Dr. A is so knowledgeable and really knows his research, which I appreciated because you need innovative and an outside the box thinker sometimes. He explained procedures in detail and gave thorough explanations and always directed me to the right people.

I was monitored at an out of town clinic.

I did a two banking cycle retrievals, a fertilization and FET with ICSI and embryoscope for $14,000

Dr Ahlering is very knowledgeable and caring. He always took time to explain every step of our treatment plan to us. Dr Ahlering was extremely supportive and understanding and did all that he could to help us through the rough times

If you're looking to have a counseling session or be babied, he's probably not going to do that. When you go see him, be ready to hear the truth. He's there to get the job done, not drag things out, and knows his stuff.

Dr. Ahlering was a wonderful doctor! We felt confident with him and even when things didn't go as planned the first round, he met with us and talked about the reasons why and a plan for the next round.

Make a list of all of your questions before you meet with him.

We did IVF with Follistim, Menopur, and Ganirellix.

We paid out of pocket and the IVF cost around $10,000 plus $3,000-$4,000 in medication.

He recommends testing one embryo if it is PGS tested, but will definitely let you do two if you want.

Dr Ahlering and the entire staff at MCRM are wonderful. My husband and I met with Dr. Ahlering to discuss are options and next steps and we both left the roughly hour long appointment feeling like we knew more about the IVF process than we did after completing an entire IVF cycle at a different fertility facility.

Be patient. MCRM is so good at what they do that sometimes it may take a while to get an appointment.

We are still in the planning stages of my treatment but Dr. Ahlering has already prescribed my husband Lertrozole and HCG to help increase his sperm count.

Dr aubuchon is very thorough and compassionate. She is very knowledgeable and explains things in a way that I can understand. She truly wants her patients to be a success. She has worked with my obgyn to make sure everything is addressed and taken care of

I am going thru ivf in June so I don't have much to offer yet. But we came up with this treatment plan due to my husband's male factor issues and my tubal blockage.

Very educated and thorough explaining medical procedures and options. We spent an hour with him the first visit. Although we have been unable to see him since starting treatment, we have had questions answered through our corrdinator which work out just fine.

Don't stress about everything before you get all your options heard and understood

So far my husband has had an in depth semin analysis, I had blood work and ultrasounds: we decided to do ovidril with the letrozole and after one month with that we have done IUI once

I don't remember the consultation fee but the ultrasounds are $200 and IUI is $300 I believe

Him and his staff are great to work with. They always answer all my questions I may. The seminar they put on was absolutely amazing. Very informative and helpful to my husband and I. It made me feel that I am not alone in this process and because of that I have felt better throughout this while process and I am also now doing acupuncture from what I learned to help with infertility.

Don't hesitate to ask any questions you may have.

I had a baseline ultrasound, a mid cycle ultrasound and then the IUI. I was on Letrozole, Gonal and Ovidrel.

Each ultrasound is $200 and the IUI is $500. Medicine is around $100

Dr. Aherling is very kind and understanding. He is very open to hearing how you would like treatment to proceed as well as having a recommendation. My experience as a patient has been easy. I am always able to get my questions answered in a timely way and feel as if I have access to ask those questions to him and his very knowledgeable staff.

Trust him. He is an expert in his field and I know that he would never steer anyone wrong. Also, ask questions! Treatments can be overwhelming and stressful so if you have a concern or a question, speak up!

Prices were comparable with other clinics

Dr Ahlering is very knowledgeable. He uses all the newest technology and is willing to go the extra mile to help you get a positive outcome. I was very impressed with him and wished I had found him first!!!

Trust him! He definitely knows what he is doing!

i don't remember the drugs and dosages we used. We did use Gonal-f. We retrieved 4 eggs (I only have one ovary), 3 fertilized normally and all 3 were transferred on day 3. We were pregnant with twins but one stopped growing at 8 weeks

We paid for our cycle, the embryoscope, embryo glue and nano beads also meds

She was very knowledgeable, but seemed like she was not interested in discussing any other options with me. When I questioned something, or tried to explain my concerns, I felt like my concerns were not understood or validated.

