Dr. Traub was very sympathetic to my situation. My husband and I were told by numerous previous REs in NYC that my husband had a less than 1% chance of ever having a biological child (even with IVF) as he allegedly had zero sperm. Then, I was told I would have uncomfortable complications (OHSS) if I ever pursued IVF anyhow. So we opted in for embryo adoption. Long story short, when we came to Dr. Traub, he redid my husband’s SA and each time...he had sperm. Dr. Traub also concluded that my PCOS diagnosis previously given to me, had little to no validity. I had been doing donor sperm IUIs with my previous RE which were costing thousands and extremely inefficient (obviously). We ended up pursuing IVF with Dr. Traub and it was a breeze. Pain and discomfort was minimal for me, and I didn’t get OHSS as my previous RE swore I would. Dr. Traub was extremely thorough in our initial consultation and reassured me that IVF wouldn’t be my demise (lol). He’s never been late to an appointment, and always answers questions either during appointments or via email where he’s easily reached. Had we not gone to Dr. Traub, we wouldn’t have been given the chance to have biological children for absolutely zero reason. However, I do struggle with pain believed to be caused by ‘suspected endometriosis’ and haven’t been given the reassurance that it’ll ever get better :(

I believe I had a relatively standard IVF protocol. I was on stimulate injections (menopur, gonal-f, and night before retrieval ovidrel[sp*] for trigger shot) for roughly 8-10 days. I went in for monitoring every couple of days. I opted out of birth control but was on it for two days prior to stims due to some internal error (but it wasn’t a big deal). Egg retrieval was a bit scary and had a bit of a panic upon awaking but it was all fine and smooth sailing from what I understand. The only thing I would make note of is they never told me what my lining was at or my follicular count. This did ease anxiety, but also kind of heightened it. But I’m sure had I asked, I could’ve found out.

Monitoring was straightforward and simple. Showed up between 7am-8am. Bloods would be drawn and then ultrasound. Bloodwork results would typically arrive back mid-afternoon.

My IVF cycle cost around $6,800 after insurance. Medications were $480 after insurance (huge win there). And I think maybe $200ish for freezing my husband’s sperm? PGS testing was an additional $1,500 I believe. It was very affordable compared to other clinics I’ve previously been to.

Dr. Traub only allows single embryo transfers unless the situation is unique. I had one embryo transferred which I was initially worried about because I was convinced one would not be enough to actually be successful. I was wrong. And I’m glad I was. The idea of multiples is unnerving.

Dr. Traub is an exceptional doctor who is knowledgeable, caring, and thorough. He is truly the best and makes you feel so comfortable and hopeful. He is very accessible as well, answering emails within hours (even on weekends). I would highly recommend Dr. Traub!

He makes himself completely available to his patients any time they have questions or concerns, which is very comforting while going through a stressful time.

The monitoring appointments were always quick and easy. I hardly ever had to wait. I was always in and out within minutes of it was just bloodwork. The ultrasounds were also very easy and quick. The girls at the monitoring appointments were excellent.

Majority was covered by insurance, I paid about $1500 out of pocket and then a few thousand more genetic testing. Frozen embry transfer around $550

It was not necessary in my situation to consider multiple embryo transfer

Dr. Traub took the time and effort each time we entered his office. When I sent emails with concerns he answered them within hours to ease my mind and reassure that everything was okay. He was very straight forward with results and plans going forward.

Trust everything he says! He’s always right!

Dr. Traub had us skip straight to IVF due to endometriosis. He was forward with our options. He set us up with the nurses who explained the medication and administration of such medication prior to egg retrieval. Once we retrieved our eggs Dr. Traub explained what he had retrieved once I was able to understand. The office kept constant contact with us over the 6 days that the embryos developed. When it came time to implant Dr. Traub explained the entire procedure to me step by step and walked me through each moment as he completed the transfer. Happy to report we are currently pregnant and progressing nicely with a healthy pregnancy. Dr. Traub also removed endometriosis via laparoscopic surgery. Once again Dr. Traub explained everything every step of the way and was very compassionate with my husband after the procedure.

