This is the most recent data from the CDC. The CDC cautions that it should not be used to compare doctors and clinics. This data represents the outcomes of IVF cycles when using a person's own eggs.
For more information please see our FAQs.
Where you see a “?” on the chart, a clinic has done fewer than 20 cycles in this category and age range, so the CDC says showing percentages from this small data set would be misleading and unreliable.
Dr. Skaznik seemed knowledgable and professional in all our interactions together. However, she was quick to sell me on starting another cycle due to disappointing results, rather than explain why I could have gotten poor results in the first place or show compassion toward my situation. I told her that it was a huge cost financially and emotionally to me and I am not ready to start another one immediately, but she pushed it, saying that I might have unknown fertility problems without giving details on how or why.
I appreciate how Kindbody has really nailed down and modernized the patient experience. The office is warm, welcoming, and absolutely gorgeous, unlike any medical clinic I've ever been to. I always felt comfortable going in for my check ups and the staff were very kind and welcoming to me. I do think that glossy exterior conceals the fact that patients don't really get direct interaction with the doctor through the process. After my initial consultation, the next time I saw my doctor was right before my surgery.

What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Malgorzata (Gosia) Skaznik-Wikiel at Kindbody - Denver?
Try to get consultations at other clinics as well to find the right fit. Kindbody is extremely alluring with its nice office staff and beautiful space, but all the glossy millennial marketing doesn't matter if you don't get the medical care you deserve.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Malgorzata (Gosia) Skaznik-Wikiel at Kindbody - Denver?
Medical staff were kind to me prior and during treatment, but that ended as soon as my egg retrieval operation was over.
No one had the decency to call or message me about my results, so they were never effectively communicated to me. I had to dig through the web portal the day after to finally locate the total number of eggs frozen by myself. It may have something to do with the fact that my results were very different than what I was told was expected up to the minute before my surgery. Everyone was very excited that I was young (age 30) and had "responded well" to the medication and would likely get 13-15 eggs, of which I was almost guaranteed that 70-80% would be mature. I ended up getting 4 mature eggs, which I unceremoniously discovered by clicking through the web portal.
I understand that results are unpredictable, though, and give the doctors the benefit of the doubt here. What is REALLY disappointing is what happened after my operation. Not only was my egg count not communicated to me, but no one had as far as mentioned anything related to this condition called Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome, which I suffered from immensely throughout the following week. I had no idea what was going on when I suddenly gained 8lbs in 3 days, and felt so fatigued, I slept through most of it.
Before I left Kindbody after egg retrieval, nurses told me that I may experience some residual bloating, and that I would definitely be back to work the next day. The only red flag that I was to contact them about was if I had excessive bleeding, which I did not. Now that it's 9 days later, I still feel like my abdomen has inflated like a balloon, I have stretch marks all over, and it's uncomfortable to sit down. I've done copious research online, because doctors didn't in the slightest inform me that this could happen and why. When I reached out to follow up with the office, the only response I got was to go to an urgent care center if it started to cause trouble with breathing.

Went in for ultrasound and bloodwork on days 4, 7, 9, 10.
During the check ins, the maximum number of follicles seen was 18.
At my last check in, there were 15 follicles between 13mm - 23mm in size.
Result: 13 eggs retrieved, 4 eggs frozen.
Describe your experience with the nursing staff at Kindbody - Denver.
Nurses were very kind and friendly in person, but not the most organized. I really liked my ultrasound technician as she always gave me the most detailed and honest answers to my questions and all the context I asked for.
During my first blood draw, the needle slipped out and blood sprayed from my arm all over, but I didn't see that phlebotomist ever again.
I had to remember to ask the main nurse when I should reorder refills of medication, because they didn't keep track of when I would run out.

After my initial consultation, the next time I saw my doctor was right before my surgery. I didn't receive as much communication as I would have liked about how I was progressing, why I was given a certain protocol, and most of all, what I should expect after the operation. I don't think I know enough to hold the clinic responsible for my poor results (it could have been just me), but I think transparency and communication could definitely be improved.