Be prepared to not have a lot of say in your plan.

I was going through the diagnostic phase for PCOS. I came to the clinic with a very clear idea that this was my problem, but wanted confirmation. I met for an initial consultation, and then scheduled for ultrasounds. I was then told that were would immediately be starting cycles for IUI, although I was initially wanting to try a less invasive, as this was our first time.

He was very open and gave us a cut and dry answer on things. I loved how he was so compassionate and it was like knew what we were going trough. He gave us things to look over and was very upfront with everything

Listen to him hes a wonderful doctor and knows what he's talking about.

She assured us that they were going to do everything in their power to help us grow our family. We are in the IVF process and are hopeful for a positive outcome. The staff have been great at communicating with us and that helps to calm the nerves.

Ask questions until you truly understand what's going on.

Insurance covered the diagnostic testing. We will pay out of pocket going forward.

Dr. Ahlering was amazing. Simply could not have asked for a better dr. He responded to my inquiry quickly and answered any and all questions I had. He was very compassionate and explained to us exactly what was going to happen.

Don't give up. He performs miracles.

He was great and I would recommend him on a personal level but can’t provide insight past a couple of visits. I didn’t move forward with ivf due to finances but I felt comfortable with him, and his knowledge. He was compassionate and thorough at every visit.

Ask questions.

When it all boils down, Peter is someone I would recommend to anyone having fertility issues because when explaining things to us it was easy to understand, he expressed sympathy when needed and I learned a lot about myself thanks to him. I would have loved to see him more than what we did, but we understood he has other patients. There was a time i had to be seen by Aubucha and she was so cold! She couldn't answer basic questions and not as gentle as Peter.

I would tell them to ask questions even if you think you understand and be honest because my husband held back initially which didn't help, but Peter made him comfy enough to disclose issues.

Its been a while, but the first thing he told me was I have a high ovarian reserve but have never been pregnant as well as my husband had little to no motility. My husband had to undergo a biopsy which resulted in 2 vials of usable sperm. Prior to egg retrieval they started me BCP for about a month then follistim, menopur and cetrotide. Weekly visits came with this to monitor growth of my follicles, but even with medical being increased my follicles never grew, so the cycle was terminated! This is when Peter diagnosed me with PCOS(I've never heard of this), but he explained ways to help combat this problem including metformine. I changed my eating and lifestyle completely so when we started a new cycle, I was prepared and the medication actually worked this timely! In addition to the above medication, I took my trigger shot of Lupron before retrieval and afterwards I ended up in the hospital for 5days due to OHSS...Once I recovered, we moved forward with the transfer and then acupuncture plus estrogen patches followed by progesterone in oil injection daily with endometrin inserts resulting in my very first pregnancy!

Luckily, my insurance covered some costs but my deposit was $2100 and medication and husband's surgery was approximately $5-6,000

ERA: I am very glad we did the ERA. At the time they were running a clinical trial so it was free except for the medication. My first ERA was done by Ahlering. He did 4 biopsies to get sample (see prior review) and we found out several weeks later did not get enough tissue. These were painful - having now had a baby via induction, I would rank the ERA as painful as the insertion of the balloon to dilate your cervix during an induction. My next ERA was covered by MCRM because of this error and was done by Dr Aubuchon. It was amazing - no more painful than a pelvic exam - so much so that I insisted on hugging her afterwards which was probably awkward because I wasn't wearing pants. Because of the ERA issue, the clinic did our FET off cycle. It was great, and resulted in a live birth.

Trust them - but don't be afraid to push back if needed.

