Dr. Lee had good reviews on FertilityIQ and good outcomes on the SART website, which is why I chose him. He would answer any and all questions I had. He gave honest feedback on treatment where he didn't think benefits would outweigh cost for me (i.e., PRP, HGH, etc.). He was also open to adjusting/alternative treatment when things weren't working. I wanted to try Zymot with my 3rd retrieval which he didn't recommended, but he still respected my decision to do move forward with it. I also suggested an antihistamine protocol (which I learned about from other IVF warriors) and he was very receptive to trying it with my second transfer.

IVF is very individualized so make sure to do your own research, advocate for yourself and ask questions. Also, make sure you discuss managing expectations. I expected to only do 1 retrieval but ended up needing 3. That's not specifically a reflection of Dr. Lee's effort but I think it's important to know what you're walking into since this is such an emotional and expensive process.

Throughout my fertility journey, Dr. Lee wanted me on a slow carb diet which I did the entire time I was TTC. I did Clomid for two months while my husband and I decided whether to proceed with IVF. I had very adverse side effects (anxiety, mood swings, depression) so I stopped after the second month and would never do it again. I took prenatal & CoQ10 supplements throughout all retrieval cycles. My 1st round of IVF medications included 11 days of 250 Follistim, 75 Menopur, Provera, & Dexamethasone prior to retrieval. 36 hours prior to retrieval I administered 10,000 hCG & 450 Follistim to trigger. I also took Doxycycline starting the day prior to retrieval and ending the day after retrieval. I went to about 4 monitoring appointments for this cycle. Since my 1st round only yielded 1 normal embryo, Dr. Lee suggested trying a different longer protocol which tends to yield fewer eggs but higher quality. My 2nd round of IVF medications included 24 days of birth control, Lupron, & Dexamethasone; 13 days of 200 Follistim & 75 Menopur. 36 hours prior to retrieval I administered 10,000 hCG & 450 Follistim to trigger. I also took Doxycycline starting the day prior to retrieval and ending the day after retrieval. I went to about 6 monitoring appointments for this cycle. Since round 2 yielded, 0 normal embryos we went back to the same exact protocol as my 1st round for round 3. The only difference was that we included Zymot. This cycle yielded 7 normal embryos. Both of my transfer protocols included Dexamethasone for 18 days up until transfer; hCG 5 days & 2 days prior to transfer and 1 day & 4 days after transfer; Progesterone in Oil 2x a day & estradiol valerate every 3 days until 10 weeks; Doxycycline & Medrol for 4 days surrounding the transfer date.

1st round of IVF was $24,500, 2nd round of IVF was $19,350, & 3rd round of IVF was $18,860

Dr. Lee suggested only transferring one embryo due to the higher risks associated with multiples.

Dr. Lee has seen me every visit and has always been extremely knowledgeable. He uses comparisons to things we would understand. He is very patient and caring. Dr. Lee always has a positive attitude and thinks outside the box to give us more options to choose from. So happy I found him!

Do not be afraid to take the first step. That held me back for two years and I wish I had gone to see Dr. Lee sooner. We have a plan of action and will turn course as needed. Yes, it will cost you money depending on your insurance. I have Kaiser and I am definitely paying out of pocket, but every penny is totally worth it once I will be holding my precious baby.

After my first consultation with Dr. Lee, it was decided that the first step was for me to get an HSG Test to see if my tubes were open or not. My husband had already taken a sperm test and his results were above average. The HSG test provided results that my left tube was closed, but my right tube was wide open. Now I am currently taking clomid to see if that could possibly help us to get pregnant and from here we will take the next steps as needed.

The initial consultation with Dr. Lee was around $300 and the HSG test administered at another location (hospital) was $450. The Clomid medication was through my insurance and was $10.

Incredible bedside manor and a fun/easy way of explaining things which I really needed during such a stressful time in my life. Always left his office with hope. Will be back to try to grow our family in the future. I saw him every single visit and he would even fit me in if I called and was concerned about something. Never felt rushed.

I did my research for months and chose him over many others because I had heard/read his bedside manor was the best around. I even drove over 50 miles for every appt to go to him and I’m so incredibly happy I did!

I don’t remember the nitty grittys but I do remember him regularly checking to see how my body was reacting to my meds and made adjustments when necessary. He was very good at having his patients produce a lot of eggs for retrieval’s and he personally does all of his procedures.

I was monitored at every single appt. He is able to monitor at all hours of operation.

