This is the most recent data from the CDC. The CDC cautions that it should not be used to compare doctors and clinics. This data represents the outcomes of IVF cycles when using a person's own eggs.
For more information please see our FAQs.
Where you see a “?” on the chart, a clinic has done fewer than 20 cycles in this category and age range, so the CDC says showing percentages from this small data set would be misleading and unreliable.
In most conversations with him [Dr. Moshe Peress], it’s quite apparent that he hasnt done his prep(and obvious he doesnt care to) so more often than not, he will ask silly questions in which he would know the answers to if he bothered to prep for appointments. So his carelessness makes you feel like nothing but just a number...After seeing this doctor for 6 months and going through an egg retrieval, in one of the second round appointments, he asked me where i had my first round of IVF done
This clinic [BocaFertility IVF Center] comes across as very put together, clean, professional and organized. And whilst they are most of these things, the doctor who leads them isnt up to date on the research. So i would say, the strengths of this clinic are the front desk and nursing staff and everything else is a weakness...The communication isnt great to be honest. The clinic runs test and most importantly tons of bloodwork and fails to report results. Especially results that are quite important.
How was your experience with Moshe Peress at BocaFertility IVF Center (Fertility Specialist Network clinic)?
As first impression(and through extensive research), Dr.Peress seems like a genuinely nice and caring doctor. His lack of care and knowledge doesnt really show until you challenge or question him. I know this process is unique to every individual and takes time but its important for the doctor you are seeing to treat you as an individual and take the time to properly treat you rather than just put you on a generic protocol. In most, if not all, conversations with the dr, it was quite apparent that he hadnt taken the time to properly look into your information which was exhausting and defeating because in the IVF world, the doctor you are working with becomes your North Star. And if your North Star isnt shining bright, you get lost along the way.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Moshe Peress at BocaFertility IVF Center (Fertility Specialist Network clinic)?
Be your own advocate. Do your proper research because Dr Peress sure wont.

After seeing this doctor for 6 months and going through an egg retrieval, in one of the second round appointments, he asked me where i had my first round of IVF done..somehow completely forgetting that he was the doctor who performed my retrieval followed by many appointments. In most conversations with him, it’s quite apparent that he hasnt done his prep(and obvious he doesnt care to) so more often than not, he will ask silly questions in which he would know the answers to if he bothered to prep for appointments. So his carelessness makes you feel like nothing but just a number.
Describe the protocols Moshe Peress used in your cycles at BocaFertility IVF Center (Fertility Specialist Network clinic) and their degree of success.
At first, we used a generic protocol as Dr.Peress was adamant thats how every new patient proceeds and we will learn from this first round. Which since we didnt know any better, we didnt question it. When the first round didnt result in any viable embryos, the dr put me on omnitrope for quality of eggs for next round but i had a couple cysts so we had to wait 2-3 months before we could proceed with another round. The dr then put me on lupron microdose without explaining the reasoning which resulted in one follicle growing much larger and faster than all other follicles which resulted in cancelling the round. When questioned on why we proceeded this way and not taken any DOR specific protocols into consideration, he just replied with “i dont do that”. First red flag noted there. We then tried an at home trigger and 5 day relations but that resulted in nothing. When i asked him why we didnt do an IUI, he said it wasn’t an ideal situation without much more explanation.
Describe your experience with your nurse at BocaFertility IVF Center (Fertility Specialist Network clinic). (Assigned nurse: Amy)
The nursing staff here is exceptional. They are so caring and helpful. They are probably the only reason why i wouldnt have wanted to leave this clinic but there is only so much they can do. If the tree is rotting at the roots, it surely will work its way up. The lead coordinating nurse i dealt with here more often than not had conflicting feedback to what the dr initially had said or vice versa. It was quite hard to follow and understand. For some reason, common sense went out the window and alot of the responses became quite robotic. When you are dealing with such a personal situation, the person who communicates vital information to you makes or brakes your overall experience.