Standard protocol - honestly probably could have personally used another day on stims. Of 7 eggs, 4 were mature, all fertilized, all 4 made it to day 3 and 2 to day 5. They are currently frozen. Prior retrieval was done elsewhere (13 eggs, 3 fertilized, 3 day 3, 1 day 5) and we moved the one day 5 embryo to MCRM as they had much higher success rates for FET. Resulted in live birth.

eSET - very happy with outcome. Asked to transfer lowest graded embryo and after hearing reasons Ahlering was very supportive.

dr. Ahlering was nice, spent a lot of time with us. He seemed fine, pushed IVF a bit as if it were the only option. I have had 4 miscarriages, and my husband asked him if there was a counselor we could speak with. His answer was no and that we just needed to keep going and push on through.

This clinic is the easy (but expensive) option. If you just can’t get pregnant without a reason why, and want a baby fast, you could go here. They weren’t looking into why I kept losing babies, just how to get me pregnant the fastest.

He answered all questions. Explained things in terms we understood and explained all treatment options in depth so we knew what to expect. He would call and email us to check how we where doing. He guided us but we never felt pressure or uncomfortable while in his care.

Ask all the questions nothing is stupid or dumb. Asked the same questions if needed.

Make sure to use all medications as ordered and if you have any questions ask. Never give away or share medicine. There was not any time that we could not have sex until after transfer was done and they explained everything and gave us handouts to ensure we understood

Total cost was close to 20 thousand with around 5 thousand of that being medication's. We had extra done with embryos being video

Well firstly, I am pregnant from the first cycle from the first transfer. I felt I received excellent care and was in very capable hands. I only wish I could have stayed on for the remainder of my pregnancy! God willing, we will be back next year for another transfer!

Advocate for yourself and be open minded. Understand that she has your best interest in mind and wants to get you your baby, as badly as you want it!

We used an agonist protocol. I am not sure the reason but I have PCOS.

I don’t recall as my insurance was billed and then sent to me. I think all in all, around $4k after insurance

He was able to find out our fertility issues by looking at our test results when other doctors couldn't. He was always pleasant and let us know about the science behind everything. He was always positive.

He is a talker haha. That is a good thing though because he wants his patients to know the science and explains everything so you can understand what is going on.

We did IVF. We did everything like a normal ivf cycle. It ended up in not gettimg pregnant even with a normal tested embryo. He did a followup call with us and suggested an ERA test and was hopeful for next cycle.

Around $20,000 with medication

From right out of the gate Dr Ahlering made me feel very comfortable. When I walked into his office I felt a sense of relief immediately. He was very through and professional every time I saw him. Never too busy to answer questions.

I only had 2 embryos and he allowed me to transfer both.

He was very honest and k owe his stuff. I appreciate his expertise and enjoy working with him. He always made me feel comfortable and optimistic. If I needed to reach him, he’d call me personally or set a time to do so. My husband trusts his judgement and candid responses.

Warm and caring. Always upfront about the treatment plans and what to expect in the coming visits. Excellent communication via phone and portal messages. Always answered questions and concerns. Compassionate.

Expect to be given a lot of information but know that questions are always answered during any part of treatment.

Overall she’s great! She’s very smart and had an idea of things that might make things more difficult for us. She was very honest if you asked her a question. Things that I would have like to see different was better explanation of things/expectations especially during the IVF stims. We would see her for our monitoring but she would never give us an idea if things were going as planned or if she had any concerns.

Ask more questions

Depends on the needs. There were 3 different packages. Because we used donor sperm we were able to use the cheapest package and pay “al a carte” for PGS testing. We also received $1000 discount for our jobs. The package that included a fresh or frozen transfer, ICSI, and embryo glue was $10500 (not including meds) + PGS. Each additional transfer was $3800 (not including meds).

I was ONLY interested in transferring 1 embryo at a time so there was really no discussion about it.

Very smart doctor. Excellent bedside manor. Spent over 1.5 hours explaining our failed transfer and developing a plan for IVf round 2. He is open to patient/doctor dialogue. One bit of advice I would recommend is to better educate on embryo grading and changes seen on the embryoscope.

Come with your questions. He will try and answer them all to alleviate any concern you may have.
