This is the most recent data from the CDC. The CDC cautions that it should not be used to compare doctors and clinics. This data represents the outcomes of IVF cycles when using a person's own eggs.
For more information please see our FAQs.
Where you see a “?” on the chart, a clinic has done fewer than 20 cycles in this category and age range, so the CDC says showing percentages from this small data set would be misleading and unreliable.
She [Dr. Behera] recognized my previous issue of OHSS from my first IVF cycle with another doctor and had me start and continue at a lower dosage of medication to prevent it from happening again. She saw I had a high prolactin level, began treating it, but also sent me for an MRI which helped diagnose me with a benign tumor on my pituitary gland. She also had me take CoQ10 and baby aspirin during my IVF cycle and now our current FET cycle, which we had never even heard of as something I should have taken. I was told to eat a lot of protein and drink lot of Gatorade for hydration on top of water. I became pregnant for the first time after TTC for 5 1/2 years. Unfortunately, our baby had a chromosomal anomaly and we lost her at nearly 10 weeks, but even that experience was handled amazingly. I was able to go through it naturally and lay our baby to rest at home.
Their technologies [Bloom Reproductive Institute] are advanced. They participate in clinical studies that help make treatments affordable. Currently, they have acupuncture available in house. They also accept applications for grants to provide treatments at low to no cost for their patients. The clinic is clean, warm and inviting for all...These people [nurses] are the sweetest ever! They all welcome you with a hug and a smile, giving you time and space in the event of a loss. They were and still are our personal cheer section. We love them!...As a teacher, I can't leave during the day, so they worked with me to allow me to head over after work. Wait time was minimal for the most part.
How was your experience with Millie Behera at Bloom Reproductive Institute?
Dr. Behera is THE BEST OF THE BEST! She listens to her patients, is caring, compassionate, and passionate about helping her patients become parents. She keeps us informed of everything necessary and is always available to answer our questions. You truly feel like you are part of a family/partner in your care, instead of a patient.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Millie Behera at Bloom Reproductive Institute?
Get your medical records and make an appointment to see her. We wish we would have come to her much sooner.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Millie Behera at Bloom Reproductive Institute?
Dr. Behera listened to all of my concerns. Her treatment prevented a repeat issue of OHSS during our IVF treatment, which had occured with another Dr. during our first ever IVF treatment. They were just as excited as we were when we became pregnant, and were just as upset when we found out our baby had Turner Syndrome, having a 99% chance of miscarriage. When I had bleeding, instead of directing me to a closer Dr., they made time for us to come in and check on our baby. They took ultasounds once a week for 4 weeks. When our baby passed, they were gentle and caring. They were just as devastated as we were. When I was in shock and couldn't believe we had lost her, they let me come in the next day to check...even during the following 2 weeks as I went through my miscarriage naturally. They answered my texts in the middle of the night when I miscarried at home, after midnight, to answer my questions and put me at ease. We had the choice to keep our baby and bury her at home with us. They are extremely encouraging several months later as we are getting ready for our 1st FET with them. The entire staff is warm, welcoming, and truly loving!

We qualified for a clinical study which helped us afford our IVF cycle at a cost which was substantially less than typical. Dr. Behera was knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. I never felt confused or out of control...I had Lupron, Gonal, Meonpur. I was on vitamin D supplements and baby aspirin...We had a miscarriage on our first transfer. She didn't give up...we were monitored closely. Adjustments and dosages were explained clearly...After our miscarriage, we decided to be bold and transfer our last 3 embryos.
[nurse of Bloom Reproductive Institute] She was sensitive and listened to all of our concerns. She always answered our questions...We had identical twins and fraternal twins - 4 heartbeats. The identical twins did not make it past week 9. The fraternal twins kept growing and they are thriving now...I think both transfers and all the medications were around $25,000. Including a few procedures for myself and testing for my husband.

