Our Dr. Was thorough with all of our options and very personable even gave us some tips to save money. I felt like he cared and answered all of my questions. I think I have found you have to ask a lot of questions because it comes so natural to them dealing with it every day

Ask a lot of questions to ensure you fully understand everything that is being explained to you.

We started with 50mg of Clomid and timed intercourse. It was our decision as to where we wanted to start and based on expense we chose this first. The 50mg of Clomid didn’t Produce any eggs so we moved right to 100mg and I have 2 follicles ready. We did timed intercourse with trigger shot. We were unsuccessful and when I went back in I had a 4cm cyst so I am Sitting this month out.

We are still early stage in infertility, so we haven't actually undergone any treatment. Dr. Moy was efficient in treatment and took time to explain things. I already wrote a general impression in response to another answer.

Dr Moy is only as good as the kaiser system.

Still early in treatment, but recommended 3 IUI and then an IVF and then reevaluate.

I have an info sheet somewhere, but don't remember offhand. Pricing is clear and information is easy to find.

My husband and I loved Dr. Moy. We were very sad when after I got pregnant, she had to transfer my care to a general OBGYN. She is knowledgeable, has great bedside manner, and is honest without being cold. She made me feel very comfortable and had a lot of energy. She is easy to relate to. I didn't feel like I had to make small talk with her; the conversations came easily and that was important because you want to be as relaxed as you can during such a stressful time.

Don't get discouraged and change doctors/facility if the first cycle isn't successful. Dr. Moy has a lot of experience and will work with results/information obtained from the first cycle to make changes to subsequent cycles.

He was a great communicator through the phone. I did not see him often inside the office. He let me decide what my next step could be and asked how I felt about it. He let me express myself and heard me when I had concerns

Ask many questions.

I did letrozole for 5 days and then tried clomid for 5 days. Two cycles were timed intercourse and the others were iui.

IuI were covered 50% but IVF is NOT covered at all and will cost $20,000 for my time. IUI with medications and follicle scan came to $500

He’s kind and can be a bit in a rush with you. Seems to treat each cycle as a new one not being informed by the last cycle to make adjustments. Very conservative on treatment options and not willing to think out of the box.

If you don’t need some creative out of the box thinking kind of treatment, then he’s fine.

1st cycle was 7.5 mg letrozole, IUI 2nd cycle was 10.5 mg letrozole, IUI 3rd cycle was 10.5 mg letrozole , IUI 4th cycle was 150 mg Clomid, IUI 5th cycle was 150 mg Clomid, IUI 6th cycle was 150iu Gonal F, 75 Menapour, IUI- Over stim- bust 7th cycle, EPP, 150 Gonal F 75 Menapour, IUI.

Direct and to the point, she gets the job done fairly efficiently. She was helpful in assisting us with our decision to do IVF instead of more IUIs. She was able to explain the evidence and also help us apply it to our situation.

No complaints.

IUI with letrozole. Better side effect profile than clomid. Lower risk of multiples compared to injectables.

Don't remember, but we had 50% insurance coverage and I think it came out to $200-$300 each IUI?

Dr. Moy kept a positive attitude, while also being very clear. I felt taken care of and like the process was in good hands, even though I wasn't in charge of every aspect of it.

She is excellent at returning emails, so don't be afraid to ask questions or follow up on a test you thought was scheduled. Once a test wasn't at the lab, and she saw my email and put in the order again before I was done at the pharmacy.

He is blunt and to the point. Lacks compassion but not on purpose. He is old school md practicing old medicine. He is raw and unfiltered. He is up front and no sugar coating. But sometimes truth hurt.

He is a little bit eclectic but helps keep things positive and light. I’m performing the IUI he was not the most gentle and my wife experienced a little more discomfort than with the other doctors. I would certainly trust him with further treatments.

He’s very good in what he does. Very polite and understanding. Up to the point he even consider my insurance issues. I have been seeing him so many times and was seen by his other colleague Dr.Tan and Dr.Telles. He had everything checked on me but nothing works. He knows and understand that IVF is something we cannot afford.

Be more aggressive interms of treatment especially in my case. Been his patient for almost 3 years now but nothing works for me.

My full blast first day I call the clinic for appt. Dr. will do ultrasound prescribe me clomid and injection and set me up for another day and time of appt. then IUI then blood works.

My insurance is under my employer. I pay copays but interms of medications I already max out the lifetime amount my insurance can pay for my meds specifically for Infertility clinic. But procedures and doctors fee I pay copays only.

No comment. I just did couple of IUI.

