Do not be scared to ask questions even if you think they are silly. Dr. Parry will tell you to ask away, no matter the question, and do not despair when things are not going as planned. You are in the best, most capable hands at positive steps fertility clinic.

During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Preston Parry at Positive Steps Fertility?

DR. Parry and his staff are very compassionate. I have never doubted their understanding of how complicated and painful fertility treatment can be. I know that dr. Parry sees hundreds of patients and not once have I ever felt rushed or unimportant while I have been treated at this clinic. He and his nurses take their time to explain the treatment and any questions or concerns I may have.

Describe the protocols Preston Parry used in your cycles at Positive Steps Fertility and their degree of success.

Dr. Parry started me on 12.5 mg of letrozole, a very high dose, as I was unresponsive to clomid and lower doses of letrozole. My follicles were slow to develop so I usually continued letrozole up to 12 days. This did the trick and I usually was close to ovulation around cycle day 19 when I would then do hcg trigger shot and iui 36 hours later. I have done 3 iui’s which did not result in pregnancy and plan on doing 3 more in the next few months before doing ivf.

The nursing staff always kind and friendly and are able to answer questions whenever dr. Parry is unavailable. The lines of communication at this clinic are always open and I have never had to wait long for a response.

He will explain things to you so you can understand it and guides me as he would his own wife...he is very warm and understanding...he did a scope of my uterus and shot air bubbles to go through my uterus and they would not go through. He also found live infection in my uterus. He gave me antibiotics to treat it. We used my wife’s eggs because she had a much higher egg count than I did. We started the shots during the summer. They retrieved her eggs in July. We did our first transfer following that with me carrying. We had a negative.

The clinic [Positive Steps Fertility] is amazing. No weaknesses. Everyone there is so kind and loving. Everyone there has the same mission and that is to help everyone have a family. The ladies at the front desk are precious, the nurses are so sweet and helpful...She [nurse] has always called me back, text me back, no matter that day I contacted her. He cares about my family and myself. We have the same goals. We feel like part of his family.

Describe the protocols Preston Parry used in your cycles at Positive Steps Fertility and their degree of success.

In December 2016, I had surgery to have endometriosis removed. My OBGYN did the surgery and tested my tubes by shooting dye through them and they were both blocked. She believed it was due to a muscle spasm, but still referred me to Dr. Parry. We went in April 2018, he did a scope of my uterus and shot air bubbles to go through my uterus and they would not go through. He also found live infection in my uterus. He gave me antibiotics to treat it. We used my wife’s eggs because she had a much higher egg count than I did. We started the shots during the summer. They retrieved her eggs in July. We did our first transfer following that with me carrying. We had a negative. I had a period and we started over. We did another transfer and got another fail. At that we had our remaining eggs PGS tested and I had another scope done in my uterus. He found more polyps and inflammation. In November 18 I had a surgery to clean out my uterus. I had a transfer on January 21st and now in the two week wait.

I am still going through treatments (lots of stuff related to both me and my spouse) but he has used ultrasounds and the Parryscope and partners very well with outside clinics (like urologists and oncologists) for an entire treatment protocol. The next step will be standard birth control before we start IVF.

They were incredibly knowledgeable and patient. They treat you like the individual you are instead of just a patient going through infertility treatment. And so far, I haven't had a question they have not been able to answer.

He used letrozole for my iui medication. It took a couple of months to regulate to the dose that I needed because I was producing to many eggs. I would go in to check my eggs. Then use the trigger shot and return when they told me to.

I thought I was unable to have children due to my pcos, so dr Parry did the Parryscope and found out that everything looks normal, but we would have to consider iui due to male infertility. The parryscope was not painful unlike the hsg testing with the dye, as I reviewed before the parryscope.... My experience with Dr Parry was excellent. He gave us hope when others couldn’t. He is very understanding, great bed side manners, any questions asked he had an answer to everything. He made me feel important.There were no weaknesses in dr parry!

