It is hard to describe a man that I have not seen nor talked to the 8months that I have been his patient. We started with a consultation that his nurse conducted. I’ve not once talked to him in person, on the phone or through any other means of communication. I’m truly feeling empty, heartbroken and as I have no one to trust going through these treatments.

Please find a different clinic.

The first 5 months we decided on a medicated cycle with timed intercourse which I felt comfortable with since that is how we conceived our daughter through RMA Troy in just 2 cycles. Half of the cycles I had ovulated before they even brought me in for my blood work or ultrasound so they were wasted cycles. Only adjustments made we moving tearing up by 1 day. 6 cycles and no pregnancy. We have now moved on to IVF. Our first month was canceled because my progesterone levels were elevated by .05. No reasoning as to why this caused a cancelation. Nurses try to help but they can only tell me so much. It’s been a nightmare and I’m wholeheartedly disappointed in this whole ordeal and if we were not so far into this treatment we would have left a long time ago.

Ultrasound and bloodwork are $300 each per visit. $1400 for traditional IVF NOT including, medication, egg freezing, anesthesia, storing of eggs, ultrasound and bloodwork or any other testing

He prefers single embryo transfer for all patients unless you are very young with no other issues.

Dr. Abuzeid is an amazing doctor. He has a warm, caring demeanor and truly listened to my concerns. He is incredibly knowledgeable and prescribes very specific plans based on the needs of his patients.

The office is busy. It is one of the only fertility clinics in our area; however, Dr. Abuzeid is a fantastic doctor and I wouldn’t hesitate to go to him again for fertility needs.

After comprehensive testing, we were essentially diagnosed with unexplained infertility issues because there were many small reasons why we were having trouble conceiving. Dr. Abuzeid suggested IVF for us because we were not good candidates for other expensive procedures such as IUI. I did one round of IVF injections/medications for about 11 days, did a 5 day fresh transfer of two embryos and I am currently 15 weeks pregnant with boy/girl twins.

Almost all of my medications, follicle scans, and appointments were covered by my insurance. Dr. Abuzeid’s one time fees were very reasonable compared to what I’ve heard others pay for their treatments at other clinics.

Dr. Abuzeid presented us with the option of transferring one or two embryos and left it completely up to us to decide. We transferred two embryos and I am currently pregnant with boy/girl twins.

He was very kind. Fertility is a very hard experience on its own. And he is a very kind and gentle doctor in the way that he delivers good news and bad news. I would recommend him to anyone and soon as I can go back that is the plan.

To ask as many questions as you can. And it's very important to be educated in the process. He answered all the questions that I had very thoroughly. To be educated about the process is the best thing you can do to prepare yourself

They just decided to do a 3-day transfer instead of a 5-day transfer. the odds of a 3-day transfer are just as good as a 5-day transfer because sometimes the embryos do better inside the uterus versus a petri dish. Although I was unable to get pregnant we will try again

Monitoring appointments for the office I was at was Monday Wednesday Fridays between 7 and 7:30. That was a first come first serve basis. I didn't have any problems getting in and out quickly as long as I showed up early

The overall IVF procedure was a little over $10,000

I only saw Dr. Abuzeid himself a couple of times. His physician's assistant managed much of my diagnosis, while in communication with Dr. Abuzeid. Dr. Abuzeid himself performed two surgical procedures which led to pregancy, while his PAs performed all other procedures in office.

Ask questions, particularly if you are initially being treated by PAs in his office. If you are unhappy with the care you are receiving from the PAs, ask to be put in touch with Dr. Abuzeid himself. He will take care of the situation.

My treatement began after 10 unsuccessful cycles of Clomid with my OB/GYN and a suspicion of PCOS, but with infertility largely undiagnosed. Dr. Abuzeid's treatment began with a consultation with a PA in the office. The PA sent me for a new HSG test, along with more in-depth bloodwork, including testing ovarian reserve. The PA also ordered a transvaginal ultrasound and a saline sonography. This diagnosed a need to have a hysteroscopy to remove uterine polyps detected on saline sonography and a laproscopy to determine why my HSG and ultrasounds were indicating something interfering with my tubes or ovaries. Dr. Abuzeid performed both surgeries at the same time, removing uterine polyps and correcting a tubal diverticulum, but finding no other issues internally. We progressed to trying again naturally and were pregnant within 2 months.

