This is the most recent data from the CDC. The CDC cautions that it should not be used to compare doctors and clinics. This data represents the outcomes of IVF cycles when using a person's own eggs.
For more information please see our FAQs.
Where you see a “?” on the chart, a clinic has done fewer than 20 cycles in this category and age range, so the CDC says showing percentages from this small data set would be misleading and unreliable.
Dr. Greene is a caring, patient physician. He has an amazing bedside manner, and I always felt like my case was important to him. He never rushed through appointments, and always took time to answer all of my questions. At time, pulling in his peers to help gain insight.... Dr. Greene advised us to do a fresh cycle, plus CCS screening. From that donor we ended up with 7 tested embryos. A chemical pregnancy resulted from the first transfer. For the second, we added an endometrial scratch and intralipid therapy. That transfer took, and I'm currently pregnant.
The donor egg team [at Conceptions Reproductive Associates] has 3 nurses, but I primarily worked with Cori. I absolutely adore these women. They have so much compassion, are quick to respond to questions and incredible patient. They really made a horrible diagnosis manageable.... In total, including the cost of donor eggs (one frozen cycle and one fresh) we spent around $75,000.
How was your experience with Robert Greene at RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates?
Dr. Greene was the second doctor I saw at Conceptions. The first left the practice before my first donor egg cycle. I immediately felt comfortable in his care. He was persistent in his optimism for us, and honest about our options.

Describe the protocols Robert Greene used in your cycles at RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates and their degree of success.
Our first attempt, we used frozen donor eggs from an egg bank. This was a direction that our first doctor recommended. We only got one embryo from that cycle and it failed to implant. We decided to try again, and Dr.

Dr. Ambler was a clear communicator and was genuinely invested in my care and outcome. I felt confident in how she approached my case, we did significant testing and based on the results she presented options and recommendations for next steps.....My first cycle for egg retrieval didn't go as planned (the follicles/eggs weren't mature enough) so we needed to cancel. I was of course very disappointed, but I really appreciated that Dr. Ambler called me herself to explain what was going on and the rationale for canceling that cycle.
Clinic [Conceptions] seems to be adjusting to an increased volume of patients, so they are working through some protocol updates. Missy, at the front desk, is fantastic...Nursing staff had a good attitude and was very prompt/communicative. I liked working with them...Just one time a nurse (who is no longer at the clinic) failed to call in a prescription for my pre-natal vitamins. I called to ask about it and they corrected it immediately...

Describe the protocols Dana Ambler used in your cycles at RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates and their degree of success.
We decided to move forward with IVF from the very beginning. My first cycle for egg retrieval didn't go as planned (the follicles/eggs weren't mature enough) so we needed to cancel. I was of course very disappointed, but I really appreciated that Dr. Ambler called me herself to explain what was going on and the rationale for canceling that cycle. For the next egg retrieval cycle, we were able to change my dosing so that my follicles/eggs looked great and we could move ahead confidently for the retrieval. I've gone to Dr. Ambler for 2 embryo transfers, and they were both successful. Per her recommendation, I utilized an acupuncturist for each and found that to be very relaxing.

Doctor Bush comes off as abrupt and can speak above your head;however, he is extremely knowledgeable and seems passionate about what he does. ...I never doubted his expertise or treatment recommendations. He is a top fertility doctor and that shows. I would recommend him and his clinic. Be prepared to not meet with him very often after the consult, but he is monitoring your progress...Because of egg quality issues, I was placed on HGH during stimulation.
It is a busy clinic [Conceptions] so you will not have the personal connections you may get with a smaller clinic. But they have an excellent lab and are extremely organized. You will not wait for appointments, and will always know the next step well I advance...All the nurses are extremely caring and responsive...Their IVF cost is 19000 although since we had a failed cycle at another clinic , we were given a discount. Describe the protocols Mark Bush used in your cycles at RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates and their degree of success.
Because of egg quality issues, I was placed on HGH during stimulation. I was also given a much reduced dosage of stim meds, due to my sky high estrogen levels that occurred on my last cycle. I was also put on a supplement protocol three months prior to my retrieval. My husband has mfi issues and was also put on supplements. We had excellent results with four normal embryos ready for transfer.