Cost for iui is 1000.00 for 3 inseminations, std testing was 320.00 that was including drs visit, and trigger shot is 100.00 [at Univ of Miss]... The clinic is organized, very clean. Many patients have had very successful stories. All testing can be done in office without having to go to a lab for any other testing. I have yet to find any weaknesses at the clinic.... Ask a lot of questions.

Letrozole 7.5mg taken on varying days of my cycle. We completed three cycles and took the meds on days 3-7 for the first cycle, then days 3-7 with additional meds on days 15-16 for cycle 2, then the final cycle was 7.5mg on days 1-6. Each cycle we used a trigger shot and completed IUI at approx. 36 hours after trigger.

There seems to be a little of a turn over on nursing staff. Most nurses are the same but there is 1-3 I haven’t seen again or are new every time I go. Generally majority of the nursing staff is very nice, informative of procedures when you are in office, answers questions and friendly.

Overall it is a great clinic. The front staff has always been friendly by phone or in office. When I misunderstood or had questions, the front staff has always took care of it right away. Nurses over all have been good, some may could work on their bedside manner but generally have been great. My calls are always return in a timely manner. Mask protocols always been enforced when needed. Security badging in and out of areas. Wait is not long at all. Longest wait time was maybe 2 hrs max. According to pricing other clinics, their prices seem lower in cost overall.

3IUIs-1400.00$. Additional ultrasound-175.00 per. 1000$ For scope. 150.00 initial consultation. 50.00 re established patient fee. Quoted 2500 for surgery to Remove polyps and block tube. Currently placed a 1000.00 deposit for IVF. IVF starts in May 2022.

Dr Parry never made us feel rushed during any visit even if it was just a blood draw, he would stop by the lab chair to chat and check in. We received his personal cell number to reach him before 10Pm if we had concerns or questions. We absolutely loved the Parryscope procedure he uses and that helped find an issue with the shape of my uterus we didn’t know about even after going to a different RE for 7 years and doing 4 IUIs and 1 Round of IVF with that previous doctor. He pays attention to all details and found I have a touch of Ashermanns syndrome resulting from scar tissue typically from multiple surgeries I had with the previous doctor (DNCs and Ectopic Pregnancy). Dr Party is very knowledgeable in this field and works to grow his knowledge continuously. We feel very confident in his abilities.

Bring a notebook to appts to jot down all the information you will gain. He answered questions we had before we could even ask them!

Describe the protocols Preston Parry used in your cycles at Positive Steps Fertility and their degree of success.

We decided to see Dr Parry as a2nd opinion after seeing another RE for many years and having several losses and surgeries. Dr Parry used the Parryscope to find scar tissue and an irregular shaped uterus. We scheduled and had a successful surgery to widen my uterus and repair the tissue as much as possible. We then scheduled IVF for a few months in the future (my decision to wait that long). We waited until my cycle started in March 2022 and began taking Estradiol before starting injections. I injected Menopur and Follistim each day and eventually added in Ganarelix we wanted to freeze all embryos. I was seen at his clinic for ultrasounds and blood work multiple times leading up to the egg retrieveal. We stopped injections 3 days before retrieval exvept the trigger shot 2 days prior. I had my egg retrieval today.

He explained exactly what was going to be done and made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. He told me he has done years of research on my exact issue and I felt very comfortable with him performing my surgery...My treatments and discussions with the doctor are always focused on me. He takes his time and explains everything in detail.

The strengths of this [Positive Steps Fertility] clinic is the staff, their knowledge, and the cleanliness of the clinic. It is always immaculately clean and I feel very comfortable. It is a quite and peaceful environment when you go in for your appointments. They have drinks and snacks out for the patients. It is decorated nice and calmy...The Perryscope cost was $1,000 Uterus surgery was $3,500 3 IUI procedures is $1,400 Any extra ultrasounds are $250

Dr. Parry first did the Perryscope procedure to diagnose any female fertility issues. I had to have a polypectomy procedure as well as surgery to remove a septum from my uterus. This was to get my uterus ready/safe to conceive. I took letrazole for 2 cycles and took a trigger shot to induce ovulation so we could go through the IUI process.