In total, including surgery, I paid approximately $1000 to Dr. Abuzeid's office for their services. There were additional hospital costs but not for IVF Michigan services.

Dr. Abuzied took the time to explain everything my procedure would entail. Having not met him until surgery day, my mind was instantly put to ease and I was able to see the results of my surgery immediately after. He made my husband and I feel so comfortable.

Ask as many questions as possible, he will explain everything for you. I have heard nothing but great things and I am excited to move forward.

As a new patient of Dr. Abuzied, I needed to have more extensive testing done to begin with. I had bloodwork done immediately, an HSG test done, a saline sonogram which diagnosed my uterine polyps, and a hysteroscopy with d&c shortly thereafter. He makes sure to have as much information as possible to base his decisions on. We had no idea I had polyps, so to finally have some answers and a plan was amazing.

The bloodwork was done through Quest Diagnostics but was sent right away to this clinic. So far, we have spent about $600 or so with Dr. Abuzied’s office. In the grand scheme of things, that is very affordable diagnostic care and we are very happy so far with the tests that have been run.

Dr Abuzeid is very compassionate about his work. He makes treatments more affordable for those who cannot afford it. He explains every procedure and every treatments possible. He lets you make monthly payments and gives you options that are more suitable for you and your spouse. I feel very safe in his hands and very trustworthy of him. He sits down with you and goes over every single test and what every never means. He explains the next step and what to expect of it. He changes protocol if needed to best match your needs. Overall I am very satisfied with his office and his work. He is an amazing doctor and I could not be more satisfied at this time.

Ask all the questions you want and he will do his best to answer them all. He is very compassionate and loving doctor who wants to see your dream come true. He is not out to get your money, instead he is there to make it more affordable for you and your partner! I am so pleased with this doctor.

We are currently talking about frozen embryo transfer and what the protocol should be for somebody like me and my diagnosis. We are running more tests to prepare for our frozen cycle. Such as running more tests to make sure we don’t miscarry again or make sure this round we achieve a pregnancy.

IUI cost $600, FET $4500, IVF $10,000 and if you work in medical field you also get discount of 15% off. And you can mKe payments as well. Monthly payments.

My approach is if your egg quality not as good multiple egg transfer is likely best for you. If your egg quality is pretty good then possibly one is better for you because the chance of multiples.

Dr. Abuzeid is amazing and I do not have any complaints about him. He is very good about including you in your own healthcare decisions and formulating a treatment plan with the patient vs. for the patient. As a nurse, I appreciate that I was able to have input in our treatment.

Write down all your questions to ensure you get them all answered and so you don’t feel rushed. He is a busy man!

My first cycle we used Gonal F and menopur, then added Cetrotide eventually. My second cycle we did estrogen priming with the same meds. My last day of stimulation medications my dosages of Gonal F and Menopur were increased.

Long wait unless you arrive prior to 7am. I always tried to be the first person there.

An average cycle is about 15,000 I believe.

In my case for both of my transfers he has recommend transferring 2 embryos. He completely left the decision up to my husband and I but let us know his recommendation.

Dr. Abuzeid was wonderful. He clearly knew what he was doing and treated each patient individually and uniquely. He was so compassionate and kind. I trusted him 100% and if I ever decide to do IVF again, he will be my doctor.

Trust your doctor!

My protocol included Gonal-F, cetrotide, a trigger shot, and an HCG booster shot after transfer. I have PCOS so he monitored me very closely to avoid OHSS.

There was always a line when I arrived first thing in the morning. I had a 2 hour drive each way and worked full time so I had to be there first thing. As long as I got there 20 minutes early, my wait was bearable.

