I felt that this doctor [Dr. Johnson] took a personal interest in my case, calling me personally and addressing issues. However this doctor did not display a sense of urgency or timeliness about my treatments, so I eventually left this clinic....I felt like a human when this doctor called me personally...The treatment strategies used were appropriate but they did not take a proactive role in managing our care....
This clinic [AZ Assoc Repro Health] appears at first to give quality service, but on subsequent visits I heard the office staff making derisive comments about clients who were calling in, saying there being irrational or hysterical. Dr. Patel is a very busy man, because he is so good at what he does. He often was short and consise with what he was saying, but whenever i had further questions, he did take the time to answer them.... At first I struggled with him because he is not very emotional, however once I realized how knowledgeable he was, that no longer mattered to me. We had several setbacks due to my bodies response to the medicines, and i appareciated his honesty and the way he led us thru that time.
I enjoyed the clinic [AZ Associates for Reproductive Health-Scottsdale]. They were very organized, clean, and welcoming. I felt comfortable whenever I was there and trusted that they were handling everything correctly. I appreciated that they worked with an acupuncturist and allowed him to be present the day is the transfer.... The nurses were amazing and compassionate and made up for Dr. Patel’s missing emotion and compassion throughout the process. They really complemented each other.

Dr Patel is a straight shooter, but is extremely compassionate and empathetic. He also took us seriously and didn’t down play our situation, The fact that he does all of his own ultrasounds and procedures is incredible and not the norm. We felt so lucky to be in his care. We just delivered a healthy baby boy in November thanks to him and we will not be hesitating to make an appt when we are ready to start trying for a second child.

Don’t get caught up in wanting the warm and fuzzies from Dr Patel. He’s who you want as your fertility doctor!

Dr. Patel is honest but doesn't really offer additional information. I always felt that I needed write down my questions so that I could get them in as quickly as possible. I don't feel like I have a good understanding of my fertility diagnosis (still) and don't feel as though my treatment was tailored to my personal needs....I asked about doing two and he told you don't get a BOGO. He explained that doing just one has better odds...I had two IVF protocols (both 7 days of stims) with daily 75 IU Menopur, between 200 - 300 units Gonal-F, Cetrotide on the first cycle and Ganirelix on the second starting day 5, Lupron trigger and Pregnyl for first cycle, just Lupron trigger for the second. Dexamethasone during stim meds and doxycycline after the retrieval.

Strength, they have a flexible schedule that I was able to work with. The [Arizona Associates for Reproductive Health] location was good for me. But Dr. Patel is not warm often, so that can be hard for people. He is very direct and matter of fact. I liked him, but I can see how that would be hard for people...$1k for each IUI. Cost around $5k for all my testing.

Dr. Patel clinic is very organized and polite. They always have a smile and are always helpful and if i need questions answered they are always ready to help. During the Covind-19 Pandemic they where always professional and informed us in time if we needed to wear mask.

He was always friendly, but the descriptions and explanation of our test results was somewhat lacking a personal touch...Ask a lot of questions and don't be put off by the lack of a personal connection...We were successful so I can say that our procedures were done correctly, which we are very happy about.
