Dr. Ulrich treated me like a himan, and also explained the why behind her decisions and recommendations. She sometimes performed the ultrasounds herself during stimulation and called personally to talk through options after disappointing results.

Not specifically for Dr Ulrich, but for any fertility clinic - do some research before you go in and understand what questions to ask your whole care tea.

My first IVF cycle was 225 follistim and i cant recall the menopur dosage, but i started that 4 days into my cycle. I had one IUI cycle previously at another clinic, amd given my response and age we started with the higher dose. 6 eggs retrieved, 6 fertilized, 1 day 5 blastocyst ( high mosaic) 2nd IVF cycle: 225 follistom. max dose menopur and she added in Omnitrope (growth hormone). 8 eggs retrieved, 5 fertilized, 1 day 5 blastocyst, Abnormal. 3rd IVF cycle: same protocol as 2nd - could not add additional meds. 6 eggs retreived, 5 fertilized, 1 blastocyst, Abnormal 4th IVF cycle: same protocol as 2nd and 3rd, 6 eggs retrieved, 5 fertilized, 2 day five blastocysts, both abnormal Donor Embryo Transfer (Dr. Wells) : Estrogen (2mg) 3 orally, 2 vaginally daily for almost 30 days before transfer. Progesterone shots (1ml) intramuscularly 5 days before transfer. continued progesterone and esteogen until 10 week ultrasound and goodbye appt. currently 19 weeks pregnant

Medications were costly given dosage. with the addition of Omnitrope, it was roughly 5k. the retrieval clinic fees and anesthesia fees were about $2k, and an additional 2kish for the retrieval. about 4k for dr and nuraing fees during cycle

With the donor embryos, we ended up in a situation where the strongest embryo on paper was damaged at the originating clinic during freezing. Dr. Wells made the recommendation, based on the quality of that embryo and the on paper quality of the 2nd embryo to thaw and transfer both. she was very clear on the risks, amd only made the rec based on the quality and what she believed would give me the best chance at conception. it worked, and i am expecting one child.

Dr. Wells is incredible. She’s patient, kind hearted, clearly brilliant, and has great instincts. Honestly cannot imagine going to any other RE in Louisiana. I trust her wholeheartedly. She got us pregnant on our very first transfer. We could not be more thrilled with her.

She has a wealth of knowledge, and is willing to answer any and all questions you have. Do your research ahead of time and ask her everything you want to know. She will never leave you feeling left in the dark.

For egg retrievals, we first tried a birth control primed cycle with the standard antagonist protocol, but when it was clear my ovaries were over-suppressed by the birth control and not responding well to the antagonist protocol, we switched the next cycle to a no priming microdose lupron cycle, which worked out much better

I did a three retrieval package. I believe the total cost ended up being about $45,000, including medications, plus PGS and PGD fees at CooperGenomics (about another $10k), and a polyp removal surgery (about another $3,000 total), so about $58,000 in total for three egg retrievals, PGS and PGD for a very complex probe, a polypectomy, and one frozen embryo transfer

We did an elective frozen single embryo transfer, though Dr. Wells was open to discussing a multiple transfer, though she was clear about the risks of a multiples pregnancy and advised she did not recommend it

Dr. Ulrich was great from day one of our consultation. She explained everything very well for my husband and I to understand. Any questions we had she was able to answer for us. Not only is she very professional, but she is personable. I feel like she is always making the plan geared toward me and adjusts the plan as needed for what my body needs.

Be open ask questions. She doesn't make you feel like you should know something and will explain everything.

Due to me having PCOS she did all medicated IUI's. After the first failed IUI, she did a saline ultrasound she saw something so then did a procedure to go in and clean it out and removed a polyp ( I can't remember the name of this). She also gave me progesterone for the 2nd and 3rd to start the day after the IUI to try and help. I am currently in the IVF cycle and started with birth control and now am doing gonal f, menopure, and certrozide.

