Dr. Greene was the second doctor I saw at Conceptions. The first left the practice before my first donor egg cycle. I immediately felt comfortable in his care. He was persistent in his optimism for us, and honest about our options.

He is absolutely great.

Our first attempt, we used frozen donor eggs from an egg bank. This was a direction that our first doctor recommended. We only got one embryo from that cycle and it failed to implant. We decided to try again, and Dr. Greene advised us to do a fresh cycle, plus CCS screening. From that donor we ended up with 7 tested embryos. A chemical pregnancy resulted from the first transfer. For the second, we added an endometrial scratch and intralipid therapy. That transfer took, and I'm currently pregnant.

In total, including the cost of donor eggs (one frozen cycle and one fresh) we spent around $75,000.

Dr. Greene really preferred transferring one embryo. I think had I really wanted to transfer two he would have, but they really prefer one.

Dr. Ambler was a clear communicator and was genuinely invested in my care and outcome. I felt confident in how she approached my case, we did significant testing and based on the results she presented options and recommendations for next steps. I felt confident in her care and the plan to to get to a positive pregnancy. I've gone to Dr. Ambler twice and absolutely recommend her.

Be prepared with any questions you have and she will go through them with you at your appointments. If something comes up after hours, don't be afraid to call her on-call.

We decided to move forward with IVF from the very beginning. My first cycle for egg retrieval didn't go as planned (the follicles/eggs weren't mature enough) so we needed to cancel. I was of course very disappointed, but I really appreciated that Dr. Ambler called me herself to explain what was going on and the rationale for canceling that cycle. For the next egg retrieval cycle, we were able to change my dosing so that my follicles/eggs looked great and we could move ahead confidently for the retrieval. I've gone to Dr. Ambler for 2 embryo transfers, and they were both successful. Per her recommendation, I utilized an acupuncturist for each and found that to be very relaxing.

I don't really remember but given what I know from other friends that have gone through the same thing, I think my costs were average.

In my case, Dr. Ambler recommended a single embryo transfer and I felt comfortable with her reasoning.

I never doubted his expertise or treatment recommendations. He is a top fertility doctor and that shows. I would recommend him and his clinic. Be prepared to not meet with him very often after the consult, but he is monitoring your progress . His treatment plan was extremely successful in my case.

He is blunt and forward , if you want things sugar coated, he may not be the doc for you. But his success speaks for itself .

Because of egg quality issues, I was placed on HGH during stimulation. I was also given a much reduced dosage of stim meds, due to my sky high estrogen levels that occurred on my last cycle. I was also put on a supplement protocol three months prior to my retrieval. My husband has mfi issues and was also put on supplements. We had excellent results with four normal embryos ready for transfer.

Their IVF cost is 19000 although since we had a failed cycle at another clinic , we were given a discount. They also accept insurance

We were advised to do only one embryo transfer and are completely on board for a single transfer . The risks of multiples were explained. After all the time, stress, and money that has been put into my treatment, I want to mitigate as much risk as I can .

I think he is great at what he does. I don't care much about bedside mannerisms at this point as having a child is more important to me. He took time to answer my questions, pose alternative options, be realistic about my situation and possible outcomes.

Just know he knows he's good at what he does. If you need coddling I don't think you would find it with any doctor in this industry, but I have no qualms about working with him at all.

I can't remember the name of the protocol. But I started on birth control, we did pills the first time and it suppressed me to much so we did the nuva ring the second time. Then I used menopur and follistim and ganirelix. This protocol was very similar to the one I initiated with the first doctor I saw, but I have DOR and poor egg quality. I got to retrieval, they got 8 eggs and the one that made it to freeze was genetically abnormal. On to donor eggs for the next try

I loved Dr. Ambler from the very first visit! She was so great, friendly, educated, and straight forward. When I had concerns she was available to answer my questions. She was really good at making sure I felt comfortable with what the plan was and made sure to answer all questions I had.

We went to Dr. Ambler as a LGBT couple hoping to have a baby. We started with the IUI process but after 3 failed medicated IUI cycles Dr. Ambler felt we needed to move to the next step and we agreed. We decided to do an egg retrieval with a freeze all cycle. After the retrieval, Dr. Ambler diagnosed me with poor egg quality. We had one embryo make it to freeze. Dr. Ambler wanted to move a head with the frozen transfer of our one embryo, and I am currently pregnant with our one little embryo.