Describe the specific things that went wrong at BocaFertility IVF Center (Fertility Specialist Network clinic).
The communication isnt great to be honest. The clinic runs test and most importantly tons of bloodwork and fails to report results. Especially results that are quite important. As some with DOR, i found out by chance that my most recent bloodwork for my AMH had significantly improved and the dr completely forgot to tell me about it. The office rarely informs you of necessary information and only tells you things when you ask- which is so concerning because how would someone who doesnt know the details of what they test for know when or what to ask?
[Dr. Peress] kept me on BC for down regulation for 2 months, which yielded far less eggs than we should have gotten, he had us wait 4-5 days for abstinence with my husbands sperm prior to our ICSI, which we found out is a huge no no with MFI...He doesn’t think outside the box or try to help your specific cause of infertility which made us feel like just a number to them...He insisted that DNA FRAG is a moot point, which is not the case according to the MFI expert we saw
12 eggs, 11 mature, 7 fertilized, 2 poor quality blasts...[BocaFertility IVF Center] Strengths: Nice location, the embryologist is the best part about this place. Weaknesses: cold staff, doctor who doesn’t stay up to date on research, care provided in a way that’s convenient for the clinic (I.e: BC for 2 months to fit their schedule when it shouldn’t be more than 2 weeks for a healthy female with no reproductive issues), major ego issue, threatened by other healthcare providers.
How was your experience with Moshe Peress at BocaFertility IVF Center (Fertility Specialist Network clinic)?
I am a healthcare provider. Steer clear of this clinic.
Unfortunately, they do not keep up with the latest science and do not do any extra research on your specific cause of infertility. He states he follows ASRM guidelines, but he doesn’t follow the new research. He kept me on BC for down regulation for 2 months, which yielded far less eggs than we should have gotten, he had us wait 4-5 days for abstinence with my husbands sperm prior to our ICSI, which we found out is a huge no no with MFI. He insisted that DNA FRAG is a moot point, which is not the case according to the MFI expert we saw after receiving care at this clinic. Every doc we’ve seen since has kind of laughed at this clinic— apologized that we wasted our time here and that they use outdated science and could be helping their patients more. I was heart broken by the way he handled my concerns over the way our cycle went. They slandered me in my medical record, it was a horrific and traumatizing experience. Please steer clear and seek care elsewhere.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Moshe Peress at BocaFertility IVF Center (Fertility Specialist Network clinic)?
Please seek care elsewhere if you want your absolute best chance at having a baby. Not up to date with the latest science.

IVF for severe MFI: OAT syndrome with high DNA frag husband was 31 at the time.
Healthy female, 29 Normal AMH, and hormone panel for me. AFC 22, AMH ~4
Birth control down regulation FOR 2 MONTHS WHICH IS ANOTHER NO NO FOR ANYONE AND CAN CAUSE OVER-SUPPRESSION OF THE OVARIES.
12-13 day stims with menopur, gonal, and centreotide I believe.
4.5 day abstinence for my husband, ANOTHER HUGE NO NO IN MFI.
12 eggs, 11 mature, 7 fertilized, 2 poor quality blasts.
1st implant= CP
Afterward, Saw a specialist we had been waiting for months to see who told us immediately to find a new doctor after hearing the protocol.

The front desk ladies were a bit cold. The staff were all a bit cold, and Sharon, the patient experience member was an absolute nightmare. If you have concerns about your care, you’re better off just going to a new clinic than bringing them up to her. She was derogatory and discriminatory toward me because I am a healthcare provider. She was incredibly unprofessional and I cannot believe how disrespectful she was toward my husband and I. It was the worst experience I’ve ever had with someone who was supposed to be an ally. AVOID THIS CLINIC.

I don’t remember the exact numbers but I’m pretty sure we paid around $30k for our cycle, which was handled SO wrongly for our specific case of infertility. Then they wanted another $6k to implant our second embryo, which was made with bad sperm. AVOID THIS MONEY PIT.