The costs of each IUI round was around $1,500. I am currently in the IVF cycles and am totaling around $16,000.

I asked about multiple transfers and she said she only does single transfers.

Dr. Ulrich is knowledgeable, caring, thoughtful and straightforward with critical information. She takes time to check in on patient well being at each visit and makes a point to make a personal connection during each visit. She’s extremely knowledgeable about her profession and explains the fertility process in an easy to understand way. She answers all questions honestly and thoroughly.

I would suggest being honest and asking questions.

After routine blood work and screenings, Dr. Ulrich first suggested I attempt IUI. After the third unsuccessful IUI, my husband and I showed an interest in starting IVF. Dr. Ulrich met with us and explained next steps. It was overwhelming to hear everything in one sitting, but she was patient with my emotions and questions. I always felt validated when visiting Audubon. I began treatment/medications to prepare for my egg retrieval. From here, we met with Dr. Ulrich regarding our remaining embryos post PGT. I was very discouraged with our only embryo’s rating, but Dr. Ulrich shared her professional opinion regarding the chance we had with a successful pregnancy if we decided to transfer this one embryo. It’s important to note that although Dr. Ulrich was positive, she was always honest and never gave us false hope. During our transfer, Dr. Ulrich took her time and explained the process to use step-by-step. Once pregnant, I felt so comforted to remain at Audubon and very sad to tell them goodbye.

I’m not quite sure of specific costs. The cost of fertility treatments is unfortunately extremely high in our country. This is not to blame Audubon/Dr. Ulrich.

Dr. Wells was always very kind and polite to me, and she is very knowledgable. As a single patient and a lesbian patient, I also really appreciate that she never questioned my choice to become a mother or made me feel out of place, which other reproductive healthcare providers have done to me and people I know. She is very trustworthy, and was able to help me with medical issues that popped up during treatment.

I started with unmedicated IUI based on tracking and ovulation testing, then we moved to medicated IUI cycles, and then to IVF with 5 day frozen embryos. The IUI cycles didn't work, but the IVF did — I have a beautiful baby boy and 3 additional embryos.

We were definitely both on the same page about single embryo transfer. She (and Dr. Ulrich) counseled me about the medical risks of multiples, especially high order multiples, given my medical circumstances. Additionally, they took into account my desire not to have multiples for personal and financial reasons.

My husband and I have gone to Audubon Fertility and seen Dr. Wells since 2014 and Because of her and her staff, we became parents in 2016. The staff there treated us like family, are extremely professional and empathetic to different situations. They were always available when I had questions or concerns, explained every process and procedure thoroughly, and made us feel at ease and always hopeful. I cannot say enough great things about this place! I've actually already recommended Dr. Wells to a couple people and both love Audubon as well!

Have patience and faith in the process bc Dr. Wells is 100% fully invested with your care and outcome

We had unexplained infertility so I had 3 rounds of medications by mouth with negative pregnancy results. Then moved on to doing 3 rounds of medications by mouth with injectables and IUI with negative pregnancy results. Next step was egg retrieval, and a day 5 frozen embryo transfer which resulted in first positive pregnancy test and live birth. She retrieved approx 24 eggs, and we chose to only fertilize 8. Of the 8, we had 7 fertilize and make it to day 5. We have transferred 6 so far. We had 3 live births, 2 miscarriages, and 1 failed transfer. We will transfer our last embryo in the next year.

We only always wanted to only transfer 1 every time and she never tried to convince us otherwise.

from our first visit it was clear that doctor wells was a good fit for us. I never felt rushed through my visits. She always listened to my questions and gave in depth answers. Im a very anxious person and she never made me feel bad for feeling anxious. She also laughed at my husband's jokes which I know he appreciated, haha.

Don't be afraid to take your time and ask every question you have. Also if you think of one after you leave send it to them in the portal. They are very good about responding to portal messages.

for our IUI we spent about 1200 per cycle. For IVF we spent about 17,000 with medications and an additional 5,000 for the optional pgs testing.

