Attention to Detail

Attention to detail is on a 1 - 10 scale, and is scored based on the rate, and severity, of errors committed by the clinic according to the patients.

For example, a severe error might be failing to inform a patient of critical information, while a small error might be failing to call a patient with results.

CDC Success Rates

This is the most recent data from the CDC. The CDC cautions that it should not be used to compare doctors and clinics. This data represents the outcomes of IVF cycles when using a person's own eggs.

For more information please see our FAQs.

Where you see a “?” on the chart, a clinic has done fewer than 20 cycles in this category and age range, so the CDC says showing percentages from this small data set would be misleading and unreliable.

[Dr. Schoyer] was very open and honest about all of the steps that we had to take and the reasoning for each test...She definitely made me feel like a human she talked in a gentle non intimidating manner. She also gave me options throughout the whole way and did not force a decision on me...She did not agree with multiple embryo transfer but after listening to my needs she looked over my health history and decided to let me go ahead with it and giving me the risks of a twin birth or possibly triplets etc. She told me her concerns in a kind way .
The [Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin nurses] taught me the injections privately and made conversation during blood draws...I think the their strengths is them.showing kindness to patients that are in such a vulnerable state...I also think they would benefit from setting up payment plans with established patients..
How was your experience with Kate Schoyer at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin?
She was very open and honest about all of the steps that we had to take and the reasoning for each test. At one point I had something pop up and a hystrosonogram so I had to come back for a more extensive one that was much more expensive I was crushed...but when I got there the machine was down so they repeated the hystrosonogram at no cost and it was a huge blessing. When I had 2 miscarriages she listened to my concerns that I wanted a natural transfer cycle so I did not have to be medicated and just took ovulation tests at home and they transfered a few days after a positive. She also listened for our reasoning of transferring our last two embryos because we had completely run out of money and it was our last chance. She is a wonderful doctor.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Kate Schoyer at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin?
To be honest with her as well and open to any of her medical information to help you bring your baby to fruition. She is very capable and open to hearing your needs as well.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Kate Schoyer at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin?
She definitely made me feel like a human she talked in a gentle non intimidating manner. She also gave me options throughout the whole way and did not force a decision on me. She personally called me once she heard I had a second miscarriage and was a great comfort and encouragement and even though she did not fully agree with transferring two embryos she listened to my reasoning and was able to let me go ahead with a two embryo transfer which was successful and we have two beautiful girls from that ivf cycle.
Describe the protocols Kate Schoyer used in your cycles at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin and their degree of success.
We used the agonist protocol . I was on ganirelix, gonal f , menopur and preg/Lupron. I took 75 units of both gonal f and Menopur until trigger which was 1500 preg and 40 Lupron . I had 10 eggs 7 embryos and 4 survived the 5 days. We had one transfer a few days after retrieval and then I was on progesterone injections. I became pregnant but miscarried shortly after. Waited a month had a period then had a natural transfer and that one did not stick. Went right into another natural cycle had the transfer and then used progesterone suppositories and it resulted in my two girls.
Describe your experience with the nursing staff at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin.
By the end of our ivf they felt like friends they were also kind and had smiling faces and answered all my questions and never judgemental or rude. The taught me the injections privately and made conversation during blood draws .
Describe your experience with Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin.
I think the their strengths is them.showing kindness to patients that are in such a vulnerable state. Their biggest weakness which I am sure is for most places is that they make you get "retested" which cost thousands if you haven't seen them in a year as someone who has been seeking fertility treatment for 9 years I have had to get retested many times even though we have male factor infertility because we didn't have the means to finish out a cycle at that time or other things going on with life. I also think they would benefit from setting up payment plans with established patients
Describe the costs associated with your care under Kate Schoyer at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin.
I do not recall exact but consult was around 400 . Hystersonogram was 1500 ivf with icsi was 12000 medications were 3000 additional transfers were 3000 and ultrasounds were 200
Describe Kate Schoyer's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin.
She did not agree with multiple embryo transfer but after listening to my needs she looked over my health history and decided to let me go ahead with it and giving me the risks of a twin birth or possibly triplets etc. She told me her concerns in a kind way .

Dr. Bosler has an amazing bedside manner and despite I am sure being very busy she is able to explain procedures and protocols thoroughly. She listens, answers questions and makes you feel less alone in this journey...has continuously made us feel taken care of and understand. There is really no other doctor that I have trusted more to take care of me. She is easy to talk to and we immediately feel at ease and confident in this process when we have appointments with her
The [Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin] nursing staff has been great during our years working with this clinic. They are very responsive and respectful. I didn’t expect the laugh so much at our injection training. The nurses are amazing...The clinic is easy to get to and always kept up nicely. The only weakness was having to travel to the downtown campus for a surgery. however, I think they have switched to a closer hospital for certain surgeries.

Describe the protocols Jayme Bosler used in your cycles at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin and their degree of success.
I do not recall my embryo retrieval medication or protocol. I do remember that I was going to do a fresh transfer but due to fluid in my uterus we switched to a frozen transfer. Our frozen transfer was successful and we completed another FET a little over a year later with success. We are now attempting to have our 3rd and medicated FET are not working as my body is not responding to the medication. We are now in the middle or attempting a natural (unmedicated) FET

Monitoring is done by appointment and is a very quick and fluid process
Describe the costs associated with your care under Jayme Bosler at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin.
Currently we are paying out of pocket for our ET cycle. It is $3,308 per cycle and if a cycle gets cancelled you get refunded $2,150
Describe Jayme Bosler's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin.
We were told that it is situation specific. Ideally they would only transfer 1 embryo but I am sure that depends on embryo quality and previous response

After my partner was dx with a tubal blockage after several failed IUI cycles, we are in the process of beginning a reciprocal IVF cycle with Dr. Rydze. He has been thoughtful and caring for our experience, demonstrated and shared information about how he is tailoring the cycle to our specific bodies and needs, and the rationale behind his guidance. We do not yet have the results of this process but Dr Rydze is clearly competent and are hopeful for the results.

