I felt that the dr was concise and detailed in all dealings. Considerate and supportive when needed and looked after my best interests both personally and financially. I received all the appropriate information that I needed at each stage of this journey and felt like I was patiently listened to when I needed more answers or support.

Ask all the questions that you need. I think sometimes women don't feel like they can ask for what they need and it's so important to feel like you have a handle on all the different aspects of your fertility.

With my severely diminished egg reserve, the best treatments were oral hormones, ultrasound and hormonal injections to encourage follicle development. We did one cycle "naturally" and then 6 cycles with IUI. None of these cycles resulted in a pregnancy and we are now looking at IVF.

He is straightforward yet soft. This is refreshing! He does not dance around feelings and that provides so much more confidence in the process. He did not look at me like a wounded animal but rather just a bit more complex than the average lady. This was huge for my personal mental health as this process can be overwhelming.

No advice in particular. If you are looking for someone to give you a huge and cry with you every appointment. This is not the guy for you. If you are looking for honest and straightforward answers, that's who he is! He knows you don't want to waste any more time, nor does he.

I have a homogeneous folic acid mutation and thyroid issue. I am on folate, thyroid and baby aspirin every day now. My blood work is now normal after 6 weeks of taking the meds. I just finished 1 round of fermera and will take an injection tomorrow to help ovulation. I will then start with progesterone hoping for a positive.

My copay is 100 per visit. Other than that my insurance covers everything else. My prescriptions are about 150/month

Our consultation visit with Dr. Nichols was very informative. We appreciated his direct approach and discussion of the pros/cons of each treatment option. The information presented can be very overwhelming in a consultation visit, but we left with a clear understanding of what to expect next, as well as optimism.

I would advise a new patient to have an idea of what they want in terms of treatment options and not to take a passive approach to these decisions.

So far, we have only had one cycle with Dr. Nichols. Based on previous work-up with a fertility specialist the month before (whom referred us to PREG after initial work-up was inconclusive), Dr. Nichols provided multiple options for my husband and me during our consultation appointment. We decided to try timed intercourse plus medications (letrozole + trigger shot with HCG) for 2-3 cycles prior to progressing to the next step. Unfortunately we did not get pregnant this first cycle but for this next cycle, the dose of letrozole was increased from 2.5mg to 5mg.

My insurance required a $40 copay for all visits. Insurance provided some coverage for medications and covered all diagnostic procedures; however insurance will not cover IVF.

My experience as a patient has been excellent in regards to Dr. McCoy. With upsetting news he has been matter of fact, which is what I personally need from my doctor. I always know what my options are and what, exactly, is involved with each option.

If you need to be coddled as a patient you may want to look elsewhere. Dr. McCoy is excellent but there isn't a lot of handholding.

At first we didn't really know what was wrong so we tried Letrozole with a trigger shot for a few cycles. It seemed like I was producing follicles but there was no resulting pregnancy. We moved on and did a few more tests to find that I have low AMH. Our options became to continue the Letrozole with trigger, IVF with my own eggs, or IVF with donor eggs. We haven't started IVF yet so I can't really say what the results are.

My insurance paid a portion of each visit so I can't really give an idea of what care looks like without insurance. I can say that one IVF cycle is going to cost around $6500 out of pocket with insurance paying 80% and not including medications.

Dr. McCoy is strongly against transferring more than one embryo for me.

He is very factual and can answer the questions that you ask. He likes to make sure you understand why you are doing the procedures that you are and what to expect if they do not go as planned. He will then rethinking meds and procedures according to your history. He will let you know the options and give you the freedom to choose your next step without judgement.

Have questions ready to ask ahead of time. Let him know up front your concerns.

Every month when I start my period I call. They then send in my famara to my local pharmacy and my gonal f / ovidrel injections to Mandel's pharmacy. On days 3- 8 I take famara, on days 6-9 I take my gonal f injections. On day 10 I go in for an ultrasound ( because I'm an early ovulater) if I have mature follicles they will give me my ovidrel injections. I then go back 24hr later for my IUI procedure. One week from then I go to get blood work done to check my progesterone level to make sure I ovulated. A week later I am to take a pregnancy test.

