Attention to Detail

Attention to detail is on a 1 - 10 scale, and is scored based on the rate, and severity, of errors committed by the clinic according to the patients.

For example, a severe error might be failing to inform a patient of critical information, while a small error might be failing to call a patient with results.

CDC Success Rates

This is the most recent data from the CDC. The CDC cautions that it should not be used to compare doctors and clinics. This data represents the outcomes of IVF cycles when using a person's own eggs.

For more information please see our FAQs.

Where you see a “?” on the chart, a clinic has done fewer than 20 cycles in this category and age range, so the CDC says showing percentages from this small data set would be misleading and unreliable.

Dr. Eblen is a warm and personable doctor. She took the time to explain my abnormal anatomy and was open to helping me get pregnant. She was limited in the knowledge of my abnormality which is expected since it’s rare. She did a fantastic job in removing my polyps. However, she failed to warn me about a medicine side effect before my surgery. I feel like she could have done more research in order to help me since my situation was unique.
Long waiting times [at Nashville Fert Ctr]. The nurses and NPs were not warm nor helpful with resources. Phone calls with nurses did not explained the medicine purpose....The front staff were not welcoming nor warm. It was a challenge to connect with the friendly surgery coordinator, since she was so busy. One of the backup ultrasound techs commented on my disability which was inappropriate...The nursing staff were always busy and not always engaging....

Long waiting times. The nurses and NPs were not warm nor helpful with resources. Phone calls with nurses did not explained the medicine purpose.
Describe the protocols Abby Eblen used in your cycles at Nashville Fertility Center (US Fertility Network clinic) and their degree of success.
I did the all the tests such as genetic test, blood test for hormones and thyroid, hysterosalpingogram, sonohysterography, ultrasounds, and MRI. I learned i have MTHFR mutation. They also found polyps which were removed. The first two cycles, I took Clomid and did timed intercourse. The 4 IUIs - took clomid and then femera on days 5-7, then trigger shot if follicle and lining were the right measurements, and next day was intrauterine insemination.
Describe your experience with your nurse at Nashville Fertility Center (US Fertility Network clinic). (Assigned nurse: Kelly)
The nursing staff were always busy and not always engaging. They tried to be gentle during test and procedures. They tended to forget about preparing the assigned nurse due to my unique anatomy which led to prolonged and sometimes painful procedures. I had to start reminding them to warn the nurses ahead of time.
Describe your experience with Nashville Fertility Center (US Fertility Network clinic).
The front staff were not welcoming nor warm. It was a challenge to connect with the friendly surgery coordinator, since she was so busy. One of the backup ultrasound techs commented on my disability which was inappropriate. I did love Dr. Eblen and her willingness to take my case.
Describe the costs associated with your care under Abby Eblen at Nashville Fertility Center (US Fertility Network clinic).
My insurance covered the tests, most of the medicines, and 50% of the fertility treatments after I met my deductible. The IUIs were several hundreds dollars and husband sperm wash was not covered so it was around $400.
What specific things went wrong at Nashville Fertility Center (US Fertility Network clinic)?
  • Failed to convey critical information
  • Failed to consider drug intolerance
Describe the specific things that went wrong at Nashville Fertility Center (US Fertility Network clinic).
At my hysterosalpingogram, they did not fully informed the staff of my uterine abnormality which he called Dr. Eblen since he didn’t believe me. This delayed the test and he was not prepared. Dr. Eblen did not inform me of the potential bleeding from taking misoprostol for a surgery.