Describe your experience with Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin.
While there are always some limitations in a setting like this around LGBT and trans competence, we have been pleasantly surprised with how welcoming everyone is and the effort that everyone at the clinic is clearly putting in, from reception staff to doctors. At times the communication amongst the team can be a little disjointed due to coordinating different tests and information between offices, etc., but they are very responsive when we have advocated for ourselves and followed up.
Describe the costs associated with your care under Robert Rydze at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin.

I think she [Dr. Stephanie Gunderson] excels at showing compassion and taking your viewpoint and your wishes into account. She approaches things delicately which I think is needed when going through an incredibly emotional time...I appreciated that the first thing she asked me was what I wanted. She didn't push me into anything and took the time to listen to me and understand.
[Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin is] Great at communicating and keeping you informed. They also offer financial counseling and lay things out clearly as to what to expect financially which is appreciated during an already stressful time...They respond to phone calls and online messages in a prompt manner and are very kind, caring and compassionate.
How was your experience with Stephanie Gunderson at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin?
I think she excels at showing compassion and taking your viewpoint and your wishes into account. She approaches things delicately which I think is needed when going through an incredibly emotional time. As someone who has been diagnosed with unexplained infertility I can become easily frustrated with not having answers and told there is nothing wrong with me yet I have a limited chance of conceiving naturally. I understand that treatment is the next best recommendation but I am still left a bit discouraged that I couldn't find a doctor to help me put all the puzzle pieces together and help us find out why it isn't happening and help us figure out how to get pregnant naturally as that has been the goal.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Stephanie Gunderson at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin?
Don't be afraid to ask any and all questions, she will answer in a kind, informative manner.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Stephanie Gunderson at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin?
During the initial consult I appreciated that the first thing she asked me was what I wanted. She didn't push me into anything and took the time to listen to me and understand.
Describe the protocols Stephanie Gunderson used in your cycles at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin and their degree of success.
My husband and I have been diagnosed with unexplained infertility. All of the diagnostic tests have come back as "normal." This cycle we are pursuing for the first time Letrozole with timed insemination monitored with ultrasound as our treatment method.

Consultations and follow up visits were about $350-$700. Other diagnostic fertility testing I think was standard for the national average.

Dr. Bosler was a very good listener. I wanted to do a more "natural" cycle without taking birth control pills and she allowed that. Dr. Bosler was very open to any concerns that I had regarding medications and was able to answer any questions I had regarding the process of the egg retrieval and freezing my embryos...I though Dr. Bosler was really receptive to wanting to try things that maybe weren't part of their "normal" protocol.
I felt like the staff [at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin] was compassionate and friendly. Almost all of the doctors were on time to their appointments and if they were a bit late they apologized profusely. I felt really welcome at the clinic...As an LGBTQ person I am not always sure how people are going to treat me or react. I felt that the staff was very welcoming and kind to my wife and I and it may seem like a small action, but there were rainbow flags on some of the desks and rainbow pins on some of the nurses/doctors lanyards.

What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Jayme Bosler at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin?
One piece of advice would be to be upfront, honest, and transparent with your hopes/dreams from the start. I though Dr. Bosler was really receptive to wanting to try things that maybe weren't part of their "normal" protocol.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Jayme Bosler at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin?
Dr. Bosler was amazing. Although I worked with all 4 doctors at Froedtert, I would highly recommend any of them. Dr. Bosler was very personable. She was kind, caring, and a great listener.
Describe the protocols Jayme Bosler used in your cycles at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin and their degree of success.
Call when your next period starts An ultrasound will be scheduled for day two or three of your cycle. Have ultrasound performed Begin stimulation medication/injections: Lupron prevents ovulation: taken on day 2-11 (.2 mL) Gonal F- stimulates ovaries: taken day 5-11 (150 units days 5-7 and 125 units days 8-11) Menopur - stimulates ovaries: taken day 5-11 (150 units) HCG shot- 10,000 units specific time before retrieval
Describe your experience with the nursing staff at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin.
Overall our experience with the nurses was great. I think that the nursing staff could have done a better job at preparing patients about what they are going to experience throughout the entire journey. I started this process during Covid so a lot was done virtually or over mychart/phone and not in person so that could have played a large role in it.
Describe your experience with Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin.
I felt like the staff was compassionate and friendly. Almost all of the doctors were on time to their appointments and if they were a bit late they apologized profusely. I felt really welcome at the clinic. Infertility is a really scary thing so to have doctors and nurses who I felt like they cared a lot, it made the process easier that it could have been. I think that the nursing staff could do a better job sometimes at communicating regarding "future steps" but again, so much was done not in person that I understand things can get lost in translation.
Describe the costs associated with your care under Jayme Bosler at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin.
Consultations: $286, $266 Bloodwork/ultrasound: $1,486.55 Medication cost: $456, $250, $1,434 Egg Retrieval: $11,520 Sperm from California Cryobank: $1275 Estimated Total cost: $15,965.55
Describe Jayme Bosler's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin.
I did not do my transfer yet. I believe the Froedtert policy is transferring one embryo at a time until you are 37. After age 37 they evaluate if they should transfer 1 or 2 embryos at a time.
How competent was Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin at LGBTQ+ care?
As an LGBTQ person I am not always sure how people are going to treat me or react. I felt that the staff was very welcoming and kind to my wife and I and it may seem like a small action, but there were rainbow flags on some of the desks and rainbow pins on some of the nurses/doctors lanyards.
Describe your experience using 3rd party reproduction (donor eggs, donor sperm, or gestational carrier) at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin.
My wife and I chose donor sperm from California Cryobank. We had the sperm shipped to the Menomonee Falls Clinic and everything was very effortless. The nurse helped get the sheet filled out and signed by the doctor and everything went according to plan with shipping and arrival dates.