Doctor visits are about $80, untrasounds $50, IUI $575, gonal f $375, ovidrel $107, famara $6.

He was honest with us from the beginning and was very helpful along the way. He never gave us false hope but he made sure he did all he could do. He explained things in a manner that we understood and was VERY attentive. He took his time at each doctor's visit espcially once I became pregnant.

Dont be afraid to ask as many questions as you need to because he will definitely answer them.

We started out with me taking letrazole at the medium dosage and when that didn't produce the results we wanted he put me on the highest dosage. I had to inject the trigger shot each month. He also put my husband on clomid due to low sperm mobility and count. We weren't getting a positive test with timed intercourse so we done three IUI's. Dr. Mccoy had high hopes for the last one but it resulted in yet another negative pregnancy test. He told us we could look into IVF because he felt that was going to be our best best. We started IVF fertility drugs and I was put on higher quantities due to my past dosages not being enough with letrazole. After the first round of IVF I became pregnant and we now have a 3month old baby girl.

Our insurance did not cover the IVF expenses but it did cover the doctor appointments and ultrasounds. We had to pay $90 for each trigger shot. IUI cost us $475. The total cost for our IVF was around $17,000. PREG does offer financial options if you meet the requirements.

Dr. Mccoy had a strong preference for single embryo transfer because he said he would rather quantity over quality. Which we agreed because healthy is always better.

She truly cares about her patients well being and outcomes. She has an amazing bed manner. I can not rave enough about her. She even checked on me when I was in the hospital for my miscarriage. I just feel she truly cares for her patients and I'm not just a number. And she just never gives up on me! I truly feel like she is top of line dr.

I would tell them to allow her in and allow her to give all her expertise! She truly is a great doctor and very informative

we did donor iui 2 times first time with clomid i only had one egg and it failed iui. Second iui we used letrezole and that produced 4 eggs and pregnancy occurred ( ended up being tubal) then we went to mini ivf with goal f. Low dose hcg and micro dose Lupton produced 5 eggs 2 were mature non made it ( we chose iui with donor because male factor then mini if because she knew I don't produce a lot of eggs

Mini ivf was 9500 And my iui was about 2 thousand with donor sperm

As a man, I felt incredibly awkward in this process. We men somehow grow up learning almost nothing about cycles and how pregnancy really happens. Dr. Fru made me super comfortable and I felt like I could ask her anything I needed.

I don’t think you need advice, other than don’t be intimidated by it. Just go and do it. Get the process started.

We did 4 rounds of medication-assisted natural attempts, and then 4 rounds of IUI.

My insurance covered our treatment so it was very affordable from the financial perspective.

We always felt like we were in good hands and he did a great job explaining what to expect. I appreciated his thorough instructions and clear cut planning. He also has a sensational bedside manner. It was also easy to set up our appointments with him.

I would say the best thing you can do is trust the process, and stay as positive as possible.

I was prescribed clomid on day 3 or my cycle for 5 days, I believe. Then, scheduled ultrasounds until i triggered. Then IUI was preformed.

It was fairly expensive. Most insurance does not cover the cost for LGBTQ fertility issues.

He is personable and presents things in a way that I can understand. He answered all of my questions. Though he encouraged IVF, once I explained I could not afford that treatment, he provided alternatives and changed my course of treatment just with medications.

Dont be afraid to ask questions or ask to meet with your doctor.

He completed several tests and labs prior to starting treatment. We started with medication and following each cycle I would have an ultrasound and labs. After this was unsuccessful, we met and discussed IUI. We increased medications and attempted IUI. However, these were last unsuccessful, so we met again and though IVF was recommended we are unable to afford this, so we changed the course of treatment to just include an increase in medications.

My doctor was very direct and to the point. He did explain our future needs or possible paths needed (IVF). He was very familiar with all my losses and record information. Each visit was relatively short and to the point, but very informative.

Do your research and know/learn your body and cycles.

I was forst put on chlomid and had a allergic reaction. I was later put on Letrizol for 3 more consecutive months. I cannot remember the dosage but for cycle days 3-7. All cycles we're evaluated and none were a result in pregnancy. We attempted to concieve naturally with help of Letrizol.

