I felt like physician [Dr. Nancy Durso] was not qualified to be a fertility physician. Scattered, casual, not serious, did not seem concerned with my feelings about the procedure, did not feel like I was treated like a person, did not feel like I was fully informed, somewhat patronizing, seemed to have a "superiority" complex, seemed unconcerned with my outcome...Impersonal, chaotic, long wait times, no response to my concerns, complaints
My final round was prepaid then lab [at Partners for Fertility and IVF] destroyed eggs thru negligence and final transfer was canceled with no refund to me for their error...It was not crowded- now I know why. Front desk staff were the best part of the experience. Lab staff was either grossly negligent or just negligent in handling eggs and embryos. Did not feel they were competent at all.

It was not crowded- now I know why. Front desk staff were the best part of the experience. Lab staff was either grossly negligent or just negligent in handling eggs and embryos. Did not feel they were competent at all.

Do not recall specific breakdown. Approx $5000 for retrieval and implantation. My final round was prepaid then lab destroyed eggs thru negligence and final transfer was canceled with no refund to me for their error.

She was far from warm or personable. Like a lot of docs. Not unusual but very much do NOT like. Especially with an area such as this.

Too long ago. Basically standard injections iui. Tried one minimal stimulation Ivf which was unsuccessful. Took a gamble. Not sure if she's even doing that still.

I feel like I already did this. Nothing else to say. Her clinic is now totally different than 2007 and so I couldn't help anyhow. All is diff now.

...we needed to do IVF and chose PGS [pre-implantation genetic screening] testing... She pushed us into testing on d3 [day 3] and transferring on d5 [day 5] and never disclosed that she did not have the equipment to test the embryos on d5.
Dr. [Durso] failed to disclose that she didn't have the ability to biopsy d5 embryos for PGS testing because she doesn't have the appropriate equipment... Only use her for IUI, not IVF.
How was your experience with Nancy Durso at Partners for Fertility and IVF (closed)?
Dr Durso was very good when we were undergoing IUIs, and we did have a child. When we were ready for a second child, we needed to do IVF and chose PGS testing to get our best possible chance for a successful pregnancy. She pushed us into testing on d3 and transferring on d5 and never disclosed that she did not have the equipment to test the embryos on d5. I would not recommend her for IVF treatment based on this experience.

Only use her for IUI, not IVF.