When Dr. Schoyer walks into the room, I instantly felt belittled. The concerns I had about my body were not taken seriously and I felt as though I was the next one up on the assembly line and if I didn't do what she said she would cut me as a patient...I asked doctor Schoyer to help me get to the root cause of my hormonal imbalances. Instead I got prescriptions for medication I never asked for. After asking for help with the root causes she said "she's not sure"...Doctor Schoyer ordered 20 tests at least and never went over a single one...
The clinic [Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin] is not afraid to tell you how busy they always are and it makes individual care next to impossible to get...Some nurses were tolerable. Others were the least compassionate people...You’ll feel like a number the second you walk in. Wait times for an appointment are excessively long. There is no wiggle room for anything with “treatment”plans they customize nothing...
How was your experience with Kate Schoyer at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin?
She was just alright. After an emotional journey of infertility I was looking for an exceptional doctor that left me feeling good about treatment options and hope for the future. After all of the testing I’ve undergone I can honestly say I’m leaving the clinic feeling less hopeful than ever.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Kate Schoyer at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin?
No treatment plans will be catered to you. You will be simply a number when you step foot in an appointment. If you’re willing to be treated like a number and just want to get pregnant, then she’d be a good fit.

Describe your experience with the nursing staff at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin.
Some nurses were tolerable. Others were the least compassionate people. I think it's particularly rude when you had a child die in pregnancy and instead of reading your file they ask, "have you ever been pregnant?". A simple scan of a file could have avoided an extremely uncomfortable and emotional question.
Describe your experience with Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin.

$2,500, for the initial workup. Doctor Schoyer ordered 20 tests at least and never went over a single one.
What specific things went wrong at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin?
  • Failed to inform you of changes in protocol
  • Provided conflicting information
Describe the specific things that went wrong at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin.
I underwent multiple rounds of testing and finally finished them. At the time of the testing I lived 4 hours away from the clinic. When I called to schedule my cycle, they said I had to undergo additional covid testing after they already told me my testing was finished.

I felt like I never knew what the next steps were...when I asked her if I should do fresh or frozen IVF, her response was “what do you want to do?” I was disappointed with that response….I’m paying tens of thousands of dollars for these doctors’ clinical expertise, yet I have to do my own homework to determine whether I should do fresh or frozen?… I had to micromanage everything during my seven months under her care...
They [Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin] don’t have an IVF/nurse coordinator, which is odd. You as the patient are responsible for essentially being your own coordinator. Making phone calls to determine insurance coverage, figuring out the financial packages, researching was a “stimulation” means, researching what “egg retrieval” means…the fact that I had to do my own research on what egg retrieval is because no one explained it to me, is really concerning.
How was your experience with Stephanie Gunderson at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin?
Although Dr. Gunderson has a very nice demeanor, she is not a very strong clinician. She misses details (forgot to order my genetic screening); when her patients are seen by the other doctors in clinic, she does not follow their treatment course. She is not a good communicator. I felt like I never knew what the next steps were. When I tried my 2nd cycle of IUI and it was unsuccessful, she said “ok so looks like we can’t do it this time. Have a nice weekend”. I had to reel her back into the consult room to ask about what next steps for IVF are. She said “oh you just call with the first day of your period”. Her response was very….”duh, why don’t you know this?” Additionally, when I asked her if I should do fresh or frozen IVF, her response was “what do you want to do?” I was disappointed with that response….I’m paying tens of thousands of dollars for these doctors’ clinical expertise, yet I have to do my own homework to determine whether I should do fresh or frozen?… I had to micromanage everything during my seven months under her care. I eventually transferred clinics.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Stephanie Gunderson at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin?
Change doctors sooner rather than later. You want a doctor who is a strong clinician and can get you pregnant…not a doctor that asks what your plans are this weekend. Don’t waste months and months with her clinic like I did.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Stephanie Gunderson at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin?
At the Froedtert fertility clinic, you will not only see your primary doctor. You will see one of four doctors. They rotate clinic days, ultrasound days, surgery days, etc. In doing so, they really don’t know the details of their patients well at all. For example, prior to my first IUI cycle, I had a doctor (who was not my primary doctor) doing my ultrasound. I have a problem with my left tube. He said “so the right tube is the one that’s giving us problems”. And my husband and I said ummm no. Additionally, my primary doctor forgot to order a genetic screening test on me. It wasn’t until I was getting a second opinion at a different clinic that was informing me about genetic screening that I realized that my Froedtert doctor never ordered a genetic test. I messaged her to make her aware and she said “yes you should get one”. I was incredibly frustrated that this was missed. They are very sloppy.
Describe the protocols Stephanie Gunderson used in your cycles at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin and their degree of success.
I had an HSN, then a hysteroscopy with removal of polyps. Followed by two cycles of IUI. Both IUI cycles had a 5 day stim with Letrozole from Day 3-7. Then ultrasound monitoring from day 11-16.
Describe your experience with the nursing staff at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin.
The nursing staff are one of the reasons why I transferred fertility clinics. Whenever I would send a message to my doctor, the nurses would answer without checking their response with the doctor first. (I work in healthcare, and this is actually illegal. Nurses don’t have a license to make treatment decisions). After two incorrect answers from the nursing staff, I informed Dr. Gunderson. She did apologize and say that she would speak to her nursing staff, but I’m not entirely sure that that happened. Had I not double checked a nursing recommendation, I would have been an entire treatment cycle behind. A nurse told me that I had to wait at least one cycle after a procedure that I had. I double checked with the doctor on the day that I had the procedure and he confirmed that that was untrue.
Describe your experience with Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin.
Overall, this was an extremely disappointing experience. The doctors are unorganized, the wait times are VERY long (it takes over 2 months to get an initial consult and then approximately 6 months before you can start IVF because they “don’t have room in the lab”). They don’t have an IVF/nurse coordinator, which is odd. The one strength is that the parking at the clinic was convenient. And the building was clean.
Describe the costs associated with your care under Stephanie Gunderson at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin.
My initial visit was approximately $800 for a one hour virtual consultation. My IUI was about $1300 per cycle.
Describe Stephanie Gunderson's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin.
I transferred to a different fertility clinic before I underwent embryo transfer. However, I was told that the stance of Froedtert fertility clinic is that they absolutely will NOT do multiple embryo transfer because it is more high risk for complications (at least, this is what they told me)
What specific things went wrong at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin?
  • Failed to call in prescriptions to pharmacy
  • Failed to order appropriate test
  • Failed to send your chart to another clinic
  • Failed to inform you of changes in protocol
  • Provided conflicting information
  • Failed to convey critical information
Describe the specific things that went wrong at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin.
I had to micromanage everything at this clinic. By the end, I had no trust in the doctors and nurses because I was identifying and correcting all of their mistakes. I understand that everyone makes mistakes but the mistakes kept happening and happening. Even after I spoke with their clinic manager.

