This is the most recent data from the CDC. The CDC cautions that it should not be used to compare doctors and clinics. This data represents the outcomes of IVF cycles when using a person's own eggs.
For more information please see our FAQs.
Where you see a “?” on the chart, a clinic has done fewer than 20 cycles in this category and age range, so the CDC says showing percentages from this small data set would be misleading and unreliable.
Dr. Crawford’s bedside manner is great and she’s an upbeat person but we were not given extensive details or followed up with after failed iui’s.... She is a warm and inviting person. She gives the impression that she’s explaining everything but then you leave with a lot of questions. I do not like that there was no follow up after failed iui’s. She also always seemed to be in a hurry and appointments felt rushed.... Expect a long wait before appointment
You check in at a closed sliding window. It’s strange because you sign in on a pad but it takes them [Austin Fertility Center] a long time to look at it. The wait in the waiting room can be very long and the room is very small and cramped. Once you get called back, the nurses are nice and you are seen fairly promptly. Once seen, it feels rushed. Doctors are friendly but not a lot of attention to detail.... Nursing staff seemed very disorganized and routinely forgot to send me home with things. They also charged us incorrectly once.

She [Dr. Natalie Crawford] gave me an HSG to make sure...diagnostics was correct from the other doctors before giving me the info....removing my tubes because we were going to go through the IVF stages but they didn’t have in house finance and we wasn’t in a position to pay out of pocket all up front...When talking with her she discuss more of my options to take rather then the financial part which turn me off from other doctors even though it would be a big decision...i felt comfortable with her and everything she was saying.
[The nursing staff at Austin Fertility Center were] Very nice and informative. Always made follow up calls and given info when asked or needed. Make sure prescriptions where sent to pharmacy on time with no issues...They where very informative and attentive. Made sure i was comfortable and understood everything from the doctor. Only weakness was their wait time to see the Dr was long at times and they didn’t thane in house finances for many people to take advantage of.