Total cost for treatment including 3 IUI's, egg retrieval, frozen transfer, and medication was about 26,000

We only had one embryo to transfer so this was never and issue. Dr. Ambler wasn't completely opposed of transferring 2 embryos but I think it is very situational.

Dr. Bush definitely comes across as arrogant as I expect he is. But I have yet to come across a fertility doctor who is not. How can they not be when they are making humans! He is blunt about your prognosis, statistical likelihood of success, and the process that will be involved to get you pregnant. He is thorough, reads medical histories and pays attention to your details. Most of your contact is with the clinic staff and the nurses, but I knew Dr. Bush was overseeing the process and never felt like I couldn't get in touch with him to ask questions if need be. I met with doctors at CCRM and at another clinic in Denver and chose Dr. Bush because I felt like he really wanted to "win" (and by win, I mean get me pregnant).

Don't be turned off by his arrogance and the number of photos of him in the office. If you are a tough case, he will still take you on. I felt like CCRM wouldn't take me on because I was a tough case (I was given a less than 3% chance of getting pregnant EVEN with IVF) and they didn't want me to lower their statistics. Dr. Bush was happy to help me.

Dr.Bush was kind sometimes and cold others. I definitely felt like he wasn't interested in my questions or input but wanted to dictate my protocol. My concerns were unimportant, and I should shut up and trust him.

Many of my initial costs were covered by insurance and the billing staff was good about helping me navigate the various procedures.

He was very good at explaining the course of treatment, his staff well traned and compassionate. They truly care about us! I never felt like he was not giving me his full attention. He visited me at the hospital after I gave birth! I can not say enough about him. He is am outstanding fertility Doctor!❤️

Be prepared to prepared to feel valued as a women by a Doctor that truly cares about you and what you are going though to have a baby!

I was on a low dose of cholmed with, some HCG injections. IUI’s too. They monitored my cycle with blood work and ultrasounds for each cycle I was there being treated. They followed the blood work and ultrasounds very closely to know when to do the IUI’s. It work it only took 3 months!

We took a loan out to cover my care. We did not use all of it and the rest was returned to us.

Dr. Grob is one of the most passionate and compassionate doctors I have ever had. I’ll never forget her holding my hand and comforting me as I was being put under anesthesia for my Asherman’s surgery. Something so simple made the world of difference. Not to mention she is always keeping current on newly published studies and is even performing her own studies. I trust her and know I am in great hands with her.

Write down any questions you have ahead of time and make sure to ask them. She will never judge you for asking any questions and she takes time to answer them.

Conceptions has a package for IVF with one embryo transfer and they were able to bill my insurance. Their costs are transparent and are laid out on their website

Thus far, Dr. Natalia Grindler has been very candid, direct, and thorough in responding to my fears and explaining the risks of certain procedures. She was blunt when needed and compassionate in other areas as well. The risks and procedures are clearly explained.

Ensure that you are prepared for any and all questions, I struggled to find the words to fully understand procedures. Regardless, she is patient and will allow time for you to gather your thoughts during your visit to ensure that your concerns are heard.

Dr Grindler is caring and passionate. She explained results and procedures well and truly wants what’s best for each patient. She provided her personal email to reach out to her with any questions that may arise. My only complaint is I wish I would have seen her more often than the nurses during my IUI treatments.

The infertility journey is draining emotionally and physically and be prepared for bumps along the road.

Letrazole with IUI cycles. Earlier testing with my ultrasounds due to producing follicles quickly and history of cysts.

Dr. Bush wanted to get me a baby but I had my worst retrieval with him. He was very confident that his menopur only protocol would yield me great results. I got zero embryos on day 5 and was devastated. When we did the regroup he was a little defensive and suggested donor eggs. I felt that he gave up on me. I was also very raw and emotional. I think he is a brilliant doctor and insanely smart but not the right doctor for me.

He is really smart and wants you to be a mom but he is really blunt and fact driven which can come across as harsh or stern.

We did estrogen to prime with cetrotide. Then HGH and high dosage of menopur. I was on 9 menopur vials a day. I retrieved 12, 4 fertilized and 0 made it to day 5.

She was warm and answered all of our questions thoroughly - and we had a lot! She also was up to date in the latest research, and engaged with me about my own research. She delivered some difficult news with compassion and worked with me to figure out next steps.

