Dr. Klenov wants us to try for 3 embryos due to my age...I have PCOS, so while my ovarian reserve is high, due to my age the quality is not great. Dr. Klenov explained how this was beneficial in that we would be able to retrieve more due to this...We are in the process now of another retrieval cycle and they have adjusted to add the medication Omnitrope and the OTC COq10 to help with oocyte quality...
[the Vios Fertility nurse] is very responsive and communicates with us about any issues we have...The only negative I could even say has to do with the financial department. They are slow to respond and dont seem to have great communication with the actual clinic side...Medication for egg retrieval was about $16,000. The retrieval itself was another $16,000. PGT was $200 per egg and lab fees and shipping was $1200
How was your experience with Violet Klenov at Kindbody (formerly Vios Fertility Institute)?
She is one of the nicest and compassionate doctors I have ever had. It was a complete 180 from my previous fertility experience with another doctor. I am so glad I made the change and would recommend anyone even thinking of going here to make the decision.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Violet Klenov at Kindbody (formerly Vios Fertility Institute)?
Be up front with your fears and concerns. She is excellent about helping you work through them.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Violet Klenov at Kindbody (formerly Vios Fertility Institute)?
Everyone at the clinic is extremely caring and friendly. When I had to go under anesthesia they played my favorite music, and Dr. Klenov held my had as I went under.
Describe the protocols Violet Klenov used in your cycles at Kindbody (formerly Vios Fertility Institute) and their degree of success.
I have PCOS, so while my ovarian reserve is high, due to my age the quality is not great. Dr. Klenov explained how this was beneficial in that we would be able to retrieve more due to this. I was on Gonal-F for 2 weeks and Menopur for 2 weeks. I started Cetrotide 4 days in for 10 days and finished it all with a trigger shot of Lupron twice. Upon retrieval they were able to get 35 eggs. Of those, 24 fertilized. Of the 24, 12 started developing, but 7 had dark cytoplasm due to being over mature. 5 made it to day 3, but only 2 made it to the end. We were recommended to do PGT testing due to my age, 41. They found one showed trisomy 13, which would have resulted in a miscarriage. The last embryo is currently cryostored. We are in the process now of another retrieval cycle and they have adjusted to add the medication Omnitrope and the OTC COq10 to help with oocyte quality. We hope to get at least a couple more euploid embryos due to this. We cried over each little baby lost in the process, but are happy to have our one little embryo so far. Dr. Klenov and Alex have been nothing but amazing.
Describe your experience with your nurse at Kindbody (formerly Vios Fertility Institute). (Assigned nurse: Alex)
Alex has been great. She is very responsive and communicates with us about any issues we have. We bother her way too much with questions and she is always happy to answer them. When we lost all but 1 embryo she was extremely compassionate about the situation and showed amazing empathy.
Describe your experience with Kindbody (formerly Vios Fertility Institute).
The nursing team and the doctors are all amazing. Dr Purdee did our egg retrieval and was very friendly and welcoming. The only negative I could even say has to do with the financial department. They are slow to respond and dont seem to have great communication with the actual clinic side. The nurse team had all my insurance set up and perfect, while the financial team woild take weeks to answer questions, not respond, or send generic responses with billing quotes that did not apply to me.
Describe the costs associated with your care under Violet Klenov at Kindbody (formerly Vios Fertility Institute).
Medication for egg retrieval was about $16,000. The retrieval itself was another $16,000. PGT was $200 per egg and lab fees and shipping was $1200. All but the PGT, lab fees, and shipping was covered by my insurance.
Describe Violet Klenov's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at Kindbody (formerly Vios Fertility Institute).
Dr. Klenov wants us to try for 3 embryos due to my age. We were told with 3 euploid embryos we would have around a 90% chance of sucessful implantation of at least 1.

Dr. Klenov met with us to discuss our situation and answered all questions we had. She has been there for us every step of the way. We have been able to log on to a portal and submit questions to her and her responses are timely and thorough. We have felt comfortable asking her anything we need and she takes the time to explain anything to us...At this point, my wife and I have had our initial consult, lab work, genetics testing, semen analysis and other testing. We had our follow up appointment...We hope to have our embryos frozen for a later insertion...
Our overall experience with VIOS and Dr. Klenov has been great. The subject of infertility and IVF (in our case) is a sensitive subject - it could be easy to get overwhelmed. My wife an I have left our appointments excited instead of nervous or intimidated. My wife and I did have a customer service experience incident with the front desk, but we were very satisfied with how the situation was handled when we brought it up with VIOS. Dr. Klenov took a personal approach by reaching out and discussing the incident with us directly and helped us seek restitution for our experience. We are thankful she is out doctor.

Describe your experience with the nursing staff at Kindbody (formerly Vios Fertility Institute).
The nurses so far have been very compassionate and comforting.
Describe your experience with Kindbody (formerly Vios Fertility Institute).
Fertility can be a sensitive, overwhelming subject. VIOS does a great job overall of making sure you are accommodated and comfortable. We did have one negative experience with the front desk, but when we shared with VIOS, they took immediate action and we felt they handled the situation properly. We also felt confident that the isolated experience we had with one individual was not reflective of VIOS.
Describe the costs associated with your care under Violet Klenov at Kindbody (formerly Vios Fertility Institute).
Our health insurance is covering testing and medications, but not the IVF procedure itself. Our overall procedure cost will be $12,500 we were told.

Dr. Klenov is an excellent listener. She is very thorough and patient. She explains each step of the treatment process and listens to all of your concerns...cares about not only your fertility wellness but your wellness as a person. She wants to make sure that you are emotionally and mentally well during the treatment process. I can't think of any weaknesses. I would recommend her to anyone experience infertility.
Erica [nurse at Vios Fertility Institute] was very compassionate. She responded to all of my messages in a timely manner and made sure that I understood all instructions...Everyone that I have encountered at this clinic is awesome including the lab workers, front desk, ultrasound techs, nurses and doctors. The only thing I would want to see changed is the availability for later appointments due to my schedule.

I have not discussed this with my doctor yet, because I am waiting to do an egg retrieval.

Dr. Klenov was very helpful and thorough with my appointments. She made sure to explain steps and risks of everything along with options. I felt very comfortable under her care. She made sure her staff reached out and scheduled appointments in a timely manner as well as making sure prescriptions were filled ect.
I never had an issue to discuss weaknesses [of Vios Fertility] they are great at communication. If there were ever a time I wouldn’t get a refill in time they went above and beyond to get it expedited. I always had what I needed and knew exactly what I was doing...They were very thorough in explaining everything through out the process and followed up with everything