Our main apprehension with IVF was the chance of multiples but Dr. Wells assured us that our chances of success with a single embryo transfer were high so we trusted her and went with that approach.

Our experience has been exceptional. Dr. Wells has reassured us with the plan set to move forward with IVF. We had a miscarriage after our first transfer and was able to meet with Dr. Wells via telemedicine (due to COVID) to come up with a new plan of action. She is very supportive and compassionate. She listens to my husband and I on what our concerns on before setting out a plan and adjusts accordingly. It has been a very positive experience.

Relax and let Audubon take the burden off of your hands. With a Doctor and staff who are very hands on, you do not have to worry about a thing. They are always available to answer any questions or concerns you may have. Coming from a previous clinic where I felt like just another patient, Well's office is a breath of fresh air. We commuted from Lafayette to New Orleans (2.5 hrs) for each appointment (which was very frequent) and never was I disappointed. I always left knowing I was in good hands and had a team behind me working hard for our success.

Dr. Wells explained every part of the process to where I could understand what was going on. She was readily available if I had questions after appointments. She was very compassionate. She explained their success rates for each procedure before I made the decision to choose IVF. Once I chose IVF I then got an explanation of what would happen next, what supplements i needed to be on to improve chances, and a detailed calender of when everything would happen.

It takes a while for a new patient to get in with her. Its worth the wait!

Dr. Wells prescribed 375 Gonal F for 6 nights, gonal f 225 3 nights, Cetrotide 3 nights and then novarel on the second to last night

I cant remember exact numbers but the First appointment they sent in a nurse that explains everything and when it is due

Dr. Juneau has been amazing every time. In 2017, we originally went for a consultation. She explained everything in detail. She took my concerns seriously when my normal OBGYN did not. When we declined treatment at that time, she said she understood and that she will always be my doctor if I needed her. That statement honestly impressed me which is one of the reasons we went back. We have done a few cycles with her but had a few canceled and only 2 IUI. She is explained every cycle and the risks of continuing (overstimulation, polyp found, etc).

Instead of going in blind, do your research prior. It’s so helpful to understand what treatments are available and medications. Also look into your insurance and check to see if infertility is covered. That way you have an idea of what to expect

cycle #1 Sept 2019was done by the NP. We used femara 5mg for 5 days. Didn’t get a large follicle so she added follistim and checked my values. Turned out I was ovulating on my own so went in for IUI #1. Cycle #2 November 2019 we used the same femara but added follistim 50 for 3 days again. It was cancelled due to my lining being extra thick but I did have a massive follicle. Juneau was concerned that there was a reason (pregnancy or polyp) bloodwork showed negative pregnancy but the saline ultrasound showed a massive polyp. I Had surgery to remove polyp in Jan 2020. Cycle #3 February 2020 was the same protocol as before. This time I had 4-6 follicles from 13-16mm and she was concerned about multiples. We would not have reduced so cycle was canceled again. Cycle #4 March 2020 we used the same femara but no follistim. Only had one good follicle (>20mm) but we went ahead with IUI. I triggered that night but she called the next day saying I needed to come in due to ovulating on my own again. Pregnancy test was negative. We took the next cycle off due to traveling then Covid-19 happened. We haven’t started again.

The HSG was about 500-600. The saline ultrasound and polyp removal was covered under insurance (praise Jesus). The IUI I think is about 1200 which includes ultrasounds, exams, and bloodwork. The femara is super cheap. Follistim was free at first but the second one was $300. Triggers are $80

We saw Dr Well only once for our initial consult. She has a lovely manner, was very easy to listen and talk to and we liked that we were able to opt to start treatment the very next cycle. Though I feel as our diagnosis was unexplained infertility, the details of our history didn’t seem to be considered into digging into this a bit deeper and we weren’t given much information as to what unexplained really meant.

