Success w/ Doc Too early to know
Dr. Houpe is a regular OBGYN so I had lower expectations to begin with, however we decide to some initial treatment with her in order to save on costs. I feel that she is a great OBGYN, but does not have good experience with dealing with infertility and it was very difficult to get answers about things due to not being able to talk with her directly. I had to direct most of my care with her and ask for any changes or to try something different.
Communication about the next steps was never good, and they [Circle of Life Women's Center] failed to do follicle checks, I finally requested a follicle check and at that time they found endometriomas and we had to completely change the course of treatment. I feel these would have been found sooner if they had done the appropriate tests... they are not specialists and if things are not working you should move on to someone more qualified quickly.

I do feel that she treated me well while I was with her, but some of the staff were less kind and more difficult to work with.
Describe your experience with the nursing staff at Circle of Life Women's Center.
Some of the nurses were very helpful and communicated very well, but others were unkind and had no empathy for someone dealing g with infertility, again this clinic is not infertility based so I think that is a factor.
Describe your experience with Circle of Life Women's Center.
Their biggest strength is to provide some of the initial treatments at a much lower cost than an official infertility clinic. However, they are not specialists and if things are not working you should move on to someone more qualified quickly.