They were very easy and simple to make. Each time I went for blood work on the morning I completed a Sono if needed. The best part about doing them back to back was that the hours they did this were before work so I didn’t miss a day of work or have to leave early.

Approximately $6,000 out of pocket. That includes all medications, copays for procedures (including the IVF process), and all blood work and sonogram copays.

Dr Traub was very understanding and always ready to answer any and every question I’ve had. He was awesome and I couldn’t have asked for a better Doctor me and my husband are very thankful to him for giving us the opportunity to become parents.

Be ready to be told the truth, dr Traub will not sugar coat anything.

With dr Traub once we tried something that didn’t work he was always ready to try something else. We were always hands on and were willing to do what it takes to get the job done correctly and efficiently.

Dr Traub only does single embryo transfers

Dr. Traub was very helpful and knowledgeable from the first meeting and made me feel like he will be able to answer our prayers of having children after 2 miscarriages. We now have one healthy 1 year old boy and another on the way. Hewas always eager to go over the full process and we couldn't have had a better experience.

Don't let the young face fool you! He is very knowledgeable.

Knowing that I had poor egg quality, Dr. Traub aimed to have my eggs retrieved and genetically tested.

My treatments were mostly covered by my insurance other then the genetic testing of the embryos.

Dr Traub is an amazing Doctor, I can’t imagine for more professional, caring and hard working care specialist. He performed a quite complex surgery for me to take care of my medical issues ,which went perfectly well, I recovered fast. and after the IVF treatment I became pregnant. All thanks to the exceptional care and attention of Doctor Traub. I’m very thankful for all his care and hard work.

Advice if you don’t feel like you trust your present doctor, do not hesitate and go to Doctor Traub, you will see the difference from your first visit. Don’t waste your time with inexperienced doctors , go to the one, who knows what he is doing!

My Insurance covered all the treatment costs. I only paid co payment for IVF - $2500 and few co payments of $40 for the ultrasound and blood work visits.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Traub. I had such a positive experience, I went back a second time after a successful pregnancy through IUI. Dr. Traub understood how important growing our family was. He worked with us to explain our options and choose the option that was best for us. He answered all questions and always made me feel at ease throughout the entire process.

I would recommend going to Dr. Traub for help with fertility issues. It may take a little bit of time to get answers or to begin treatment, but it will be well worth it in the end. He will not steer you wrong - he always has his patients' best interests mind.

Dr. Traub recommended IUI with medication. I took Letrozole and a trigger shot before each IUI. After both IUI's I was prescribed progesterone based on my monitoring bloodwork.

I only paid copays for my visits for bloodwork, monitoring, procedures and OB visits. I also paid copays for prescriptions.

My situation was particularly difficult but I am so grateful that I did not give up on Dr. Traub and that he also did not give up on us. We have had success and our dream has come true because of him. I would recommend Dr. Traub to anyone!

Ask questions to clarify or challenge anything you don't understand- don't be afraid to advocate for yourself.

Luckily my insurance covered many of my treatments with a smaller out-of-pocket expense.

Dr. Traub made us feel comfortable and confident right away. Within a month we had a diagnosis and a plan to move forward. Dr. Traub was available via email any time day or night and responded so quickly. He always answered questions, explained things in a way we understood and set realistic expectations for us.

I have been seeing Dr Traub for 10 years due to endometriosis. I just recently became pregnant with his help through IUI. I have never had a bad experience with Dr. Traub, even when the results were not what I hoped for.

I have already recommended him to a close friend with similar fertility issues. He is the best there is.

My copay was always $30 for the visit and $20 for bloodwork

I trusted him and the best thing was that he made a change every unsuccessful cycle so I didn't feel like he was just going through the motions. He was responsive when I emailed him and didn't rush me when i had questions.

don't expect warm and fuzzy, but he is kind and cares.

Tried letrozole, then clomid. had an hsg and shg to confirm tubes were not blocked and no scarring on the uterus.