Go in knowing exactly what your goals are and have any questions ready to go.

I was put on a combination of letrozole (500mcg for 5 days), follistim (300iu) for 3 nights) ovidrel trigger shot (5000iu) to stimulate follicles and ovulate for my first IUI. I believe this was based on my age (35) and that one of my ovaries is diminished. My good ovary responded very well and I had several (4) mature follicles which was exactly what we were aiming for, so the dosage given was great. Everything went well for the procedure, my lining looked great and my husband’s sperm was good too so we were very disappointed when we found out I was not pregnant and we couldn’t really draw upon why, or what we could do different if we were to try again.

We recommend her to all our friends going through this struggle. She’s the best because she truly has walked the same struggle. Her compassion and understanding and patience is limitless. She in my opinion is the best fertility specialist in the state.

Don’t wait.. she understands everything from financial burden, to emotional, to physical. Take the last step you’ll never regret being under her care.

We tried everything from pills to injections but our final treatment that worked was Folistim with triggered ovulation and double IUIs.

Dr. Wells is thorough, honest, and compassionate. I always had complete confidence in her as a physician and appreciated her bedside manner. She shared enough about her struggle with infertility to let me know she understood what I was going through but always remained professional. She was honest even when telling me things I didn’t want to hear and provided me with all my options. She told me very early on that my best chance of having a baby was to use a donor egg but also supported my and my husband’s decision to try IUI first. When I was pregnant and began spotting she calmed my fears but didn’t offer false hope either. And when I lost my baby at 20 weeks (I was no longer in her care) she called me personally to offer her condolences and anything else I needed. I so appreciated that personal touch.

Tell her what you want and ask a lot of questions.

After my initial consult and lab work, it was determined that I had diminished ovarian reserve. Dr. Wells explained options like, IUI, IVF either with my own eggs after retrieval or using a donor. When I asked what she thought would be my best chance, she responded without hesitation that a donor egg was my best hope. That was difficult to accept and my husband and I decided to try IUI before taking that step. I began follistim injections and tried the first IUI. Jamie, the NP was very hopeful because I had 5 mature follicles but the test came back negative. We tried another round of follistim with timed intercourse and one more with IUI all with no success. After more thought we decided to try IVF with a donor egg. We began the complicated process of selecting a donor, signing consents, having my husband’s genes tested and matched with the donor etc. Dr. Wells performed a saline ultrasound to see if she needed to clean out my uterus which she determined she did. I then had a hysteroscopy during which she removed some fibroids and corrected a septum. The process was smooth and easy. Finally we were ready for the transfer. I can’t say enough about how positive the transfer experience was. Dr. Wells explained every step she was taking and there was a large screen facing my husband and me so we could see everything as well. There are as a nurse present who pointed out what we were looking at which we so appreciated. It was an overall easy procedure that left us feeling hopeful. We were ecstatic when it worked. I had several more ultrasounds with Dr. Wells and Jamie and watched my baby grow. We heard his heartbeat and saw him move several times. I had a scare when I began spotting at 8 weeks and again when I had a large fish of blood at 11 weeks but the baby continued to grow. Although ultimately it did not work out for us, when we left Dr. Wells at 12 weeks we were exactly where we had hoped we would be.

Louisiana does not cover fertility treatment so I had to pay out of pocket. The donor eggs cost somewhere around $17,000. Total cost was approximately $40,000.

Dr. Juneau is so positive and cares and remembers her patients. I never felt like just another woman with infertility, I felt heard. Dr. Juneau tried to make little successes and even regular appointments feel special and like we were really making progress. When we finally had a pregnancy and wanted to know the gender, she arranged some blue confetti fun so that we could have our own mini gender reveal instead of just telling us outright. After crying in her office so many times because of emotions and the process being really hard, she never waivered on her positivity and helpful attitude.

You will have a great experience.

Monitoring was in the morning and there were a lot of time slots. I went in 3 or 4 times a week when doing the monitoring and it ran very smoothly.

