dr Traub was always available and super responsive to the emails. Whatever questions I had they were answered. When our first transfer didn't work we were seen the same day we found out and he already had few options for us to choose from. He explained to us all the pros and cons of each.

Ask questions and they will be answered. Ask for all the options and be prepared when you go in.

I was told right away my options and best and worse case scenarios. I am as on high dose of gonal F, Menopur and clomid as I am a poor responder. This resulted in 7 eggs retrieved and all of them fertilized. 4 were frozen and PGA tested. 3 were normal.

The basic with ICSI was about 11-12k, anesthesia 600, we had a frozen cycle , extra embryo transfer was 3k

We had 3 embryos to transfer one high grade and the other two lower. Dr suggested to transfer just one of the highest quality and my husband wanted to transfer two but dr suggested that it will not raise our odds too much. We decided with one and this did not take. After that we went with two and one took resulting in one live pregnancy.

He is very thorough with his assessment and explains the lab/radiologic results in laymen's terms. He has a good bedside manner, and really took the time to understand my unique situation. He allowed me to have hope and be comfortable with his care. He made sure to confirm that I understood the information that he provided me with as this is all new to me and my partner.

My secondary insurance covers screenings, diagnostic tests and IUI. It does not cover IVF. The office is transparent with the cost of the treatment by posting it at their website.

Dr. Traub is an amazing Doctor. He addresses the need of the patient and develops a plan and explains everything throughly to the patient. He was gentle kind and compassionate and I would highly recommend him to others.

I underwent surgery for Stage IV Endometriosis and as soon as I was healed we started the ivf cycle.

My ivf process was covered by insurance 75%. I still paid well over $20,000 altogether for both of my pregnancy cycles and my failed cycle.

He told me that IVF was the best option for me because my endometriosis had compromised my reproductive systems- and this was my only way to get pregnant.

IVF was 4500 ... and co-pays for lab work were 25-50 .... and genetic testing was ability 250 an embryo - so all together it cost between 6-8 thousand dollars

Dr Traub was the second RE I visited as I was with treatment from the first. Dr. Traub was candid and plainly explained the entire IVF process and expectations. I like that he was always pleasant, positive and knowlegeable.

I would advise you to ask ask any questions you might have to better know the entire fertility journey.

My first RE had me on a mini IVF and this I found was wasteful considering the expense. I yielded 3 egg. Dr. Traub disagreed with this treatment. His treatment was just a "norma" IVF protcol. I was able to get 8 eggs and 5 day 5 embryos. All were PGS tested normal.

Dr. Traub prefers single transfer. I was given the option to select the specific embryo I wished to transfer.

He is an excellent dr with a caring and compassionate personality. He truly puts his all into every one of his patients and explains every thing in detail . I never felt rushed in his office . Always felt very comfortable and knew going Into this what kind of outcome to expect based on our discussion. Dr Traub feels with my diminished ovarian eggs I need ivf but don’t have the funds for it and still allowed me to go ahead and try fertility drugs and a few iui cycles to test my luck.

He’s one of the most caring and honest dr’s.

He provides with you an honest assessment of your circumstances and outlines all treatment options available. He has taken care of my medical needs for years and will continue to in the future. I was diagnosed with multiple issues (endometriosis, premature ovarian failure etc) and began to feel hopeless that I would ever be able to get pregnant. I am pregnant now thanks to Dr. Traub. He has answered any questions that we have had along our journey, and there have been many. He spent a significant amount of time with us during appointments and would even personally respond to our emails in a timely fashion. His care and expertise is second to none. I can't say enough about Dr. Traub. I have struggled with getting pregnant for many years. Dr. Traub made my dream come true not once, but now twice. His confidence and postiive outlook on taking the right steps for me to get pregnant were exactly what we needed during such a stressful time. He is truly the best!

Dr. Traub is very knowledgeable about the latest protocol in regards to fertility treatment. From the first consultation he pinpointed exactly the issues, detailed the likelihood of conceiving, and kept us informed through the whole process. I went into the process intending to trust him and I was never disappointed. The process itself can be frustrating/disappointing but never with his medical decision making. From the first appointment based on my previous labs/experience he immediately stated I had lean PCOS with irregular ovulation cycles. We decided to go with IUI with Ovidrel injection for 2 cycles that were unsuccessful. After the 2nd cycle he brought us in for a consultation, decided IVF with FET was the next step but while we got the paperwork settled we did one more cycle of IUI. When that was unsuccessful we immediately, the next month, moved into IVF which was successful the first try. His thinking ahead of time prevented us from waiting longer to start the IVF process which worked the best for us.