Dr. Montville took the time to explain the process of egg freezing for fertility preservation to me. He is very knowledgeable and kind. Unfortunately, I had poor response to stimulation meds and was unable to move forward with egg retrieval with Dr. Montville. When he realized the cycle was not going to work out, he personally called me on the phone to explain the details and walked me through the options. He spent at least 20 minutes on the phone with me that day
The MD that I saw, the staff, and nurses were great. However, I have little faith in the technology, lab, and protocols utilized at this clinic [Nashville Fertility Center] I believe their intentions are good, but they lack the experience and technology that some high-volume centers have.... I was on a protocol that used OCPs for priming/suppression and then Lupron. I stimulated with Menopur and Bravelle. After day 7 of stims, I had 0 follicles greater than 10mm. Dr. Montville determined that because I had been on OCPs for so long, I was over suppressed. He wanted me to stay off OCPs for a few months and try again. I did that, but sought out a second opinion in a different state.
How was your experience with Christopher Montville at Nashville Fertility Center (US Fertility Network clinic)?
Dr. Montville is a wonderful human being, but I have no faith in Nashville Fertility Clinic at all. Once I had received a second opinion, that MD believed I was on the wrong protocol, medication type, and dosage while at Nashville Fertility. I spent several thousand dollars on medications, only to have a cancelled cycle.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Christopher Montville at Nashville Fertility Center (US Fertility Network clinic)?
Do your research on clinic data and success rates. Often times, the lab and protocols are much more important than the skill of the physician.

The doctor [Dr Weitzman] did listen to our concerns, but as previously mentioned, there never seemed to be any kind of connection. He did order certain types of blood tests, but they don't seem to bother with some testing that should be important. We only met with him one time and while he answered questions, it also seemed like he was rushing us to make a decision to go straight to IVF or do IUI.
The clinic is organized and they usually do well with getting you in around your appointment time. The nurses/nurse practitioners that handled the IUIs were nice and helped you feel at ease. There should be better communication about the treatments and what to expect. You do become a pro after the first time but that is because you figure it out.
How was your experience with Glenn Weitzman at Nashville Fertility Center (US Fertility Network clinic)?
The doctor did listen to our concerns, but as previously mentioned, there never seemed to be any kind of connection. He did order certain types of blood tests, but they don't seem to bother with some testing that should be important. We only met with him one time and while he answered questions, it also seemed like he was rushing us to make a decision to go straight to IVF or do IUI. Definitely felt like they were in it for the money instead of feeling like there was some type of compassion there. We also had to speak to nurses all the time and all communication was through the nurse, which is probably common, but quite frustrating when the whole process is confusing.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Glenn Weitzman at Nashville Fertility Center (US Fertility Network clinic)?
Be prepared with questions that you want to know and do not be afraid to ask for testing you want done. Don't expect a touchy feely relationship. If he won't do it, find another doctor. Unfortunately, there aren't many places in Nashville to go to.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Glenn Weitzman at Nashville Fertility Center (US Fertility Network clinic)?
I felt like a number because they do have to have a process and order to everything so there are no mixups. While I understand this, I felt like they shuffled you through all the stops during the appointment with no real interaction. The doctor seemed to have no emotion while speaking with us and most of the time we had to ask 20 questions about things when they should have been explained.
Describe the protocols Glenn Weitzman used in your cycles at Nashville Fertility Center (US Fertility Network clinic) and their degree of success.
I wasn't truly diagnosed with anything, although I had mild endometriosis, which I knew from my gynecologist. He basically said I was old at 38. I had three IUIs with Femara to stimulate more follicles. I never had a problem ovulating, but they wanted more eggs to be there. On Day 12 I had an ultrasound to see how many follicles I had, which were all measured and then I was given an Ovidrel trigger shot. I never felt that the shot worked for me as I ovulated later than the 12-24 hours they claimed and I knew this because I was taking my BBT temperatures. Nothing was ever changed in my protocol. The next day I would have my IUI and then I was to call the office after waiting two weeks to say whether it was positive or negative.
Describe your experience with the nursing staff at Nashville Fertility Center (US Fertility Network clinic).
I never knew their names and they had about 3 or 4 nurses that I would deal with. They usually were nice. There was one nurse that seemed new and she seemed rude with her comments. I would receive phone calls within the hour after I left a message, which didn't bother me.

Describe the costs associated with your care under Glenn Weitzman at Nashville Fertility Center (US Fertility Network clinic).
Drugs were paid for separately and for Femara and Ovidrel it was $185 for that out of pocket. I had no fertility insurance coverage. With just the ultrasound and IUI, it was around $800. The doctor's visit was around $485. To get a saline ultrasound of the uterus, it would have been around $700 out of pocket.