Describe Mark Bush's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates.
We were advised to do only one embryo transfer and are completely on board for a single transfer . The risks of multiples were explained. After all the time, stress, and money that has been put into my treatment, I want to mitigate as much risk as I can .
I have DOR and poor egg quality. I got to retrieval [ with Dr.Mark Bush], they got 8 eggs and the one that made it to freeze was genetically abnormal. On to donor eggs for the next try...I think he is great at what he does. I don't care much about bedside mannerisms at this point as having a child is more important to me. He took time to answer my questions, pose alternative options, be realistic about my situation and possible outcomes.

Describe the protocols Mark Bush used in your cycles at RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates and their degree of success.
I can't remember the name of the protocol. But I started on birth control, we did pills the first time and it suppressed me to much so we did the nuva ring the second time. Then I used menopur and follistim and ganirelix. This protocol was very similar to the one I initiated with the first doctor I saw, but I have DOR and poor egg quality. I got to retrieval, they got 8 eggs and the one that made it to freeze was genetically abnormal. On to donor eggs for the next try

I loved Dr. Ambler from the very first visit! She was so great, friendly, educated, and straight forward. When I had concerns she was available to answer my questions. She was really good at making sure I felt comfortable with what the plan was and made sure to answer all questions I had...We went to Dr. Ambler as a LGBT couple hoping to have a baby. We started with the IUI process but after 3 failed medicated IUI cycles Dr. Ambler felt we needed to move to the next step and we agreed. We decided to do an egg retrieval with a freeze all cycle.
The front desk staff at the Denver office [Conceptions] is very friendly and great. The front desk staff at the Littleton office isn't as friendly, they whisper about other co-workers and patients. The billing department is probably the worst part of the clinic.... I felt more like a dollar sign. I would get bills and phone calls about treatment that had already been paid for....I really enjoyed most of the nurses that I interacted with at Conceptions. The one thing I didn't like is that you had a different nurse at each stage of your cycle. They were all very knowledgeable.

We decided to do an egg retrieval with a freeze all cycle. After the retrieval, Dr. Ambler diagnosed me with poor egg quality. We had one embryo make it to freeze. Dr. Ambler wanted to move a head with the frozen transfer of our one embryo, and I am currently pregnant with our one little embryo.

What specific things went wrong at RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates?
Provided conflicting information
Describe the specific things that went wrong at RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates.
I paid upfront for my entire cycle, including frozen transfer. This information was never put into my chart so every time I went to the clinic I was being asked for money. I was told on more than one occasion that I hadn't yet paid for the frozen transfer.
Dr. Bush is blunt and arrogant, but he is detailed, has read your files and is prepared for your individual situation when you meet him, and will do what he can to help you. CCRM told me they thought I should move immediately to donor eggs and essentially said I was a lost cause, but Dr. Bush was willing to treat me and do what he could to help me get pregnant.
Most of your contact is with the clinic staff and the nurses, but I knew Dr. Bush was overseeing the process and never felt like I couldn't get in touch with him to ask questions if need be... they called when they said they would, they provided test results as soon as possible, they e-mailed if you preferred that method of communication, and they were willing to accommodate extra sensitivities and be appropriately sympathetic. I couldn't have asked for better communication, empathy, and attention to detail.
How was your experience with Mark Bush at RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates?
Dr. Bush definitely comes across as arrogant as I expect he is. But I have yet to come across a fertility doctor who is not. How can they not be when they are making humans! He is blunt about your prognosis, statistical likelihood of success, and the process that will be involved to get you pregnant. He is thorough, reads medical histories and pays attention to your details. Most of your contact is with the clinic staff and the nurses, but I knew Dr. Bush was overseeing the process and never felt like I couldn't get in touch with him to ask questions if need be. I met with doctors at CCRM and at another clinic in Denver and chose Dr. Bush because I felt like he really wanted to "win" (and by win, I mean get me pregnant).
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Mark Bush at RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates?
Don't be turned off by his arrogance and the number of photos of him in the office.
If you are a tough case, he will still take you on. I felt like CCRM wouldn't take me on because I was a tough case (I was given a less than 3% chance of getting pregnant EVEN with IVF) and they didn't want me to lower their statistics. Dr. Bush was happy to help me.

