[Dr. Kate O'Leary] was always warm, compassionate and took her time speaking with us. We felt she knew us as individuals and always made us feel as best as we could, even in hard times. She was always very professional as a doctor and we always felt like we were told the truth, even when things were difficult. We would absolutely recommend her...She was always willing to spend the time to answer them but didn't necessarily go into great detail if we didn't ask.
We worked closely with Sarah and Marie Ma [nurses at Institute for Reproductive Health]. We always felt considered and well taken care of, even on Sunday mornings. They were kind, organized, and genuinely interested in our being able to start a family... The self-pay option for IVF was about $11,000, and another $4500 in meds...the administrative side of the practice had some challenges. We felt the ability to get in touch, just get someone on the phone was difficult at times, and in moments very frustrating - especially when the anxiety and worry were running high. Even simple questions required leaving and message and being called back. Perhaps an online chat portal could be utilized for simple questions about appointments, billing, etc.

We worked closely with Sarah and Marie Ma. We always felt considered and well taken care of, even on Sunday mornings. They were kind, organized, and genuinely interested in our being able to start a family.
Describe your experience with Institute for Reproductive Health.
The Institute for Reproductive Health has a fantastic team of doctors and nurses. All of the care we received was wonderful. However, the administrative side of the practice had some challenges.
Describe the costs associated with your care under Kate O'Leary at Institute for Reproductive Health.
We have spent over $30,000 as our insurance covered nothing. The self-pay option for IVF was about $11,000, and another $4500 in meds. As an lgbt couple many of our costs came with donor sperm during IUI attempts.