To trust him and the clinic. I cannot speak for other patients with more complicated diagnoses but his straightforward medical approach kept me calm through the process. Being in healthcare I wanted someone who followed the latest research, which he definitely does. He is also very careful in not overstimulating patients with PCOS and I was informed multiple times I was kept on the lowest dose of injections to prevent hyperstimulation and still get positive results.

From the first appointment based on my previous labs/experience he immediately stated I had lean PCOS with irregular ovulation cycles. I had come to him on Letrozole that was begun by my previous OBGYN. He immediately converted that cycle to a medicated IUI cycle with Ovidrel injection. We did one more cycle after that with both unsuccessful. After the 2nd cycle he brought us in for a consultation, decided IVF with FET was the next step but while we got the paperwork settled we did one more cycle of IUI. When that was unsuccessful we immediately, the next month, moved into IVF which was successful the first try. His thinking ahead of time prevented us from waiting longer to start the IVF process which worked the best for us. In IVF I had the lowest dose of injections for 10 days and I finally triggered with two injections. In the NJ office it seems most procedures happen on Friday. After my egg retrieval (16 eggs) I was given updates every 2 days regarding my embryos. We opted for genetic testing. Dr. Traub personally called with the testing results (6 embryos, 3 tested genetically normal) and we decided together which embryo to move forward with. He was clear from the beginning that only one embryo would be transferred and I completely agreed with his medical reasoning. Before my embryo transfer he had a strict medical protocol which involved prednisone and regular bloodwork and calls from Sally regarding my dosages. The whole process was clearly done under a strict protocol based on my biological responses to ovarian stimulation and not just standard dosages. He was very careful not to cause hyperstimulation and serious side effects.

Insurance provided $10K toward fertility treatments. We decided to pay for 2 IUI (500 each) out of pocket to save it toward an IVF cycle which worked out the best in the end. Medications and genetic testing were also out of pocket ($6K approx) but I made the decision to pay more to make the protocol easier for myself (clinic pre-mixed injections for me and I chose Crinone gel over the progesterone injections).

Dr. Traub firmly believes in eSET. I had no particular feeling either way but when I asked his opinion he stated that no doctor should take the risk of a multiple pregnancy in my case (healthy woman less than 35). However, I do think that if we had a differing opinion he would have taken that into account.

I highly recommend Dr. Traub. He performed surgery on me to remove my uterine fibroids, got me pregnant with my one year old son through IVF, and I’m currently pregnant with my second child through IVF. I was Dr. Traub’s patient from April 2019-March 2022. Dr. Traub is warm, kind, responsive, compassionate, and honest. He took his time to explain things to me and I always left his office understanding my next steps. He understood how badly I wanted children and always made me feel heard. He responded to emails quickly and even took a call from me on a Sunday when I had a concern. Struggling with fertility is extremely difficult, but it wasn’t as scary with Dr. Traub guiding me through it.

Dr. Traub has an office near the Verazzano Bridge that he uses for early morning appointments, even though his main office is in Tottenville. You can easily go to morning monitoring there and still make it to work on time in Brooklyn or Manhattan.

First, Dr. Traub did a saline ultrasound to assess how many uterine fibroids I had. Then, he performed surgery to remove them. It took 3 months to recover, then we started IUI. After 3 failed iui’s, we started IVF. (IUI success rates are low to begin with.) My first IVF attempt was successful and I have a healthy one year old son. I returned to Dr. Traub to get pregnant again. We did two embryo transfers with embryos left over from my previous egg retrieval, but I miscarried. We did another egg retrieval and then an embryo transfer. It was successful; I’m currently ten weeks pregnant.

Morning monitoring was a breeze. They have multiple locations, with one monitoring office located right near the Verazzano Bridge which opens at 6:30 a.m. That made it easy for me to get to work in Brooklyn on time. The office was a well-oiled machine, treating patients in a pleasant and efficient manner.

I can’t remember the total cost, but I remember Sally and Shannon sat down with me and clearly explained my upcoming costs.

Since I needed a pretty involved surgery to remove my 28 uterine fibroids, we did not even consider transferring multiple embryos. My uterus would not have been able to carry two babies.

Dr. Traub is a fantastic physician. He is trustworthy, knowledgable, honest, transparent, inclusive, and patient with his clients. He was always pleasant. He reassured me and my husband of what to expect during certain processed and procedures. Dr. Traub made himself available via email, and always responded in a timely manner.

Trust him and the process.

I had to undergo two egg retrieval cycles due to a poor egg quality in my first retrieval. The second egg retrieval cycle was much more successful because Dr. Traub increased the dosages of some stimulation medications. He said this has brought success in the past, and luckily had been successful for me, as well.