First Dr Ambler ordered a battery of tests for me and my husband. I was diagnosed with PCOS and type 2 diabetes. First, I had to get the diabetes under control - Dr Ambler prescribed metformin and referred me to an endocrinologist. After several months, I was able to resume treatment with Dr Ambler. She prescribed femara with a trigger shot, and I also had appointments for monitoring. The first cycle did not result in pregnancy, so we decided to try again. If that cycle had not resulted in pregnancy (it did!), Dr Ambler mentioned that we would begin to consider other alternatives. Since my problem was that I was not ovulating, we would skipped IUI and probably moved to IVF.

Very low costs - my insurance covered diagnostics. I paid for prescriptions.

She is a little blunt, and keeps her consultations quick and in and out. I could’ve stood for a little more compassion. But she is very smart. I did trust her with my treatment. I will use her should I opt for a second round.

Prepare for cut to the chase straight forward answers. You’ll get them.

Gosh it was the most convenient ever. I went in at my leisure, and was immediately seen.

One round of egg retrieval, and FET was upwards of 20,000 plus meds. We cannot afford to do this a second time, sadly, and we only got one embryo.

Dr. Greene has been candid and friendly. He has taken the time to discuss all of our options in non-medical detail. He is always available for questions. Overall we have been very pleased. While we are still undergoing treatment, thus far he has exceeded our expectations. In each visit, he reminds us his primary concern is not speed of treatment but the health of the child.

Be direct and candied with Dr. Greene. He is a great communicator and the more direct you are, the quicker you will arrive at solutions.

Billing is only ok; not as straight forward as it could be. That said, we have not been over billed - they are just a little slow.

Dr. Greene advised for transferring only one embryo at a time.

It felt very methodical and not warm or welcoming at all. I left the visit feeling deeply uncomfortable and frustrated. We were not greeted with any questions or warmth when we came in. It seemed that the desire was to just run a battery of tests on us and keep it moving.

This journey is emotional enough as it is - seek another doctor who is more compassionate.

Dr. O was a tremendous doctor to work with during our journey. We had several attempts with donor eggs and a surrogate to bring our now son into the world and Dr. O was always very direct with the treatment plan and our options in every step of the way. We always felt that Dr. O had our best interests in mind and would come to us with new options when the attempts didn't work as planned and the best path forward to achieve our ultimate goal.

Very confusing ...

It’s too soon in the process for me to fully evaluate Dr. Bush or Conceptions Reproductive Clinic. However, I feel that the treatment protocol I am on has been very personal and customized for me, and according to the staff, Dr. Bush has been personally and actively involved on a daily basis (during active retrieval cycles) in every decision to make adjustments along the way. I chose this clinic because it had the highest rate of success for live birth in the country. I also wAs encouraged when Dr. Bush told me that he didn’t see any reason I couldn’t be successful (after I had had a retrieval cycle canceled by another doctor and told that I would likely have to pursue an egg donor rather than being able to retrieve my own eggs). So far I have had two full retrieval cycles with Dr Bush which have resulted in 2 frozen embryos. That said, one important thing to mention is that so far Dr Bush himself has not performed either of the retrieval procedures. This clinic has 4 doctors, and they alternate days in which they perform retrievals. So it just so happens that both times I have been scheduled for retrieval, I ended up with two other doctors from the clinic. The first one I was extremely impressed with as he took time with me and my husband before and after the procedure and the procedure itself went very well. Unfortunately the second procedure had complications and the doctor who performed it did not have a good bedside manner. This doctor seemed rushed as well as vague in her explanation as to why there were complications.

Learn as much as you can on your own regarding what to expect throughout the process, and don’t be afraid to reach out to your assigned nurse and/ or Dr. Bush with all your questions.