My cost were affordable after insurance. My main cost were for blood work, ultrasounds, medication, office visit. I simply can't afford needed IVF.

Dr. McCoy was compassionate. He only speaks what is necessary and is very calm. He draws pictures to give us a visual of the procedures. He understands out infertility problems and made sure our needs were met. I wish he was the person to preform our IUI. We are planning to do an IVF soon and hope that he will be the Dr. to preform this procedure.

He said "be patient and remember that you're still very young. Relax and take some time to enjoy your husband. It'll just happen."

I was given ovulation medications and my husband was given the clomids. I also took the injection pen 3 days before my IUI.

The cost was ~$800 for my first IUI this includes my ultrasound, trigger shot, semen analysis, procedure and follow-up appt.

Although my visits to the clinic were primarily spent with his fantastic nurses, my initial consultation was very thorough. Dr McCoy takes his time to be sure you're educated and aware. As a single female, I was fearful of being judged. That wasn't the case at all. All my options were layed out and discussed and a plan in going forward was made. He made me feel comfortable and hopeful. Unfortunately, my situation didn't yield the outcome I had hoped for; I'm still optimistic my ultimate goal will be met some day, with the help of Dr McCoy.

Be patient and kind to yourself.

I did three rounds of IUI with injectables and donor sperm. Gonal F and a trigger shot on day 12. Although I responded well (2-3 follicles each cycle), I unfortunately didn't get pregnant.

I connected with my doctor very well. I never hesitated to ask questions and have always got an answer for one. Coming from a different ethnicity she always respected our culture and treated us very well and professionally. She has made things possible for us when everyone else lost hope in ourselves including us.

Listen to her and ask her as many questions as you want.

We followed antagonist protocols and they were different in both my cycles.

He was very helpful, caring, reliable when needed and just the best doctor I have ever come in contact with whenever I was worried he put my mind at ease and because of him we have our miracle baby and life couldn’t be better because of Dr McCoy

He did everything by the book to make us have the best possible outcome checked all me labs to ensure they were where they needed to be and the things that were not he put me on medication to get all my levels right to make sure we had he best chance in success that we could

Dr. Payne's care, and bedside manners were excellent. His way of explaining things were so well understood, I never had to question much of anything he was saying. He's blunt, and straight to the point, but yet he's also very compassionate. I wish I could've kept him as my doctor throughout my whole pregnancy (which was a success through IVF) From a 1-10 my overall experience with Dr. Payne would definitely be a 10 and my husband and I will be going back to him, and the PREG staff for baby #2!

The estimated costs for my IVF treatment was roughly around $8,500

He is a wonderful doctor!! He has returned my phone calls personally no matter the day or time. That means a lot when you are dealing with infertility. He is very knowledgeable about the care that we needed to receive. My husband is a military veteran and our fertility issues are largely impart to an injury he sustained in the military. My husband and I both are very pleased at the care we have been give by Dr. McCoy.

Ask any and all questions you can think of he will answer them all

Did not get to see him every visit. Clinic was expensive due to out of pocket costs. However when we did see him he was nice and respectful especially since we were LGBT. I wish we had money to keep trying. We weren’t sure we could go Straight to IVF OR SIMPLY IVF instead of IUI. It has a very low success rate. So we only have tried IUI. He was polite and respectful to our needs

Research your options even if it means going out of state.

I used Ovulation prediction kits, fertility pills and then had the IUI procedure twice. The first IUI was natural cycle and we just used an OPK then had the IUI.

Very expensive due to out of pocket cost and no insurance involved.

It was about 2 years ago, but the initial visit was kind of cold. I imagine that he sees a lot of people and makes assessments. Once I was an actual patient (paid my $$$$) the attitude changed and he was very warm and guided me completely.

Don't be discouraged if at first he seems distant.

We did IVF, he didn't see any reason that it wouldn't work. Results were a (current) 21 month old son.

He suggested a single embryo transfer, but I wanted to embryo's. He agreed that this would be fine. Ended up with one healthy baby.