Despite being a patient at this practice for years, the doctor [Dr. Moshe Peress] couldn’t recall personal or medical details about me or my partner from appointment to appointment. “How old are you again?” “How many embryos did we transfer again?” Having to answer these questions after an embryo transfer that ended in miscarriage was especially difficult...I also feel that he missed things that should have been diagnosed.
This clinic [BocaFertility IVF Center] performed standard fertility testing for my husband and I, and the nurses were always kind, but I do not feel that we received personalized attention and treatment. We experienced pregnancy loss twice as patients here and were encouraged to try again without further testing. We moved on to a different doctor and had success...Amy [nurse] was available to answer questions via email or text. I appreciated her kindness but also felt she was dismissive of my concerns....
How was your experience with Moshe Peress at BocaFertility IVF Center (Fertility Specialist Network clinic)?
I thought seeing a single doctor at each appointment would have been a positive thing, but I don’t feel that the treatment I received was personalized to my/my partner’s infertility needs. I also feel that he missed things that should have been diagnosed. He encouraged us to try to get pregnant without treatment despite the condition of my Fallopian Tubes and we experienced an ectopic pregnancy. We then moved onto IVF and had a miscarriage. In the months following my loss, I sought a second opinion and numerous problems (PCOS that affected egg quality, a TSH/Thyroid level triple of what it should be in a healthy pregnancy, my partner and I both being carriers for a genetic disorder) were discovered that Dr. Peress had missed.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Moshe Peress at BocaFertility IVF Center (Fertility Specialist Network clinic)?
Seek a second opinion before moving forward with treatment!

In my IVF cycle, my partner and I were not given any specifics for vitamins or supplements to improve egg and sperm quality. This was addressed at other practices.
I injected Gonal F and Menopur during my IVF cycle and used Estrogen patches and Progesterone in oil to support the pregnancy after the embryo transfer.

He [Moshe Peress] explained everything and detail and was happy to do so. Sometimes it difficult to ask questions because you don't want to"bother" your doctor however with Dr. Moshe it was different. Even during my ultrasound he explained everything on the screen to me and the next step without even asking. I ended up having to have a procedure in the office done and Dr. Moshe walked me through the whole procedure which really helped ease my nerves. He is very understanding and very straight forward as well. He explained the chances and the risks etc.
Xiomara [nurse] was great. She explained everything in detail from day one and provided clear instructions both written and verbal. Xiomara always responded to my emails within hours. ... I called my OB's office to confirm that they had received the records and they had not. I had to call Dr. Moshe's office and ask them to fax the records which did not arrive. Finally I asked them to email me my records which I brought myself to my OB's office visit.

From the moment we walked into the office we were greeted with a smile. Once registration was done they moved us into Dr. Moshe's office for the consultation and we were offered hot tea while. Dr. Moshe greeted us and got to know us first before he began the consultation. His nurse Xiomara, is amazing. She not only called us throughout the whole process but would email me to check up on me. Every time I had a question I would email her and I would always receive a prompt reply. After our first cycle failed we needed to take some time to ourselves. We received beautiful follow up cards from Dr. Moshe and his team to let us know they are thinking about us. We felt like they really cared about us, we did not feel like a number with Dr. Moshe and his team. They were awesome.
Describe the protocols Moshe Peress used in your cycles at BocaFertility IVF Center (Fertility Specialist Network clinic) and their degree of success.
Dr. Moshe told us that my husband had male factor. He recommended 2-3 IUI cycles since we are young but did tell us that our best to chance would probably be IVF. I ordered my medications and contacted Xiomara one day one of my menses. She reviewed the instructions I had received prior to the meds arriving. I had oral, vaginal suppositories and injections to take and followed the instructions. I also had to go in for monitoring which including blood work and ultrasounds at Dr. Moshe's office. Then after the last ultrasound they scheduled the first treatment of IUI which happened to fall on a weekend. The only thing I was not happy about was that Dr. Moshe himself did not do the IUI treatment and I was not made aware. One of his nurses did it that weekend and she was the only one there. Therefore she also did the the sperm washing and it made me feel uneasy to be honest.

The clinic has the bathrooms pretty stocked up with feminine products making it both convenient and stress free while you are there.