They used a pharmacy specifically for fertility medication and would send the prescriptions there. I would then call and make a payment directly to the pharmacy and they would ship the medications. The costs for treatment were a bundle for the general services and each surgery had its own costs.

She was very informative. She answered all our questions. She gave us other options once our retrieval didn’t turn out like we wanted it too. She didn’t make us feel like a number we felt like a patient or part of a little family.

You have to be open minded. You have to have hope but try to get your ups up because you can receive bad news

I was showed and explained how to use the injections. I went in multiple times for measurements, my meds were adjusted as needed. We set up for the retrieval. We were given all the updates on our embryos. Unfortunately our embryos did have the translocation that I carry. We were called in the office to discuss this and were given the options to have a baby.

I had no issues. They were great with working around my work schedule. No complaints at all

The cost was broken down one payment for the doctor, one for medications and one for the lab

My doctors approach would be to to put one at a time due to multiples being a risk since I’ve lost two children already. She feels you have better results with one at a time.

I was very clear from the beginning that I needed warm and fuzzy so that is what I got. I told her I was emotional but in a good place about egg donors. I wanted all of the facts but not in a harsh way. She was receptive of what I needed and delivered the message in a way that was easy for me to understand. When I walked in with a notebook full of questions, she was patient and took the time to answer all of them. She even let me record some of the responses because I was emotional and couldn't write down everything.

Tell her what you need from your doctor. If you need to the point and blunt, say that. If you need warm and fuzzy, let her know. She is there to help you and make you feel comfortable.

After finding out my AMH had risen from .03 to 1.1, I started treatment that day since it was the first day of my cycle. I was so over the moon excited that I could have my own biological children that I said yes. That cycle went very well for my egg count producing 8 follicles and one pen of follistim. I was monitored every couple days where I received an ultrasound to check the follicles. We did the IUI using my husband's sperm. When that resulted in a negative pregnancy test, we took a month off to regroup. Our dog had died during the time we were doing treatment and I was an emotional mess. The next month, we did an IUI again. My body didn't react as well as it did the first time so she increased my doses of Follistim several times throughout that cycle. I produced 8 follicles that time and it resulted in a negative pregnancy test. We decided to take another month off because our other dog got sick right after that treatment cycle and we spent thousands of dollars on his vet stay. After a month, we decided to schedule a consult for IVF. She was happy to meet with us and explain the details and success rates of IVF. It feels like the best choice for us so now we are saving for our first treatment cycle.

So far, we have about $7,000 in treatment right now with the two IUI's and testing leading up to the IUI's.

My husband and I went to Audubon after a year of unsuccessfully trying to conceive on our own. We had a consultation to discuss future options with Dr. Juneau, and I felt so much more hopeful even after just talking to her. She has been so patient with me and my crazy questions and seems personally invested in our journey. She can somehow make me still feel positive after receiving not so great news. We’re in the middle of prepping for a third egg retrieval, and before we began each treatment, Dr. Juneau sat with me and my husband and helped us decide what was best for us. And she doesn’t stop thinking about your treatment when you leave the clinic. I’ve received multiple calls from her after leaving saying “I’ve thought about this more, and instead of doing X, I think we should do Y...”. I can’t imagine a more compassionate and caring RE.

Ask questions. Since Dr. Juneau is living and breathing infertility treatment every day, sometimes she forgets to explain (or assumes you know) next steps or reasons for why she prescribes certain things.