Dr Whitworth was alwaya very straight forward, which I appreciated, but she always took a vested interest in our situation. I was never just another patient. She took the time to get to know my husband and I, and our circumstances....We started with Dr Whitworth and after initial testing (resulting in unexplained fertility) she determined we could do IUI. So we started with 3 cycles of that. I was using ovulation tests but that was it. No success after 3 cycles so we moved onto IVF.
The staff is great, and the location is ideal. They take great care with your privacy which is important. Everyone is very welcoming, and will become part of your family....Jordan and the entire nursing staff was very caring. The approach they took made a very overwhelming situation easy to handle. They reviewed the whole cycle at the start, but once we began, each step was laid out VERY clearly with specific instructions. And we only had to think about the next step, which made it much more manageable.
How was your experience with Christine Whitworth at Nashville Fertility Center (US Fertility Network clinic)?
Dr Whitworth came highly recommended so I was excited when I was able to become her patient. After our first appointment I was able to see why. She is a great listener, and communicator. She lays out all of the risks and rewards, and takes the time to discuss and review them together to come up with a plan. Her compassion for her patients ia evident in how hard she works to help them succeed.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Christine Whitworth at Nashville Fertility Center (US Fertility Network clinic)?
Be honest with her about any and all circumstances and concerns - she will listen.

Dr Whitworth was alwaya very straight forward, which I appreciated, but she always took a vested interest in our situation. I was never just another patient. She took the time to get to know my husband and I, and our circumstances. During our cycle, we had a unique situation come up, and she took it personally as hard as we did.
Describe the protocols Christine Whitworth used in your cycles at Nashville Fertility Center (US Fertility Network clinic) and their degree of success.
We started with Dr Whitworth and after initial testing (resulting in unexplained fertility) she determined we could do IUI. So we started with 3 cycles of that. I was using ovulation tests but that was it. No success after 3 cycles so we moved onto IVF. We used birth control to control when my cycle would start and lupron to suppress ovulation. To stimulate production, I used an FSH. Because of my body’s hormone levels, we knew I was at risk for OHS, so my hormone levels were constantly watched and my medication adjusted as needed. When it came time for retrieval, my hormone levels were VERY high, but that was the only way to get me to produce enough eggs. After retrieval, and as we waited to see how many embryos would form, I did develop OHS. After testing, we ended up with 4 healthy embryos, and decided with Dr Whitworth to freeze them in order to help my body recover, instead of doing a fresh transfer. After about a month, we resumed the transfer cycle. Due to my age and other circumstances, Dr Whitworth recommended we transfer 2 instead of 1. We agreed it gave us the best chance at a baby. We also started Progesterone in Oil shots at this point (or slightly earlier). After our two week wait, we got a positive pregnancy test! BUT before we could have our ultrasound, I had some spotting. Because of previous issues I had before coming to Nashville Fertility, Dr Whitworth brought me in for an early ultrasound. It was then that we discovered that one of the embryos had implanted in my fallopian tube, while the other was in my uterus. Resulting in a heterotopic pregnancy. Amazingly, Dr Whitworth was able to preform surgery to remove the ectopic pregnancy and my tube, while leaving the other embryo in my uterus in tact. We continued the Progesterone shots until 12 weeks. At 8 weeks I was transferred to my regular OB. I went into labor on my due date and delivered my precious baby boy!

Describe the costs associated with your care under Christine Whitworth at Nashville Fertility Center (US Fertility Network clinic).
We were VERY lucky in that my husband insurance covered up to $15,000 of the procedure costs. All in, the cost of our cycle was a little over $20,000 plus some more for medications. We paid approx $5,000 - $7,500 ourselves.

She [Dr Abby Eblen] removed a uterine polyp and said that it was the reason we were not getting pregnant. She then ordered 2 IUIs that were unsuccessful with Clomid. She did not additional testing after the first failed iui....Dr. Eblen is very straight forward. Strengths [of Nashville Fertility Center]: Multiple Drs, so easier to get an appointment, after hours attention, act quickly Weaknesses : LBGT unfriendly, I had friends who were treated poorly, don't always run all the necessary tests to find the real reason. assembly line.