There was only one issue I had with the clinic. My husband was to be referred to a urologist and they were to send his referral and information to the urologist. We were told it would take about 2 weeks to hear from the urologist. After about 4 weeks I called Positive Steps to see what was going on. The nurse that answered told me they failed to send his referral in. She was very apologetic and I truly believe it was just human error.

We have used letrozole for every cycle, and every time we have had to bump up the dose because my ovaries are suppressed. I asked about starting metformin because my cycles are still extremely irregular and was blown off.

Our visits were very personalized. We felt very comfortable and welcomed at every visit. Dr.Parry and Staff were very willing to answer any questions or concerns we had and were so accommodating to our needs. We were on a first name basis and felt more like family than a patient. We were really just blown away by their kindness.

Honestly this was a few years ago and I can’t specifically remember. We did the Parry Scope first which should the polyps in my uterus and slow to not much flow into my left tube. I had a procedure to remove the polyps and began birth control to regulate my cycle. We waited a month I believe and I began oral medicine and a trigger shot during ovulation. I had a negative pregnancy test on my first IUI so we adjusted my IUI date for my 2nd cycle and it resulted in the birth of my daughter. Dr.Parry was very precise in the timing for everything when it came to the medication and IUI treatment.

On the days, I needed encouragement, which was nearly everyday I had an appointment, they were there, made me smile and uplifted my spirit. They didn’t only do this with me but with all patients. I got to watch them celebrate with a family who brought their newborn by to visit. It was so touching to see how happy they were for them and their new addition. They’re simply the best!

Positive Steps Fertility has a welcoming atmosphere with supportive and knowledgeable staff who provide excellent service to the patients they serve. From the moment that you walk in the door, it’s as though a weight has been lifted because the space is inviting and relaxing. Patients are immediately greeted by Mrs. Tracy who quickly notifies staff of your arrival. Nurses and other staff members are professional and efficiently take care of patients as they undergo the treatment process. They are open to inquiries and make themselves available to accommodate each individual’s needs; one nurse even gave her personal phone number in case we had questions regarding the process of giving an HCG shot. As for weaknesses, I can think of none.

Dr. Parry and his staff are wonderful and genuinely show care and concern and positiveness towards me. I honestly believe they want me to become pregnant just as much as I do!

Describe the protocols Preston Parry used in your cycles at Positive Steps Fertility and their degree of success.

Did 3 IUI's with sperm donor. Would start each month out on the 2nd or 3rd day of my cycle taking Letrozole through day 7 or 8 of my cycle. Would go in on day 10 or 11 and get and ultrasound of follicles so they could measure the size and quantity of them. The follicles would always be a good size and ready for my trigger shot, so they'd give my trigger shot that day. The following day, I would come back to get the IUI. Each month, they stated my body and follicles responded to the medication very well and were good sizes (size 17 to 21). The 1st month I had 2 good size follicles (size 21). The 2nd month I had only 2 follicles, but only 1 good size. (size 7 and size 21.) The 3rd month I had 2 good sized follicles (size 17.5 and size 21).

Brittney was 1st assigned to me, but she was out on maternity leave shortly after I started, so they reassigned Vikki to me. Both were very loving and caring and knowledgeable. Vikki did our first IUI because Dr. parry was out of town.

The Clinic is Positive Steps Fertility in Madison, MS with Dr. Preston Parry. The clinic was not listed on this review site, but the doctor was. I was disappointed that the clinic did not take Care Credit. Fertility treatments are major expensive and not covered by insurance in the state of MS. It's hard to come up with expenses up front and Care Credit would be a great addition. Other than that, the clinic is great! Very up to date, latest technology, very clean and organized.
