She [Dr. Link] is very warm and approachable. I didn’t feel judged or criticized. I only have met her once but I did learn a lot from that one visit. She told me all about the risks of having PCOS and hypothyroidism and the whole process of IUI and purchasing sperm from a sperm bank. ... It took a month to find out the right dosage of medication I ended up with 3 clomid, 4 letrozole, and 3 metformin daily Which let me get one IUI which failed. And now doing the same dosage no follicles grew so we have to discuss the new game plan Of maybe fertility shots
[University of Utah is] Quick to get you in and out. Some nurses are more friendly than others. Some ultrasound techs explain more than others. If the main nurse isn’t there you have to wait for an e-mail with instructions on what to do next and I prefer hearing it in person ... She [nurse] is extremely nice and is always there to try and keep me motivated and to make sure that I’m not alone and the only one going through this. Very easy to reach and answer any question I have
