He is an obgyn not just a fertility doctor. He is very busy so you will often see his NP.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with John A. Swanson at John A. Swanson, MD?
I felt like a human. He is very warm and compassionate. He is very busy so our appointments were usually short or he was not there, his NP would be there.
Describe the protocols John A. Swanson used in your cycles at John A. Swanson, MD and their degree of success.
I did 3 cycles of femera to stimulate follicle production. He did ultrasounds prior to ovulation to see if healthy follicles were developing and he would advise on when my husband and I should start trying. He also encouraged me to track my cycles and what opks to use. When the femera did not work, he said the next step was IUI but we took a break then my health insurance changed to Kaiser and we had to switch doctors.

I did not have very many costs, but we also did not get far in our treatment. My insurance did not cover things that were strictly fertility. They covered more with this doctor, such as office visits I think because he is an obgyn and not strictly a fertility doctor.