I switched clinics after a same sex couple was treated rudely by the Nashville Fertility Staff. At my second opinion dr, i was given a totally different diagnosis that the NFC and Dr. Eblen did not even test for. I wasted $3000 on medication and treatment with NFC that would never work.

Dr. Eblen was always very personable and upfront about next steps. It was always a delight to meet with her - even when my unexplained secondary fertility issues drug on....Dr. Eblen was always fantastic - she was very knowledgeable, personable and I looked forward to meeting with her during the long journey to have my second child. She was always willing to work at the pace that I was ready for and I felt safe in her care....Ask lots of questions - there are things doctors just don't think of that are super helpful from a patient perspective.
Over a span of 5 years and 15 cycles, I spent a lot of time going to and from this office [Nashville Fertility Center]. You will have to ask the questions and be an informed patient. Also, while I think this office does truly care about patient success and building families, you have to cut through the doctor speak sometimes....The biggest complaint I had was the constant turnover of nursing staff as well as different staff being responsible for different days. So Tuesday you might talk to one nurse and then on Thursday you'd have to explain all over again to that day's nurse. Would be MUCH MORE conducive to patient relations and overall success rates, to have a consistent nurse to talk with each cycle.

I started with Clomid cycles and was able to conceive my daughter on the 1st IUI. I repeated the Clomid cycles 2-3 years later without success, did several rounds of injectible stimulation drugs + IUIs with no success. Finally, I did one IVF cycle - however at a different clinic out of state because the cost was much less.

Abby Eblen is a detailed doctor that is attentive to my needs, she was confident in her diagnoses...showed empathy when it was necessary...very respectful and thoughtful. She did elaborate on my diagnoses and my option...explained everything I need to know...used birth control to regulate my cycle and suppress any remaining fibroid, she recommend IVF because I had a blocked tube, and PCOS.
The clinic [Nashville Fertility Center] strength was they were good at sending me the things I need and informing of the next step so, the doctor and insurance have what they needed at all times. The weakness, they weren't positive enough...I felt like, I was being judged because of my age and my husband had a vasectomy...Abby Eblen is a detailed doctor that is attentive to my needs, she was confident in her diagnoses.

The nurse staff was nice but at times. I felt like, I was being judged because of my age and my husband had a vasectomy. It has made it a little difficult but one time i asked one the nurses does people get pregnant pass 40 years of age and she said yes, all the time but it would've been nice if, she would've told me own her own. It would've made me feel comfortable.

My husband and I are still currently in treatment with [Dr. Christine Whitworth]. We have male factor infertility and she has explained everything throughly. She keeps looking into what could be causing it and has given us multiple options before IVF which I appreciate...My husband has a severely low sperm count. When we first started he had 17 sperm in his analysis. She immediately started him on several vitamins. He then started 3 months of Clomid. That did not up his count to a usable amount. So now he is on HCG shots hoping to raise it.
It has always been easy to make appointments [at Nashville Fertility Center], get in touch with someone, and get questions answered. I don’t have any weaknesses at this point. It can all be very overwhelming in the beginning and the nurses and doctors explain everything very well and go through all of your options. I also like that there are 2 different campuses that you can visit...

I only see Dr. Eblen when a trial has failed. I can’t put the blame solely on her. The clinic is overrun with patients. Unfortunately this means that the care I’ve received makes me feel more like a number...I appreciate that Dr. Eblen likes to give methods a good try, 3 times each. She’s adjusted dosages and medications to try something different. I know her goal Is for us to get pregnant but for one reason or another, things haven’t worked out for us just yet.