I don't remember all the dosages and drugs used exactly. I had Lupron, Gonal, Meonpur. I was on vitamin D supplements and baby aspirin. I do not know the rationale. I trusted the protocol and we were monitored closely. Adjustments and dosages were explained clearly. They gave us a detailed chart and explained clearly what to do and when.

Tamara was so kind and honest. She made us laugh and told us what we needed to hear. She was sensitive and listened to all of our concerns. She always answered our questions.

We had identical twins and fraternal twins - 4 heartbeats. The identical twins did not make it past week 9. The fraternal twins kept growing and they are thriving now. When we discovered the heartbeats were no longer, Tamara handled it well and took care of us. It was hard to reconcile, but we needed to move forward. The staff ensured the health of our boys and we are very happy as a result.

Describe Millie Behera's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at Bloom Reproductive Institute.
After our miscarriage, we decided to be bold and transfer our last 3 embryos. It worked and we now have twins. We knew that was a possibility and we didn't hesitate.
Dr.Behera was great at explaining our options, listening to what we wanted to accomplish and helping us get there without any pressure. She made us feel like we could do this together. She was honest about the odds and the risks. However, our treatment resulted in triplets and I don't ever recall that being discussed clearly. We did go over the odds being very slim for multiples, I just never thought high order multiples were a real possibility.
The office staff [at Bloom] were great, it was a wait for my first evaluation but then they were very hands on, responding to calls and results fast, the office was very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. They do your blood work, ultasounds, IUI all in the clinic. The billing staff reviewed my benefits and costs right there for us so we could make an informed decision about the plan going forward.

Describe the protocols Millie Behera used in your cycles at Bloom Reproductive Institute and their degree of success.
We had the option to do just clomid 10 mg and try and time our sex or do clomid and IUI. Dr. Behera felt since my husband's sperm count was good and nothing was ever found with my fertility issues besides mild endometriosis, I was most likely not ovulating every month. We felt like we had be trying to time sex with ovulation for 2 years and were ready to try IUI and not waste another cycle
Describe your experience with your nurse at Bloom Reproductive Institute. (Assigned nurse: Tamara Evans)
Tamara and the nursing staff were wonderful, very patent with us, explaining and answering questions. During the IUI procedure she was very proficient but also helped make us comfortable and at ease. When we thought we were having twins she took the time to review what would happen next and be supportive of our initial shock.

Describe the costs associated with your care under Millie Behera at Bloom Reproductive Institute.
My visit and ultrasounds were covered by my insurance. We paid $550 for the IUI. And I think like $50 for the clomid from a pharmacy and another $100 for the estrogen cream at an apothacary
Dr. Behera listens, never rushes me, hugs me when I'm sad or upset, tailors my treatment plan to me and genuinely shows she cares about ME. I was crying prior my egg retrieval...Dr. B held my hand and wipes away my tears until I was sedated... I have seen Dr B in person 3x now. Both Elizabeth and Dr. B are compassionate, caring and very knowledgable. Even though my eggs are not cooperating and I have not been able to sustain a pregnancy I do noy blame either provider...my body and eggs are to blame. I know that I am in the right place with these providers and would never consider .ovimg to another clinic...
Weaknesses [of BLOOM Reproductive Institute]: communication and responses from business office and IVF Nurses is spotty. When I met 1 of the IVF nurses, however, on the day of my retrieval she was very kind and answered all of my questions. She respnded quickly yo my needs post-retrieval with nausea meds, pain meds, warm blankets, etc...Strengths: NP and Dr. B are ah-mazing. I have no complaints about them what-so-ever...

