Dr. Sasson is a knowledgeable and compassionate fertility specialist. Throughtout the process ,and during each of the multiple appointments, he was patient and caring. He took the time to explain every step of the process in a detailed manner and would also answer all our questions. We felt respected and herd during the entire process. We will never forget that on the day of the embryo transfer, he told us he would carry our embryo tranfer in his prayers. We really appreciated it. That showed how he truly cares about each of his patients.

Be receptive and rest assured, you will be in good hands. Since the begining, we felt he was honest and transperent to us. Dr. Sasson is a very knowledgable fertility specialist and he has a great attention to detail. . Early in the process, he presented us a detailed plan to us and explained the layout. Through our IVF process, we percieved he has passion for what he does and that he does his best to give the patient the best treatment he can.

We had a 5-day embryo frozen transfer. Progesteron and estrogen shots two weeks prior to the procedure. The reason we did a frozen embryo transfer is that we had genetic testing done on the embryos. We had PGT-A screeing (testing of anomalies in the number of chromosomes). Also, since my husband was born with congenital glaucoma, we were presented the option to do PGT-M screening on our embryos. This additional step delayed our embryo transfer by several months, but it was worth it. Thorugh PGT-M we were able to identify the embryos free of a gene with a mutation that is associated with the desease.

we started our IVF journey in a different clinic before finding SGF, so the total cost for our IVF journey was splitted between both clinics. The portion of costs corresponding to the services provided at SGF was between $17k - $19k, including medications. We were blessed to have a successful pregnancy after the first IVF cycle. Also, we had a good insurance plan which covered a good part of the costs of our treatment.

Dr. Sasson was very straightforward that he would only transfered one embryo per cycle. To back up his rationale, he explained the complications and risks associated with multiple pregnancy for mom and baby.

He was able to identify the source of our fertility challenges quickly, and find the most direct path forward to make the best use of our insurance, as well as additional financial and emotional considerations. He held our hands through difficult moments and broke down stressful tasks into steps along with his fantastic team and really got us through to be a SGF success story!!

Diagnostic including HSG and test for endometriosis, followed by egg retrieval (using menopur, Lupron, gonal-f & ovidrel), followed by ICSI, embryo growth and then freezing/ genetic testing, and finally embryo transfer with 10 weeks of IM progesterone.

I only had one, but the theory would have been anyway that it’s better to have multiple chances for 1 than to have multiples at once.

My husband and I had been through an extensive amount of fertility treatments with other clinics and physicians, all of which did not result in any success. I was referred to Dr. Sasson for a second opinion within Shady Grove. He took the time to meet with me and answer any questions i had and was very empathetic to all the treatments my husband and i had been through. Our final embryo transfer with Dr. Sasson was our one and only success! He called after every ultrasound we had performed to formally congratulate us and check in. After 5+ years and multiple transfers, we are pregnant with our first baby!

If you're questioning your care and have been through multiple unsuccessful transfer with euploid embryos, meet with Dr. Sasson. Every case in different, although he is willing to review difficult cases and has great input. Ask questions, he is a wealth of knowledge and is willing to answer them.

After multiple unsuccessful transfers, Dr Sasson provided us with a creative plan in attempts to make our last embryo transfer successful. Although i didn't test positive for endometritis or a clotting disorder, we became pregnant taking aspirin, prednisone (higher dose), antibiotics prior to transfer and Lovenox.

We were in the shared risk program, so the cost to us upfront was around 45K. This program was of benefit to us though, as it took us multiple retrievals and 8 embryo transfers to have success.

We only had one embryo left, so we did a single embryo transfer. Prior to Dr. Sasson's care we transferred two embryos at one time, which was unsuccessful.

Dr. Sasson is warm, patient, kind, and thoughtful. He won’t sugarcoat his expectations for success and won’t waste your time with treatments that he doesn’t think will work. When he can, he goes out of his way to be there for your egg retrievals, even when he isn’t on-call. He has a great deal of compassion and is with you for the good and bad news.

Just be patient. Sometimes it can be difficult to connect with him in between treatments, but once you start it’s smooth sailing. Also, don’t be afraid of what he has planned for you - he’s willing to flex the plan as you prefer!

I feel like the 1st ivf round was fairly generic as you don’t know how someone will respond. Found out on this cycle that my right ovary was non-functional. I only had 1 embryo after the 1st round, and it was abnormal when we did the pgt-a test. The 2nd and 3rd ivf rounds were better; my protocol was switched i believe to lupron. I think i had 2 embryos on the 2nd round and 1 was normal. Then, I had the hsg and saline sonogram. And did the mock transfer/ERA transfer. Did the 1st frozen embryo transfer but it failed. Had to do a 3rd ivf round - got 2 normal embryos. Then switched my transfer protocol - took lupron depot and letrozole and then transferred 1. And she stuck!

I used insurance and out of pocket. After 3 ivf rounds, I spent roughly $20,000 to 30,000. I was never offered special plans or shared risk program.