Monitoring hours were in the morning, and I found it to be busiest when they would open. It still ran smoothly.

Very comparable and competitive pricing compared to other fertility clinics. The nurses helped in finding the cheapest medications available.

Prefer the single embryo transfer as opposed to multiple embryo transfer because it is about keeping everyone safe and healthy. Single embryo transfer is safer for the mom, and also the baby.

Dr. Traub is thorough and honest with his work. He is straight forward with his professional opinion about what would be best for you and bring you a hopeful successful pregnancy. He can sometimes be quick when he sees you, but he always stays to answer any questions you may have.

Be prepared for the hard truth, he doesn’t fluff it up much but I feel that’s a good thing.

We completed three IUI cycles using Clomid, Omnitrope, and Estradiol. Two were unsuccessful and the third gave me my daughter! I also completed an egg retrieval and embryo freezing out of pocket. I was prescribed Menopur, Gonal-F and Lupron. We retrieved 12 eggs, 10 fertilized, 6 made it to blast and 3 were normal.

IVF egg retrieval and embryo freezing without a transfer out of pocket costs nearly $15,000 which includes procedures and medication. IUI was covered under my insurance. I only had to pay a co-payment for each visit.

Dr. Traub eases your fears through efficient communication. No matter how nervous I was before an appointment or scan, the second he walked in the room I felt calmer. He is amazing at his job! He is thorough in every aspect of treatment.

Due to insurance reasons we had to do 3 IUIs before IVF. After the first cycle took longer to develop mature eggs, Dr. Traub upped the medication for the second and third cycles. When they didn’t work we jumped right into IVF. I responded very well to the injectables and had a large egg retrieval with 13 PGS tested embryos in the end. Through any test and procedure I knew I was in excellent care with Dr. Traub.

Dr. Traub has treated both my sister and myself. We both have PCOS. My sister is now pregnant with her second child, and I am pregnant with my first. All thanks to Dr. Traub. He treats each patient individually, is patient and has a calming demeanor. He understood how anxious I was throughout this process and never appeared annoyed by it. After failed IUI attempts, we moved on to IVF. He prepared us that this could be necessary and the process was explained clearly. We were heart broken after our first IVF transfer failed, Dr. Traub took the time to meet with us and go over everything and helped us move forward onto our second, and now successful, transfer. He is very responsive in emails day or night and always right to the point. I appreciate his attentiveness. You can tell he really cares about his work and his patients.

It can be a lengthy and difficult process, be sure to write everything down, and don't be afraid to ask questions. Dr. Traub and his staff are kind and patient, they will answer all of your questions and show you compassion during what is likely one of the most difficult times you will face.

We started with IUI. The first attempt was a combination of Letrozole and Clomid, and led to a chemical pregnancy. After that we tried adjusting medications for the next few IUI cycles, and after it didn't work we were told to be prepared IVF would likely be necessary. We had to continue with another IUI cycle because of our insurance, which was of no fault to Dr. Traub and he shared in our frustration with this. We moved on to IVF and had a successful egg retrieval. Our first transfer failed, we were not sure why besides sometimes it just doesn't work. Dr. Traub then performed a saline sonogram to check for any possible missed issues although we all knew it wasn't likely. Then we proceeded on to our second transfer which was successful. I continued to be monitored with blood work and sonogram and now preparing to go to my regular OB (and sad to leave Dr. Traub and his staff although very happy this is the reason why)

The monitoring appointments are done at two locations on opposite sides of Staten Island which is convenient. The monitoring is done early in the morning so that patients can go before work which is very convenient and appreciated. The monitoring hours are always organized and run-well.

My insurance did cover a lot but the copayments and medication copayments do add up. We also paid for the genetic testing which was not covered by insurance. The finance person at the clinic broke down all the costs and when they would be due so we could prepare.

We understood why this is his recommendation and trust him.

Dr Traub was extremely professional every step of the way. I always felt very comfortable and he always gave me all the information I needed for any test or procedure. I felt he was rooting for me and was very happy for me when I became pregnant. He responded to all my emails and even offered to see me when I was worried and had concerns. I never hesitated to reach out to him and that meant everything to me.

Do not hesitate to ask him questions, he will always answer you.

We started with medicated IUIs, our plan was to try only 2-3 times because of my age, he had suggested I start with IVF, but I wanted to try IUI first. He listened to me and had no problem doing what I wanted first. Luckily the second IUI resulted in pregnancy.

Dr. Traub was honest, straightforward with me about my particular fertility situation. After undergoing necessary medical tests Dr. Traub gave me statistics of possibility of me conceiving using different options. He was patient with me answering multiple questions during appointments and multiple emails with more questions. Dr. Traub helped me with his professional and personal advice when it was time to choose my donors. He thoroughly explained each step of the treatments.