Describe the protocols Millie Behera used in your cycles at Bloom Reproductive Institute and their degree of success.
IUI #1 resulted in a missed abortion. There was a heartbeat, but we lost the baby. I was terrfied of miscarrying again. I was given the option of another IUI or IVF. We chose IVF because my AMH was low and I wanted to improve the odds of not miscarrying again, wanted to be able to do PGS testing to ensure no chromosomal abnormalities, and was hoping to freeze embryos gor future pregnancies. IVF round 1 was cancelled because I ovulated prematurly. IVF round 2 I had 8 follicles, 3 eggs were extracted. ICSI was performed. 1 embryo split into 2 but didnt do anything beyond that. The other 2 never fertilized. I do noy blame my providers for any of this. They have been up front with me about success rates, what to expect for my body, and how to proceed.
Describe your experience with the nursing staff at Bloom Reproductive Institute.
The MA Cheryl at the Gilbert clinic is amazing! She took care of everything I asked for help with. She is very sweet and compassionate. I havr had trouble getting reponses from the IVF Nurses and feel a disconnect from them being at the sattelite clinic instead of the big clinic in Scottsdale. I made the NP aware and she has chosen to do most of the communication with me directly to alleviate the gaps.

IUI my insurance covered after I met my deductible. IVF was $13,900, PGS $1800 (plus fee to genetic company), EEVA $599, plus cost of meds. Transfer is $3,900...but we have not made it to this step. We are in the process of considering egg donor which is $14,500 for 8 eggs or $12,500 for 6 eggs plus $3900 for transfer

I love Dr. Behera and trust her ability to get me pregnant. Her bedside manner is unlike any I've ever seen and she's always willing to answer any questions I have...Dr. Behera and her entire staff are all fabulous. At my initial consult I brought a pregnant friend (I'm single) who was a past patient of hers (who went to a different clinic for reasons unrelated to Dr. Behera's care). At my follow up with Dr. Behera over two months later she asked me how my friend was doing by name. That's just one example of how they make you feel like you're family...
The staff [at Bloom Reproductive Institute] is all friendly, helpful and VERY competent. The entire staff is very organized and in all cases next steps are provided before you could even need to ask...

What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Millie Behera at Bloom Reproductive Institute?
It can be a wait to get on her calendar. Typically when she tells her staff to schedule a follow up around X date you can add 2-3 weeks before the staff finds an appointment slot for you.

I'm single, attempting to have a chip on my own using frozen donor sperm. She did blood work and HSG and I think and SHG to make sure all was normal. Once the results were in she gave me the choice of starting with a natural cycle or clomid, talking me through the risks of clomid. She was understanding and supportive of my choice to start my first cycle with clomid and a trigger shot. In her office the IUI is performed by one of her NUrse Practitioners. On day 3 and 10 they do an ultrasound to first confirm there are no cysts and then check readiness size & number. Clomid was given days 3-7 (50mg the first cycle, 100mg the second). I triggered with Ovidrel and IUI was exactly 36 hours later. After IUI cream progesterone was used vaginally with a blood check on day 6 to check progesterone. I'm still in the two week wait of my 2nd IUI.

If my second cycle fails I will have questions about medicine protocols. I've heard from peers that there are alternatives to clomid with lower risk of multiples but better egg quality. I didn't know to ask about them before and am not sure if those are options for me. Every RE is trying to make their own recipe for success so maybe Dr. Behera believes clomid is crucial in that recipe, but I just want to know if there are other options.
Describe the costs associated with your care under Millie Behera at Bloom Reproductive Institute.
I have very good insurance so can't really speak to this.
Dr. Bahera really cares about safety of her patient and safety of pregnancy and baby so she takes a more careful approach. I think 2 embryos is the most she will transfer for this reason. Also during IUI’s if ever over stimulated with multiple follicles she would cancel for that month. I really value her staying strong to these numbers. Multiples pose higher risk to mother and babies. Not to mention what it takes to care for multiples.
My IVF nurse assigned to me [at Bloom Reproductive] was a breath of fresh air. She was patient with me. Answered all my questions to the best of her ability and if she didn’t have an answer she would get one for me. Riley always got back to me in a timely manner. She was compassionate and knowledgeable.... Office is clean and in good condition. Overall I would say the office runs smoothly. Employees always looked and talked professionally and they all seem happy at their job. Friendly faces with enthusiasm to be working for a great cause!

Trust Dr. Bahera and her staff to help formulate a plan that works best for you and your family.