Travis is kind, friendly and welcoming. He explains things very well and clearly cares about his patients. We spent limited time with him as the nurses performed all our IUI procedures, but overall we were very impressed and look forward to continuing to work with him

The one piece of advice I could give is ask as many questions as you can. Dr Mcoy is more than willing to answer anything, and even stay late with you if necessary.

We came to Dr Mcoy after trying for 1 year unsuccessful on our own. We were advised to try Clomid for a few rounds (4) and in detail we were explained all our options and what a relatively normal infertility process looks like. Medication is a common starting point, and so we unsuccessfully gave it 4 rounds. My husband had some potential male factor issues, dealing with inconsistency in his number of sperm produced and possibly quality. We began our first round of IUI by switching to Femara. My husbands frost sperm count of the fist day of IUI was not good enough for a transfer. But, the next 3 rounds were decent numbers . 20-30k if I remember correctly. Unfortunately all were unsuccessful. We then had a consult for IVF which Mcoy agreed was a reasonable next step, though we could have tried IUI a few more times if we wanted. Unfortunately we did not qualify for the rebate program and the only thing that was hindering us that we could actually control was my weight. It was humiliating, but eye opening. We made the decision to take a break and I have been able to successfully loose the necessary weight. We are ready to hopefully have another consult and proceed with IVF.

Costs were reasonable. 80$ co pays, 500$ IUI procedures.

Mcoy has conveyed his opinion that only a single embryo is really necessary, given my age. My husband and I ultimately agree and understand. We love the idea of twins, but understand the risks associated with multiples and we want to be as safe and healthy as possible.

I'm a person who like to find a dr that I'm comfortable with and feel that I can trust and will do everything possible to achieve what I want/need. I never once had to question if we were doing the right thing during treatments.

Be patient. Dr mccoy will come up with a plan that is right for you and work the best.

We have tried letrozole and ovidrel injections. We have had to increase the amount to the highest for my body to do what it needed but I don't remember the exact dosages. This is after trying over a year of clomid treatments with my obgyn.

20 dollar copays with insurance. Letrozole and prednisone were affordable. Ovidrel cost with insurance was over 200 dollars at the highest dose I was recently using.

She has a warming personality. She makes you smile even though this road has been tough. She makes her professional recommendations while keeping in mind what you want as her patient. It hasnt been easy for me. Im 35 and I have never been pregnant. Although Dr. Fru recommends IVF she hasn't pushed it on me. I explained I couldn't afford it at this time so we are exploring other options. But I really want to do IVF, just not financially possible.

She will keep it honest with you.

I've completed 12 Cycles with Doctor Fru. I took letrozole for 12 Cycles. I took a trigger shot for 11 Cycles. I had three IUI's.

With my insurance roughly $90 for scans and $250 for IUI.

Best experience! He emailed us directly and got back to us right away. Very positive and gave us great feedback on our choices. Some of our previous doctors were impossible to get ahold of but he was always accessible which was very important to us.

Don’t hesitate to use him as your doctor!

We had an donor embryo transfer and he made sure to prescribe us the most straightforward and cheapest fertility drugs unlike past clinics.

He suggested a single embryo transfer but we ended up doing a multiple one because of past setbacks. We are about to expect one baby and are very thankful! He ended up leaving the choice to us.

I felt that he was very knowledgeable with infertility treatments and had reviewed my case before we arrived. However, I slightly felt like a number and like we were being pushed to pick a procedure that day.

Ask questions and take the time you need to make your decision on next steps.

Dr. Payne suggested that we try a round or two of IUI with a trigger shot if we wanted. However, he strongly pushed IVF because it has a better success rate.

We only had an initial consultation and testing. The consultation was $125 and the labs were $268. Our insurance does not cover any infertility treatments therefore, the IUI would have cost around $3000 with the trigger shot and IVF would have cost around $20,000.

Dr. Fru is amazing. I felt she took the time to understand what my needs were. She answered my questions and gave me honest feedback. She also treated me like a human and not a number. She showed lots of compassion. She is also energetic and realistic about my situation. She explains things very well.

Be ready with your questions.

We didn’t get that far yet as I had some other medical complications to work through.

I guess the cost is reasonable. Considering the amount of debt I’m in though.... fertility treatments are pricey.