Describe the specific things that went wrong at Kindbody - Denver.
I covered this in my answer to the first question.
[Dr. Natalia Grob] would refuse to treatment if I didn't lose weight and fast. I lost 20 pounds in just a few months but Dr.Grob never acknowledged the fact I was working on it...did not offer any changes to protocols from cycle to the next...I was pretty much shut down with short scripted "we offer it but I don't really think it's helpful" but would refuse to explain what that meant
[Kindbody - Denver] is pretty the nurses are great. They are normally running in time and appointments can be complete quickly...Nurse Kaelin and Izzy did their very best to make sure I understood what was going on...prefers to do single embryos transfers
How was your experience with Natalia Grob at Kindbody - Denver?
that she would refuse to treatment if I didn't lose weight and fast. I lost 20 pounds in just a few months but Dr.Grob never acknowledged the fact I was working on it. The only thing she saw was that I was still fat and I was still wanting to move forward. I spent months avoiding the person in the mirror because that fatty was why I couldn't be a mother. That fatty in the mirror didn't deserve to be a mother because shes not willing to postponing having a family because she's almost considered geriatric in pregnancy years in hopes to finally lose whatever magically number was in Dr. Grobs mind that she never shared.
So I guess what I'm saying is if your BMI shows as over weight or obese consider another Doctor. I promise you waiting that extra month or two for a different doctor at a different clinic is better than the months of mental abuse and fat shaming you will endure from Dr. Grob. Don't make the mistake I did and settle because the want for a family clouded the view of the red flags. Your mental health and overall feeling that your doctor cares is worth more the speed in which you can be seen. And honestly I'm just seeing that for myself now. I should have questioned why appointments with short turn around was available when everywhere else was a month out. It's all about the quality of service you will get.
And I also should probably explain that ultimately I didn't maintained a pregnancy from the IVF procedures I had. While it's never a guarantee your get a baby at the end I do find myself wondering if Dr. Grob would have spent half the time worrying about my weight and spent it further investigating the male factors if the outcome would have been different.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Natalia Grob at Kindbody - Denver?
Dr. Grob only cares about two things her image and her ratings. She treats people differently if they don't cause her instant success. She brags on her Instagram about being the best of the best and drops any clients that might discount that.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Natalia Grob at Kindbody - Denver?
Dr. Grob cares more about her success rates then the humans the cause that rate. If you will drop her rate she will drop you. Our last appointment with her she told us that 95% of people convince after 3 transfers she didn't know what was "wrong" with us.
Describe the protocols Natalia Grob used in your cycles at Kindbody - Denver and their degree of success.
Dr Grob did not offer any changes to protocols from cycle to the next. The only changes that were made where done so after my own research and questions. I don't need my hand held but I do need information. When our first transfer resulted in a miscarriage I went through "Dr. Google" and had to bring the options to her. And when I asked about them I was pretty much shut down with short scripted "we offer it but I don't really think it's helpful" but would refuse to explain what that meant.
Describe your experience with your nurse at Kindbody - Denver. (Assigned nurse: Kaelin)
The nursing staff at Kindbody was their only good quality. Nurse Kaelin and Izzy did their very best to make sure I understood what was going on when Dr. Grob refused to help. I had to drive 2 hours to get to the clinic every day of 2 weeks (thats 4 hours of driving for a 5 minute appointment). I eventually hit a point where this was causing issues with my work and the cost of gas was huge. When I started questioning if my body was responding if there was concerns Dr Grob would answer all she would say is we will see what it looks like tomorrow. Nurse Kaelin had to be the one to comfort me and explain what was going on and what to expect.
Describe your experience with Kindbody - Denver.
The clinic is pretty the nurses are great. They are normally running in time and appointments can be complete quickly. Theres on choice of Doctor and she's mentally abusive if Dr Grob wasn't there it would be perfect.
Describe your experience with your monitoring appointments at Kindbody - Denver.
Monitor appointments are only in the mornings you will come in empty your bladder get your blood drawn and get the ultrasound done. You won't see your nurse or Dr. Grob 9/10 of the time. You will be updated via your patient portal sometime in the evening normally via your patient portal
Describe Natalia Grob's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at Kindbody - Denver.
Dr. Grob prefers to do single embryos transfers with no conversations about it.