He always left it up to us but he gave his advice. First 4 transfers were PGT with 2 miscarriages, one chemical and one negative. I have unexplained infertility and my husband also had extremly low sperm count. For our last transfer he advised to do 2 embryos for the first time and he wanted to do both untested. Ended up with my miracle baby boy. He always had his next move planned out. I know I was an extremely hard case.

Strong communicator and willing to be flexible with your plan based on what works for you. He explained every step as he went so you truly get an idea of what is going on and what is to come. He listened to all concerns, answered all questions, and told us to call any time we had additional questions.

Be aware that infertility treatments are high cost going on. Be open and honest about all concerns.

Did a consultation with ultrasound, medical history, and lifestyle review first. Recommended three months of fertility drugs first and a semen analysis. If everything looked good, explained we would then proceed to IUI for 3 cycles before considering IVF. We’re currently getting ready to start our first IUI.

Our insurance has covered the diagnostic procedures, so we’ve only been subject to the copay. Without insurance, the initial consultation is $290.

A very nice doctor. My husband really liked him. He did all the ultrasounds and iui. He seems busy. But that's a good thing. I loved how he throughly looked over my paper work on my initial visit. We tried and an iui and it was unsuccessful. I appreciate him not throwing a ton of unnecessary tests at me. Like a doctor before him had. I especially love how small and uncommercial his office is. Not a stuffy place that treats you like big Business

Bring all of your paperwork from previous diagnosis so he can look over. Trust him he is good at his job

I did a stimulated iui cycle using clomid and Gonal-F. I produced 8 eggs. Four on each side. I have a blocked tube on one side so we were hoping the other side would catch something. Unfortunately it was unsuccessful. Dr. Lee has recommended us to go the I ivf rought. Starting soon. Once financial arrangements are figured out.

I would say that he is about the same as most clinics around my area. Maybe slightly more. First initial visit was 350$ iui was 1450$ and medication was $1000 plus additional 75$ to talk to the doctor about moving to ivf

Dr. Lee was very to the point, honest and eased my anxiety at every appointment. When I was unsure of my IVF protocol due to a low amount of follicles he reassured me that things were fine. I'm glad I listened to him and didn't cancel my cycle.

He does some out of the box protocols and trust him with his knowledge. Also know that he works with the number one lab and embryologists in the area. He is also up to date with the most recent research and due to this only performs frozen embryo transfers since there is a higher success rate.

I did the "normal" antagonist protocol with lupron, bravelle and an HCG trigger. Dr. Lee also recommends ICSI for all his patients as well as assisted hatching. He also had me use an HCG trigger throughout my frozen embryo cycle to mimic ovulation. He also highly recommended PGS testing, which we had done on our 5 embryos. We are so happy we did because one of our 5AA graded embryos was nonviable, therefore he prevented me from having a miscarriage, had that embryo been transferred.

$5,800.00 for PGS testing, $14,000 for the IVF/Frozen Transfer/Ultrasounds and bloodwork, $6,000 for IVF medication, $2,500.00 for FET medication.

He gave us an over 80% chance of implantation with a PGS tested embryo, therefore we went along with an eSET.

Not only is Dr. Lee a knowledgeable professional, he was personally going through treatment with a surrogate to conceive his own child with a donor egg. He could personally and professionally relate. He was transparent and vulnerable. He remembered small details about us and references them in future appointments. He truly cared for us and our treatment/future success.

There are no dumb questions and he’s heard it all/seen it all!

It’s been seven years... I just don’t recall.

We paid approximately $25,000 out of pocket for multiple IUIs; egg retrieval and fresh embryo transfer; frozen embryo transfer after two years of storage.

He presented our options and made a recommendation that we ultimately went with (two embryos transferred each time).

My experience was that he was extremely thorough and during his assessment, he got to know us as a couple before anything else. I almost felt like it was a couples marital session. He is very gentle in his approach.

To not be afraid and he will be able to let you know the best course of treatment.

We have not done actual treatment yet as our only option is IVF and we’re saving money for it. He has been trying to see if I potentially have cysts so he prescribed birth control due to my irregular cycle in order to assess. He also made me feel that my own diagnosis of endometriosis is probably likely which explains so much that I was not aware of in the past 15 years.

The initial consultation includes an ultrasound and was almost half less than two other clinics I had contacted.

Dr. Lee explains everything very well. When I had unexpected set backs he was very understanding of our feelings. He spoke with other doctors to get their opinions when my situation became unexpectedly unusual. He explained risks and possibilities and answers all questions.

Ask questions, be strong and be patient.

I started with clomid, then IUIs, then IVF.