I haven’t experienced all this clinic has to give, but what I do know is that their goal is to get you pregnant, and they’ll do whatever they can to try and make that happen. He [Dr. Glenn Weitzman] is very professional and very smart. He has a lot of successful transfers and he is very particular about each detail and I appreciate that. The office itself had a few issues with following through on some things which was frustrating, but that does not reflect Dr. Weitzman.... He was very adamant about ONLY using one embryo with our surrogate. I valued his respect for the surrogate.
Cross communication would be helpful [at Nashville Fertility Center]. Sometimes you are unable to see your nurse so there needs to be a patient review if your IVF nurse is out. The details they give while you meet with them are great. They are fast for each visit.... Just the following up after an appointment with results once or twice left us confused. I do wish they had also called my surrogate after she submitted her application. They did not follow up.

Dr. Montville carefully walked through each step of the process with us. He has a very good bedside manner. During consultations he took the time to answer all questions carefully. I never felt rushed during our visits. He developed treatment plans based on my specific needs and concerns and was open to discussing different courses of treatment if our options changed...Unmedicated IUI- baseline ultrasound on day 3, ultrasound on day 14, and IUI completed on day 16. Trigger shot was used after third ultrasound.
The nursing staff [at Nashville Fertility Center] was compassionate and took the time to answer all of our questions completely. During procedures the nurses took care to make me as comfortable as possible. They helped to settle my nerves during all procedures...$1400 for IUI. $100 for medication...The clinic was very efficient. There was occasionally a wait, especially to make new patient appointments. Appointments such as blood draws and ultrasounds went quickly with little downtime. Parking was very easy with a lot on site.

I only saw Dr. Weitzman twice, first for consultation and second after the transfer was successful. I felt rushed during those appointments and some details were glazed over with Dr. Weitzman, so I am very thankful I had his nurse, Andie, to advise and guide us during the entire process....We had planned to transfer one embryo, but the thawed embryo was not expanding and likely not viable, so they thawed another and transferred both.
The clinic [Nashville Fertility Center] seemed very organized and wait times were very reasonable. The front desk staff, receptionist, and billing were all very friendly and kind and seemed to sincerely care about what you're going through. Ultrasounds usually felt rushed, and I would have appreciated more time scanning and more explanation from the ultrasound tech....$31,000 for two medicated egg retrievals, each with ICSI and PGS testing, and one frozen embryo transfer.

He [Dr. George Hill] added another medication after i inquired why other patients were using it. I was 31 at the time and my 3rd cycle and that made all the difference. Got us the most eggs and high quality embryos because he was flexible even tho the other cycles had been successful.... He was very straightforward but kind. Was malleable to not do a 3rd IUI even tho that broke protocol and go straight to IVF. Really understood the time sensitivity and keeps his clinic running like clockwork.
Everyone [at Nashville Fertility Center] is a professional and knows their job and does it so well. Patty, the us tech is amazing. The clinic generally runs on schedule with very little wait time. I just wish the branding and decor was more up to date and there was a way through an app to communicate test results, medicines, etc.... They use NPs extensively and I developed close relationships with both.

Dr. Whitworth was upfront with me about my poor chance of success with IUI. So she offered another alternative, donor embryo, which was only a $1k more and has a much greater chance of success. She diagnosed me with a damaged tube and surgically removed it because it could reduce the success of the embryo transfer. After surgery she personally called me to check on me.
They [Nashville Fertility Center] require fertility counseling by a specific counselor and her charges are a racket. As far as costs for surgeries, procedures, etc they are very upfront. All the staff but one have been extremely courteous. Once you’re a patient, it’s fairly easy to get an appointment. The nurses always call you back the same day.... They were always very kind and went out of their way to help me.