The cost of my IVF cycle was $10,000. That included monitoring, retrieval, and transfer. His office offered a discount if you met income requirements. He also offers payment plans.

Dr. Abuzeid explained the benefits of one embryo vs. two as well as all risks involved. The decision was completely mine.

He is very kind and very thorough. He always explains everything. He is compassionate and gentle. His office is very busy. There is sometimes a long weight. He is definitely looking out for your best interest always. He is very optimistic but honest. I feel like he did his very best for our cycle even though it ended in miscarriage. We are definitely staying with him for our 'hopeful' second cycle (if we can get the funds). I feel like he is one of the pioneers of the field and really understands and is talented in the field of ivf.

Be prepared to wait in the waiting room. But you can trust they will do their very best to achieve your pregnancy.

Because my husband had a Vasectomy with his first wife, we had to extract his semen and freeze it prior to Tx. (We didn't know if there would be any at all due to length of time) I went on BC to prepare for Ivf. I was on menopur and follistem with lupron in the morning. I didn't have to do the Progesterone in Oil, but had 3 other forms of progesterone. My Trigger was an Intramuscular drug. I Believe I was stemmed for 8 days? We had to transfer on day 3 because the eggs were not doing that great. The best 2 were picked. That he believed would do well enough to continue. None of the remaining eggs made it to day 5 to freeze. I received a pregnant blood test, 2 weeks later. My numbers were incredibly high. But was heart broken to find no heart beat at 5 weeks. The sacs were super low. I was sent to a specialist for additional U/S. I asked to wait til 9 weeks to check again. No heart beat at 9weeks. My body would not M/C on its own because of the IVF drugs. So we had to do a D & C, and I had the worst pain of my life that night after the surgery. I thought I would die from the pain. Dr.Abuzeid was very kind and emphatic. Not sure if endometriosis made everything worse. Even with everything that happened, I would go out on the limb to try again, for a chance at motherhood.

It was every other morning from 6-9am. You had to wait in lobby. It was first come first serve. They tried to get people in and out though.

7,000 IVF cycle. 15,000 for IVF cycle with embryo testing. 800 to freeze. 40/mo for sperm storage. 1,200 for IUI. 1,200 to sperm aspiration.

I was happy with transferring 2.

I don’t see any weaknesses by dr Abuzeid. My only complaint is to be able to see him more. But I know he is a very busy man and treats many couples. He has many strengths including compassion, knowledge, and understanding. He always has a smile on his face and treats you how you should be treated when going through the IVF process.

Trust the doctor and follow his recommendations. He is very experienced and has you best interest in mind.

I don’t remember all of the medications used, but I prepped with an ovarian supplement for a couple of months prior to retrieval.

I don’t know my exact cost. My insurance doesn’t cover IVF so unless it was labs or ultrasounds I was self pay.

I really liked Dr. Abuzeid. He has a very warm bedside manner but he was, also, very real with us about our situation. Since, we were older he gave us all the statistics but in a warm manner. Dr. Abuzeid was very open to our input. For instance, he thought I should go straight to IVF due to my age. But ,since he diagnosed me an uterine septum, I wanted a hysteroscopy for him to fix the uterine septum to avoid a miscarriage. He didnt exactly agree, but, he respected our wishes and did the hysteroscopy to fix my uterus.

To ask lots of questions and be an advocate for yourself.

I believe it was a very conservative approach and very cookie cutter. Menopur, Gonal-F, and Cetrotide.

Monitoring appts were very easy. Their was a general window for monitoring and I would get there early and get right in.

I believe the IVF cycle was $10,000.

For my age, Dr. Abuzeid believed I should transfer 2 embryos and educated us on multiples.

Dr Abuzeid performed a hysteroscopy, laparoscopy, and IUI on me. He was very professional, explained everything he was doing in detail, and after my surgery went over with my husband what he found. He has great bedside manner, was very compassionate and positive.

He operates out of several offices, so you may have to see his PA. She is just as wonderful as he is, though!

