Attention to Detail

Attention to detail is on a 1 - 10 scale, and is scored based on the rate, and severity, of errors committed by the clinic according to the patients.

For example, a severe error might be failing to inform a patient of critical information, while a small error might be failing to call a patient with results.

CDC Success Rates

This is the most recent data from the CDC. The CDC cautions that it should not be used to compare doctors and clinics. This data represents the outcomes of IVF cycles when using a person's own eggs.

For more information please see our FAQs.

Where you see a “?” on the chart, a clinic has done fewer than 20 cycles in this category and age range, so the CDC says showing percentages from this small data set would be misleading and unreliable.

Dr. Greer is amazing and very good at his job...I could really hear and feel and see the empathy on his face. He thoroughly explained which treatment options may be the best for us and gave us amazing resources. He truly has helped us a lot through our journey...he was a little blunt, which is okay
This clinic [at Idaho Urologic Institute] is very good overall. The only thing I would say they could improve on is flexibility with scheduling...The strengths are: a very large, beautiful, and clean clinic. It feels very private and that is nice...they could improve on is flexibility with scheduling...Schedule appointments early
How was your experience with John Greer at Idaho Urologic Institute?
Dr. Greer is the best of his profession and I truly believe that. We were referred to him by my OBGYN. Dr. Greer was very thorough with his examination and full bloodwork panel on my husband as well as another semen analysis. When we had our follow up consult, I barely had any questions because he explained everything so thorough. I could really tell Dr. Greer empathetic of our situation and gave us the best treatment options available.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of John Greer at Idaho Urologic Institute?
Schedule appointments early, he can get booked up pretty fast.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with John Greer at Idaho Urologic Institute?
To start things off, Dr. Greer is amazing and very good at his job. You can really tell he’s very good at his profession. At first, he was a little blunt, which is okay. But when our results came back, I could really hear and feel and see the empathy on his face. He thoroughly explained which treatment options may be the best for us and gave us amazing resources. He truly has helped us a lot through our journey.
Describe the protocols John Greer used in your cycles at Idaho Urologic Institute and their degree of success.
We didn’t have the pleasure of doing treatment with Dr. Greer due to our results. After our initial consultation, we had a full bloodwork panel done on my husband to evaluate testosterone, LH, and prolactin. We also did another more thorough semen analysis. About 2 days later, we had a follow up consultation to review results and get a treatment plan. If we decided to move forward with semen donor, we would order semen from the Sperm Bank of California, and Dr. Greer would perform the IUI. We have decided to move forward with IVF.
Describe your experience with your nurse at Idaho Urologic Institute. (Assigned nurse: Hope Rapacon)
Hope was just as amazing as Dr. Greer and very thorough when it came to answering our questions and doing the bloodwork for my husband. She also is prompt with her emails when we had questions regarding the sperm donor process!
Describe your experience with Idaho Urologic Institute.
This clinic is very good overall. The only thing I would say they could improve on is flexibility with scheduling, and the front desk could be unprofessional at times. The strengths are: a very large, beautiful, and clean clinic. It feels very private and that is nice. They also do schedule appointments pretty early in the mornings so that is a huge benefit for people who are still working through their infertility journey.
Describe the costs associated with your care under John Greer at Idaho Urologic Institute.
For our treatment under Dr. Greer, we paid $60 for initial consultation, roughly $400 for a full bloodwork panel, and $100 for a semen analysis. This is with insurance coverage (we do not have fertility coverage)
Describe John Greer's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at Idaho Urologic Institute.