CCRM told me they thought I should move immediately to donor eggs and essentially said I was a lost cause, but Dr. Bush was willing to treat me and do what he could to help me get pregnant. I had a 3" stack of test results, notes from other doctors, and medical history and he had read through it all prior to our meeting. When I had a stillborn baby due to a blood clot, he was empathetic and again read all of my hospital records to ensure that he could safely guide us through IVF with my added medical complications. He isn't "warm and fuzzy," but he definitely treated me like a human and he wants you to get pregnant.

Dr.Bush was kind sometimes and cold others. I definitely felt like he wasn't interested in my questions or input but wanted to dictate my protocol. My concerns were unimportant...He was so kind during my miscarriage. I lost twins at 13 weeks and was just destroyed over it. He was the on call doctor I spoke to at 4am while bleeding. He did my DnC. He was compassionate and I appreciated it. I did more IUI cycles and had a failed IVF retrieval. My last meeting with Dr.Bush was terrible. He got mad at me for asking questions about why the embryos died and spent the whole hour bashing on another local clinic. I felt bullied, talked down to and felt like I was being given hard sales pitch.
The embryology lab is weak. My 15 retrieved embryos all died. Todd in the lab called to tell me the awful news and he was so nonchalant. I was 40 so what did I expect? Old, crappy eggs produced bad embryos. He seemed surprised that I cried. I was realistic about my eggs but I had hope. He made me feel foolish.... As far as strengths, their nursing staff was nice despite high turnover. They returned calls promptly....I was assigned a different nurse every week it seemed like. The turnover was high so I never really built up a rapport with anyone. They were all nice and seemed knowledgeable.

When meeting Dr. Natalia Grindler for the first time, she was very attentive to hearing my history and ensuring to ask for questions to fully understand. She was empathetic and caring when I struggled to share my history. She was very kind and was sure to mirror my tone as to ensure that she was listening to my story.... Thus far, Dr. Natalia Grindler has been very candid, direct, and thorough in responding to my fears and explaining the risks of certain procedures. She was blunt when needed and compassionate in other areas as well. The risks and procedures are clearly explained.
overall, I feel that the expectation has been set that Conceptions is the standard for infertility treatments. They are clear robust and provide a lot of data to support and back their results methods. I feel confident that I am in a good place.... I feel as though Erika has been very communicative, thorough, and clear with the timeline and expectations of me. The COVID-19 issue did cause some hiccups as far as the communication went; not at the fault of the nurse but it was hard to get a hold of anyone.

Dr Grindler is caring and passionate. She explained results and procedures well and truly wants what’s best for each patient. She provided her personal email to reach out to her with any questions that may arise. My only complaint is I wish I would have seen her more often than the nurses during my IUI treatments...Letrazole with IUI cycles. Earlier testing with my ultrasounds due to producing follicles quickly and history of cysts.
My strongest complaint [with Conceptions Reproductive Associates] was the miscommunication or inconsistent communication regarding calling to report day 1 of menses and the on call/weekend protocol...$2,000 for polyp removal. $3,000+ for 2 rounds of IUI...The weaknesses of the clinic include lack of communication, difficulty reaching someone by phone, and slow to return calls. Communication was much stronger during my initial contact and Consultation.

Describe the specific things that went wrong at RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates.
My strongest complaint was the miscommunication or inconsistent communication regarding calling to report day 1 of menses and the on call/weekend protocol .
Dr. Bush wanted to get me a baby but I had my worst retrieval with him. He was very confident that his menopur only protocol would yield me great results. I got zero embryos on day 5 and was devastated. When we did the regroup he was a little defensive and suggested donor eggs. I felt that he gave up on me. I was also very raw and emotional. I think he is a brilliant doctor and insanely smart but not the right doctor for me...he is really blunt and fact driven which can come across as harsh or stern.
She [nurse at Conceptions Reproductive Associates - Denver] is my guardian angel. On my worst days she picked me up. Every email had a note that was encouraging and how were in this together. I absolutely love her...Strengths are its extremely organized and well run. Very prompt responses and truly everyone cares. I honestly don't see weaknesses. Dr. Bush wasn't right for mr so Erika my nurse suggested Dr. Ambler and were a match made in heaven. Same clinic and I trust them for another retrieval.