I believe the cost of the IUI treatment was close to 1500, the medicine alone was about 1000. That does not include my specialist copay I had for every visit, ultrasound, blood work and other procedures.

did one frozen cycle with donor eggs due to advanced age [with Dr. Peress]. And was successful. Had my twins and could not be happier...is not only a great doctor but also very compassionate and professional. He is honest and gives you a real sense that he cares. However, at first he will be more about the science and very factual. He covers all possibilities and aspects of your treatment very thoroughly.
nurses and staff [at Boca Fertility] were professional and compassionate...had intolerance to sunflower oil for progesterone injections. And I found I always had to remind the nurse or drug company that we dealt with...IUI $2,500-$3,500 IVF-$15,000-$20,000 Donor egg-$30K...Strengths: patient care, professionalism, organized, compassionate, understanding... I don't know if it would be considered a weakness but having done a nutrional panel and more thorough blood work with an integrative doctor did helped me get my body in synch for future treatments with Dr. Peress. So, I suppose having the convenience of having that done with him would have been nice. Took a year off after last failed IVF , went to an integrative doctor that put me on armour thyroid and checked on nutritional panel etc, went back to Dr. Peress and did one frozen cycle with donor eggs due to advanced age. Describe Moshe Peress's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at BocaFertility IVF Center (Fertility Specialist Network clinic).
We were advised to transfer one embryo based on complications I had with my last pregnancy that ended in premature rupture of the membranes.
He [Dr. Moshe Peress] is caring and kind in a human way, but also very honest...He did not recommend PGS because of my previous experience of the embryos dissolving. I had a thin lining, so we froze both embryos in order to build up my lining using estrogen and baby aspirin. Once he felt that my lining was adequate, he transferred one embryo... Dr. Peress recommended that if we do not experience a natural pregnancy within a few months, we will try IUI with extra folic acid and more estrogen. We plan to try that within the next few months.
nurses and staff [at BocaFertility IVF Center] treated me like I was a member of their family. They were honest and caring. They celebrated with me when I found out I was pregnant, and grieved with me when I miscarried...I believe my IVF cycle cost around $18,000 plus some extra meds. The first transfer was included in that price. The second transfer was an additional $5,000 plus meds...This clinic met my expectations above and beyond what I thought was possible. From the moment you walk in the door, they are friendly and organized. The office is clean and the nurses and staff are 100% professional. They consider your physical, emotional, and financial needs, and will do anything they can do make this incredibly stressful experience as comfortable and successful as possible.

The fact that he tries to be at EVERY single ultrasound made me feel like a human being and reassured that he was doing everything he could to make my cycle successful.

Describe the protocols Moshe Peress used in your cycles at BocaFertility IVF Center (Fertility Specialist Network clinic) and their degree of success.
I came to Dr. Peress with a previous diagnosis of Diminished Ovarian Reserve and a horrible experience at a different clinic where I had 7 embryos dissolve before reaching the PGS stage. He recommended IVF with ICSI. I went through my stim cycle and he retrieved 8 eggs. There were 3 embryos formed, and by day 5, one had dissolved. They froze one embryo on Day 5, and one on Day 6. He did not recommend PGS because of my previous experience of the embryos dissolving. I had a thin lining, so we froze both embryos in order to build up my lining using estrogen and baby aspirin. Once he felt that my lining was adequate, he transferred one embryo. The embryo implanted, and I found out I was pregnant for the first time! We did progesterone injections intramuscularly for the week before the transfer, and throughout the entire pregnancy. At our 6 week ultrasound, we did hear a heartbeat, but Dr. Peress was unhappy with the size of the embryo and felt that it would stop growing. It did, and on week 7, the heartbeat was gone. Dr. Peress recommended a D&C, and sent the embryo for genetic testing. The lab came back that the embryo had Trisomy 16, and would most likely not have made it past birth if it did make it that far. We did see the miscarriage as a blessing. We took a break to try to relieve my body from the hormones and my brain from all of the stress. About 6 months later, we decided to transfer the second embryo. We did, and again, success! However, again at about 7 weeks, the embryo stopped growing, and at about 9 weeks, no heartbeat. We again had a D&C, but this time, the embryo came back NORMAL. My OBGYN sent me for a thrombophilia workup, and the blood tests all came back normal, except that I had low folic acid. That takes us to now. We have been trying on our own, and Dr. Peress recommended that if we do not experience a natural pregnancy within a few months, we will try IUI with extra folic acid and more estrogen. We plan to try that within the next few months.