She [Dr. Abby Eblen] was able to answer some of our questions and did not try to push for another cycle after 7 failed cycles...I wish that I was able to speak with her more than just the nurses when it came to my treatment plans...I also wish that the procedures were more closely monitored carefully because I was an outlier who happened to suffer from a mild case of OHSS with low doses of follistim aq.
I’ve noticed my particular nurse [at Nashville Fertility Center] gets irritable with me easily and I wasn’t a big fan of that. However, she is definitely knowledgeable...The strengths I see in the clinic is changing the previous employees in the front desk because before they were very rude and had no smiles on their face...certain nurses go above and beyond to make you feel more comfortable in the environment especially with what most couples are experiencing in this hard time of conceiving.
How was your experience with Abby Eblen at Nashville Fertility Center (US Fertility Network clinic)?
I wish that I was able to speak with her more than just the nurses when it came to my treatment plans. However, I also wish that the procedures were more closely monitored carefully because I was an outlier who happened to suffer from a mild case of OHSS with low doses of follistim aq. This really frustrates me because it seems as I was then treated as a number than a paying patient, which really ticked my husband and I off completely.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Abby Eblen at Nashville Fertility Center (US Fertility Network clinic)?
Be prepared to ask many questions before ending a consult with her or you will be highly upset because you will not be seeing much of her but rather her nurse.

Due to my age and diagnosis, I was given the antagonist protocol. However, everyone is different and will be given different protocols.
Describe your experience with the nursing staff at Nashville Fertility Center (US Fertility Network clinic).
I’ve noticed my particular nurse gets irritable with me easily and I wasn’t a big fan of that. However, she is definitely knowledgeable and hope that she will be more professional this time when I am going for my next cycle.

Dr. Hill was wonderful. Patient and explained every thing in a detailed way. He tells you the truth and gives you hope but not false hope.... He's the best. Calms you down, helps you along every step of the way. Changes treatment as needed to help you. He's just been perfect. He is always available to ask questions and can be very comforting during this process.... Lupron daily, gonal f, midur, progesterone oil, ovidel. Was on Lupron for 3 months before protocol started.
The clinic [Nashville Fertility Center] was perfect. Big enough for many patients, yet you didn't feel alone. The dim lights made you feel relaxed every time you walked in. Not one weakness I could talk about because it was all perfect.... Labs were a different fee because they used a company outside of their office. With insurance the fee for lab was 8,000 and the fee for anesthesia was 3,000 and the actual fee for them was 2,000

I was her [Dr. Abby Eblen] patient for over a year and I never really even saw her. We only spoke once, and she seemed very rushed...She seemed rushed, and she didn't act like the questions I had researched to ask her were important or interesting. She also never performed my IUIs...I did 4 IUIs. She suggested I do three and then start IVF, but I just wanted to make sure. None of them resulted in pregnancy.
The clinic's [Nashville Fertility Center] strength is that it is conveniently located in Nashville, where I live, and has a beautiful view from the waiting room. Its weaknesses are the rather creepy nursing staff, inattentive doctors, and lack of financial options that other Tennessee fertility clinics provide (such as pregnancy-or-your-money-back IVF).

Make the drive to Chattanooga and see Dr. Rink Murray instead. If that's not an option, then do your own homework because she will not explain or elaborate anything.

Three different nurses performed my IUIs, and one of those times took so long the nurse made me hold the catheter of my husband's sperm against my chest to "keep it warm." The fourth IUI was performed by a different doctor, a male. None of the IUIs worked. The nurses routinely did things like toss syringes across tables and seemed to have trouble making eye contact or small talk. It was all pretty weird.

Dr. Van Heertum was always very thorough and explained procedures and risks. She was optimistic but also realistic with us. She performed my laparoscopy surgery and diagnosed me with stage 1 endo. She was very straight forward with next steps and provided a thorough IVF plan...Will only transfer multiple embryos if you choose to not genetically test..
[the Nashville Fertility] Nurses were great but sometimes you get a different nurse and have to refresh them on your protocol...$15K per egg retrieval not including medications...The strengths of the clinic is the scheduling is easy and the staff are nice. The office is clean and runs very smoothly even on busy days. The weaknesses would include limited financial options and bloodwork labs are often backed up. I would also like to see the doctor a bit more during the cycle.

