She [Dr. Gaya Murugappan] goes above and beyond!! From expeditious scheduling to comprehensive care and thoughtful discussion of all potential issues related to my primary concern I felt very cared for. She is knowledgable, personable, and compassionate...listened to all my questions, very thoughtful about tailoring consulting to my level of understanding, did not feel rushed at all, very personable which is rare in a doctor!
easy to park, nice tracker to monitor where patients are, on time, clean, nice US device. I liked that there was a screen so I could watch my ultrasound in real time while the doctor conducted it. I didnt have to wait very long and I liked being Able to get my labs drawn at the same location. It is nice that their facility [Stanford University] is a "one stop shop" for everything.

[Dr. Gaya Murugappan] goes above and beyond to make her patients feel seen and heard...receiving top-notch, evidence-based care...felt in the most capable of hands from scans to retrieval to hysteroscopy to transfer...the compassion [she] displayed during such a challenging time really helped us heal...focused not only on my physical well-being, but also my mental and emotional health. I am now pregnant again and entering the third trimester. No one expects to have a prolonged fertility journey, but I could not imagine a better-equipped doctor to have guiding me through it all
[Stanford University is a] Larger academic practice - Compassionate providers - Evidence-based care, cutting-edge research initiatives - High-quality, well-kept facilities - Convenient location off of 85 close to 101 and 280 intersections... I could not imagine a better-equipped doctor to have guiding me through it all than Dr. Murugappan...goes above and beyond to make her patients feel seen and heard during the entire fertility treatment process.
How was your experience with Gaya Murugappan at Stanford University?
I feel so grateful to have been in Dr. Murugappan's care (my husband and I were pursuing PGT-M). She goes above and beyond to make her patients feel seen and heard during the entire fertility treatment process. She has incredible medical training and knowledge as a clinician and researcher, so I always knew that I was receiving top-notch, evidence-based care. She has excellent procedural skills as well - I always felt in the most capable of hands from scans to retrieval to hysteroscopy to transfer. She is an excellent communicator and made it a point to include both myself and my husband in counseling and decision-making while demonstrating honesty, warm/positive energy, and kindness. We went on to experience an unexpected second-trimester pregnancy loss, and the compassion Dr. Murugappan displayed during such a challenging time really helped us heal. When I returned to her care to try and get pregnant again, she focused not only on my physical well-being, but also my mental and emotional health. I am now pregnant again and entering the third trimester. No one expects to have a prolonged fertility journey, but I could not imagine a better-equipped doctor to have guiding me through it all than Dr. Murugappan. I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone (family/friends included) looking for a fertility specialist.

[Dr. Gaya Murugappan] was wonderfully warm and caring...listens with true empathy and kindness...understanding of my stress and fears about pregnancy loss and validated my experiences...always thoughtful and detailed in explaining and proposing work up and treatment options that were individualized to my partner and me and our priorities...called immediately to explain results and talk about next steps and she reached out to me and was caring with the setbacks I experienced.
The clinic [Stanford University] had good flexibility for appointments. The staff was efficient. They were prompt and ran on time. I would return to the office for future fertility care if needed. The nurse coordinators seemed organized...Dr. Murugappan was full of compassion, kindness and medical knowledge that she presented in a super understandable way.
How was your experience with Gaya Murugappan at Stanford University?
Dr. Murugappan was full of compassion, kindness and medical knowledge that she presented in a super understandable way. She made me feel that we had discussed all options for maximizing my chance of a successful pregnancy and that we opted for the path that suited me best. She was genuinely invested in my having a good outcome and trike caring. Each early pregnancy ultrasound I was worried about miscarriage and she was sensitive and understanding of that. When I had a miscarriage, she was so kind. I felt so lucky to be cared for by her and I cannot recommend her highly enough for her unique combination of humanity and kindness, brilliance and technical skills.
