This is the most recent data from the CDC. The CDC cautions that it should not be used to compare doctors and clinics. This data represents the outcomes of IVF cycles when using a person's own eggs.
For more information please see our FAQs.
Where you see a “?” on the chart, a clinic has done fewer than 20 cycles in this category and age range, so the CDC says showing percentages from this small data set would be misleading and unreliable.
Amazing experience. I'm so glad he [Dr. Tortorelis] was our doctor (husbands doctor)... No one has ever been as hopeful as he has been with us after finding out about my husbands azoospermia. Also, on our first time seeing him, he was telling us that my husbands diagnosis shouldn't have been based off of one test so he scheduled a 2nd one...Every time we went to see DR. Tortorelis, he would always say "Dont worry guys. We will help you have your family"
[Urology Associates] Strengths, the amazing staff and very professional doctors. Very communicative. Weaknesses, location is far out and a little confusing to get to. Calling is sometimes a hassle, will have to wait 15+ minutes...Always took the time to call us back really quick and would always leave a voicemail. Never once did she sound annoyed with our questions always communicated with us

Every time we went to see DR. Tortorelis, he would always say "Dont worry guys. We will help you have your family" And honestly, No one has ever been as hopeful as he has been with us after finding out about my husbands azoospermia. Also, on our first time seeing him, he was telling us that my husbands diagnosis shouldn't have been based off of one test so he scheduled a 2nd one. Lastly, for my Husbands Testicular Biopsy, he referred us to his colleague which that doctor didnt have a available appointment until 4 months after and we were highly upset. So Dr. Tortorelis told us not to worry and he would speak to him to squeeze us in and we got scheduled to see the referred doctor the next week!

Describe the specific things that went wrong at Minnesota Urology/Urology Associates (closed).
One time there was a confusion about an appointment we had. One nurse, who was not our nurse, said it was going to be at another location which was closer to our home but I could've sworn the location was still at the regular one. I finally was able to speak to our nurse the day before the appointment and she did clear it up that it was our regular location. We needed to know that because the drive there is 45 minutes and that was a big deal
