Dr. Yemini always recommends one embryo at a time. However, he told us that he would transfer 2 if that was what we wished to do. Keep in mind we have already gone through 2 unsuccessful single embryo transfers...has a very warm personality. He connected with us right away. He answered all of our questions thoroughly. He joked around with us and made us feel comfortable. He even thanked us for choosing him to help us get pregnant.
Not only was Stephanie [nurse at Diamond Institute for Infertility] always incredible to talk to and answer all my questions, but so was Betty and Janet. They talked to me about all kinds of things in my life which made me feel very comfortable...The monitoring appointments were very well run. There was a large enough window of time that I could always find a convenient time to go and it wasn't overly crowded.

What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Matan Yemini at Diamond Institute for Infertility?
He has a strong accent so listen carefully.
Describe the protocols Matan Yemini used in your cycles at Diamond Institute for Infertility and their degree of success.
Originally Dr. Yemini followed a standard protocol for an FET. The transfer failed. Once reviewing my file he changed my protocol to incorporate low dose menopur because my lining had a better response to the stimulants than the estrogen and progesterone alone.
Describe your experience with your nurse at Diamond Institute for Infertility. (Assigned nurse: Stephanie)
Amazing! Not only was Stephanie always incredible to talk to and answer all my questions, but so was Betty and Janet. They talked to me about all kinds of things in my life which made me feel very comfortable.
Describe your experience with Diamond Institute for Infertility.
I do not think they have any weaknesses. They have multiple offices which is great when it comes to traveling and flexibility. They have a surgical unit in the Millburn office which is very convenient. Everything is well maintained. All the staff are always available to answer questions and offer support.
Describe your experience with your monitoring appointments at Diamond Institute for Infertility.
The monitoring appointments were very well run. There was a large enough window of time that I could always find a convenient time to go and it wasn't overly crowded.
Describe the costs associated with your care under Matan Yemini at Diamond Institute for Infertility.
I am very fortunate to have insurance with United Healthcare. Everything was covered aside from copays for appointments ($50) and copays for procedures ($100). My ERA was paid for out of pocket ($800) and embryo freezing is 25 per year. Rochelle in financing did an amazing job explaining everything to me.
Describe Matan Yemini's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at Diamond Institute for Infertility.
Dr. Yemini always recommends one embryo at a time. However, he told us that he would transfer 2 if that was what we wished to do. Keep in mind we have already gone through 2 unsuccessful single embryo transfers.
