Monitoring hours at the Westchester RMA location are very organized, and they get you in and out quickly so you can get to work in the morning. The procedures such as egg retrieval and embryo transfer are done at the Madison Ave location in NYC though (not in the offices in Westchester)...The nurses are all extremely kind, warm and helpful. Navigating the insurance process for all the drugs administered can be daunting, and they definitely helped me get through it
How was your experience with Jeffrey Klein at RMA of New York?
From the moment I had my first consultation with Dr. Klein, I felt that he made personal connections with his clients and was vested in their success to become pregnant. I had an idea that the IVF process would be a bit daunting, but regardless of the small setbacks along the way my confidence in Dr. Klein never wavered. He is kind, sympathetic, and a true expert in his field. My husband and I are so grateful that we were recommended to him and have a happy and healthy 2 month old son now thanks to him and his team!
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Jeffrey Klein at RMA of New York?
Be confident knowing that whatever setbacks are thrown your way during the fertility process, you can trust that Dr. Klein will do everything possible to ensure a positive outcome. Patience will pay off!
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Jeffrey Klein at RMA of New York?
I never felt rushed during nay of my visits with Dr. Klein regardless of how many people were waiting to be seen. He took the time to answer all of my questions and was extremely comforting and supportive throughout the entire process. I couldn't have asked for better bedside manner, he really is vested in his patients' success.
Describe the protocols Jeffrey Klein used in your cycles at RMA of New York and their degree of success.
I had a successful egg retrieval which resulted in a good number of viable embryos, however the first two transfer cycles were unsuccessful. Dr. Klein performed a saline sonogram to ensure there was nothing wrong with my uterus before trying for a third time and found nothing of concern. Although I was nervous to try a third embryo transfer given the disappointment of the first two rounds and no real explanation as to why they didn't take, Dr. Klein convinced me that the odds were in my favor - and he was right. The third time worked which resulted in a pregnancy without any complications.

Describe the costs associated with your care under Jeffrey Klein at RMA of New York.
I am fortunate in that my insurance covered a large portion of the IVF process. I paid somewhere between $3k and 5k for copays for the treatment cycles, and upwards of $1k for all the copays for the office visits and monitoring appointments (of which there were many so the copays definitely add up). I also paid somewhere between $700 and 800 for genetic testing of embryos.