Well we paid a lot of money for 4 ivf with Dr Moy that were all unsuccessful. The reason why was not found by Dr Moy. Why? Lack of experience or lack of proper diagnostic... I only rely on facts and we tried a 5th Ivf with another doctor which was successful because that other doctor found after making examination that I suffered adenomyosis (which affects my uterus lining preventing embryo’s implantation). So I was treated for 3 months before starting a cycle of ivf and I became pregnant (my son is 1 year old now). So Dr Moy kept making ivf and billing us, and failed to diagnose the adenomyosis. We waisted 4 cycles of good embryos, 2 years of our time, lots of emotion (after the 4th failure she suggested I should use a surrogate) and a lot of money. We asked Kaiser to refund us , they denied our request, saying the doctor has no results obligation but she had obligation of performing her job no? How come another experienced doctor found it right away and she didn’t after 4 failed ivf transfers? Very unprofessional and unfair we didn’t get a refund, even partially as we spent $30k.

Try and see then don’t over try, change doctor.

The strategy was simple, I was young and had plenty of eggs, my husband was getting sperm retrieval, and we would do icsi and eggs retrieval then embryo transfer. I had some examination but clearly not made properly and not enough to diagnose the real issue which was adenomyosis. She kept transfering embryos which had no chance to implant since my lining was damaged by adenomyosis. A simple 3 month treatment would help and repair my lining for a transfer.

Dr. Sundaram took my case seriously - I had two prior failed egg retrievals. From our first appointment, it was clear that she had done her research and had an idea about what to adjust in my case. She was a calm and centered force who would clearly explain her rationale, but also was open to my thoughts and opinions.

Listen to her thoughts about your case, ask questions about her approach, and trust her! If something doesn't feel right, advocate for yourself. Dr. Sundaram is responsive and open to feedback.

She’s a no-nonsense kinda of doctor and gives you the facts as they are, which can be intimidating for some but I also appreciate the honesty and forwardness. She’s very responsive via email/Kaiser app.

Ask questions!

Using the mostly same protocol from a previous Kaiser doctor 2 years ago. She just upped the dosages. 200 Gonal F, and 150 Menopur for now. Still in process.

Dr. Huang was compassionate and a good communicator. With hindsight, we wish he would have moved the process faster at certain points. It's hard to say whether that was in his control or just reflective of the pace at Kaiser.

You should feel like you can trust him, but don't be afraid to follow up if the process is moving slower than you would like.

Dr. S. is very thorough and very knowledgeable. I appreciated the fact that she always took the time to go through each option and present the pros and the cons. In the beginning, we felt a little too much pressure to test the embryos from my retrieval, given that we had already expressed the desire not to. However, I understand that Dr. S was trying to set us up for the greatest chance of success. We had several points along the way where the direction was not clear. Dr. S. always took the time to patiently work with us so that we felt like not only did she support us, but we were part of the decision making process. Each decision felt like we made as a team. In the instances where the outcome was not as expected, Dr. S. showed care, empathy, and disappointment alongside us as we worked towards a future plan.

Be clear and upfront with Dr. S. about any questions or concerns you have and talk through them with her. She's very open and supportive, but it isn't always clear how much experience someone has in their fertility journey and what support they need. When I first met Dr. S., I went through exactly what I did NOT receive at the last clinic, and Dr. S. made sure that those areas of concerns were addressed.

We first did one fresh IVF cycle. On the day of transfer, only one of our two embryos was graded high enough to transfer and that did not yield a positive result. After that, we did a FET with embryos created at another clinic. There was a lot of back-and-forth about whether Kaiser would accept the embryos but one that was determined, we did a transfer and that resulted in a chemical pregnancy. We then stopped to re-evaluate and repeated a uterine ultrasound to confirm there were no polyps. From there we prepared for a 2nd FET with minimal changes to my medication and so far, that is progressing with a positive pregnancy.

I never had any issues or felt any microaggressions with Dr. S. She was very welcoming and inclusive, and showed a lot of care and empathy towards me and my wife. I always saw her as a huge advocate and ally and felt very comfortable with her given my family makeup.

There is a whole cost sheet provided before treatment. My IVF Fresh cycle was $16k and each FET was $4400 plus another $1100 processing fee for using embryos created elsewhere.

Kaiser has very strict protocols for what would qualify for multiple embryo transfer. We wanted to go this route but we did not qualify and ended up doing two single embryo transfers.

Worked out as well as it could given the process. It was fine.

