We agreed about the singular transfer of embryos, Dr Hutchison is very ethical in his practice. ... Dr. Hutchinson took my concerns into consideration, offered to change treatment based on my research and preferences. His only fault, was he did not suggest IVF sooner and was a bit too optimistic about the many IUI cycles I tried. ... Questions answered thoroughly, thoughtful bedside manner.
A transparent explanation of cost based on insurance was sometimes hard to get [from Reproductive Health Center] and required multiple inquiries. It wasn't hard to get an appointment and they worked with my schedule. The nurses are nice, the axillary staff is sweet. Dr Hutchinson is very informed and being a little too hands off in treatment course is the only critique I have of my care. I would have moved from Iui to Ivf sooner in hindsight. Really compassionate team there though, very grateful.

The nurses are nice, the axillary staff is sweet. Dr Hutchinson is very informed and being a little too hands off in treatment course is the only critique I have of my care. I would have moved from Iui to Ivf sooner in hindsight. Really compassionate team there though, very grateful.

Costs for cash pay price patients are very accessible, insurance was trickier and harder to gauge... but that's also just the way insurance works in the US.

He [Dr. Hutchison] took time to get to know me and what my expectations were...What I appreciated most was his honesty and forthrightness about expected results. He told me we could try three IUIs and that any more than that would not (statistically) yield positive results. Be willing to listen to his advice. He cares deeply about his patients and the welfare of the child they hope to carry. While the woman is his patient on paper, his concern is also with the baby. If you hate salmon (like I do), but he tells you the benefits of eating salmon both before and during pregnancy, be willing to try it.

We did two months with just the diet changes and metformin but on the third cycle we added IUI...He specialized my care to who I was not just what was causing my infertility. My husband and I are medical professionals and he gave us valuable information about research through medical journals.

He gave me a lot of details and information about what his recommendations/diagnoses were based on, which I found helpful, especially since they were not the same as my previous doctor's....I also appreciated that he gave me a range of possible interventions, from less to more aggressive, rather than jumping straight to invasive procedures....Dr. Hutchison seemed interested in who I was as a person, beyond my medical needs, and remembered what I had told him in subsequent appointments.
One of the things that I liked about this clinic was that it was relatively small, and that seemed to facilitate communication between people in different roles. I also like that I was able to get my blood drawn at a lab location more convenient to my house.... Dr. Hutchison seemed interested in who I was as a person, beyond my medical needs, and remembered what I had told him in subsequent appointments. He also personally called me on several occasions.

[Dr Scot Hutchison was] very informative. Didn't push me to move on to IVF at anytime and allowed me to make all decisions regarding my care without being pushy. He was always honest and didn't push me to spend money on injectables when I didn't need them. I had a wonderful experience at his office and will be returning when I am ready to try for my second child
I paid about 340 per try for insemination, ultrasound and the trigger shot....I always got seen when my appt was scheduled and never had to wait. I was always in and out of the clinic quickly. They answers all my questions when I would call. Very professional....He allowed me to try my first iui without medication. For try number 2 and 3 we used clomid. When those didn't work we used Famera for try 4 and 5 and I got pregnant on my 5th try if iui!

After my second miscarriage Dr. Hutchinson ran some blood work that determined I would need a blood thinner. When I asked him if there was anything else I could try he provided me information on a human growth shot....Dr. Hutchinson was very pleasant and patient with us answering all our question and making us feel very comfortable with each decision.

I got my blood drawn- after that, they came up with my med prescription. At that time, we then ordered the meds (and they let me order form IVFMeds.com) which saved me a lot of money- and then began ultrasounds

Medication/Stims are very important!!! Make sure you explore all your options. Apply for help or go To Mexico to get the best rate! This will bring your medication cost. You will save thousands of dollars.

I have complete faith in Dr. Hutchison and his incredible team and cannot imagine going through our IVF journey with any other doctor and team. I truly feel like family.... They have really made me feel like their family. I truly believe they want more than anything for my husband and I to have a baby and they are by our side thru this fight all the way thru until we have our little family. I couldn’t feel more positive about our decision to have him and his team as our fertility squad.
The clinics [Reproductive Health Center-Tucson] atomisphere is very inviting and comfortable. Also it is surgically clean which makes me feel extra comfortable. :) the location is convenient and when you arrive, everyone makes you feel at ease and at home.... They [the nursing staff] are sunshine and so easy to talk to and be open with. I always feel extremely comfortable with each and every one of them.

The clinic is clean and provides a pleasant environment. I do not recall any loud or distracting music or noise. There were plenty of interesting reading material to view while waiting. Most of the discussion was in the doctor's office, which was nice as compared to the treatment rooms. It was not crowded or too busy and it was small enough and did not look like a hospital so as to feel comfortable.

Dr Hutchison is so warm and kind. I felt like he cared about me and my family. He asked questions about me and my husband and wanted to get to know us.

I am still in the middle of treatment, so I can’t speak on results yet; however, he ordered blood work and determined that my thyroid was low. He called me and explained the importance of my thyroid in fertility and in life. He prescribed medication, had me take it for a month and then ordered another blood test to check my thyroid again. My levels were better, but not quite where he wants them, so he adjusted my medication and will check my thyroid in a few weeks.

I’m still in the middle of treatment, so I’ve only received one bill. My insurance covered a portion and my portion was approximately $250. It was for my initial exam.
