Dr. Thakur is very kind, gentle and confident. When our first transfer was unsuccessful she very thoughtfully came up with a new treatment plan that made sense for my condition. She reached out after our second transfer to extend her sympathy and already had an idea of what our next steps would be. She’s never forced us into procedures we weren’t comfortable with and always takes the time to listen and answer our questions
I am overall happy with The Fertility Center. I go to one of their remote offices and so I do feel like I am forgotten a little or have to overcompensate to make sure that my appointments are scheduled in the correct office, I also am at the mercy of their schedule, and if I need a last minute appointment is is harder to get in at a time that is flexible with my work schedule..
How was your experience with Mili Thakur at The Fertility Center of Michigan?
Dr. Thakur is very kind, gentle and confident. When our first transfer was unsuccessful she very thoughtfully came up with a new treatment plan that made sense for my condition. She reached out after our second transfer to extend her sympathy and already had an idea of what our next steps would be. She’s never forced us into procedures we weren’t comfortable with and always takes the time to listen and answer our questions. She is concerned with my wellbeing as a whole, not just my fertility.

Describe the protocols Mili Thakur used in your cycles at The Fertility Center of Michigan and their degree of success.
For our first transfer we did a long lupron protocol with PIO. For my second transfer, we did a Femara cycle with progesterone suppositories as I have PCOS and I responded very well. Unfortunately, both were not successful.
Describe your experience with the nursing staff at The Fertility Center of Michigan.
Overall the nurses are very helpful and responsive. They do their best to make sure you are not waiting on them, some things, like insurance authorizations are out of their control. I did not have any issues with them being rude. Because I went to the remote office I did not interact with them face to face very often so I haven’t developed a strong relationship with any of them.
Describe your experience with The Fertility Center of Michigan.
I am overall happy with The Fertility Center. I have had only minor issues with billing (my husband and I are separate accounts so money can get applied to the wrong account). I do not have any major issues with the clinic, but I also have not received outstanding service, just a what I expect.

What specific things went wrong at The Fertility Center of Michigan?
- Failed to call with results
Describe the specific things that went wrong at The Fertility Center of Michigan.
I was scheduled for the wrong office for an appointment before an IUI, which then had to be cancelled. Also, I didn’t get a call back with blood results until the next day - this is also due to the fact that I go to a remote office as the bloodwork is done by a third party.