I would tell a prospective patient that Dr. Traub is knowledgeable and will be realistically honest about your situation and your options. Don’t expect someone who will sugar coat. Ask numerous questions, he will always take the time to answer them in depth whether it be during an appointment or through email. He will give you tons of information.

Dr Traub prescribed a few medications and an injectible to get my hormone levels and the body ready for the egg transfer and pregnancy. Given dosages were adjusted or kept the same after blood test and/or sonogram.

All costs and billing were explained by the financial team.

Dr. Traub inquired how many children i'd like to have and based on my personal situation i preferred to have one transfer.

Starting the fertility process at 39 (later in the game) is always scary and concerning. You give up your faith, everything you're taught to believe, and give in to science. I initially started my journey at NYU and somewhere along the way you just start to go through the motions and start to feel like a robot, forced to accept whatever hand is dealt to you. It becomes very impersonal and with each unsuccessful procedure you start to give up. When I was done feeling that way, I found Dr. Traub and everything changed. He changed my course of treatment and my thinking in the process. He was sympathetic, personal, knowledgable, accessible and raised my spirits. After my 1st successful egg retrieval, my embryos tested abnormal and I was devastated. I will never forget sobbing with him over the phone on a Sunday then in his office 2 days later when he told me "If you were my wife, I would tell you to try one more time before we consider alternate treatment." He basically talked me off the ledge and guided me emotionally, told me to take a break, regroup and let's start again. I did. Today, at 42 years old, I'm a mom to a beautiful little boy (almost 2) and 10 weeks pregnant with my 2nd (little girl). I always say I owe it all to him. He restored my faith. I recommend him to anyone who asks and he has treated several friends with much success. The hardest part is always saying goodbye but he is always in my heart and my prayers.

Let him do his job. We tend to get in our own way with our preconceived notions and create issues when there are none...let him guide you and have faith in the process.

I currently work with Dr. Traub. I would highly recommend him. I wish I came to him sooner. This has been a hell of a year but he worked hard to figure out exactly what I needed. Throughout any process for fertility treatment it is very scary… they’ll be moments when you’re home and needing to ask questions for clarity and/or peace of mind.. Dr. Traub is excellent with email. He emails you back almost immediately. I have to say during this process that helped relax me and remain calm. I full heartedly thank him for where we are today.

Trust him. Be patient. Ask questions and don’t be afraid to advocate for yourself.

IVF- we did two cycles as my first egg retrieval only resulted in one healthy egg. After second retrieval I was on meds again and closely monitored for transplant of one frozen embryo. I am on lovenox and baby aspirin as I have a low grade blood clotting disorder. Mostly for precaution.

All in with appointment co pays, medications, testing, and IVF cost after insurance I would say approx $3-4k

Dr. Traub was a great doctor and I am so happy with the care I received. He was outstanding in every way! He always explained everything to my husband and I. I never felt like I couldn’t reach out to the doctor no matter how silly I thought my question may have been.

Take his advice and just trust him. He knows what he is doing and will work as hard as he can to come up with the best possible outcome for your situation.

We did IUI so I took letrozole during my cycles and then was monitored daily with blood work and Sonograms during the cycle. When dr traub knew I was ready he would inform me to take the trigger injection (ovidrel) and then I would come in within 36 hours to have the IUI procedure done. It was quick and easy and not painful at all.

We paid out of pocket for one cycle of IUI and it cost 1,250. This included all monitoring and blood work. The other two cycles were covered by insurance

I cannot say enough good about Dr. Traub. He was always knowledgeable and straightforward, putting nerves and anxiety at ease, but always lets you know the risks of things. He was always timely, caring, spent the time with you, always available via email.

Listen to him! He knows best. Better than you, better than google! Google will freak you out, and his advice may contradict what you read, but every time I felt something was missing based on what I read online, Dr. Traub always knew best and put my google obsession to rest. TRUST your doctor.

This transfer was a 5 day frozen transfer. We had 13 embryos frozen since our first go-round. I was on crinone gel, progesterone pills, baby aspirin, estradiol, prednisone (all different doses/times). The bloodwork was consistently done to monitor my status and where I was at with my cycle and thankfully now, my pregnancy! We are in the process of weaning me off the meds after just about 2 months. I am a couple days shy of 10 weeks pregnant.

~17-20k all-in for the first IVF process in its entirety. For the second frozen transfer about 5k all-in for procedure, meds copays etc.

Based on the results of my retrieval years ago, there was no indication to transfer multiples. I appreciate his approach to single pregnancies whenever possible.