We started infertility treatment with an “unexplained infertility” diagnosis. IUI - Letrozole for 5 days followed by follistim (don’t recall the dosage...maybe 75 units), with an HCG trigger shot. Had 4 follicles but no pregnancy. IVF retrieval 1 - 150 units menopur, 225 units gonal-F. Cetrotide last 4 days of stims. Lupron trigger (my estrogen was over 5000 so she didn’t want to give me an HCG trigger because she was worried about OHSS risks). Retrieved 16 eggs (she had trouble getting eggs from my left ovary which was hardened), only 6 mature, 5 fertilized, 1 good quality day 5 embryo (PGS normal). IVF retrieval #2 - added omega-3, folic acid, CoQ10 vitamins to improve egg quality since it was identified as an issue. 150 units menopur, 225 units gonal-F. Cetrotide last 3 days of stims. Dual trigger of Lupron + small dose of HCG (2500). My estrogen was still very high again, but Dr. Juneau added HCG trigger to try to improve egg maturity. 26 eggs retrieved, 20 mature, 15 fertilized. I ended up with 2 fair quality day 5 embryos (one PGS normal) and 2 poor quality day 6 embryos (both PGS normal). I had very mild OHSS. IVF retrieval #3 - I’m currently on day 5 of stims under the same protocol as retrieval #2.

The following represents their IVF costs: Procedures and physician fees - $1400 (monitoring, oocyte retrieval, embryo transfer, injection teaching, etc.) Anesthesia fee - $500 Lab fee - $3,825 (oocyte ID, sperm prep, culture and fertilization, ICSI, assisted hatching, crypto preservation, prep for transfer, 1 year embryo storage) Facility fee - $3600 Medications between $2000-$5000 PGS testing - $4750 (up to 8 embryos; additional $300/embryo above 8)

Dr. Juneau has said that the typical practice is to transfer one good or fair quality embryo at a time. For poorer quality embryos, or if there has been an issue with embryos implanting, they may transfer two.

Dr. Wells was very nice and always able to answer any question that my husband and I had. I never once felt uncomfortable around her or at any appointment. She made sure to explain every step of the IVF process and before moving on made sure that we understood.

I would tell them to make sure they ask a lot of questions and never feel like any question you have is not a good one.

The first thing my husband, myself, and Dr. Wells did was sit down and discuss options and risk. We then moved right into treatment. For a few weeks I gave myself injections until my follicles were at the right size. Once my follicles were big enough I went in for my egg retrieval and they were able to fertilize 17 out of my 20 eggs. By day 6 I have 6 embryos that were frozen. Two months after my egg retrieval I had my first transfer with 2 embryos that both took.

My monitoring appointments were always scheduled to best suit myself. The staff was really understanding of my work schedule and would try their best to accommodate my hours.

It costs about $15,000 for the IVF process which included physician costs, facility cost, procedures, and monitoring. My medications were not included and cost between $4,000-$5,000. The following year after my first IVF transfer I had 2 more transfers that cost $4,800-$5,000 each.

Dr. Wells let my husband and I decide on how many embryos we wanted to transfer. She let us know the risks for the number we chose.

My experience with Dr. Wells and Jamie her NP has been nothing short of amazing. They have been there for me every step of the way and I have trusted every decision they have made regarding my care. Dr. Wells connects with you on a personal level and makes sure you feel comfortable and knowledgeable about what all is going on.

Be open with her about your concerns. She will answer any questions you have to the best of her ability.

I just finished my egg retrieval. I started with Gonal-F injections followed by Menopur and Cetrotide. We were able to retrieve 17 eggs, 15 mature, and 11 fertilized with ICSI. I am schedule for surgery on the 21st to have my right tube removed prior to embryo transfer.

I did not have any concerns as my husband and I are still fairly young. We only wanted a single embryo transfer.

Dr Wells has a great beside manner and calming demeanor. We came to her from another clinic and we were very worried that we would never conceive. We saw her at every visit which was wonderful. We went through One failed IUI and 3 donor egg embryo transfers. There were plenty of tough times during our course of treatment but Dr Wells was always straight forward and to the point. She never made us feel uncomfortable for asking questions. We did 4 transfers and had three pregnancies. We lost one at 11 weeks but have 2 healthy children. If you are looking for a doctor that will state the facts but is also kind, compassionate and really cares about her patients, Dr Wells is the best!

