Dr. Gindoff is very honest and candid about the fertility industry and procedures...never out to "rip you off" and was very blunt about my AMH and not in a fear-mongering way...30 years of experience and uses science to back everything up...I appreciate that he didn't want to use drugs initially and we agreed we would change the protocol if we didn't have success...asked him about certain supplements and he's told me that the supplements I've mentioned won't hurt me, but that there isn't any credible studies to back them up. We appreciate the realness.
The nursing staff [at Chelsea Fertility of NYC] can seem a little flustered at times, but never without a smile. They take the time to really explain things to you. I also commend them on their blood draws - I've never had a painful experience with a blood draw from any of the nursing staff. With as many times as you will get poked, this was a big deal for me...small waiting area and sometimes a small wait to be seen.
How was your experience with Paul Gindoff at Chelsea Fertility of NYC?
Dr. Gindoff is very honest and candid about the fertility industry and procedures. He is never out to "rip you off" and was very blunt about my AMH and not in a fear-mongering way. My husband and I appreciate that he has around 30 years of experience and uses science to back everything up. I've asked him about certain supplements and he's told me that the supplements I've mentioned won't hurt me, but that there isn't any credible studies to back them up. We appreciate the realness.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Paul Gindoff at Chelsea Fertility of NYC?
Dr. Gindoff is very candid and trustworthy. He uses science and his years of teaching to back everything he does. Come to your appointments with a list of questions and he will answer them all thoroughly with no sugar coating, which is what you absolutely need during this tough time in your life.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Paul Gindoff at Chelsea Fertility of NYC?
I felt like a human with Dr. Gindoff because he always took his time and explained things to me in a thoughtful manner. I never felt rushed, and he had even extended our meeting time to ensure all of my questions were answered. The staff is always warm and welcoming when you arrive.
Describe the protocols Paul Gindoff used in your cycles at Chelsea Fertility of NYC and their degree of success.
We did an IUI cycle without drugs to increase follicles for our first treatment since I ovulate on my own every month. We triggered with Ovidrel once my follicle was big enough and inseminated the day after trigger. I appreciate that he didn't want to use drugs initially and we agreed we would change the protocol if we didn't have success.

Describe your experience with Chelsea Fertility of NYC.
The strengths of the clinic are the staff and Dr. Gindoff. The weakness is perhaps the small waiting area and sometimes a small wait to be seen. The waiting area is a non-issue for me because I feel like I am in great hands with Dr. Gindoff and his nurses.
Describe the costs associated with your care under Paul Gindoff at Chelsea Fertility of NYC.
My IUI was covered by my insurance and I had a copay of less than $50. The sperm analysis was not covered by insurance and it was under $200. HSG had to be done off-site and insurance covered all but $800 of that test.
Describe Paul Gindoff's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at Chelsea Fertility of NYC.
I don't have any comments because we have not done IVF, yet.