First Dr Ambler ordered a battery of tests for me and my husband. I was diagnosed with PCOS and type 2 diabetes. First, I had to get the diabetes under control - Dr Ambler prescribed metformin and referred me to an endocrinologist. After several months, I was able to resume treatment with Dr Ambler. She prescribed femara with a trigger shot, and I also had appointments for monitoring. The first cycle did not result in pregnancy, so we decided to try again. If that cycle had not resulted in pregnancy (it did!), Dr Ambler mentioned that we would begin to consider other alternatives. Since my problem was that I was not ovulating, we would skipped IUI and probably moved to IVF.

Prepare for cut to the chase straight forward answers. You’ll get them [from Dr. Althea O'Shaughnessy]...You barely work with the doctor. It’s the nurses start to finish...She is a little blunt, and keeps her consultations quick and in and out. I could’ve stood for a little more compassion. But she is very smart. I did trust her with my treatment. I will use her should I opt for a second round.

Dr. Greene has been candid and friendly. He has taken the time to discuss all of our options in non-medical detail. He is always available for questions. Overall we have been very pleased. While we are still undergoing treatment, thus far he has exceeded our expectations. In each visit, he reminds us his primary concern is not speed of treatment but the health of the child.
We visited the Denver clinic [of Conceptions Reproductive Associates]. It’s not nearly as fancy as CCRM but they treat you like a person not a number. We did not wait very long to see the Doctor and the staff was professional and helpful. They were also easy to schedule.... Billing is only ok; not as straight forward as it could be. That said, we have not been over billed - they are just a little slow.

There were no pleasantries with Dr. O'Shaughnessy. We went directly into her office where she rapid fired questions at us and then prescribed a number of labs, even though I brought in recent lab work that contained the same information. In an already stressful process her bedside manner was seriously lacking. She asked no questions about our goals, what we had tried previously or what information would be most helpful to us. We waited a long period after our initial appointment time to be seen - instead of being apologetic, she complained about how busy she is.

It felt very methodical and not warm or welcoming at all. I left the visit feeling deeply uncomfortable and frustrated. We were not greeted with any questions or warmth when we came in. It seemed that the desire was to just run a battery of tests on us and keep it moving.

While I have only seen Dr. Bush in person one time, he took a great deal of time with me explaining the science behind the treatment protocol. He asked many questions of me and allowed me plenty of time to ask questions. The nurses who have seen me throughout my 2 egg retrieval cycles have indicated that Dr. Bush was carefully reviewing my progress every day during the stimulation hormone phase and was adjusting my protocol throughout based on my personal circumstances and how I was responding...told me that he didn’t see any reason I couldn’t be successful (after I had had a retrieval cycle canceled by another doctor and told that I would likely have to pursue an egg donor rather than being able to retrieve my own eggs). So far I have had two full retrieval cycles with Dr Bush which have resulted in 2 frozen embryos.
They [nurses at Conceptions Reproductive Associates] are relatively easy to get ahold of 24/7 which is comforting when questions or issues come up. The answering service does a good job of getting a message to someone right away who calls you back. I have felt the nursing staff at the actual egg retrieval procedures have been a little cold and like they were rushing you to leave...Around $17000 per retrieval cycle for the coordination of care, embryo cryopreservation, genetic testing, and the retrieval procedure itself...Billing errors and wasted time on the phone to sort out these errors with my insurance company and the billing office causes a lot of extra stress at a time when when low stress is so important. The nursing staff has been outstanding and my assigned nurse in particular is extremely thorough and caring. I am satisfied with my doctor.
How was your experience with Mark Bush at RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates?
It’s too soon in the process for me to fully evaluate Dr. Bush or Conceptions Reproductive Clinic. However, I feel that the treatment protocol I am on has been very personal and customized for me, and according to the staff, Dr. Bush has been personally and actively involved on a daily basis (during active retrieval cycles) in every decision to make adjustments along the way. I chose this clinic because it had the highest rate of success for live birth in the country. I also wAs encouraged when Dr. Bush told me that he didn’t see any reason I couldn’t be successful (after I had had a retrieval cycle canceled by another doctor and told that I would likely have to pursue an egg donor rather than being able to retrieve my own eggs). So far I have had two full retrieval cycles with Dr Bush which have resulted in 2 frozen embryos.
That said, one important thing to mention is that so far Dr Bush himself has not performed either of the retrieval procedures. This clinic has 4 doctors, and they alternate days in which they perform retrievals. So it just so happens that both times I have been scheduled for retrieval, I ended up with two other doctors from the clinic. The first one I was extremely impressed with as he took time with me and my husband before and after the procedure and the procedure itself went very well. Unfortunately the second procedure had complications and the doctor who performed it did not have a good bedside manner. This doctor seemed rushed as well as vague in her explanation as to why there were complications.