At the initial visit Dr Bosler looked over my previous testing and cycles, talked to us about our specific family goals, and then laid out several treatment options...She tailored the testing and medical interventions around what we had already completed and the testing which most closely aligned with our personal goals...We plan to try up to four medicated IUI sessions
Everyone who works [at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin] from the front desk on is supportive and 100% invested in growing our family. We appreciated that we could meet with the financial advisor during the consultation...We were not notified of delaying cycles until I called to tell them I was at CD1 and ready for them to call in meds...I feel they should have reached out in the weeks prior with that update
How was your experience with Jayme Bosler at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin?
We were referred to Dr Bosler by my general ob/gyn (who is also RE board certified), after 1 miscarriage, 1 chemical, and subsequently 8 months of anovulatory cycles. Dr Bosler also came highly recommended by two close friends who have been blessed with babies as a result of Dr Bosler's care. Anyway, back to our experience. At the initial visit Dr Bosler looked over my previous testing and cycles, talked to us about our specific family goals, and then laid out several treatment options. In the end decisions were all left to us, but she was there to thoroughly explain the options and help us understand what each would entail. We did not need to redo the majority of our testing- Dr Bosler just added on a couple extra tests to be performed before our first treatment. We were set to start IUI two months ago, however now we are waiting until the COVID situation has resolved. We plan to try up to four medicated IUI sessions once it is safe to do so.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Jayme Bosler at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin?
Get your testing done early so when you go to the initial visit you have those results and can talk through them with Dr Bosler.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Jayme Bosler at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin?
Dr. Bosler was very personable in our first meeting. She asked tons of questions related to fertility obviously, but also seemed interested in our pets, hobbies, and jobs. It was like talking to a friend. She tailored the testing and medical interventions around what we had already completed and the testing which most closely aligned with our personal goals.
Describe the protocols Jayme Bosler used in your cycles at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin and their degree of success.
At this point we are only doing letrozole 7.5mg with timed intercourse. Once the clinic is reopened we will continue with the letrozole and do a monitored cycle with trigger and IUI.
Describe your experience with the nursing staff at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin.
Most of the contact we have had with the nurses has been via phone or mychart. They have been efficiant and thorough in those communications.
Describe your experience with Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin.
Everyone who works in this clinic from the front desk on is supportive and 100% invested in growing our family. We appreciated that we could meet with the financial advisor during the consultation as that was a big unknown.
Describe the costs associated with your care under Jayme Bosler at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin.
We do not have any infertility coverage in our insurance. Our diagnostic testing was all covered. The inital consult appointment was around $300. IUI is able to be done with or without US monitoring, and with or without medications so there is a large variance in cost.
Describe Jayme Bosler's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin.
At this point we are not persuing IVF.

Describe the specific things that went wrong at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin.
The COVID crisis has changed the work flow for everyone. We were not notified of delaying cycles until I called to tell them I was at CD1 and ready for them to call in meds. A cancelled cycle would have been disappointing at any time, but I feel they should have reached out in the weeks prior with that update.

Dr Bosler was always kind and sincere during our appointments. Due to scheduling, the only con I have is that we did meet with the other 2 doctors for a couple visits but mostly saw Dr Bosler. I was always comfortable letting Dr Bosler know my concerns and questions and she never hesitated to take extra time to make me feel comfortable...This doctor is very knowledgeable and kind. Just be ready to be flexible in scheduling and potentially seeing other doctors at this location too.
All staff I encountered [at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin] were friendly and helpful. When I called with negative tests, they all shared their apology for the unsuccessful results. When I had my miscarriage I informed the nursing staff and they were very supportive and sympathetic to my needs. I also received a personal email from Dr Bosler to acknowledge the loss and sending her condolences.

she [Dr. Kate Schoyer] was absolutely fantastic! So easy to talk to and kind and knowledgeable in her field. She fully explained everything to us while we were going through the whole process and took my questions into consideration. She never made me feel like my PCOS and anovulation is a disease...I met with the doctor at every appointment, all ultrasounds were done with her, some had a student that was taught in the field. She treated me like a girlfriend and was so easy to talk to. She took my feelings into account but also didn't beat around the bush.
The whole team [at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin] was fantastic, I feel like they knew me as a person and not a number. They were always helpful and responsive. My husband and I were airways greeted at the door and always felt welcome, we were never rushed while there. If we had questions we never left without having answered all of them. Everyone always took the time to measure us feel comfortable.

She took my feelings into account but also didn't beat around the bush. My husband was with me for every appointment and was always cracking jokes and she always was so funny and joined in on making them fun. She knew that I work in the field as a nurse so I know the medical jargon and understood pretty much everything. She would make my husband feel good during appointments too.

I believe I was in the agonist protocol. I chose to be on follistim (due to cost, we were self pay for everything), menopur, ganirelix; I triggered with Lupton. I was on meds for 9 days, never had any dose changes, I went to clinic every other day for 3 appointments and then daily. Egg retrieval went as expected, we retrieved 29 eggs, 23 were mature and 22 fertilized. We had 18 frozen between day 5 and 6. Per embryology 14 were A quality and 4 were B. The only thing I was not expecting was to have a frozen cycle, due to my pcos i was at a very high risk of ohss and after discussing with my doctor we made the decision to do a freeze all cycle to allow my hormones to get back to someone normal. I waited 1 cycle and then did a frozen cycle with estradiol oral tabs and progesterone im injections. That cycle was not successful, wet proceeded immediately into another cycle with same provo and was successful. Our daughter was born at 36 weeks due to predisposition Pre-eclampsia. I spontaneously got pregnant naturally 4 months postpartum and our second daughter was born at 38 em weeks due to Pre-eclampsia 2 weeks after her sister turned 1 year old.