They consider your physical, emotional, and financial needs, and will do anything they can do make this incredibly stressful experience as comfortable and successful as possible.
Describe the costs associated with your care under Moshe Peress at BocaFertility IVF Center (Fertility Specialist Network clinic).
I believe my IVF cycle cost around $18,000 plus some extra meds. The first transfer was included in that price. The second transfer was an additional $5,000 plus meds.
Describe Moshe Peress's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at BocaFertility IVF Center (Fertility Specialist Network clinic).
We asked for just one embryo to be transferred as we only had two, and Dr. Peress agreed.
I felt like he [Dr. Peress] cared at the very beginning, first meeting. Things changed after that though....During my HSG I was all alone in the room because of radiation and he didn't even wait for me to be sitting up straight before he said, "You'll never get pregnant, you'll have to do IVF." (My tubes were blocked and diseased apparently) I was devastated and didn't have my support with me in the room and had the iodine oozing out of me as I tried not to cry.
I felt like I saw a different nurse [BocaFertility] each time and talked to different people on the phone each time. Once someone (a receptionist?) came in with a dog and it kept barking and the nurses were yelling at her and each other. It just seemed very hectic....The overall ambiance is nice, they play calming music and advertise an app for meditation. Everything is clean and nice looking. They provide toiletries in the bathroom and it is nicely decorated so you don't feel like you're in a creepy hospital bathroom. They offer "fertili-tea" which is cute when you have your first appointment.
How was your experience with Moshe Peress at BocaFertility IVF Center (Fertility Specialist Network clinic)?
I knew many people who loved Dr. Peress. I personally felt like he was very impatient with me after my initial visit. During my HSG I was all alone in the room because of radiation and he didn't even wait for me to be sitting up straight before he said, "You'll never get pregnant, you'll have to do IVF." (My tubes were blocked and diseased apparently) I was devastated and didn't have my support with me in the room and had the iodine oozing out of me as I tried not to cry. I wasn't expecting that news at all-it was a complete shock and he was not compassionate in the least. I came back and did my SIS and he found cysts and polyps but told me he would just "clean it up when we started IVF" and seemed impatient with my questions. My husband and I had a final 3rd appointment to talk about everything and ask questions. I asked why I still had regular periods if my eggs weren't going into my uterus and he was really short with me and just repeated, "You DON'T have regular periods." which didn't make sense to me because I got a period ever 28 days and previous bloodwork showed I 'ovulated' so I just didn't understand. He didn't have my egg quality or genetics tested and just said I would have to do IVF. Before we left he had an embryologist talk to my husband and I about changing our diet and losing weight and that maybe that would work 'miracles' for us. It was very awkward considering I had been told my tubes were blocked and diseased and there were cysts and polyps that would hinder pregnancy as well. We left feeling confused and hurt and we didn't go back.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Moshe Peress at BocaFertility IVF Center (Fertility Specialist Network clinic)?
I'm sure he's good at what he does but be prepared for bluntness and little compassion.

I loved our initial meeting and drinking "fertili-tea." I felt like he cared at the very beginning, first meeting. Things changed after that though.

I didn't follow through with any treatments-just diagnosis tests with Dr. Peress.

We were told it was around $20,000 and that we should wait until we had insurance coverage with my husband's job because she "knew someone who worked there and had the insurance." She didn't actually look it up to give us accurate information.

I know there are embryologists in the clinic at Boca Fertility which is different than other clinics but I don't remember Dr. Peress's approach.

