Dr. Essig was also my obgyn. He’s helped me through a lot of health concerns and has always been easy to talk to. He seemed concerned about how my decisions would effect my emotional health and has provided helpful information regarding pros and cons.

Dr essig doesn’t want to guess, so he will test you to get a complete picture. He’s a straight shooter if you want his feedback, and I recommend asking all the questions. He’s not rushing you out.

Costing is very fair, and dr essig has made recommendations that better match my budget. I pay for copay, and whatever my insurance doesn’t cover for testing. I’ve done genetic counseling and therapy separately.

Nothing went terribly wrong. I called to set up an appointment and there was something wrong with the computer. I was told to call back the following week, resulting in missing one cycle. I wasn’t fully aware of timing of next steps and so I didn’t press harder to set that appointment. I wish it had been smoother