Antagonist protocol for both retrieval cycles. Cycle 1: Testosterone gel beginning on 2nd day of natural menstrual cycle and administered for 10 days thereafter. Birth control pill beginning on 3rd day of natural menstrual cycle for 16 days. Omnitrope growth hormone (1 vial) injected daily for 18 days, beginning on 10th day after natural menstrual cycle. After another menstrual cycle induced by stopping birth control after 15 days, stimulation hormones begin 3 days later. Then, 150 (2 vials) of Menopur daily to start, increased to 300 (4 vials) daily on the 5th day of atom medications. 450 of Gonal-F daily throughout. Cetrotide on the 7th day of stims. 9 days after starting Menopur and Gonal-F, was asked to stop those and Pregnyl and Leuprolide trigger meds administered on the 10th day of stims. (10 days after starting Menopur and Gonal-F). One more shot of leuprolide on the morning of Day 11. Exactly 36 hours after first trigger shots, the retrieval was performed. 9 follicles, 6 mature eggs. All 6 eggs fertilized using ICSI. 2 out of 6 grew to the 5-day blastocyst stage, graded 5AA and 5AB. They were sent for genetic testing and the 5AA came back normal/euploid and was frozen. The other one was aneuploid. Cycle 2: Exactly the same protocol as the first cycle with the following modifications / additional meds: Dexamethasone steroid (orally) started a couple days before stim meds. Clomid started orally on the same day/ time as the Menopur (first day of stim meds). Menopur started right away at 300 units (4 vials) and Gonal-F only 300 units (down from 450 last time). Also, Cetrotide started one day earlier (Day 6 of stims). Trigger meds were administered after 8 days of stim meds, which was 2 days earlier than last time meaning the whole cycle was 2 days shorter. Results: 13 follicles, 6 mature eggs. All 6 fertilized using ICSI. 5 reached full blastocyst (1 one 5th day growth and 4 on 6th day of growth). All were BB graded. 5 sent for genetic testing. 1 came back normal/ euploid.

Around $17000 per retrieval cycle for the coordination of care, embryo cryopreservation, genetic testing, and the retrieval procedure itself. Plus, around $7500 for prescription medications, including the omnitrope growth hormone (18 day supply) and all the follicle stimulating and trigger meds. And another $500 for recommended supplements per cycle. I am fortunate that my health insurance picked up a great deal of these costs.

She was fine. Not particularly warm, but I didn’t need that at the beginning. I only saw her at the beginning of the process—once I was in a cycle, I didn’t see her at all. Be prepared to be your own advocate

I was prescribed Letrazole to build my lining and estrace and progesterone as well as a trigger shot. The first time, the trigger shot made me horribly ill

She is very knowledgeable and has reasonings behind everything she does. Sometimes I felt like I wasn’t being heard but I think that was due to her using science and studies as opposed to my own findings.

Due to unexplained infertility we were given a moderate dose of medication and we had none left over. She was very precise in her plan.

From other people I have heard she has achieved much success. We are still waiting to know if our one embryo has been a success. I never felt like she had much empathy though or had much emotional investment in what happened which I think there could be more of.

Ask many questions and expect concise and to the point.

The clinic as a whole only recommends single embryo transfer but will do multiple embryo transfer if you push for it.

She was always kind and compassionate. Answered all our questions with honesty. Treated us like people and made us feel like she wanted this for us as badly as we wanted it for ourselves. Easy to talk to and get in contact with.

Be open and prepared for her to be candidly honest

Medicated Cycles of timed intercourse with Clomid and trigger. IUI was not done due to me only having one tube. Given the unpredictable nature of my cycle, Dr. O thought it best to not waste time, resources or money on that treatment option.

If I asked him something or for something and his answer was no, he provided me with concrete evidence as to why the answer is no. I often emailed him and asked for his opinion or advice on something and he got back to me very quickly

You're making the right choice. He is in my opinion the best doctor out there for infertility treatment.

My first egg retrieval left us with zero embryos due to poor egg quality. He was able to convince me to try again and changed my protocol to higher doses of stimulating medications and also primed me with estrogen and human growth hormone which was a total game changer. We walked away with three embryos, two euploid and I am currently pregnant.

He has reasonable expectations and won’t force unnecessary and inaccurate rules on you that can cause additional stress. He is informative and always available for questions. He is direct but empathic and we are thankful we found Dr. Greene to help us through this journey.

We did an IUI with Letrozle. This cycle failed. We proceeded with an antagonist IVF cycle in 1 month later. We were diagnosed as “unexplained” and did not have any reason to suspect I would be a poor responder. We started with 1 vial menopur and 150 gonal f per day. After 4 days this was increased to 3 menopur and 150 gonal f. We retrieved 11 eggs, 9 mature and ended with 1 pgs tested embryo. We went immediately into a second cycle with testosterone gel and bcp, 2 menopur, 225 gonal f and .8 HGH per day. We had a much better response and retrieved 13 eggs, 11 mature and 2 pgs tested embryos. After the first cycle they saw poor egg quality and poor sperm quality. We are waiting to schedule our FET.

Self pay is about $16k excluding medications. My medication was between $3,000-$4,000 per IVF cycle.

Conceptions highly recommends pgs testing and transferring a single embryo for most patients.
