Dr. Stelling is extremely knowledgable and very patient. He has no problem answering as many questions as you have and explains things thoroughly. He does not have a big ego and therefore has no problem with you questioning your treatment plan. If I had any urgent needs he would always respond quickly to me via phone call or email. Throughout my process he has always been kind, reassuring, positive and empathetic.

I used Menopur 75 & Gonal 200 for retrieval. We also used ICSI due to severe male factor.

All monitoring appointments were typically in the early morning-early afternoon

Our insurance covered most of the expenses. I had copays for every visit and the medications. Also paid out of pocket for PGT testing which was around $5,000.

Dr. Stelling encourages younger patients with no history of re-occuring loss to do single embryo transfers which is what I did. He explained it is recommended for the the health and safety of mom and baby. He does multiple embryo transfers based on specific medical criteria/age.

We had our consultation with Dr. Stelling via telemedicine, as it was in the middle of the early pandemic. He spent 50+ minutes with me and my husband that day and when the call ended my husband the skeptic said "he's our guy!" I felt that way after each visit. Through the ups and the downs of the process, Dr. Stelling managed by medical care as well as my expectations and fears. He might talk faster than any doctor I've had before, but was always willing to slow down and explain again if asked. Our numbers didn't look great on paper and we knew from the start what we might be facing, but things worked out faster and better than expected. After one round of IVF I'm currently 15 weeks with a healthy baby boy. Incredibly grateful to Dr. Stelling for making this dream a reality for us.

Don't hesitate to ask him to repeat himself, he doesn't ever seem to mind. It's more important to understand.

OCP, Menopur 150 and Gonal 300 6 days, add Cetrotide 5 days, just Cetrotide last day, then HCG if I remember correctly.

Once our out of pocket max was met, there was little cost associated with treatment aside from egg freezing and storage.

Dr. Stelling is hard to read at first but that is mostly because he speaks VERY fast. Once you catch on to his speed he is very thorough, and quite humorous. If I wanted to have another child I would definitely use him again.

Don't be afraid to ask him to repeat himself.

With my initial blood work Dr. Stelling started me on thyroid meds for hypothyroidism and Vitamin D for a deficiency. My first four tries were IUIs, each with an HCG trigger shot. After the 4th failed attempt we added Clomid pills which increased the number of follicles and led to pregnancies each time. Try 4 and 5 resulted in miscarriages. After the second miscarriage Dr. Stelling ordered a slue of blood work which revealed I had a slightly elevated clotting factor that may have been causing the miscarriages. So with the 7th try (third pregnancy) I began taking a low dose aspirin daily. That is why my daughter's nick name is Lucky Seven. :-)

My insurance paid for all the medical expenses. I paid about $1000 a try for the donor sperm.

Dr stelling made me very comfortable talking about my infertility issues. We came up with a game plan together for my particular situation due to my husband religious beliefs. Dr stelling never tried to push any treatment I was not comfortable with. Even though we were not successful with a pregnancy, I don’t feel it was Anything dr stelling did or did not do.

Be prepared for him to be upfront with you and enjoy a good laugh. He is great at making you feel comfortable from the very first visit.

First cycle was clomid with timed intercourse. Second cycle was clomid with iui. Third cycle was clomid with iui.

My insurance covered most of my infertility services.

My husband and I both left Dr. Stelling's office smiling after our first consultation with him. He was personable and understanding of the fact that we're "not millionaires" ready to jump to the most expensive forms of treatment. However, he was just as understanding when we were emotionally spent and worked with us. He was the fourth and final doctor we saw and cannot say enough about him. We have since moved out of state but will be traveling back to Dr. Stelling for our next cycle as opposed to finding a new doctor.

He tells it like it is. He'll use the word "boobs" and tell you and your spouse that he understands you're probably sick of having sex. It may not sound professional to some but it lightens the mood and really creates a more personable and comfortable atmosphere.

Monitoring appointments were run like a well oiled machine. The waiting room was never overflowing and I was always in and out.

The nurse and staff who are actually no longer with RSOFNY were kind and made me feel extremely comfortable given an uncomfortable situation . Dr Stelling and his staff moved to his new office for his new practice and j was very happy to see all of my old nurses as well as him

Listen very carefully , he speaks very fast

I always started my cyles on day 3 of my period , protocol was 5 days of clomid and follicle scans before IUI