Fantastic, she checked me on for every skintight and called me by the end of every visit with an update and how the plan was going. If I evert carried in with a question I always got a response back she day.

Hsg $500 Ivf guarantee program $23,000 (this covered ask appointments, ultrasounds, blood work, everything related to retrieval like sedation and icsi this was standard for all patients, transfers, ultrasounds and bloodwork.) Ivf meds $4000
Describe Kate Schoyer's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin.
my doctor was not comfortable doing transfers with more than one embryo for my situation, my amh was very high and the quality of embryos that we got with being almost 35 at the time a twin pregnancy would have been a risk she was not willing to do and to be honest my husband and I never had the intention of trying to transfer more than 1. We were in a guarantee program that we paid a higher amount for and were given the opportunity to have up to 3 retrievals and unlimited transfers. I was not expecting the first cycle to be successful. I heard so many ditties and take to many people that it took more than one try. I completely understand her reasoning and knowing and going through 2 emergency deliveries i could not imagine that with a twin pregnancy. I do have a friend that went to my same doctor and based on her and her husband history she did have a transfer with 2 embryos and had a triplet pregnancy. So I know that she goes far by case and looks at the individual situating and has a recommendation.

Dr. Sandlow was thorough in his explanation of our situation. I liked that he was straight-forward and explained why he did or did not want to do additional testing. He explained our situation, his thoughts, and what our next steps would be. I felt like he was very knowledgeable and had our best interests in mind...he gave me the information I needed and referred me to the appropriate doctor
It's a very nice, clean and private clinic [at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin]. They responded to questions very quickly. We had some issues with them receiving imaging results, but that wasn't their fault. Overall we liked the clinic, however it felt a bit impersonal at times...I only had a couple visits with Dr. Sandlow, his resident was really good, and the nurses were friendly as well.

Dr. Sandlow referred me to an endocrinologist to start me on a medication to help with low-t. We haven't had luck yet but I think we investigated my issues enough.

They had issues receiving some imaging results, and we never did get a full follow-up on the results. But they were working to get the complete results sent to them. It was an issue because the imaging was coming from a different medical provider, so I don't think it was their fault.

Dr Bosler doesna fantastic job of showing empathy while also being realistic. She has never made me second guess anything she’s told me, because she takes the time to fully walk through it with me. ... Dr Bosler used my past IUI failures to prep for my IVF cycle. She was not my doctor for the IUI’s, but she took the time to understand what happened and set a new course.
The clinic [Froedtert & Medical College of WI] is great. Most, if not all, tests can be completed onsite (including male tests). It helps make everything easy and I don’t have to worry about much other than a successful IVF cycle. The team takes time to answer all questions, and you can access them at any time with their online messaging system.
How was your experience with Jayme Bosler at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin?
I have loved every interaction with Dr Bosler. The other doctors at the clinic are competent, but I get a completely different feeling after an appointment with them than what I get with Dr Bosler. She’s upbeat, supportive, and always makes me confident in her treatment recommendations.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Jayme Bosler at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin?
Take the time to prepare all of your questions beforehand. She will make sure everything is answered for you!

Dr Bosler used my past IUI failures to prep for my IVF cycle. She was not my doctor for the IUI’s, but she took the time to understand what happened and set a new course. I react strongly to Gonal F, so she cautiously started me at a lower dose since it was paired with Menopur. She monitored me every other day and made sure the dose was accurate. We had a great retrieval! I had to have another clinic doctor start the transfer process, and it has not gone as smoothly as I think it would have with Dr Bosler.

Dr Bosler told me that she would not be able to transfer more than one embryo for the first three transfers. My SIL has premature twins at 28weeks, so I understand the risks and I am not questioning it at this time.

Success w/ Doc Too early to know
From the moment I first had my consultation, I felt listened to. The consultation took place in an office room setting verse an examine room. After tests we didn’t discuss them on the phone. How was your experience with Jayme Bosler at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin?
From the moment I first had my consultation, I felt listened to. The consultation took place in an office room setting verse an examine room. After tests we didn’t discuss them on the phone. Instead again we met in the office setting. She went over everything in great detail. She is positive and has a calming demeanor.

The first visit was a consultation. I enjoyed the office setting verses a medical room setting.
Describe the protocols Jayme Bosler used in your cycles at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin and their degree of success.
I had previously tried IUI with my Gyno. We tried two cycles but my follicles never became eggs. His honesty was welcoming. He said he didn’t know enough about better drugs to get me to ovulate so he recommended I see a specialist. Dr. Bosler ordered some of the same tests I had done with my previous Gyno, but in addition she added two more. The two she added were my egg quality and amount and an in-depth hormone saliva test.
Describe your experience with your nurse at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin.
Strengths would be, timely. If I call and leave a message I will hear back from them that day. When going through treatment you visit the clinically frequently. A weakness would be they always introduce themselves as if we never met. They could improve on acting like they already know you because they do!

Unfortunately here in WI, infertility treatments are not covered by Insurance companies. I pay $1300 for a cycle of IUI. It includes, two mid cycle ultrasounds, trigger shot, and the actual insemination.

Dr. Schoyer was wonderful to work with. We felt that she was very respectful, while still delivering honest feedback. While we suffered negative results and setbacks, she constantly reassured us and adjusted our treatment plan to achieve better results. She was great with responding to our questions and concerns, even over the weekends through their online messaging. We felt like we were in great hands with Dr. Schoyer and would recommend her to anyone.
The great thing about the facility [Froedtert & Med College of WI] is that all procedures can be performed in the same office. So from ultrasound monitoring to egg retrieval, we were comfortable and familiar with the settings. ... Her [Dr. Schoyer] clinic is a strong proponent of single embryo transfer and has a lot of research and data that they presented to back this up.