Dr. Telles did not seem equipped or well prepared to advise me as her patient on the fertility process. She advised me on one occasion, to get hormone testing done so early in my cycle that when the results came back she was shocked at the high number, and almost made me skip a FET cycle. It wasn't until after she consulted with "the team" that she realized I tested too soon and had me retest which ultimately provided good results for me to move forward. If it wasn't for the other doctors on staff, I would have skipped another round of a FET cycle which could have been many months down the line. Dr. Telles, was always half an hour late to every appointment I had scheduled with her. The first cycle with her didn't even make it to an FET cycle because she informed me that after retrieval I had no viable embryos out of the 10 that were retrieved, she did not provide me with those results/documentation from the testing lab for my records. On the second failed FET cycle, she then went on to "explain" that maybe I have blocked tubes (even after my initial screening with her showed my tubes weren't blocked) and wanted me to undergo all kinds of unnecessary biopsies and surgeries on my uterus to see what can explain a second failed FET cycle. When I finally decided to go with another clinic after changing insurance and I informed her of this, she had no compassion towards me on my journey with her, she didn't wish me well or ask any questions. She scheduled me for so many additional appointments and lab tests that the costs became astronomical - I felt at this point, it was all about charging my insurance for as much as possible. As soon as I left to another outside (private) clinic, I did a natural FET cycle and got pregnant on the first attempt.

Show up to your appointments on time, don't treat patients like a number and have more compassion.

The first FET cycle was a frozen embryo transfer (freeze-all). Birth control before starting FET cycle was for two months. Medications included: Ganirelix, Ovidrel, Follistim, Progesterone suppositories and injections, Estradiol patches. When this cycle failed, she wanted to basically do the same cycle after doing a biopsy on my uterus and include Lupron to the list of medications.

Overall costs of total care for IVF resulted in $20,000+.

Dr. Telles was always familiar with my case prior to my appointments which made me feel followed closely. She responded promptly to my emails and was encouraging along the process despite having been given only 5-10% chance of conceiving. Having hope during an already stressful time gave me something to hold on to.

Be your own advocate with ANY doctor. Do you research and ask questions. Much of our success I attribute to my own research and subsequent action.

I’ve done two medicated cycles with IUI and insemination. First cycle failed with just 150 Menopur and triggger. Only got 1 mature egg. Second cycle I advocated HARD for myself to do an atypical protocol. We did 225 Menopur starting on CD2-9, Omnitrope 1/2 vial/day CD 3-9, Ganirelix CD 6-9, and Ovidrel trigger on CD9. IUI 36 hours after trigger. We had 4 mature eggs at trigger and 2 took. My doctor said we did “IVF without the IVF”. Currently 12weeks, 5 days with twins.

Copay first office visits and copay for meds. Typical IUI cycle with injectable probably would’ve cost 4K-5K/cycle if had to pay out of pocket.

I believe Kaiser IVF prefers eSET but since I only did IUI, I’m not sure.

I feel so blessed that I got assigned Dr. Telles through Kaiser. She is extremely intelligent and very thorough when explaining procedures, risks, her recommendations and reasoning, etc. She was always happy to take extra time to answer all of our questions. She connects with her patients on a personal level by asking questions and sharing her own stories. I always feel so much more at ease with this whole infertility journey after I leave Dr. Telles' office. I could not recommend her more.

Ask all the questions you have and she will most definitely answer them and explain them in ways that you can easily understand.

We started with a natural cycle IUI. After that we added clomid. Then upped the dose of Clomid. This next cycle we were going to do an IUI with a different oral medication + injectibles (I can't remember the names). After looking at mine and my husband's numbers and test results, Dr. Telles didn't see anything to explain why we have had a hard time conceiving. She wanted to minimize the amount of hormones she put me on due to the fact that they cause some pretty unpleasant side effects for me. We did an IVF consultation and were about to get the tests for IVF approval before COVID19 crisis happened.

All of my IUI and tests were covered 50% by my insurance. A general IUI cycle would cost us about 400$. I'm not sure how much our IVF consult was. IVF is not covered at all and we have been told it will cost us at least 30,000 when all is said and done.

We discussed this during our IVF consult and she said she would recommend following the guidelines in place given my age.

Dr. Telles showed compassion and empathy for what I was going through. She agreed that it’s not fair for anyone to have fertility issues and she was very gentle during every ultrasound. She always asked how I was doing first but wasted no time coming up with a treatment plan for my partner and I. When it came time to move on rob IFV she explained the process in an easy to digest way but also reassured me that I was strong enough to handle it.

Write down all your questions and ask them, because she will sit down and answer every single one.

Tracey Telles had me move on from using only injectables for IUI cycles to injectables and clomid for IUI cycles. Before this transition I developed too many follicles and the cycle was cancelled, she then had me move on to IVF.

Tracey Telles prefers women to transfer 1 embryo but is willing to listen to anyone who would like to try 2.

His communication was great. He worked with us on what was most cost effective for us. Some times it treatments and medication prices were overwhelming. He let us know I could get medications to get to my next appt then we could do an ultrasound to see how my body was doing. If we needed more meds we would go over it then and not to stress about it.

