This is the most recent data from the CDC. The CDC cautions that it should not be used to compare doctors and clinics. This data represents the outcomes of IVF cycles when using a person's own eggs.
For more information please see our FAQs.
Where you see a “?” on the chart, a clinic has done fewer than 20 cycles in this category and age range, so the CDC says showing percentages from this small data set would be misleading and unreliable.
Dr. Brody is the most compassionate and understanding doctor I have been yet in my journey. Not to mention the most thorough doctor I have ever seen. ... Dr. Brody does a full fertility work up to start including blood, ultrasound, bone scan and even possible an MRI if there is anything showing odd on your ultrasound. ... He not only is an endocrinologist but he is also an OBGYN as well!!! So his knowledge is truly magnificent.
The only thing I feel is a disadvantage is that they [Infertility & Lifespan Medical Institute] sadly dont have a surgical center on site. ... Due to him also being an OBGYN my insurance has paid for everything because he has made sure to code it correctly so that even my basic insurance which has no fertility coverage whatsoever would have to cover the work up and surgery preparing for the start of the IVF process. ... Pat [nurse] is ABSOLUTELY amazing as well she has worked alongside Dr. Brody for many years and cares just as much about the patients as Dr. Brody does. She is amazing at what she does!!!!
How was your experience with Steven Brody at Infertility & Lifespan Medical Institute?
Dr. Brody is the most compassionate and understanding doctor I have been yet in my journey. Not to mention the most thorough doctor I have ever seen. Even though I had previous test he felt it was imperative to do another workup inorder to have a current full picture of where i am with my fertility currently. Helping me with getting anything I can approved by my insurance along the way even though I don't have infertility coverage. He TRULY cares and makes sure you know that at the end of each visit. I am truly blessed to have such a knowledgeable and kind doctor with my through this experience. He not only is an endocrinologist but he is also an OBGYN as well!!! So his knowledge is truly magnificent.

Describe the protocols Steven Brody used in your cycles at Infertility & Lifespan Medical Institute and their degree of success.
Dr. Brody does a full fertility work up to start including blood, ultrasound, bone scan and even possible an MRI if there is anything showing odd on your ultrasound. He also trys and makes sure to cover all bases as well so that he and you both have a clear picture and understanding of what to expect in the process. Also if you have any cyst on your ovaries prior to ovarian stimulation he would like them removed so that you can only have the very best outcome for the stimulation and retrieval. Because he says that the quality of eggs retrieved and much better and the stimulation is not as painful with the cyst removed prior. That is where I currently am in the journey with Dr. Brody. Which is giving me time to find out how I am going to pay for the actual IVF however, due to him being an OBGYN as well my insurance has paid for everything up to this point. And he is amazing with making sure to put the appropriate codes to have insurance pay for the pree work up he does. Which honestly saves thousands!!!

Describe your experience with Infertility & Lifespan Medical Institute.
I believe due to Dr. Brody being an OBGYN as well that the major strength they have is that unlike most fertility clinics they are unable to get test covered by insurance that does not have fertility benefits yet and his office can due to him being an OBGYN as well. Which in the long run saves thousands if not tens of thousands!!!!! The only thing I feel is a disadvantage is that they sadly dont have a surgical center on site. However, is colleague Dr. Bayrak is just as amazing and they truly work beautifully together in your treatment process.

So far for my blood test, ultrasound, MRI, Bone Scan, and cyst removal surgery I have not had to pay a penny out if pocket. Due to him also being an OBGYN my insurance has paid for everything because he has made sure to code it correctly so that even my basic insurance which has no fertility coverage whatsoever would have to cover the work up and surgery preparing for the start of the IVF process.