What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Kate Schoyer at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin?
Even though she was in charge of our care plan, the way their clinic works you might not see her for every appointment. However, we had great experiences with all the other caregivers and were able to speak directly with Dr. Schoyer any time we needed.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Kate Schoyer at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin?
She really took the time to talk with us and get to know us as we went through treatment.
Describe the protocols Kate Schoyer used in your cycles at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin and their degree of success.
After a full workup, we decided to attempt IUI. The first was done in a natural cycle and was unsuccessful. The following three were completed in a medicated cycle with clomid and HCG trigger shots. All three were unsuccessful and we then made the decision to switch to IVF. Our first IVF cycle utilized the most basic protocol. We were disappointed in our outcome with only 2 viable day 5 embryos. We attempted one fresh and one frozen transfer, both unsuccessful. For our second round of IVF, we escalated to a Lupron protocol with hopes of getting more, high quality embryos. This protocol yielded more than double the amount of day 5 embryos. We transferred one fresh (negative outcome) and one frozen to achieve pregnancy.
Describe your experience with the nursing staff at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin.
The nurses we dealt with were all extremely knowledgable and empathetic. We felt they genuinely cared about us and were rooting for our success.

Describe Kate Schoyer's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin.
Her clinic is a strong proponent of single embryo transfer and has a lot of research and data that they presented to back this up. However, they do leave the final decision up to the patient and will respect your decisions on how many embryos to transfer.

She [Dr. Bosler] is very empathetic and kind. She makes you feel comfortable and explains everything well. She helps you set realistic expectations without seeming overwhelming. Describe the protocols Jayme Bosler used in your cycles at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin and their degree of success.
I had four cycles with IUI using Clomid. The first cycle and fourth cycles I required dose adjustments and multiple ultrasounds. I had an hcg injection for my first cycle. After a pregnancy and miscarriage with my fourth cycle we agreed to try up to 3 more Luis. For my fifth cycle I was changed to Letrezole and produced good follicles and received another hcg injection. My sixth cycle was not completed due to multiple new onset cysts.

They get back to you promptly and explain rationale well. They will celebrate your successes and are genuinely excited. For setbacks They are compassionate without seeming like they pity you.

It can be difficult to get your desired appointment time as they do book up quickly. They do work to accommodate you and your schedule to the best of their abilities. They are open weekends and holidays and even open early in the morning so there is the ability to be seen before work. Its nice to not have to completely disrupt your schedule for an ultrasound or procedure
Describe the costs associated with your care under Jayme Bosler at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin.
Costs incurred for the initial and follow up appointments were around $500. The lab work totaled around $125. The HSG cost was around $1500. Each IUI with ultrasound was $1200 and $800 without. I was refunded $800 with my cancelled cycle. Nothing was covered by insurance except some of the lab work.

Dr. Bosler listened to my concerns and questions. She made me feel like she wanted the best outcome for my husband and I, and she helped us to understand our treatment options.... Dr. Bosler did a great job of making me feel comfortable as a patient. She explained the diagnosis that my husband received, which was CBAVD. She helped us to understand how we could still do IVF to get pregnant, and she explained what this entailed and the risks. Every time we meet with her she is always very empathetic and provides us with great information to help us as we move forward with the IVF process.
The clinic [Froedtert & Medical College] is very easy to contact, and we have always been able to schedule appointments within a reasonable amount of time. One struggle is that I have to be at work early before the clinic is open, so when we begin IVF I will need to come in late to work because of the appointment times for bloodworm and ultrasounds during my egg retrieval cycle... The nursing staff is always welcoming and friendly. They are knowledgeable and have been able to answer all of my questions.

I feel like when I do see the doctor [Dr. Schoyer] it seems so rushed that she's hardly taken the time to get to know myself or my husband as people. I know her job is mainly to get us pregnant but I feel that she could be a little more personal as this is a very personal and difficult journey. She is always polite and nice to us just lacking on the understanding of getting to know us. I wish our appointments weren't always so abrupt.
Some of the nurses I have spoken to on the phone [at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin] have been absolutely wonderful! Some of the nurses seemed to be lacking in compassion when it comes to such a sensitive treatment plan. Some of the nurses will really take the time to listen to my questions and answer bit others can be cold an abrupt. It seems to be hit or miss, however, I feel like more often I have gotten compassionate nurses on the phone.

What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Kate Schoyer at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin?
Be firm on what you want. Don't be afraid to ask her to elaborate or explain something again. I know she can talk kind of quickly and sometimes seems like she's rushing but don't be afraid to ask her to be in the moment with you. This is an incredibly personal journey and you need to feel confident in the doctor you are working with.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Kate Schoyer at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin?
Everytime I go to the office they are very busy and usually running behind. I typically will get in about 5-15 minutes later than my scheduled appointment. When I do finally see the doctor it is so brief that I hardly have time to think of the questions I have prepared and asked them.
Describe the protocols Kate Schoyer used in your cycles at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin and their degree of success.
We first did one cycle of Femara with time intercourse, ultrasound monitoring, and a trigger shot. I had on mature follicle. This did not result in a pregnancy. Second, we did an IUI with Femara, ultrasound monitoring, and a trigger shot. The NP did the IUI, not Dr Schoyer. I had one mature follicle. She also did a follow-up progesterone level 1 week after the IUI. This IUI did not result in a pregnancy. Third, we did a second IUI with Femara (we upped my dose from 2.5mg to 5mg), ultrasound monitoring, and a trigger shot. I had two mature follicles. I am currently 1 week into my two week wait to see if IUI #2 was a success.

Describe your experience with Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin.
It is a very busy clinic so sometimes it's hard to feel like your experience is personal. I know at times I have gone to make an appointment and literally only one time slot is available, and then the clinic runs late anyways. It can be very frustrating at times because they are not super flexible. However, some of the staff does try to be accommodating and helpful.
Describe the costs associated with your care under Kate Schoyer at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin.
Our insurance is a 25,000 lifetime max and our coverage is usually pretty good. Lab work was very minimal if we had to pay anything at all. My HSG was pretty pricey, I don't remember the exact cost but I think it was in the $350-550 range. We pay $135 per ultrasound, the ultrasound with the HCG trigger shot is about $175. Our total for IUI #1 with 1 ultrasound was about $385. We did two ultrasounds for IUI #2 so I'm estimating the cost to be closer to $450-500.
Describe Kate Schoyer's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin.
We have not talked much about IUI but from what little we have discusses it sounds like Dr Schoyer is typically in favor of single embryo transfer.