Antagonist protocol for both retrieval cycles.
Cycle 1: Testosterone gel beginning on 2nd day of natural menstrual cycle and administered for 10 days thereafter. Birth control pill beginning on 3rd day of natural menstrual cycle for 16 days. Omnitrope growth hormone (1 vial) injected daily for 18 days, beginning on 10th day after natural menstrual cycle. After another menstrual cycle induced by stopping birth control after 15 days, stimulation hormones begin 3 days later. Then, 150 (2 vials) of Menopur daily to start, increased to 300 (4 vials) daily on the 5th day of atom medications. 450 of Gonal-F daily throughout. Cetrotide on the 7th day of stims. 9 days after starting Menopur and Gonal-F, was asked to stop those and Pregnyl and Leuprolide trigger meds administered on the 10th day of stims. (10 days after starting Menopur and Gonal-F). One more shot of leuprolide on the morning of Day 11. Exactly 36 hours after first trigger shots, the retrieval was performed. 9 follicles, 6 mature eggs. All 6 eggs fertilized using ICSI. 2 out of 6 grew to the 5-day blastocyst stage, graded 5AA and 5AB. They were sent for genetic testing and the 5AA came back normal/euploid and was frozen. The other one was aneuploid.
Cycle 2: Exactly the same protocol as the first cycle with the following modifications / additional meds:
Dexamethasone steroid (orally) started a couple days before stim meds.
Clomid started orally on the same day/ time as the Menopur (first day of stim meds). Menopur started right away at 300 units (4 vials) and Gonal-F only 300 units (down from 450 last time). Also, Cetrotide started one day earlier (Day 6 of stims). Trigger meds were administered after 8 days of stim meds, which was 2 days earlier than last time meaning the whole cycle was 2 days shorter. Results: 13 follicles, 6 mature eggs. All 6 fertilized using ICSI. 5 reached full blastocyst (1 one 5th day growth and 4 on 6th day of growth). All were BB graded. 5 sent for genetic testing. 1 came back normal/ euploid.

My nurse and the staff for the most part has been outstanding. They are caring, thorough and respond quickly when messages are left or emails are sent. They are relatively easy to get ahold of 24/7 which is comforting when questions or issues come up. The answering service does a good job of getting a message to someone right away who calls you back. I have felt the nursing staff at the actual egg retrieval procedures have been a little cold and like they were rushing you to leave. Certainly not the same bedside manner with this staff as the nurses and staff who handle the protocol and the daily blood draws and ultrasound who are as personable and kind as can be.
The financial staff has a lot of room for improvement. They have made multiple errors and the billing in general is extremely confusing and misleading in terms of how the invoicing is managed.
Describe your experience with RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates.
The greatest weakness I have seen so far with this clinic is with their billing system and financial staff. They make so many errors and don’t seem to have their act together at all. Billing errors and wasted time on the phone to sort out these errors with my insurance company and the billing office causes a lot of extra stress at a time when when low stress is so important.
The nursing staff has been outstanding and my assigned nurse in particular is extremely thorough and caring. I am satisfied with my doctor. Although I have only had one personal visit /interaction with him, he seems to be very involved in overseeing my protocol. It is too soon to be able to fully evaluate the clinic as I’ve only just completed egg retrieval cycles to freeze embryos. I have not yet attempted the first transfer.
Describe the costs associated with your care under Mark Bush at RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates.
Around $17000 per retrieval cycle for the coordination of care, embryo cryopreservation, genetic testing, and the retrieval procedure itself. Plus, around $7500 for prescription medications, including the omnitrope growth hormone (18 day supply) and all the follicle stimulating and trigger meds. And another $500 for recommended supplements per cycle. I am fortunate that my health insurance picked up a great deal of these costs.
She [Dr. O'Shaughnessy] was fine. Not particularly warm, but I didn’t need that at the beginning. I only saw her at the beginning of the process—once I was in a cycle, I didn’t see her at all. Because of that I don’t have anything else to write... I was prescribed Letrazole to build my lining and estrace and progesterone as well as a trigger shot. The first time, the trigger shot made me horribly ill
The reception staff [Conceptions Reproductive Associates] is not very professional and I overheard questions for other patients about health and billing from the staff on multiple occasions.... Although my main nurse was great, I got the sense that they didn’t communicate very well. My nurse had no idea that I called the after-hours nurse when I got really sick from the trigger shot.