Costs are outlined before treatments begin. You are never pushed into anything.

Dr. Lee strongly recommended single embryo transfer because of the high rate of twins if two embryos were transferred. I didn’t push for a multiple transfer so we transferred one at a time.

Dr Lee spent over an hour with us during our consult. He explained what our options were and wanted us to make diet and lifestyle changes prior to monitored cycles. He is always kind, available and speaks to us in a way that we understand .

His office location lacks parking so get there a little early. His office is busy so take a list of questions you have and never feel bad to email them any questions you have.

We are currently on Clomid and there is a staff member assigned to us that is available for any questions. We would have gone directly to IUI but with Covid we are trying Clomid for the time being.

Out of pocket consultation was around $300 that included a transvaginal ultrasound and an hour long sit down consult.

I initially came to this doctor as reviews were outstanding results for him. My first impression was he seemed rushed although he explained the process. I assume due to his success rate, his plate is full. I can't tell if he was really genuine or if I was just a number. With faith, I am still visiting him hoping for a baby or more.

Have faith and don't take his swift personality personally. He is very knowledgeable, just a very busy popular doctor.

I was diagnosed with PCOS. He put me on a very strict diet. The process has been successful in maintaining a healthy lifestyle and improving issues with my egg quality.

My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Lee and his staff for a couple months. We did our first IUI cycle, which wasn't a success, but the experience so far has been great. Appointments are ran efficiently and the staff have been great in responding to my emails and answering my questions. We're about to do our 2nd IUI cycle and we're hoping it works!

This process has a lot of ups and downs. Trust your doctor, ask a lot of questions, and keep going. You got this and Dr. Lee is there to help.

3 IUI, 1 IVF. We opted for an ERA cycle prior to embryo transfer, which I believe upped our chances for a positive pregnancy result. The ERA was the suggestion of Dr. Lee. He wants this to work as much as you do!

Dr Lee gets an honest history from you, and if you’re open with him, he respectfully offers his recommendations, the process of going through the procedure, what happens after and what would need to occur once time comes to use the eggs.

Dr. Lee is friendly but also blunt. I liked this very much about him because fertility treatment is already something that is unpredictable. Any amount of sugar coating would not be helpful with gaining insight on the fertility journey. He corrected any misconceptions I had about my fertility and what I expected out of my journey immediately. He was always honest and direct about the expectations I should have for each cycle. He always knew how to keep me calm and address my concerns right away. He was compassionate with every failed attempt/cycle and found ways to keep me encouraged and motivated by facts he would discover about me from each attempt. Appointments with him could seem brief or hurried if there were no questions. So, I learned that I must be as invested in my fertility health as he was in helping me get pregnant by asking questions.

Do not walk in expecting to only take Dr. Lee’s orders and that everything will be taken care of. It is your body and you have as much responsibility for it as the he does to try to treat it. Be proactive about your health. Dr. Lee should be a partner in your fertility journey. And like with any partnership, your effort and contribution is needed as well.

During my first attempt, Clomid was used to stimulate my ovaries. The dosage was started low to see how my ovaries would react and how many follicles would grow. My dosage needed to be increased during this attempt as the leading follicle was not growing as quickly. Only one follicle was ready and IUI was attempted for the first time. No pregnancy from this cycle. During my second attempt, he started Clomid immediately had the same higher dosage from the first cycle, hoping that more than one follicle would develop. Still only one follicle was ready and IUI was attempted a second time. No pregnancy from this cycle. Dr. Lee wanted to make sure that there was nothing else hindering the process of me getting pregnant. Since my fallopian tubes had never been checked before, I was sent to see if there were any blockages. My tubes were clear, which gave Dr. Lee the indication that I should start the next attempt with something stronger than Clomid. During my third attempt, he started me on injectables, Gonal F Rff, at a lower dose (100IU) so that my ovaries wouldn’t produce too many follicles. The dosage was increased to 150IU as the multiple follicles developing were not growing fast enough. Around 3-4 follicles were ready and IUI was attempted for the third time. I was also instructed to take Endometrin (vaginal progesterone inserts) to aid in getting pregnant. I did get a positive pregnancy test and my HCG did come back indicating I was pregnant. However, within a couple weeks my HCG levels were not multiplying properly. The third attempt was a biochemical pregnancy. During my fourth attempt, I was on Gonal again, but started at 200IU. I had more follicles (5-6) ready during this cycle and IUI was attempted for the fourth time. I was also on Endometrin again. I got a positive pregnancy test and my HCG came back indicating the same. My HCG levels continued to multiply at the proper rate and I returned to Dr. Lee’s office at 6 weeks pregnant for my first ultrasound to confirm heartbeat. I am now 22 weeks pregnant and carrying twins!

