. I could see that there is almost an art (and a lot of medical expertise) when it comes to how Dr. Fischer chose to modify the protocol over the course of the 2 weeks, and then chose the right day for the trigger shot.

Dr. Fischer spent considerable time with me when I had a diagnosis that will make having a family harder. She explained everything in detail, and checked on me via email several times after my visit. I appreciate that she is also doing research that could change the fertility game in the future for all of us.

Learn about your fertility numbers early. Advocate for your company/insurance to cover these early tests.

I did the initial assessment but due to cost, I was unable to move forward yet with the egg freezing I medically need due to low AMH and FSH and follicle counts. She said I will likely need 2-3 cycles performed, but cannot without insurance. She has helped write letters and provide information for me to bring to my employer in my fight for coverage.

Dr. Yoder is very friendly and genuinely seems to care about your experience. She takes the time to walk through all the details of the process and what to expect. I was very at ease throughout the process and felt comfortable asking a multitude of questions.

Don't hesitate to ask questions if you think they might be silly

I was surprised to learn that Dr.Klatsky was the co founder of Spring Fertility. He was extremely down to earth, realistic about results, and didn’t “push” unnecessary retrieval’s. He set realistic expectations and felt more as a friend than a service provider.

Be prepared to enter your treatment full force. Once you’re committed you’re in!

Initially an extended protocol was used to elevate my reserves. Although lengthy, it worked and I was able to produce more mature eggs than anticipated. Every cycle thereafter followed a standard 2 week protocol.

Minimal as I have insurance

I’m very pleased with my decision to have Dr. Klatsky as my provider during this process. He’s personable and appropriately empathetic with phenomenal bedside manners, which I found eased my trepidations quite a bit.

Don’t hesitate to ask questions because he’ll gladly answer any questions you might have.

My treatment consisted of Gonal-f, Menopur, and Cetrotice. I triggered with Novarel and 4mg of Lupron. Aside from the bloating, which was to be expected, I didn’t have any significant issues. The doctor projected 10 - 12 eggs would be retrieved; however, to my surprise, 21 eggs were retrieved and all matured.

I opted for the package at a set fee.

Dr. Hancock is patient and thoughtful, compassionate, explains things very well and is clearly very smart and competent. I scheduled a consultation following two first trimester miscarriages. After a thorough discussion in her office, she performed an US and quickly identified a potential cause. She explained further imaging that would be needed, and what steps would be taken afterwards. She was positive and thoughtful, and took the time to explain to me everything she was seeing on the ultrasound. I fully trusted her and felt that if I did proceed with IVF, I would have been in excellent hands.

Ask questions!

Dr.Fischer is very caring and friendly. She understands our needs and respect our choices. I got Covid during the process on day3 after I started my cycle, i think dr.fischer did adjust the treatment a little bit but in the end we are very satisfied with our result

Using Progyny's benefit, overall cost $1500

Dr. Yoder was professional, caring and thorough. I was very pleasantly surprised as I have had negative experiences with healthcare providers before. Dr. Yoder listened to what my goals were and never pressured me to make a decision or proceed with treatment before I was sure. She was upfront about what I could potentially expect, given my age, and what my options were if I wanted to wait longer before freezing my eggs - she was kind and understanding but was also direct and didn't sugar coat anything.

It was $9,750 for the cycle plus the cost of medications. I was fortunate that my insurance covered the cost of the medications so I only paid around $400 (out of pocket it would have been $4,400). Plus the cost of storage fees which are $960 per year. One of the reasons I chose Spring Fertility is that they offer a payment plan (doesn't include storage fees or medications) so I am able to pay off the cost of the cycle at $245 per month for 40 months.

From my 1st consultation to my last appointment when I was 8 weeks pregnant, I always felt supported by Dr. Klatsky. He always thoroughly explained things to me, went through pros and cons if there were any, and just showed he really cared. He's one of the best doctors I have ever met and I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking fertility treatments!

Dr. Klatsky used a low-dose more natural approach knowing a higher dose treatment strategy would not change my outcome. Though I only had 2 egg retrievals with Dr. Klatsky, I think his strategy paid off as the quality of my eggs seemed to have improved over my retrievals from the past. You can tell at every monitoring appointment he thought seriously about how I was progressing and adjusted and customized my protocol accordingly. It made me feel like I was in the best of hands.

I believe the costs were typical compared to other NY-based clinics but I fortunately had the majority of my costs covered by insurance.

I had been attending a different clinic before seeing Dr. Hancock and I had a poor experience, three rounds of IVF, one round completely failed. I was treated like a number and when I asked my old clinic for a new plan they told me just to have faith. Dr. Hancock walked me through a new custom plan and also explained all of the ways they’d change things up for better results. Something else I REALLY appreciated is that Dr. Hancock suggested that during my egg retrieval she’d also do a biopsy (can’t remember if this was for endo or the test to see how long you should wait to transfer). Either way I was super nervous about it because typically they do not provide pain management for this procedure, so I was blown away when this plan was offered. Dr. Hancock also regularly called me to check in and would ask if I had questions. I never felt rushed. At my last “big” clinic I never had that kind of care.

At these “big” clinics you’re really limited to plans that are one size fits all. Dr. Hancock has the flexibility to try new things and really get to know what works for you and what doesn’t.

Doctor Fischer is a brilliant doctor, and I cannot recommend working with her enough. She has this superpower of being able to articulate her vast expertise in a way that is simple and easy to understand which my partner and I very much appreciated. Every appointment I was at, she was also there with a smile and an unbeatable attitude.

Come prepared with your questions because she will be more than happy to answer them all!

I came to Dr Fischer somewhat broken. I had had multiple failures over the course of 2 years at the “best and “most prominent “ fertility clinics across the country . I didn’t have much hope. Dr fischer did an hour consult w me. Went over what had happened in the past, and came up w a new plan. She gave honest opinions on treatments and never gave false promises but definitely gave me the ability to want to try one more time. She was at every visit, she explained everything to me, and I seriously felt like her team were my best friends while I was in treatment. I miss them! I’m looking at my baby boy right now. Dr Fischer gave my husband and I a son and my daughter a sibling. We have two more boys on ice. There are no words to describe the gift that she has given us. I recommend Dr Fischer to everyone who needs hope. Don’t waste your time and money going other places. Just go to Spring.
