They had a 'harder outer shell' that the sperm could not penetrate. My previous Dr. had not mentioned this, so I immediately felt all other treatments were not necessary and just a waste

Dr. Stassart and the nurses we saw while in treatment were very warm, kind and personable.
However, before we got to the treatment stage, we had had a very difficult time getting an initial appointment with Dr. Stassart to discuss a potential infertility diagnosis that we were initially unsure about. We could not get through to Dr. Stassart, the clinic scheduling reps kept telling us we needed to schedule treatment appointments when we were at first just looking for answers about what, if any infertility issues existed. We felt pressured to decide starting treatment before we were sure that this was the way to go. We could only get an appointment with a NP who coldly and bluntly confirmed an infertility diagnosis that we would have wanted to hear from a doctor. From that perspective, we felt like numbers and that this was mainly a business transaction. After we started the treatment, we felt more warmth and compassion from the staff.
