Being very nervous for the whole process and the unexpected he [Dr. Weitzman] made me and my husband both feel comfortable and had complete trust in him. We came in With a lot of questions they were always happily answered. We have yet to feel like we are JUST another couple trying to have a family, rather we feel like we are truly cared about....surgery for uterine fibroids and ovarian cysts. Each surgery was explained thoroughly. We are in the process of beginning IVF.
Every nurse we have had so far [at Nashville Fertility Center] has been wonderful. I have felt comfortable and cared by each of them. You can tell the nurses truly care about their patients...This clinic is wonderful. From the first visit you feel welcomed. They have great communication and explained processes very well. Dr. Weitzman is very thorough and knowledgeable. His Bed side manner is caring and compassionate. Be patient. Be prepared. Make sure to ask as many questions you need to until you feel comfortable.

So far I have only gone through surgery for uterine fibroids and ovarian cysts. Each surgery was explained thoroughly. We are in the process of beginning IVF.

Every nurse we have had so far has been wonderful. I have felt comfortable and cared by each of them. You can tell the nurses truly care about their patients.

She [Dr. Christine Whitworth] was very honest yet caring. I had OHSS, and she had no issue coming to the ER, having me admitted and following up every day I was in the hospital.... She was very informative, the info was given straight forward. When we weren’t sure if my pregnancy was ectopic , she didn’t beat around the bush. She told me the facts and what to look for , held my hand and cried with me.
[Nashville Fertility Center-Nashville has] A friendly waiting area, it also seemed very cold to me, same with the waiting areas in the back office ( blood work / ultrasound) waiting areas. I was a huge fan of the classes we had to take, very informative, however maybe smaller class sizes.... My nurses were great, very caring, they seemed to care about me as a person and not just what was happening within the clinic. We laughed and cried together.

I was wanting to try to transfer multiple, but I only had 2 at the time. She suggested I transfer 1, in case my body wasn’t ready and we could adjust the treatment if need be for a 2nd try.

For egg retrieval, I was on Follistim 225 every day with Pregnyl 10 mg every other day. My trigger shot was ganarellix. I had an internal ultrasound every other day.

Tina has been fantastic. She has always been caring and understanding. She takes all the time needed to answer all my questions and never makes me feel like a bother.

Dr. Whitworth was very warm and easy to talk to during our visits.... My ovarian reserve was low and the doctor suspected less than optimal egg quality. She prescribed clomid with the hope that if I ovulated multiple eggs there would be a better chance of getting a healthy egg. Even though my husband had no sperm issues, we also did IUI to increase the chance of fertilization.... Overall, my visits to Dr. Whitworth at the Nashville Fertility Clinic were very pleasant.

There is not a lot of sugarcoating... took his time to explain the procedures and the likely outcomes based on our sperm counts. When I pushed back about the necessity of a third beta after low doubling results, he listened and ultimately abided by our wishes to skip the test...was very clear in his communication regarding our issues, the potential success rates and in dealing with our issues after ectopic pregnancy. He also had a very warm bedside manner and it was obvious he cared about the patients.
The nurses were okay [at Nashville Fertility Center]. I don’t have strong feelings for or against...The clinic is extremely busy and wait times can be long. The waiting room is often jam packed and they do not endorse the “no children” rule. I found toddlers in the clinic to be very hard to deal with in an extremely sensitive time. The clinic is easy to access with good parking and is very well organized...Monitoring ultrasounds were around $500 and each IUI was around $1100.

At no point in time did I feel rushed or pushed to move forward with a procedure. I felt I was receiving the whole picture (both good and bad) in a detailed, easy to understand way...Dr. Weitzman is extremely candid and does not mince words or beat around the bush. I appreciated his candor and willingness to be transparent with me about my situation instead of couching the facts to try and provide a soft landing. I felt like I was getting the full picture, I could ask him as many questions as necessary, and he was extremely patient in answering and explaining the procedure...