Dr. Bahera always gave me a sense of peace while in her care. I went through 5 unsuccessful IUI’s with Dr. Bahera and her office. I was beginning to lose hope of ever being able to have my own child. Dr. Bahera always gave me a sense of hope and a sense of calmness. She held my hand on multiple occasions. I never told her what a dark place our struggles with conceiving had put me in. It’s like she knew just what I needed. Compassion, along with her expertise. I trusted Dr. Bahera 💯! With God and the help of Dr. Behera, Tamera and Riley we have a beautiful baby girl! We are getting ready to to do another fresh embryo transfer and their is no one else I would want to do it with!! I can say with confidence and ease that Dr. Bahera and her staff is worth putting your trust in!
Describe the protocols Millie Behera used in your cycles at Bloom Reproductive Institute and their degree of success.
I don’t remember many specifics of my treatment plans. We did 5 cycles of IUI using Clomid and femora. Progesterone and estrogen suppositories along with estrogen patches. We did trigger shots prior to issemination.
During our IVF cycle we used above creams, patches, daily progesterone injections, daily aspirin, BID COQ10, daily steroids. I’m forgetting a lot!

Dr. Behera is very sweet, caring and understanding. She is never cold or too blunt...She has a very busy practice, so the wait times to get your initial New Patient appointment can be months. Once you see her, she is very caring and understanding. She wants to get you results, quickly. She plans a course of action and starts it immediately.
Make your appointment now! Even if you're just thinking about it, new patients can take months to get in [to Bloom Reproductive Institute]...Very friendly, they would describe everything and answer all of my questions...Clomid $6, Ovidrel trigger shot $130, Progesterone compound $50, Bloodwork $425, IUI $500...Everything is on site, the blood draws, any surgical procedures, etc. They always call you the same day with lab results!

Very nice demeanor of staff while in the office. Dr. Behera is very sweet, caring and understanding. She is never cold or too blunt. I will say I haven't felt that it's easy to get a hold of them with questions. They haven't offered any access to a patient portal or email.

I had a previous IUI cycle with Clomid, that resulted in a pregnancy (ultimately miscarrying). She wanted to use Clomid again, since I responded well to it the first time. I did 5 days of Clomid, then an Ovidrel injection to trigger.

Dr. Behera is very warm and compassionate. However, you do not get to see her too often. Partially because it is a large volume business. You are not a number to her in the sense that she truly cares about your success...She typically performs Hysteroscopies on IVF patients...she uses multiple forms of each medicine. For example: for Estrogen, expect to take a pill, a patch, and a suppository.
It is hard to get a hold of anyone if you call. Expect to leave a message, and get a call back at some point. Emails are best, all though not always promptly returned. This is due to the large volume of patients...[the Bloom Reproductive Institute] Nurses were nice, always made me feel comfortable...Some of the "add ons" like IV's cost more here than other clinics I believe.

We did three rounds of IUI [with Dr. Woodford] that were unsuccessful in causing pregnancy. We then moved to IVF. We have done two egg retrieval’s with PGS testing. We currently have one frozen normal embryo and are doing another egg retrieval in order to bank more eggs...obviously cares and takes time to talk personally with her patients... is super friendly and very knowledgeable. She is very good at communicating what is going on in your body during treatments. I trust her because she is honest about expectations. Because I go to the satellite office in Gilbert, I don’t see her as often as I would like. She is very reachable by email and telephone though.

She [Dr. Millie Behera] is very caring and understanding & explains treatment plan in depth. She individually tailors a plan based on each person's situation. She let me set my own pace, but gave recommendations if I asked (ex: do IUI again or go to IVF)...I would want a new patient to know IVF takes much longer than you expect. I started back in November and probably wont transfer until April...try and get on her schedule ASAP.

