How was your experience with Margareta Pisarska at Cedars-Sinai?
Dr. Pisarska is aware of her practice and has a great load of knowledge. But as a patient I did not receive that compassionate warmth from her. She can be a great educator and a good resource to her patients, but not someone to provide infertility treatments as it’s a sensitive topic.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Margareta Pisarska at Cedars-Sinai?
Don't walk into the office expecting to be greeted as a "fertility" patient. The office atmosphere feels cold and not welcoming. She is always way too busy to have a direct conversation with her patients.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Margareta Pisarska at Cedars-Sinai?
As a patient, I felt too small to fit in the huge reproductive office the doctor was running along with the other physician. All my direct questions and concerns were not heart felt answers I received either of the nurses or the team members. For the doctor’s office, I was yet another number they treated and it truly echoed that way.
Describe the protocols Margareta Pisarska used in your cycles at Cedars-Sinai and their degree of success.
I was put on clomid on both of my IUI's. Based on her experience she recommended to have back to back IUI's to result in pregnancy. WRONG!!! that wasn't the case and it did not result in pregnancy as to her hopes.
Describe your experience with the nursing staff.
Total robots....no sort of compassion or sympathy towards their patients.
Describe your experience with Cedars-Sinai.
Way to expensive, they charge you for every little thing with NO exception. I was informed by the office to change insurance plans from a PPO to an HMO for better coverage, but was the complete opposite. The billing is confusing and the coordinator who goes over the fees can never give you a solid answer as to how much you will end up paying.
Describe the costs associated with your care under Margareta Pisarska at Cedars-Sinai.
An estimate of $3,800 for IUI
Describe Margareta Pisarska's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at Cedars-Sinai.
I did not do embryo transfer with this doctor.