For my IUI, I took 5 mg of femara for 5 days (cycle days 4-8), I did Gonal-F injections (150 IU), an ovidrel trigger shot, and progesterone tabs 3 times per day following the IUI.

My insurance covered all monitoring and medication, but my IUI with sperm wash was $850.

Dr. Abuzeid is very kind and compassionate while also being realistic. Be prepared to answer a million questions with your first consultation. I never felt rushed or pressured to make a decision and all of the options were clearly explained to me.

It may take a while to get an appointment with Dr. Abuzeid but it's worth the wait. He is a truly talented doctor. If anyone can help you get pregnant it's him!

Insurance has covered medications and procedures so far. Just normal co pays for medication.

I feel like the doctor is listening to me but he always leaves things open ended. He will present options and leave us to choose when I feel like it’s his job to tell us what to do. He will explain what’s going on but not directly say “Here’s what we’re going to do.”

Don’t be afraid to ask questions and be direct.

My office visits were $40 each time. Ultrasound monitoring and bloodwork were $150 each month during Clomid treatment. IVF has been estimated at $11,000 per cycle.

Our experience with him has been excellent. I always had a lot of questions, and Dr. Abuzeid took time to explain everything and showed compassion at every step. He is extremely knowledgeable and experienced.

He was amazing. I did bring thoughts and ideas to the table just based off my medical history and he took them into account and ordered the proper test to investigate those things. Seriously so grateful for his care

Be informed on yourself and openly talk with him. He will listen.

It was fine. I mean it's early in the morning which makes it convenient but then again I wasn't really awake.

Thorough, kind, and compassionate. I never felt rushed, even though office is incredibly busy. Fully explained risks of hysteroscopy. Seemed to be upfront with expectations and next plan of care.

Be prepared for a process and big work up.

Hysteroscopy. Monitored cycle with planned intercourse. + pregnancy but resulted MC at 7 weeks. IVF soon.

Dr Abuzeid truly cares for his patients and wants them succeed. He offers very reasonable pricing compared to other clinics. He makes you feel relaxed and he understands your emotions when things don’t turn out. Although I am not pregnant yet, I never blame Dr Abuzeid. I trust that he is doing everything he can to make pregnancy successful for me, and only science (and faith) can take over from there. The only setback about the clinic is that he is the one and only doctor, meaning that you only will see him for procedures and treatment plan consultations. This does not bother me, but I know this may not be optimal for some patients.

He is a very busy man, so be patient with the clinic. He has a waiting list and treatment cycles take time but I promise that his care is worth the wait!

Being that I have PCOS and was 30 years old at the time, Dr Abuzeid thought it best to try mini IVF. He offered IUI but I declined and wanted to go straight to IVF after doing multiple rounds of Clomid with my regular OBGYN. He thought mini IVF would be best so that I would not get hyper stimulated ovaries. I was mainly on Menopur and Gonal-F injectables. Nearing the end before retrieval, I did take Pregnyl as well. My retrieval occurred May 2021. He declared it a very successful retrieval with 14 eggs, 10 fertilized with ICSI, and 8 made it to blastocyst. Although I opted to not genetically test my embryos (Dr Abuzeid agreed it was not necessary considering my age), he stated that the grading “on paper” of my embryos ranged from good/average (3BB) to perfect 5AA. My fresh transfer was unsuccessful which we attributed to my body possibly not being ready so soon after retrieval. I did have a frozen transfer a few months later (August 2021) where I transferred 2 embryos. This resulted in a chemical pregnancy. Up until this point, I had waived a hysteroscopy with Dr Abuzeid on board with me wanting to try naturally first. He told me he would really prefer to do a hysteroscopy before any future transfers. Now (April 2022), I just underwent a hysteroscopy where he repaired a dip in the roof of my uterus. I will be pursuing another frozen transfer this summer where I again plan to transfer 2 embryos. Dr Abuzeid always discusses risks of multiple embryos but has remained comfortable with my decision.