Dr. Whitworth has a pretty good bedside manner, so I felt less like a number to her...could be compassionate and understanding, but she constantly contradicted herself on why things weren't working for us. When I would "call her out on it" she would just kind of stammer and mumble. After each failure (IUI or IVF) she would want to run more tests. It was incredibly frustrating because we were 100% out of pocket, and I felt like the testing should have been done on the front end.
I ended up paying for an IUI because I hadn't been told to be monitored [at Nashville Fertility Center]. I was only told to do OPKs and call when positive, which was too late...Pros - the nursing staff and ultra sound techs are amazing. I had a few meetings/dealings with Dr. Abby Eblem who I would refer people to. Cons - communication breakdowns between drs/nurses/staff that can be frustrating...1. 2 weeks bcp, 150 Follistim morning and evening - added Ganirelix - 2 fertilized eggs 2. Lupron, Follistim, Menopur - 3 fertilized eggs

Dr. Van Heertum is a fantastic doctor. She is caring, empathetic and compassionate. We always had discussions about our next steps, which was so important for us. When we were ready to move on from IUI, she had our next steps all ready for us. She is willing to adjust plans when things don't go as anticipated...We transferred one embryo based upon SART guidelines which takes into account my age and our embryos were PGS tested.
The [Nashville Fertility Center] clinic is busy, but everyone was nice. I have a crazy work schedule and they were always able to accommodate me. I never had to wait long in the waiting room and they were very efficient. It is also nice to have the lab and surgery center all right there. I had my egg retrievals done by two other doctors and they were very nice and took great care of us...We paid out of pocket and each IVF cycle is about 13,000 dollars. The transfer process is around 3,000.

She [Dr. Christine Whitworth] is extremely knowledgeable and been practicing for many years. She gave us the major details we needed to know when looking at our options. After our first egg retrieval failed and we lost all of our embryos, she had a private consult with my husband and I to discuss what our next steps would be. Our 2nd retrieval produced 3 perfectly healthy embryos we are now waiting to do a frozen embryo transfer with.
There were significant costs to do IVF [at Nashville Fertility Center]. We paid a huge chunk of money up front but still continued to receive bills which has been really confusing. Our insurance says there are issues with the dr’s office billing...The staff has been really nice and helpful for the most part...We first tried timed intercourse, and then moved to Clomid/Letrozole and IUI, then to injectables and IUI then to IVF.

Dr. Whitworth is a very smart and compassionate doctor. After a big set back, she has completely given me a personalized treatment for my next cycle. The majority of the time, I didn’t get to see her, unless I made an appointment with her or I happened to come in to clinic the day she was working.... [Eset Approach] Single embryo transfer is backed up by research
Strength: schedule flexibility, usually short wait, straight to the point Weakness: clinic [Nashville Fertility Center] is too big, too many patients per nurse. Multiple entities. Success w/ Doc Too early to know
Dr. Weitzman has been a great doctor throughout this process. He is very blunt, which took some time to get used to. However, I really appreciate his approach. He doesn’t sugarcoat anything, but gives you all the facts and why he comes to his final decision.... Based on endometriosis and DOR I will be on a micro dose of injectionable medications.... He isn’t forthcoming in all the details that you might care about, so come with questions if you want them answered.
You can’t speak with someone directly [at Nashville Fertility Center- Nashville]. You have to leave a message and wait for someone to call you back. They call back within the day if you call before late afternoon, but it would be nice to speak with someone directly.... Andy is the best! She is very compassionate and very patient. She answers all my questions and returns all my phone calls and emails.

Successful
He [Dr. Glenn Weitzman] is very candid but warm, eager to listen to questions, thorough, and hopeful. He cut to he chase but not in a dehumanizing way. He showed genuine concern for my outcomes and my comfort, mentally and physically...We used follistim, menoour, ovidrel, ganirelix to do an egg retrieval, which was very successful. 4 day 5 blasts were created. One was transferred fresh, which resulted in a live birth. One was transferred frozen a year later and resulted in an ongoing pregnancy
The financial office [at Nashville Fertility Center] was very helpful and upfront and knowledgeable about discount programs and ways to manage costs...This office has short wait times, great facilities, friendly staff, and clear instructions. I always felt as if I were in great hands. I felt confident that they knew what they were doing and would give me great care...Everyone from nurses to administrators to coordinators were 100% professional, caring, and efficient. I never doubted their ability to coordinate and execute my treatment plan.