Describe the costs associated with your care under Millie Behera at Bloom Reproductive Institute.
I feel the costs are very fair and reasonable. Around $600 for IUI with semen wash included.
Most of the other costs have been covered by my insurance. (ultrasounds, bloodwork, HSG, SHG. )
Kind, compassionate, knowledgeable. She truly exceeded my expectations! As a nurse, I've worked with good, bad and indifferent physicians. Dr. Behera is not only knowledgeable about infertility, she has outstanding bedside manor. It's hard to find a physician that has both qualities!... Go in with an open mind! Be willing to hear your options. Be flexible, not all treatment plans work for every patient! Dr. Behera is really good about making individual treatment plans for each patient

During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Millie Behera at Bloom Reproductive Institute?
She created an individual treatment plan for me according to my wishes
our doctor [Dr. Diane Woodford] has been wonderful...she has been in communication with us very upfront about what to expect...if we don’t achieve those expectations within a certain timeframe and that will adjust expectations and protocol if necessary. She is always open to having a conversation Or appointment if you just want to check in with her if you feel like you’re not getting what you need from the clinic and I absolutely love that that they will make a time to see the patients just to have a conversation to both get on the same page and all that stuff goes along way for me
The staff at the location [of Bloom Reproductive Institute] I go to is wonderful. Blanca treats everyone like family and remembers you and your life and is just incredibly Sweet and caring. Kim is incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate and also to the point which I really appreciate...it is all vary based on your individual needs, history, age, health...absolutely take everything into consideration and doEverything they can to help people grow their families and I just admire the work that is being done at this clinic and although they’re a little things that I would love to fix overall it’s where I know I need to
How was your experience with Diane Woodford at Bloom Reproductive Institute?
As stated previously it rubbed me the wrong way when certain things were discussed at my consultation that were not followed through with later visits and I had to call and bug and email reminders about certain things. Beyond that and being able to get past that because it was more clerical than anything our doctor has been wonderful she has been in communication with us very upfront about what to expect said an outline for us if we don’t achieve those expectations within a certain timeframe and that will adjust expectations and protocol if necessary. She is always open to having a conversation Or appointment if you just want to check in with her if you feel like you’re not getting what you need from the clinic and I absolutely love that that they will make a time to see the patients just to have a conversation to both get on the same page and all that stuff goes along way for me
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Diane Woodford at Bloom Reproductive Institute?
I would be very specific about expectations write down things about medications frequency of appointment types of medications amounts of medications that you speak with her about so when talking with the nurses the correct stuff gets ordered for you
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Diane Woodford at Bloom Reproductive Institute?
Diane is really good with you in person when she meets you, but she does tend to forget things that were discussed prior which is a little bit of a letdown. I know they see so many patients but I want to be secure in my choice of a RE and know you’ll remember my situation to go they this journey as planned and not me having to battle with NPs and front desks associates about what you said or promised me that wasn’t documented.
Describe the protocols Diane Woodford used in your cycles at Bloom Reproductive Institute and their degree of success.
I was pretty lucky and had great success with this doctor for my first our UI. I had previously done five are you are is with another doctor out of state that were unsuccessful. My protocol for my positive pregnancy resulting in a single tan wise letrozole cycle days three through seven then on the eighth cycle day we did 75 units of Follistim, my follicles reacted amazing, went In for a scan they were measuring where they needed to be we triggered the next night had her IUI and two weeks later found out we were successful and in July 2018 welcomed our baby boy. Fast forward to June 2019 we did one unsuccessful are you are you in the protocol for that was cycle days three through 72 pills of lectures all and then I did seven days of 75 units of Menopur injections, my follicles were slow to react then finally were measuring correctly and we triggered with ovidrel and ended up being a failed cycle. I am currently on CD 6 and taking letrazole until CD7, CD8 I will start menopur and inject 75units for 7 days and hopefully that’s what I need! For all cycles I was on 2000mg of metformin for PCOS, 1000unots of vitamin D, and a prenatal.

We did two treatments for egg retrieval [with Dr. Behera] and both were canceled due to minimal eggs seen during ultrasound...has a very soft touch and truly does act like she cares...She has a very nice approach...Warm and takes the time to explain what’s going on, never felt rushed.Soft approach and even hugged us as we met.