My insurance covers all office visits, ultrasounds, and billable procedures (subject to my deductible/copays). I paid $4000 for my mini IVF retrieval which included the retrieval and fresh transfer. I paid $300 for anesthesia. I paid around $5000 for medications (purchased elsewhere). I believe frozen transfers cost around $4500 but Dr Abuzeid graciously offered me a discount of $2500 for my previous FET due to personal circumstances. I paid $1100 for the meds for FET and it was $1000 for embryo storage.

Dr Abuzeid always discussed the risks of multiple embryos. He usually recommends one, but was comfortable with my decision of 2 when I did my FET.

Dr Abuzeid is warm and genuine person. Always listens to you and won't rushes on giving you the quick treatment. As he tries to understand the underlying cause for your infertility condition. He does lot of test before starting your fertility treatment.

Be patient and things will workout for you. You are in the safe hands.

first we had a treatment to remove polyps and clear the Fallopian tube blockage. That worked out fine. Next we used fertility medication for 4 months. it did not work out for us then we went with IVF for one cycle. This cycle did not work out for us but we are planning on going for IUI for next cycle.

The nurse who did the Ultra sound and blood work are wonderful. they go through the scan in detail and gives us the confidence what is happening and what to expect.

They had special going on for Christmas and IVF treatment was discounted to $5500 (after 50% off). They always look and prescribe based on what insurance covers.

It was good

Dr. Abuzeid has been the most kind and sincere doctor I've ever encountered in the infertility field. He took his time to make sure we had all testing done and really got down to the bottom of what was causing our infertility struggle. He never once jumped straight to ivf, his goal was to get us pregnant. Whether we got pregnant via iui, ivf or naturally he didn't mind, he is the first doctor that cares about you as a human being versus just in it for the money. If he can help you get pregnant naturally by fixing a simple problem then he's all for it. There are many patients that have gone to see him who had gotten pregnant naturally after having simple surgeries to fix whatever was causing their infertility. He is happy for all his patience regardless

Be patient! Everything takes time to complete in the testing phase, never give up

We did a full ivf cycle with 150 menopur and 150 gonal. Stimmed for 9 days and triggered on day 10. Had 12 eggs retrieved, all 12 were mature and 11 fertilized. 10 made it to day 5, 6 were frozen and 2 transferred.

Monitoring apts were super easy. The office has early hours open for monitoring and it's done on a first come first serve basis. Just go there and sign in and wait your turn

Retrieval and transfer- $10,250 6 embryo freezing - $800 Testing done before IVF cycle - can't remember pricing on these as some were done at an outside lab

Dr Abuzeid makes you feel so comfortable. He is the kindest, most caring man and genuinely wants everyone to have a healthy baby. He listens with open ears and allows you to make educated decisions under his care. He does not force you or make you feel bad about any decisions whatsoever. He wants everyone to be informed and educated and truly loves what he does.

Allow him to lead the discussion. He will lay out all options and allow you to choose based on what he sees/finds.

Traditional IVF. Gonal 150 and menopur 150. Menopur was upped the last few days. Also was on ganirelix .25 to prevent premature ovulation. Took that twice a day towards the end. Had 5 monitoring appts. Egg retrieval produced 16 eggs. 14 mature and 12 fertilized. Of the 12, only 7-8 continued to grow past day 3. On day 5, I had one 4AB embryo and one early blast that we implanted. The rest did not continue to grow and did not make it to freeze. Transferred two embryos. Resulting in a chemical pregnancy.

They have monitoring from 7-9 am Monday through Friday. It is run nicely but sometimes there is a long line. You just wait in the waiting room and wait to be called.

$9,500 for traditional IVF. $1,500 for monitoring. I paid $2500 for meds (not through their clinic). And another $2,000 or so for miscellaneous appts and monitoring I needed.

Dr. Abuzeid is an amazing doctor and person. The first time meeting him, I knew I trusted him. He is compassionate and I can tell he cares deeply about his profession to help us who are having difficulty conceiving.