My treatment protocol [with Dr. Jayme Boslie] was the long Lupron protocol which included a birth control down regulation. I was stimulated with Menopur and Gonal F and triggered with HCG. I ended up with 30+ follicles and 14 mature eggs from that. Because of my response they did a great job of monitoring me close and adjusting meds as needed.... Dr. Bosler took the time that we needed to always answer all questions. She was direct like when we no longer could do a fresh transfer and had to switch to a freeze all. She explained the reasoning and took the time to make sure that we felt good about that decision. She always came into our appointments positively and was able to given us very reasonable expectations which I appreciated.
They [Froedert & Medical College of WI] offered Attain packages as well as their own package pricing of 12,000 which includes monitoring ultrasound and blood work, egg retrieval, anesthesia, ICSI, embryo transfer fees and freezing of embryos (doesn’t include medication). If cancelled before retrieval you get refunded 8,700 and if cancelled before transfer you get a 1,550 refund or credit. Their freeze all IvF package is 10,450 + 3,000 for the frozen transfer (again includes monitoring for both). Refund of 7,150 prior to egg retrieval and 2,150 if cancelled prior to embryo transfer. Different charges if you had your monitoring elsewhere. Like we did since we lived over an hour away. We received a financial booklet that laid out all the costs. We also paid extra for some genetic screening which was $349 without insurance

We have not completed a embryo transfer yet. From our discussion with Dr Bosler there are guidelines they follow to determine single vs multiple and it is really a case by case decision

She [Dr. Jayme Bosler] will tell you the truth even if its hard to hear. She ensured we were well informed as to our options and the pros and cons of each so we could make a well informed decision. She was respectful of our decisions and we never felt she was pushing her own personal bias on us....She is very passionate about Reproductive Medicine and has been for most of her adult life, she was an egg donor herself, and left an engineering career to pursue a Medical Degree in order to commit her life to helping other create the family they dream of. I can not say enough great things about Dr. Bosler as a medical professional and a person.
Whenever I speak with Heather [nurse at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin] I feel like she is my best friend. She always knows who I am and communicates professionally...per Egg Retreival Cycle - $12,000; Medications $4,000 per FET - $3,000; Medications- $260...They are very organized. Of course people have days off and there are times when I have spoken to someone I don't know, or haven't met before. But, everyone I have spoke with has been professional, and taken the time to look up my case and respond appropriately or refer me to someone else.

I realize the Doctors see many patients daily and weekly in various stages of TTC. I always felt they were prepared and knew exactly where I was at in my cycle and stage of TTC at every appointment.
Describe the protocols Jayme Bosler used in your cycles at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin and their degree of success.
We used 2 different protocols for each of my egg retrieval cycles. I was very hesitant at first because we were lucky enough to be successful with having a child from our initial IVF cycle. Dr Bosler called me herself and explained to me the reasoning for the change was to attempt to create better egg quality verses quantity. I had 28 eggs retrieved my first cycle and 5 made it to freeze. My second cycle, 22 eggs were retrieved and again 5 made it to freeze. So her planned worked, the retrieval to freeze ratio was better the 2nd round.

Yes. Dr Bosler explained the odds of successful pregnancy and the odds for multiple births to me. I have found this is a controversial topic as there are many studies that support both sides. Ultimately, it comes down to deciding whether or not a multiple pregnancy is right for us.

She [Dr. Schoyer] did not make us feel rushed, listened to our concerns, and did a day 3 transfer related to our history of embryos arresting. We appreciated her attention to detail as well. She is a very intelligent women.... She used birth control for a few weeks, Menopur 75 and Follistim 125 adding Ganirelex closer to retrieval. They grew my eggs slow and steady since last round I stimmed too quickly. Dr Shoyer monitored me closly throughout the cycle and was very observant.
Strengths- [Froedtert & Medical College of WI] research based, time management (didn’t feel rushed ever) compassion, the package pricing, my husband said their male room is better then our previous clinic haha Weakness-not clinics fault but financial burden of IVF... nurse line goes to voicemail a lot (but they always return the call in the same business day)... Andrea, Bridgett, and Heather were angels. They remembered our journey and previous conversations.
How was your experience with Kate Schoyer at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin?
She did not make us feel rushed, listened to our concerns, and did a day 3 transfer related to our history of embryos arresting. We appreciated her attention to detail as well. She is a very intelligent women. Although she is not as soft as Dr Bosler, we felt well taken care of on various levels.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Kate Schoyer at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin?
To bring a notebook as this process is so overwhelming, let the small things go (as infertility is a roller coaster of emotions), and trust the process because Dr Shoyer has a lot of wisdom and experience.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Kate Schoyer at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin?
She took the time to explain every step of the way, was there for us, and we felt she did everything she could to help us.

Andrea, Bridgett, and Heather were angels. They remembered our journey and previous conversations. They made us feel safe and secure during this stressful process. I could tell they wanted the best outcome for us.

2 retrievals and unlimited FET 21k didn’t include meds
Describe Kate Schoyer's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin.
She definitely wanted us to go the single route based off research. But because of our history and the fact it was a day 3 (less info on which would survive to day 5) she was open to let us make that decision. We did decide to do 2 because of those reasons.

Dr. Bosler was wonderful to work with. She not only understood my goals and took the time to learn my health history, but she also took into account my personal circumstances (such as finances and insurance coverage) and helped me factor that into my decision making. She clearly laid out my chances and risks with each course of treatment, and when I didn't conceive within the first few tries, she consulted with other doctors both within and outside the practice to help determine what further testing might be wise and which approach might be best for next steps.
The nursing staff at the clinic [Froedert Fertility] was really on top of things. I worked with a variety of nurses over the course of my treatment, and they always had quick access to all the information they needed. They were always able to respond to my questions quickly and explained things clearly. They were also very compassionate and professional regarding failed cycles.