Although my main nurse was great, I got the sense that they didn’t communicate very well. My nurse had no idea that I called the after-hours nurse when I got really sick from the trigger shot. There were varying levels of professionalism- one technician loudly said “I’ve never seen that before!” During an X-ray in which I was in stirrups and my uterus was pumped full of liquid.
Describe your experience with RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates.
The reception staff is not very professional and I overheard questions for other patients about health and billing from the staff on multiple occasions. They also ask for payment on the same day as an IUI, which is understandable (I’m not asking them not to bill me for services rendered), but it’s already a really stressful day, and especially for single patients, there has to be a more delicate way to handle this

Although I know how babies are made, the details of this process are overwhelming. I didn’t always get consistent messaging about what was going on with my body or the best way to move forward.
She [Dr. Natalia Grob] is very knowledgeable and has reasonings behind everything she does. Sometimes I felt like I wasn’t being heard but I think that was due to her using science and studies as opposed to my own findings...Due to unexplained infertility we were given a moderate dose of medication and we had none left over. She was very precise in her plan.
Conceptions is very responsive. The front desk ladies are very helpful and scheduling and rescheduling appointments. The office was always on time and I never had to wait more than 5 minutes for appointments. This was a plus so I could get in and out quickly before work...AMAZING [nurses]. I couldn’t have done it without any of them. They are all so positive, compassionate and available. Loved them.

She was very scripted in her answers. Not the best warm and fuzzy feeling but she gave you the statistics and her recommendations. I truly trusted her and her approach.

Conceptions is very responsive. The front desk ladies are very helpful and scheduling and rescheduling appointments. The office was always on time and I never had to wait more than 5 minutes for appointments. This was a plus so I could get in and out quickly before work.

Describe Natalia Grob's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates.
[Dr. Althea O'Shaughnessy] is very blunt and to the point. She talks to you more than just a number but is not overly empathetic in the way she discusses treatment...She did always take the time to describe anything we asked and did not appear to rush us. I never felt like she had much empathy though or had much emotional investment in what happened which I think there could be more of...she seems very thorough
All the staff [at Conceptions Reproductive Associates of Colorado] are helpful and friendly. If they are not able to help they point you in the right direction and give you more information. They appear upfront with costs. Overall our experience at this clinic has been great...[the nursing staff] were very thorough, listened well and responded fairly quickly with questions or results...The clinic as a whole only recommends single embryo transfer but will do multiple embryo transfer if you push for it.
How was your experience with Althea O'Shaughnessy at RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates?
From other people I have heard she has achieved much success. We are still waiting to know if our one embryo has been a success. She is recommending additional testing, etc. since we only have one embryo so she seems very thorough. She did always take the time to describe anything we asked and did not appear to rush us. I never felt like she had much empathy though or had much emotional investment in what happened which I think there could be more of.

She [Dr. O'Shaughnessy] was always kind and compassionate. Answered all our questions with honesty. Treated us like people and made us feel like she wanted this for us as badly as we wanted it for ourselves. Easy to talk to and get in contact with....Medicated Cycles of timed intercourse with Clomid and trigger. IUI was not done due to me only having one tube. Given the unpredictable nature of my cycle, Dr. O thought it best to not waste time, resources or money on that treatment option.
Multiple locations with varied hours, including weekends. Might have to drive a little bit but they [Conceptions Reproductive Associates] try to be very accommodating and accessible. Staff moves around so your team will always be where you need them... Amazingly kind. Easy to get a hold of and always answered questions in a timely manner. Always communicated when they would be out and who their replacement was.