To go with him his has great bedside manners and is very easy to talk to about treatments

We started with low dose Femara because of my history of migraines. We went in for IUI 1 and my body responded fairly well to Femara. IUI 1 failed. Over the course of our next 4 IUIs we added injections. The last IUI was only injectables. All IUIs did fail. We asked for another opinion from a urologist on my husbands sperm count. We were denied by several kaiser doctors. We decided to look outside of kaiser for another doctor whom we will be seeing next month. I did not have any major side effects from medication. I was a little sick and my body was sore. But that was about it.

Our insurance only overs 50% of IUI and some medications. When we went to our consult. They kept pushing IVF even though we let them know that our insurance wouldn’t cover any of IVF. The doctor almost insisted that we did that without any further testing. I didn’t like that because we were still told IUI was still a good option for us.

I had a good experience with Dr. Tan. He performed my most recent IUI. I only had 1 follicle so I knew the chances were slim, but he still made me feel good about it. We discussed my potential IVF protocol as well. He also did my saline ultrasound and my mock transfer which all went well.

I would advise them that the only way you'll see him is if you're doing IVF or potentially doing IVF, as he pretty much only does IVF cycles. I would suggest they go in armed with questions.

In 2015 when I was receiving treatment I saw Dr. Tan on my follow up ultrasound after 5 days of 50 mg clomid. I didn't have any growing follicles so he suggested stair stepping me to 100 mg clomid and when I went back after that I had a ton of follicles. I was pleased he didn't give up and kept my cycle going, because that cycle was successful!

My infertility coverage is excellent for IUI's. I only pay a $10 deductible for IUI, ultrasound's, hsg, saline ultrasound, etc. and my meds are covered as well. However, if I move onto IVF everything is out of pocket.

He's for eSET. Kaiser does not agree with multiple embryo transfers.

Dr. Grosskinsky is a good doctor. He's getting close to retirement so I don't think he has the same passion and drive that he used to, but he's still aggressive and obviously wants the best for his patients. I do feel like I had to be my own advocate at times and wish he had been a little more thorough in my treatment.

Be your own advocate! Do your own research and suggest new things to try.

I have done IUI's with donor sperm. Dr. Grosskinsky did not think a natural cycle would be beneficial but I did one back in 2015 that didn't work. We then did clomid and I produced a lot of follicles and that cycle worked. I have a 2 1/2 year old daughter. We're trying for number 2 and I've done 6 failed IUI's. We've tried natural, clomid, combo cycle (clomid + injectables), and injectables. We've added in ganirelix to help with the timing, and all negative. Most of my IUI's have been 36 hours post trigger shot, so I'm thinking about trying a back-to-back IUI next to help with timing.

I have insurance through Kaiser where I only pay a $10 deductive for IUI's, ultrasound's, etc. Bloodwork is free. I only pay $25 for injectables, and $10 for trigger shot or oral drugs. My insurance is great until I move onto IVF, and then everything is out of pocket, including medications. IVF will be about 14k with only a fresh transfer, and another 4k for medications.

I have not done IVF yet but I know Kaiser is very against multiples.

Although Dr. Telles was very compassionate, she gave me false hope. With my initial consult, she suggested just doing an IUI and practically guaranteed that would work. A year and a couple months later and I’m still not pregnant. After asking a second doctor to look over my lab results, I found out I have a mild form of PCOS. I should have gone straight to IVF without wasting time, money, or heartbreak on IUI.

Get a second opinion if you’re not pregnant within three cycles.

She had me try both clinics and femara for different cycles with an ovidrel shot and IUI.

My insurance covered most of the meds and the appointments. It was a $30 copay for any visit for the ultrasounds and procedure for iui. Meds were about $200-300 a cycle.

He was very straight forward and honest about our issues and chances of IUI working. While at the same time truly caring about us as people. He really cared about us and never rushed us in and out or pushed anything or procedures on us. He listened and made a plans based on our needs. A great doctor.

That he is a good doctor. He is caring and he is honest. He is a funny person and likes to tell jokes to him ease the situation.

I only had IUI done by Dr. G and for the first treatment he had me on clomid and the second time he adjusted to Fermara because with clomid my uterual lining was a little thin.

Our insurance covered 50% of the IUI procedure. The ultra sounds out of pocket was around $100, the IUi itself I think was around $200 and the medication for each IUI was around $100 after insurance.

Dr. Tan was very upfront about the chances of our IUI procedures working and thoroughly explained why he suggested the different treatment options for my particular medical history and budget. When we decided to discuss IVF I appreciated that his recommendations were ethically based and focused on having one healthy child.

Come to visits prepared with questions and don't be afraid to speak up. Also, ask in your initial visit about any supplements that he may recommend for you.

I began using 100mg Clomid for our first cycle of IUI and after meager results we stepped it up to 150mg.

Our insurance did not cover any part of our treatment and per IUI cycle I believe we spent about $1000-$1200 depending on how many ultrasounds I had.