If you've tried other clinics and aren't happy make sure to give Dr Wells a chance. You won't be disappointed

We went to Dr Wells after already having 3 unsuccessful transfers with my own eggs at another clinic. Dr Wells explained to us that I do have low ovarian reserve but it doesn't mean we can't try again. We inquired about using donor eggs as it seemed to give us the best chance. They helped coordinate everything and made it as simple as possible. It was the best choice for us.

We were very happy to learn that Dr Wells preferred to transfer only one embryo at a time.

First let me say that Dr. Wells is extremely kind. She explains everything very well. I did not see her as often as I though I would. In fact out of all 6 of my IUI's I don't think she performed any of them. That was kind of disappointing since you pick a clinic based on the dr.

I would forewarn them that they won't be seeing much of her past the initial consultation.

My first IUI I was strictly on femara. When that one didn't work we added injections. That time I did get pregnant, but ended in miscarriage. So the 3rd we stuck with the same protocol as the 2nd since technically it did work. The 4th and 5th we may have done the same. The 6th since it was my final try we amped it up to only injections. I produced multiple follicles each cycle. So the protocol worked. Unfortunately the outcome did not.

I don't really have anything to base it on, but I believe the rates were fair/average.

My husband semen analysis results were not good. He was already self conscious and she did a wonderful job providing support the first time she shared them with us. His results improved and thought we had a good chance should we do an IUI. We proceeded with the IUI and that morning his results were not good again. I think she just wanted to prepare us so we didn't get our hopes up but she made a comment about the results and I could see that it embarrassed him. I jokingly told her that it only takes one sperm and we would pray for the best...in order to keep my husband in a positive mindset.

Be prepared for the honest truth. It can be hard to go in with high hopes only to realize you may have a long road ahead. Also, my insurance does not cover anything fertility related...including blood work. My OB/GYN ordered some of the same tests and it was covered. Just do your research on the costs of everything.

I cannot recall which protocols we followed.

My insurance did not cover anything. Semen analysis for my husband are $200 each (we’ve had 3). Initial consultation labs/genetics were $2,000, IUI including ultrasounds and medications were $1,800-2,000.

Dr. Wells is open and very knowledable. She answered all of our questions and explained how our ivf cycle would go. She was encouraging and gave us different ideas on how to afford or pay for the ivf cycle. She made sure to get labs on me and my husband and explain results and let us know what was needed next.

Be patient and follow directions given.

Certain tests were done before others. She made sure to put me on medications for PCOS for my body to respond to ivf medications when we start ivf.

We were told it would cost about 16,000 dollars including meds for our ivf cycle. The finance dept. explained how the clinic accord payment and ways to pay.

I have endometriosis and diminished ovarian reserve. I was on 300 gonal and 75 menopur for the first few days. I was then upped to 150 menopur with the 300 gonal, and inclusion of the centrotide in order to let my smaller follicles keep growing. With my low AMH, we ended up getting more eggs than expected with this approach.

I was sufficiently educated on the number of embryo transfers and we have elected to do the single embryo transfer

Dr. Wells is honestly the best of the best. She spends time explaining everything you need to know about your procedure & what to expect. We spent about 45 minutes talking to her about IVF and she explained it so well. She is caring, positive, & a great doctor.

During IVF, I was given a list of things to avoid & a list of things to do. Exercise, eat healthy, stay hydrated, etc. I was always given a specific treatment plan to follow, which told me when to take certain meds & give injections. The results were positive because we are now pregnant!

It depended on what the monitoring was for. IVF monitoring must be done in the morning. If you’re doing IUI or another treatment, you can choose any time of the day.

IVF was obviously the most expensive. We paid $15,000 for the egg retrieval, cytopreseervation, and transfer. We paid an additional $4000 for the genetic testing which I highly recommend.

Yes, because of my age, hormone levels, & other factors, Dr. Wells felt very strongly that one embryo would work. And she was right!