Make sure you have everything written down before your first consultation. He likes to go over everything and will write it down. He likes to gather all information from every angle before he starts any treatment. That’s what is so great about Dr. Abuzeid

I am in the stages of diagnosis and many tests being run for treatment. I have done 6 cycles of clomid with another dr and was not pleased with the outcome. I know I’m in the right place now, and I’m impressed with Dr. Abuzeid and his staff

Consultations 160 each time Ultrasounds vary 280-330 Lab work was done at my in network lab facility and covered by my insurance.

I really appreciate they way Dr. Abuzeid explains all of our options, risk, and provides statistics on our specific case. Even with every IUI he may not do the actual procedure but he reviews my blood work, ultrasounds and advises the nurses on what to do next on every step of the way. He listens and also give you a chance to talk and ask questions or concerns. It feels like he genuinely care and wants to help us get pregnant. He lays or options out and lets us decide how we would like to proceed.

There may be a long wait especially on your first visit so bring a book and your patience. It will be totally worth it. He has a had in all his patients, managing his staff, surgery etc.. At two locations.

We completed 2 IUI's all with the same medication protocol. Femara the first 5 days of cycle followed by two or three gonal f injections. The number of injections was based on my follicle growth from the monitored ultrasounds. IUI #1 I did two 150 gonal f injections and I got pregnant but miscarried at 6 weeks. IUI #2 I took three gonal f injections and this cycle I did not end up pregnant. I am currently going through IUI #3 and I had three gonal f injections. Waiting to find out if I am pregnant. If not we are headed to IVF. My husband has retrograde ejaculation where the sperm is going backward and into the bladder. So he is on Allegra, and a sodium bicarbonate protocol. His urologist just added a new medication (antidepressant) that is supposed to help with retrograde ejaculation. Dr. Abuzeid agrees with the add to his protocol. Hardly any sperm comes out of my husband so we will definitely need assistance to get pregnant because this problem causes low sperm count. For all of our IUI's they have to pull sperm from my husband urine and wash it for the IUI.

The first IUI and ultrasounds were covered at 100%. The second IUI was covered at 50% for some reason and the same procedure codes were used. I will have to look into this. Total cost out of pocket is almost $400. The third IUI has not been billed yet. Medication for each cycle cost $1600 per cycle. My insurance does not cover IVF at all what so ever.

We have not has to do an embryo transfer yet. If IUI # 3 is not successful we will be headed down this road.