I am fortunate enough to have insurance that covered the cost of my IUI treatments and exams. I only had to pay for the medication which was between $1500-$2000 per cycle depending on the dosage. This was the cost for my third and fourth attempt when injectables were introduced. During my first and second attempt, medication was around $200-$300.

The doctors experience and knowledge make him an expert in my opinion. Every visit seemed like when it came to treatment he knew what he was doing without hesitation at all. He was certain that IVF would be successful for me and it was. That really kept me positive because I knew I was in good hands.

I would tell them to make their first appointment right away. When I made my first appointment I wasn't able to start treatment right away because I had large cysts. You never know if there will be a setback in the type of treatment you are looking for so it is best to find out sooner than later in my opinion.

I remember having to go on burth control pills for a month to see if my ovarian cysts would grow and react to hormones before even thinking of starting IVF. The doctor told me that if the cysts would react and grow I would have to have surgery to remove them before we could start IVF hormones.

I had to pay for the IVF treatment as well as the medications.

Yes my doctor believes the safest route for me was a single embryo transfer although I wanted a double embryo transfer. I have had a prior open myomectomy and he said it was too risoy for me to consider doing multiples and he explained everything thouroughly and I steongly believe he was right. I would rather have a safe delivery with a baby thay can go to full term.

Dr. Lee is experienced and was realistic in terms of what we could expect from each procedure. I always felt taken care of and I could tell that he started our treatment with the least invasive procedure (IUI). When that did not work, he was candid in explaining that the only way toward a positive pregnancy test would be IVF. We appreciated his honesty and his effort to try to save us money as best as he could. He is a compassionate individual.

Listen to Dr. Lee's recommendations and have realistic expectations.

Dr. Lee was knowledgeable and clearly had a lot of experience. He was very familiar with cases like ours and immediately had a plan. He always presented different routes and options and gave us a lot of autonomy to chose what would be best for us. At times, Dr. Lee sometimes lacked some sympathy and was very matter of fact about different test results and outcomes. Ultimately we were successful with him and are very grateful for all he's done but we did often wish he was a little warmer and more personable with us.

Come prepared with questions to ask!

We went three unsuccessful medicated IUI cycles using Gonal. I was able to produce several healthy eggs in each round but they did not result in any pregnancies. We then went through one embryo transfer using Follistim and Menopur. I produced over 12 eggs but only five fertilized and three became viable day 5 embryos. After PGTA testing we found we had two healthy embryos and one mosaic. We transferred our first embryo medicated with progesterone and estrogen injections and we finally were successful in getting a positive pregnancy test.

Each IUI cycle cost around $4000 and our IVF cycle and transfer cost us around $30,000. This did not include the medication.

A lot of doctors it feels like their job is just routine and they want to get in and they want to get out. Doctor Lee is clearly happy to be there, happy to help, there for you good or bad. He just cares And it is so obvious. He is very informative, supportive, and respectful. He always sits down And asked you if you have any other questions and shows you that he is present and nothing else in that moment is more important to him. I like that he sits like he is not in a rush, it shows you how present he is.

They are in the right place, just trust him and have faith in the outcome.

We did two cycles of clomed And it looked like I had ovulated but the blood tests showed that I hadn't. We went to injectables and I didn't respond in a typical way and over time we increased from one to three vials. I basically got pregnant every time we did a cycle after that change. But I had 2 miscarriages and 2 pregnancies. I also had to use endometrium and ovulation shots and IUIs.

It varied depending on what insurance company I had.

Dr. Lee treated us very well, and we trusted him. Our fertility journey has been a hard one, but he has communicated well with us the whole time. He was very kind to us when we experienced two miscarriages in the course of treatment.

I would give this advice to anyone seeking fertility treatment (and my good friend told it to me): being realistic doesn't only mean seeing the negative outcomes... good things can happen, too.

We did timed intercourse with clomid first with no pregnancies. Then, we tried IUI with one pregnancy and one miscarriage. Last, we tried IVF, and we've had two pregnancies and one miscarriage. I am currently still pregnant as a result of IVF and hoping for a baby due in December.

I would recommend that a prospective patient follow his advice.

Dr. Lee suggested a Keto Diet plan and regular exercise. He suggested that Zymot, which is a innovation and better way to process sperm. He also suggested an ERA (mock cycle), which was also a great procedure.