When I didn't see her at my last appointment (due to an unexpected emergency), she sent me a very kind congratulatory note. In short, she was wonderful to work with, and made me feel in control and well advised.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Jayme Bosler at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin?
Don't be afraid to ask questions - the doctor is willing to spend time to help you understand your best options.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Jayme Bosler at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin?
Dr. Bosler always took as much time as necessary to listen and answer questions. At this particular clinic, IUIs and ultrasounds are handled by the available doctors, so I didn't always see Dr. Bosler, but it was very clear that they consulted about me before I saw other doctors in the practice for procedures and they discussed my case. My care was very consistent and personalized.
Describe the protocols Jayme Bosler used in your cycles at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin and their degree of success.
I did six cycles of IUIs with donor sperm. My test results showed no expected fertility problems and were very good for my age, but my long and slightly irregular cycles prompted Dr. Bosler to suggest using Clomid to increase the chances of ovulation. Cycles 1 and 2 involved 50 mg clomid days 3-7, monitoring ultrasounds to track follicle growth, a trigger shot administered when lead follicle was at least 18 mm, with IUI the next day (days 17 and 18). Both cycles resulted in negative HPT. Cycles 3 and 4 still used 50 mg clomid on days 3-7, but ovulation was tracked using ovulation predictor kits at home (at my request). These cycles had later IUIs (days 20 and 21). Both resulted in negative HPT. At this point, I had another consult with Dr. Bosler, who, after speaking with another doctor in the practice, Dr. Strawn, ordered some additional tests to look at cortisone and testosterone levels. Due to some slightly high results, I was referred to an endocrinologist outside the practice, eventually getting a PCOS diagnosis. After that diagnosis, Dr. Bosler met with me again to discuss options, looking at both my test results and what was financially feasible for me. We decided to continue with IUIs. Cycles 5 and 6 were on 5 mg Letrozole, which produced more follicles for me than clomid. There were monitoring ultrasounds for both rounds and a trigger shot with the IUI the next day. Cycle 5 was a negative HPT, but cycle 6 was a success, with a positive HPT followed by doubling beta tests.

Describe your experience with Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin.
This clinic is a well-oiled machine. I was very worried going into fertility treatments about the amount of information, the financial aspect of it, insurance coverage, privacy, etc. But the clinic had everything covered. From the front desk staff to the schedulers to the financial coordinator to the nurses -- they are in sync. They are professional yet compassionate, and I felt very supported by the entire team.
Describe the costs associated with your care under Jayme Bosler at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin.
The clinic provided a complete overview of all costs, from testing to procedures, with prices for insured and uninsured patients. My testing costs were covered by insurance, so I do not know the totals for those. My IUIs were $800 each, not including monitoring or the trigger shot, which were covered by insurance.

I think overall the approach to working with LGBTQ folx has been better than I expected; that said there's always room for improvement. Overall the fertility world can do more to incorporate transgender parents-to-be (both non-gestational and gestational) into language and care. Overall the clinic is pretty well coordinated and I'm impressed with the level of communication between the team as a whole. The team works 7 days a week which means you will never have to miss a cycle, but also means you will be working with everyone there. Pretty satisfied with our experience so far!

She [Dr. Jayme Bosler] was very sympathetic from the get go to what I was going through and assured me she would try to figure out what was going on and how we could fix it. ... We had planned to use Letrozole because my egg count indicated I was not ovulating regularly. Because my other testing and my husbands sperm count/motility came back normal, we thought it best to then do monitored IUI for one cycle and reassess after the one cycle whether or not there not there needed to b monitoring.
Ease of making appointments was great [at Froedtert & Medical College of WI], I never waited too long to be seen, all parts of the nursing staff were kind and communicated well with me. Since this is the only specialist I saw, I don't have much to compare to. I don't know that I would say the clinic has any weaknesses.... The nursing staff was just as compassionate, patient, and understanding as Dr Bosler.

Dr Bosler is professional but down to earth. She talks to me like I’m a real person and doesn’t get frustrated or annoyed when I need more explintion or have questions. She’s quick, but professional.... She felt like a friendship, rather than always talking at me. She could predict questions I may have & helped me to feel like I was heard and understood.
The nursing staff [at Froedtert & Medical College of WI-Menomonee Falls] is wonderful and typically can answer questions without having to run to the doctor, but they are slow to answer the phones or return ... Doctor Bosler did all my testing and found a hydrosalpinx. My right tube wasn’t completely blocked so we moved forward with an IUI with letrozole 5mg days 3-7, & 2 ultrasounds to check ovulation. We triggered ovulation at the second ultrasound.calls.

The receptionist team: One is very friendly (African American Lady), & the other (white) is a bit mean and harsh at times. The wait times are quick and the clinic is clean and beautiful. They offer coffee in the lobby and a secure clinic where you don’t feel like you’re heard or seen in any part of it.

An IUI costs around $1,200-1,500. We have insurance and haven’t seen the bills to know what we will pay out of pocket.

we were with Dr. Strawn for many years and many cycles, he was great. We liked his straight forward answers to our questions. He didn't treat us as a number, he remembered us every time we were in and when we did become pregnant he was just as excited as we were... I do remember being monitored closely and the doctors making decisions based on the ultrasound and blood work. I even had a cycle stopped once because of polyps and the doctor felt I had a better chance with IVF with them removed.
Look into the multi cycle packages [at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin]...The nursing staff was great. They were very helpful and always available...The clinic was moved a few years ago from the main hospital to a seperate building. The upgrades were great. The new location is easier to get to and was alot of more comfortable. The exam rooms were separated from the procedure rooms which was great...The nurses and doctors knew me every time I walked in. The nurses were always available and helpful when I had questions. Everyone was honest with us as well. Any question we asked got an upfront answer and no tip toeing around it.