I have to go through IVF to have children because both of my tubes were completely removed due to an erotic. I’ve been pregnant 7 times with 4 healthy pregnancies before the Ethiopic. Dr. Abuzeid was a very reputable man recommended to me so I went and seen him. Our first appointment went great! He started by having us getting blood work done and doing a semen analysis. When the results came back he said my husband morphology wasn’t amazing but it was plenty good enough to move forward. We proceeded and started our hormone injections. During monitoring we never seen the doctor only seen nurses. Also never received a phone call about dosage increase or our lining from Dr. Abuzeid only heard from nurses. I didn’t react as good as I thought I would so he increased my dose and we ended up with 7 eggs. After retrieval he put me on meds to prepare my body for transfer. I get checked two or three times up till transfer. They didn’t seem sure of my lining thickness but increased my endometrium and progesterone. They called us to come in and transfer on day 3. On transfer day he explained that my eggs were oval shaped and that it didn’t mean anything cause once they hatched into an embryo the shell would be gone. He also rechecked my lining and said “I think it’s good to transfer”. He left how many we wanted to transfer up to us so we went with two. Neither stuck and I truly felt like it had to do with my lining and timing. So he called us to let us know it was negative and we could transfer again and he wouldn’t charge us full amount cause he felt terrible that we didn’t get our positive. We set up an appointment but couldn’t afford the price. We went in thinking he was going to cut us a deal. So we waited a year and went back. Our first visit with Dr. Abuzeid he apologized again for it not working last round and he re-ran labs cause I told him after the last round I was going up to 63 days without having a mentral cycle and that I always had regular mental cycles before our last IVF cycle. He ran them and we paid. Our cost was over double what our first round cost and he recommended a mini IVF cycle at first. We listened as we trusted that he was the expert. After talking to the nurse about our dosage of meds I reminded her that I didn’t respond well last round of IVF and my meds got increased and so she looked at my chart and said you’re right I see what you’re saying and she talked to Dr. Abuzeid and he says that we’d do a full cycle. He was very adamant about doing another full cycle or mini even though we already had three frozen. We questioned him why and he said he felt better about getting a few more eggs. At this point he said maybe we’ll do a mini IVF cycle plus defrost your three frozen and quoted us the cost. It was more than the full cycle so we went with the full. We figured we’d end up with more embryos and at least be able to transfer and hopefully freeze more. We ordered our meds and during monitoring I got a very uneasy feeling like they weren’t paying close enough attention. We did seem to ha e more eggs this time and they never gave an exact amount or the sizes. On my last monitoring appointment she wanted Abuzeid to come in but he had to rush to the hospital for another patient. She said I’d be retrieving that weekend but didn’t know if I’d be doing a fresh transfer because my lining was measuring way to thick. I asked how thick and she said 22mm. So I pretty much prepared myself to freeze all. They ended up retrieving a couple days later and they called us one time with how our embryos were doing. On day 5 we ended up with 5 embryos left out of 12 and he recommended transferring 3. We were shocked but ended up following his expert advise as we trusted him to make the best decision for us. On transfer day I brought up my lining and he looked at it and said it’s good it’s good. It seemed as though he couldn’t get a good enough measure but again we trusted him. So we transferred our best looking three. Over the next couple weeks we went in twice for blood work and had to increase meds. On beta day we got another negative. He once again called to apologize. The remains of our embryos arrested. We felt like Dr. Abuzeid having so many different offices and patients that we were more of a number now. Thousand if dollars later and transferring 5 embryos we had three left still frozen. I felt he could recommended an ERA test the 2nd time or retested my husbands semen. I feel like with how thick my uterus lining was that it wasn’t optimal for and embryo. He could’ve done more to ensure everything was primed and perfect but he didn’t. I don’t feel like he did it purposely but I do feel like with the price and going through the whole IVF process he could be a lot more personable with his patients. He never even offered PGS testing with my eggs being oval shaped. We truly put all of our trust in him and feel let down. After our last cycle, price increases, and feeling like a number we have now made another appointment elsewhere.

Do your research and advocate for yourself! Request him to do all monitoring and testing so he’s 100% aware of you and your case. Their equipment for monitoring could definitely be updated to.

Our protocol was basic, he pushed to do ICSI which resulted in embryos but part of me feels like the more natural approach would’ve resulted in more embryos in the end

They were on certain days and certain hours. Monitoring equipment seemed old and outdated

Our first round we got a discount of 55% and charged $4500 for a full cycle. Our second IVF cycle they said they’d give us a multi-cycle discount. They did of only 20% and they raised their prices so our cost was $8500 for a full cycle. Then they charge extra for monitoring and HCG testing and anesthesia costs of $300

He never pushed us to transfer one or multiple the first round, but was very keen on transferring three the 2nd time around.

He was very friendly. He made sure I understood what was going on and what the next steps would be. He didn’t hurry me and made me feel free to ask as many questions as I had. He never made me feel rushed. He was also very optimistic and connected with my husband and I. He didn’t make us feel hopeless.

I used 150iu of Menopur, I think 75 or 125 of Follistin for the first few days. Then they added Cetrotide to suppress ovulation. I used Novarel as my tigger before my retrieval. I was on estradiol and endometrium vaginally, and prometrium orally. The day they did the transfer I did one more shot of Novarel.i continued the estridol until around 6 or 7 weeks when I had my first ultrasound and the endometrin until I was 12 weeks pregnant.

My insurance covered services but I want to say it was around $11k- $12k outbof pocket, not including meds if I would have had to pay.

Dr. Abuzeid usually reccomends transferring two embryos but our insurance covered our IVF costs but o love you allowed us to transfer one embryo at a time.
