I highly recommend Doc Jie Deng as a Fertility Doctor because she is very flexible especially in fixing appointments, she is a kind hearted person and understand her patients, she explains every detail you may encounter while on the treatment, she is straight forward on things that might happen and gave advices on what to do do next. I love the way she treat her patients because its like a family.

Have faith on the process.

After my first visit, I follow all my Doctors advice on when will I start my medications and on what ever the dosage she gave me. I did a frequent monitoring visit to my Doctor to check me on how am I doing or having reaction on my meds. We have a portal where I can easily message my clinic if there is a problem and reply me as soon as they got my message. I can always call my Doctor too and patiently answer all the questions that I asked.

Better discuss with the Doctor if you plan and can transfer a single or multiple embryo before doing the PGTa.

I have no issues with Dr. Deng she is great at what she does and her staff works with me. She made me feel like a person who cares about what she does and took the time to listen to me. Her bedside manner is very warming as well and her staff called me once they received my information, unlike other places that just made me wait for weeks and sometimes months. I also love her flexible schedule and she listened to what I want not what she wanted to come up with.

Make sure that you communicate with your doctor! strongly advocate for yourself to and Dr. Deng is extremely understanding. She will come up with a plan that will work for you!

I know that for my consult it was $190 which was reasonable compared to other places that was charging $350-$400 just for an hour phone consult. I will see Dr. Deng in person.

Dr Deng was very professional and caring during my entire stressful ivf journey. She talked about all my options openly and carefully reviewed my surgical history. We discussed all of our options and went with IVF to take the route of genetic testing our embryos due to my age being a risk for potential complications. We did a retrieval and were able to get 39 eggs! We were able to get so many because Dr Deng carefully monitored the follicular growth, tweaking the injection amount and length of injections before the retrieval. She truly cares about our success and did this even though it put the retrieval on a day that was not necessarily convenient (the weekend). After that we did a medicated transfer first which didn’t stick. She then suggested we try a natural cycle instead and that stuck but ended up being a chemical pregnancy. She then suggested we try switching it up and changing the gender - that worked and we’re now pregnant! I asked if there was much to the gender theory and she said not likely, but it never hurts to try something new. And she was right. :)

We asked about transferring 2 after the chemical pregnancy as we were getting nervous I might have some fertility challenges after 2 failed attempts. She assured me the goal is to have one healthy baby at the end and that it’s safest to just do 1 because we have good high quality embryos. This is the transfer we got pregnant on so I’m SO glad we went with 1 or we might have 2 on board right now.

I have nothing but positives to say about Dr. Deng. You can really tell that she absolutely loves her job and works very hard to help improve patient outcome. We had a last minute decision to do genetic testing after our egg retrieval and Dr. Deng supported our decision and worked hard to ensure that it happened for us. We are so grateful for her dedication to this profession to helping her patients start a family.

Don’t hesitate to ask questions as Dr. Deng is very knowledgeable. Please be on time for your appointment, as I can tell that the staff feels bad when they were running 5 minutes late into my own appointment.

My husband and I has done Clomid for 3 cycles before decided that we want to start IVF with Dr. Deng. Since I had PCOS, on our 4th cycle of clomid, Dr. Deng began monitoring for follicle development and timed intercourse. While this was happening, we did bloodwork and semen analysis to better understand our fertility. It was discovered that in combination with my husbands low sperm count and my pcos, ICSI was probably the best course of action. Egg retrieval Protocol: We started with 150 units of Gonal-F for 3 days, 200 units for 2 days, 250 units for 4 days. We then added ganirelix and menopur. We did 3300 units of chorionic gonadotropin (Novarel) and 0.8 ml of Leuprolide. We ended up with 21 eggs retrieved, 19 fertilized, 5 successful embryos sent for genetic testing and 4 viable/ healthy embryos for freezing. We did a frozen embryo transfer with Endometrin 100 mg three times daily, estrogen 4 mg twice daily, and progesterone in oil 75 mg IM every other day. I also took doxycycline before the embryo transfer by on day 3 our 5 days taking it, i got very rashy and found that i might be allergic and discontinued. I was also taking chewable baby aspirin daily until i started having spotting, then stopped. The embryo transfer was successful! This resulted in our first pregnancy. I am currently 9 weeks pregnant and hope to carry baby to term.

Dr. Deng and Edyta always tried to help us communicate with out insurance first. Each time we visited the clinic, we were charged the expected co-pay amount. In total, along with egg retrieval, embryo freezing, the cost was between. $12,000 to $15,000 out of pocket cost.

We did a single embryo transfer because it felt safer to carry one baby at a time. We would have loved to have twins, but we also understood the risks of doing that.

Dr. Deng is very knowledgeable. She was able to adjust my injection dosage based on blood test and ultrasound to make sure all the eggs grow at the same speed and minimize the post-surgery discomforts. She is a good communicator. She always make sure I get the right dosage of injection and order the medicine from special pharmacy on time.

I have PCOS. So from early consultation, I was told that I have lots of eggs and could potentially develop hyperstimulation. During the process, one egg grows much faster than the rest. Dr. Deng adjusted the dosage of the injection so that the extra large one would not affect others. Dr.Deng also lowered the dosage of Menopur for me. I did not have hyperstimulation after egg retrieval.

Doctor has strong preference on single embryo transfer. She explained the chances of getting pregnant of single vs multiple embryo is the same. Multiple embryo may have more complications while pregnant.

She is very different than the previous fertility doctors we have seen. We switched clinic due to insurance change, and we were so glad that we found her. We never waited long for our appointments and always feel very comfortable talking with Dr. Deng.

Due to male infertility, we could only do IVF. After one round of egg retrieval and low fertility rate, we only got one embryo. She recommended doing another retrieval which I should have done, but I was tired of the process at that time and decided to go with the implantation. I should have preserved more eggs or embryos as she said, but we will do that afterwards.

Our insurance covered most of the costs. We've paid $450 for our initial visit in 2022 and we pay $30 co-pays for each visit. It's the same for 2023 as well.