Failed to call with results
Failed to send your chart to another clinic
Describe the specific things that went wrong at BocaFertility IVF Center (Fertility Specialist Network clinic).
I wanted my records sent to another doctor and I felt like I had to jump through hoops of having the other clinic 'request' the records but also me 'sending' the records. It was just a little complicated. I also had different nurses call me to tell me results but one told me I needed bloodwork and the other didn't. They obviously weren't communicating to each other.
Dr. Peress is the only doctor in this clinic, which I thought would be a good thing. He is just too busy. I truly believe he uses the same protocol for every patient no matter what the diagnosis. He never explained the why just that I needed IVF and handed me a packet with billing information. When asking questions regarding tailoring the plan to my diminished ovarian reserve, he just said, “I don’t do that.” He never explained why, which left me feeling confused and not very confident.
The clinic [Boca Fertility] is beautiful. I would say “spa like” in appearance. They even served tea at our first appointment which was super special feeling. After that, I felt like a stranger every time I went in.... The nurse failed to call me after my first beta test. I knew it was negative but it still would’ve been nice to get an official call... Our IUI’s were about $400 each. I was on infectable meds so that increased the price as well.

The first visit was lovely, I was even served tea. The following appointments he was clueless as to my plan of care. He even forgot what he told me two days before. He even asked me,”Who told you that?” When I responded, “you did!” He asked the nurse to confirm and sure enough it was written in my chart.

I was on clomid for 5 days followed by 4 injections of Gonal-F (I want to say 75mg). I only had 2 follicles.

Dr. Peress is very intelligent and pragmatic while still being sensitive to his patients. He has alot of experience and has the tendency of most veteran physicians to not explain every single detail but convey the general course and purpose of treatment. You get the feeling that everything is being handled and you shouldn't over analyze every detail. He answers questions with great confidence and doesn't sugarcoat things -- but he's not cold either. He saw me through a natural m/c, 3 failed IUI's and a vanishing twin, and he was sensitive to all of those situations.
they [The nurses at BocaFertility IVF Center] were definitely sensitive to everything. You get to know everyone by name there and it feels like a team or family rooting you on...Strengths are that it's a smaller clinic so you get to know everyone and they get to know you -- and you are not passed around to different doctors. Weaknesses would be that since it is a single RE clinic, you may not get different opinions on treatment unless you seek them out elsewhere. It's definitely important to be your own advocate but to also trust the doctor's experience. It's perfect for patients who want a more "hands off" approach (they don't want to analyze every detail of the cycles) but might be frustrating to someone who really wants to know all of the details and reasoning behind treatments.

Ask questions if you have any! Some people might feel he doesn't explain what it's going on with the treatment in as great detail as they might like, but he's happy to provide more detailed insight if you ask questions. He just doesn't want the patient to stress out over the medical nuances and reasoning -- that's his job. He's much more of an old school physician who gives you the feeling everything is going to be handled.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Moshe Peress at BocaFertility IVF Center (Fertility Specialist Network clinic)?
I felt like everyone in the clinic knew me and was rooting for me -- it's smaller so you get to know the staff and doctor very well. By the time of my IVF cycle, they knew me by name and now when I drop by with my little girl to say hi, they all are excited and happy to see us. It felt more like they were my team rather than just healthcare providers.
Describe the protocols Moshe Peress used in your cycles at BocaFertility IVF Center (Fertility Specialist Network clinic) and their degree of success.
He called the IUI cycles mini-stim/ovulation induction --- we did those first since we were unexplained. I only went through 1 IVF cycle and went with his basic protocol since there was no reason to think anything needed to be changed (I had responded well during the IUI cycles). We did a freeze-all cycle since he recommended frozen transfers over fresh; he feels they are providing better results to his patients. The medications used during the IVF cycle were pretty standard -- Gonal-F, follistim, pregnyl trigger shot, etc. Same for the FET cycle -- menopur, estrogen patches, progesterone oil, etc. I did end up being allergic to the progesterone oil and they quickly changed it to a special compounded one with ethyl oleate rather than sesame oils.
Describe your experience with your nurse at BocaFertility IVF Center (Fertility Specialist Network clinic). (Assigned nurse: Amy)

