I felt very comfortable, relaxed with her. I have diminished ovarian reserve and she was very clear about the expectations. Each time, I felt very well-guided, and that there were no surprises ahead. Plus, she is just a very pleasant and nice person.

I have Stork Fertility so the cycle was covered through insurance.

She is straight forward. She explains and she tells you what is best but still allows you to make the choice. She was always avilable or someone on the team was to answer any questions I had. I would recommend Dr Skillern. However my first transfer did result in pregnancy. I felt horrible and questioned myself but after meeting with the Dr she made me feel its not my fault and even put her own personal story out there.

She will be honest and straight forward.

Dr. Kelley listened to the difficulties we were going through. She evaluated my old records and paid attention to the details. She discussed what treatment options were available and the risks/benefits of each and success rate of each. We felt like we had a clear plan and knew what to expect. Luckily for us, it only took one cycle of Femara for us to become pregnant and have our healthy daughter!

Femara 5 mg Day 3-7, with ultrasound monitoring, and then HCG trigger shot and timed intercourse.

I had emergency surgery due to an ectopic pregnancy, she personally checked on me and called. It was such a difficult moment, yet I couldn't have asked for better care and support. We met to discuss how I felt and come up with a future plan.

We feel incredibly lucky to have seen Dr. Prokai through this process. Unexplained infertility is both a good and bad thing - good because nothing is wrong, bad because nothing is wrong (and still nothing is happening!). It can be very confusing, isolating and sad. Dr. Prokai balanced empathy and optimism with educating us and presenting the facts. He always took the time to answer our questions thoroughly and patiently. On my first visit I mentioned how I hated getting blood drawn - he stayed back while the nurses did this and just chatted with me to distract me. I knew then that he would be different. All of our fears going into this process were quickly alleviated- we trusted in Dr. Prokai and his plan - he didn't let us down. Now we are pregnant with our baby boy and couldn't be happier! While we hope we don't have to go through this again, we would in a heartbeat knowing Dr. Prokai is on our team.

Trust him, be honest and communicate! He will always give you the time if you need it- so don't shy away from it.

First round IUI - Clomid with Ovidrel. We noticed this caused my lining to be a bit thin. Because of this we changed strategies for the second round. Second round IUI - Letrozole with Ovidrel and Progesterone supplements. Success!

We were lucky enough to have Progyny as a fertility benefit which covered most of the costs associated with Dr. Prokai's care.