I felt like I was getting the full picture, I could ask him as many questions as necessary, and he was extremely patient in answering and explaining the procedure. He spoke to me and treated me like an educated, empowered adult instead of someone who needed hand holding.

If you prefer a doctor who chooses softness over directness, Dr. Weitzman may not be a good fit for you. I think this is his best quality as a doctor, but that may not be the best fit for others.

I used Clomid for my second IUI, at mid dose, with progesterone after. This was on the advice of her NP, not because I needed it, but because I was issuing expensive donor sperm, and they wanted to increase my chance of pregnancy so I could save on costs (sperm being $900 each try).
I liked the clinic [Nashville Fertility Center]. The front desk staff are friendly and effective. The only complain I had is that their fincancial coordinator was kind of curt. The clinic also looks very new, and definitely has been updated recently.... The nursing staff was great. Friendly and open. A nurse did my IUI’s and did a great job. Always available for phone calls.... I found costs to be mid line.

Dr. Whitworth is very straightforward. She has more of a clinical bedside manner rather than touchy/feely but tells you like it is. She’s open and easy to work with.

I absolutely love Dr Hill. He is very nice, knowledgeable and professional. I fully understood my Ivf plan and he was open to any suggestions we had. We worked together to put our plan in place...Dr Hill is very nice, has great bedside manners and explains everything very clearly...The doctors are amazing, sweet and very knowledgeable! The support staff and receptionist are rude and seem like they simply don't care. The doctors are so good though that is worth dealing with their staff.
I was very disappointed with my nurse [at Nashville Fertility Center]. She seemed annoyed when I asked questions. She seemed annoyed when I asked her to send prescription to a different pharmacy (found better pricing at a different pharmacy). When she called with the results she was so cold I actually thought our cycle had failed...She also ordered the wrong meds!...The support staff and receptionist are rude and seem like they simply don't care. The doctors are so good though that is worth dealing with their staff.

I was very disappointed with my nurse. She seemed annoyed when I asked questions. She seemed annoyed when I asked her to send prescription to a different pharmacy (found better pricing at a different pharmacy). When she called with the results she was so cold I actually thought our cycle had failed. I was very surprised to find out it did work. It took me a second to take it all in and I asked her to repeat instructions, once again she sounded annoyed. She also ordered the wrong meds! If you are assigned to her, I would strongly recommend you request someone else!

I think she [Dr. Abby Eblen] is kind but honest. Caring but not a sugar-coater. Smart and reasonable. I appreciated her scientific approach also; not patronizing to me at all. Within 10 minutes she told me that I would not be able to have a child on my own and would need IVF without any tests to confirm. I did go to another doctor for a second opinion and I’m fact am now getting the tests and confirmation that is needed to determine the next steps. That was greatly appreciated as false hope has no place in fertility treatments. If we decide to continue treatment in the future we will go to her!
We tried low cost options like clomid and IUI before discovering we were carriers for CF. We found out midway through diagnosis that my husband and I are both carriers for CF. This brought the process to a grinding halt. Dr. Whitworth sent us to a genetic counselor to help us make the most informed decision possible. During this difficult time she was sensitive to our troubles, but also didn't sugarcoat anything. That was greatly appreciated as false hope has no place in fertility treatments. If we decide to continue treatment in the future we will go to her!

We’ve had a great experience with dr Montville so far. We’ve only had a consultation and plan to start IVF in July. We cannot wait to start, as he has been so helpful, and encouraging to us both. He answered any questions we had and made us immediately feel like part of the family ... He was so kind and warm. Very patient in taking his time to explain any question we might have.
Haven’t been to the clinic [Nashville Fertility Center] yet. Our consult was a telehealth consult due to covid19 ... Very accommodating [nursing staff] and quick to call back any time I called. They took their time to answer any questions I had, whether medical or financial related. ... The clinic does seem to be great though. Have no complaints so far.