Each IUI cycle ended up to be around 3k with meds included; the IVF cycle was around 10k for the retrieval and transfer clinic fees (1 transfer) plus another 7k for the meds and another 1k or so for anesthesia during the transfer. I felt the costs were reasonable in comparison to other clinics. Additional transfers could be done at 2.6k.
Describe Moshe Peress's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at BocaFertility IVF Center (Fertility Specialist Network clinic).
Single transfer was recommended but I asked to do a double transfer and they agreed to it. I was given information of the risks of multiples, etc.
Every visit, the doctor [Dr. Moshe Peress] came in to say hello and see how you were feeling and give you a hug. He would follow by saying “kindness makes a happy woman, and a happy woman means happy healthy eggs!”...is so professional and personable at the same time. He upholds a zen, peaceful atmosphere for his patients and his staff.. where you really feel as comfortable as you would around your own family... I had to be monitored every other day (due to super high follicle count from PCOS) in order to avoid Ovarian hyper-stimulation syndrome.
I have zero complaints [at BocaFertility IVF Center]. They are organized and well managed, amazing bed side manner and even utilize any extra space they have to give patients complimentary fertility massages if they were undergoing treatment at the time...They [nurses] were always prompt with bringing you back for your appointments, gentle when drawing blood. Also were calm, gentle, understanding and thorough when it came to explaining procedures, results, or answering questions.

Both cycles I used follistim and/or gonal-f injectables. I had to be monitored every other day (due to super high follicle count from PCOS) in order to avoid Ovarian hyper-stimulation syndrome. After about 10-14 days of injections, I was given an ovidrel trigger shot and brought in the next day for IUI. First round we had two strong matured follicles that did unfortunately not end in pregnancy, and the second round of IUI resulted in my only son and miracle child.

I had great insurance at the time, so I only had to pay $40 per visit toward my ultrasound and bloodwork for the day.
Good doctor [Dr. David Kreiner] for the treatments I was seeking; IUIs. Friendly, knowledgeable, straightforward, but concise. He was new to clinic, from New York, but I felt he knew what he was doing. Again, my age was a factor, anyone over 35 has less of chance for success but I knew this going into each procedure...I did 2 sessions of IUIs back to back 1 in January (first cycle) then 2nd in February (2nd cycle) - unfortunately neither was successful so we discussed IVF vs 3rd round of IUI for next possible steps.
All of the [BocaFertility IVF Center] staff was so nice and pleasant. The female staff makes you feel very comfortable. Taylor gives the best blood draws I've ever had no pinch or bruised veins...Dr. Kreiner and staff at Boca Fertility did a great job. IUIs had a low percentage of taking due to my age at the time, 43. I was given the percentages prior but wanted to try IUIs prior to going into IVF due to cost...

Very nice single clinic in Boca Raton. The staff and doctors are great. The only reason why I went to another clinic for IVF is because they did not have recent live births for women over 40+ (I'm 43) without donor eggs. So my friend encouraged me to look at the CDC data and we found 2 clinics in south Florida who did have these stats and contacted them for IVF.

IVF $28,000...The office [BocaFertility IVF Center] is beautiful, clean and they have a chair massage every Monday in the office but after you are impressed it's not about the office its about how competent Dr. Peress is with treating you and being successful.

For every interaction [with Dr. Moshe Peress], I had to pull teeth to get an answer, and get explanations. No compassion. No knowledge of MFI at all. Seems like every patient here goes through the same process which is a old-school approach. I would bypass the rude employees if Peress used more up-to-date protocols. Glad I didn't proceed further. I'd rather wait a little more to find a better dr than to proceed and trust in them.

I'd rather wait a little more to find a better dr than to proceed and trust in them. I was told I needed to have a small polyp removal surgery before beginning any kind of treatment. This was before we even had an answer to the MFI.
The main thing that really upset me was that when my husband did a tesa aspirate procedure with his urologist, the embryology team there said they couldnt find any sperm. The tissue pathology that was sent out to quest lab said "normal spermatogenesis". Our urologist, the next 2 urologists we consulted, and eventually the new IVF clinic we went to all said the same thing - something doesnt seem right about those result discrepancies. My gut told me something wasnt right so we never proceeded with care at this clinic.