Dr. Greene was so knowledgable, he is very thorough and always answered all of my questions without hesitation. If I asked him something or for something and his answer was no, he provided me with concrete evidence as to why the answer is no. ... He was able to convince me to try again and changed my protocol to higher doses of stimulating medications and also primed me with estrogen and human growth hormone which was a total game changer.
I feel that the nursing communication was the hardest part about dealing with Conceptions. ... I was able to get in quickly for a new appointment and had minimal issues getting in for follow ups. They were very flexible during my retrieval and needing to have special timed appointments. I absolutely love Sonja the ultrasound tech and Daquiri and her partner (can't remember name). I loved Malissa and Lindsey the front desk girls. They kept things seamless and smooth for me.

You're making the right choice. He is in my opinion the best doctor out there for infertility treatment.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Robert Greene at RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates?
Dr. Green is one of the most compassionate and understanding people I have ever met in my life, let alone a doctor. He has held my hand during our meetings with him because I was so absolutely terrified and he always offers the most heartfelt advice. He truly cares about his patients and your results.
Describe the protocols Robert Greene used in your cycles at RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates and their degree of success.
My first egg retrieval left us with zero embryos due to poor egg quality. He was able to convince me to try again and changed my protocol to higher doses of stimulating medications and also primed me with estrogen and human growth hormone which was a total game changer. We walked away with three embryos, two euploid and I am currently pregnant.

I feel that the nursing communication was the hardest part about dealing with Conceptions. The doctors were great, the ultrasound technician and phlebotomist were great but I did struggle with the nurses. The way Conceptions is set up is that you communicate solely with your nurse and they are the ones that decide whether or not to contact the doctor or follow their protocols. I struggled with this because I wanted to know that the actual doctor was driving my care and not a nurse. It felt a bit that I was overlooked as a patient in these times but it all ended up working out. They do know what they are doing after all but it was hard for me to trust that.

Describe Robert Greene's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates.
I never asked to transfer two embryos. It was recommended that I transfer one and that is what we did.
[Dr. Robert Greene] seemed excited to work with us and help us grow a family. He remembered little details about our lives which is impressive with the amount of patients he has...data driven which we appreciated. He provides facts, studies and information from personal experience when creating a plan for you...We were diagnosed as “unexplained” and did not have any reason to suspect I would be a poor responder...After the first cycle they saw poor egg quality and poor sperm quality...
With multiple [Conceptions Reproductive Associates] clinics throughout the Denver area, appointments are easy! I could visit the location closest to me for daily appointments which was a huge help when balancing IVF and a full time job...[nurse] even helped me with finding some donated medication to help when my pharmacy didn’t ship my medication on time...Self pay is about $16k excluding medications. My medication was between $3,000-$4,000 per IVF cycle.

Describe the protocols Robert Greene used in your cycles at RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates and their degree of success.
We did an IUI with Letrozle. This cycle failed. We proceeded with an antagonist IVF cycle in 1 month later. We were diagnosed as “unexplained” and did not have any reason to suspect I would be a poor responder. We started with 1 vial menopur and 150 gonal f per day. After 4 days this was increased to 3 menopur and 150 gonal f. We retrieved 11 eggs, 9 mature and ended with 1 pgs tested embryo. We went immediately into a second cycle with testosterone gel and bcp, 2 menopur, 225 gonal f and .8 HGH per day. We had a much better response and retrieved 13 eggs, 11 mature and 2 pgs tested embryos. After the first cycle they saw poor egg quality and poor sperm quality. We are waiting to schedule our FET.

My IVF nurse, Lindsay, was wonderful. She was always very warm and friendly. She responded quickly to my emails and calls and even helped me with finding some donated medication to help when my pharmacy didn’t ship my medication on time. She saved me! She also helped us when we were highly stressed over doing a second cycle or not. She was patient and understanding. I can’t thank her enough!