Doctor Peress is very professional with his work. I never knew what to expect before I went there (im happy I didn't). When we got there Dr. Peress make sure that you understand everything that is going on before you go on to the next step. He made everything very smooth with the procedures.
From the moment we step in the office we felt welcome and comfortable... The atomepher is clean and makes you feel comfortable. Before you see your doctor you will be in the waiting room and if you was all worked up, by the time you see your doctor you will be nice and relaxed.

After two years of trying, we had know luck of getting pregnant. So we started to do some research and asking friends for recommendation. We were giving a list of a few fertility doctor's and in there words 'top to bottom best to worst' and of course I want the best. Boca Fertility was on the top of the list. I still did my research and saw nothing but good reviews, I called and set-up and appointment for my husband and I to see Dr. Peress. From the moment we step in the office we felt welcome and comfortable. Everyone I dealt with in that office is very professional with everything they did. I was very nerves I was going to mess up but, the nurses are so helpful and if I didn't understand they were more than happy to make sure I understood. I am so thankful and grateful I found Boca Fertility, they made my husband and I the happiest people alive. I will recommend them to anyone.

I did get educated about doing one embryo or 2 and everything made sense. My first try I did 1 and it didn't work but the next time I did 2 and one caught.
[Dr. Moshe Peress] Had tea with us during consult and was straightforward and honest on his thoughts of our best way to achieve a pregnancy. Did not rush us and answered all of our questions. He performed all ultrasounds and procedures...Best treatment for me was donor eggs due to age and ovarian reserve bring diminished. I was able to get 9 great embryos and so far had one put in which did not work:
Love the small office feel and that all procedures are done onsite [at BocaFerility IVF Center]. Only had to deal with my doctor [Dr. Moshe Peress]...He performed all ultrasounds and procedures...Dealt with one nurse...was able to personally speak and meet with the embryologist to discuss our embryos. Played relaxing music and diffuser lavender in room during transfer...It was about 15k plus the cost of meds...

The doctor advised one is safest but allowed us to do two if we chose too.
[Dr. Peress] Never would explain anything and would just repeat “I’m not god just do it again” and only spend 2 minutes with us...My last embryo transfer he dropped the catheter multiple times, the embryo was stuck in the catheter 4 times, took 2 hours, he told me a white dot on the ultrasound screen was the embryo and in the catheter still...
I some times had to follow up but most of the time they [nurses of BocaFertility IVF Center] were great and on top of it...[clinic error] They forgot to bring in my embryo the morning of my transfer so it was complete chaos trying to get it in on time...Strength was some nice staff and a beautiful office space

He [Dr. Moshe Peress] was a very kind man that always spoke to me considering my end goal of a successful pregnancy. HCG, bloodwork, SOMA-4 testing and a few other tests I can’t recall the names of. Finally when I did have a positive pregnancy test I would call them immediately and this finally (hopefully successful) pregnancy I had my progesterone checked and I was recommended progesterone supplements which I truly believe have allowed this pregnancy to successfully reach 10 weeks and I haven’t miscarried! I’m ecstatic!

He is not in a rush to get you through the process, he takes his time with meds, freezing embryos, etc...is agreeable to transferring up to two embryos...I have been a patient of Dr. Perress for a while now. I have had multiple setbacks in my fertility journey. Dr. Perress was there and continues to be there each step of the way. Each appointment he greets me with a smile and encourages me through the process.
There are only amazing things to say about Boca Fertility. From the moment you walk in the door you are greeted with the smiling face of Barbara and relaxing music playing in the background. Each and every nurse calls you by name and reassures you though the process. I have personally had the pleasure of working with Veronica, Xiomara, Ceara, Jennie and Amy. Each and every one of them is amazing. The Embryologists Patricia and Dr. Matilsky are also amazing. The special touches in the office are also well appreciated. Sharon takes particular attention to provide each patient with the extras. I truly value each person who has cheered me on through my fertility journey and feel that they have all become a part of my family. I don’t want to graduate.
