This is the most recent data from the CDC. The CDC cautions that it should not be used to compare doctors and clinics. This data represents the outcomes of IVF cycles when using a person's own eggs.
For more information please see our FAQs.
Where you see a “?” on the chart, a clinic has done fewer than 20 cycles in this category and age range, so the CDC says showing percentages from this small data set would be misleading and unreliable.
Dr. Littman makes you feel comfortable. She's quick but not rushed. You can tell she is wildly busy, but I've never felt like she's not 100% with me during my appointments. She answers all my questions and is never condescending...Dr. Littman will not transfer more than two embryos as a time. She, her team and all the paperwork I was given made it perfectly clear why that is...The follicle stimulating shots were actually given in my thigh, not the stomach as directed on the package. Dr. Littman has seen a higher success with thigh injections
I always have a million questions about my results, next steps, what I'm eating, etc. and [the Red Rock Fertility nurse] always dedicates time to me as needed. She has a full kit of the drugs I'll be starting and shows me how to use them all...The clinic staff also helped me with my insurance and walked me through the entire process...They have everything you would need, from cleaning wipes to pads. Everyone is friendly. It's so convenient, too. Everything happens in the same place, from blood work to the actual transfer.

Dr. Littman makes you feel comfortable. She's quick but not rushed. You can tell she is wildly busy, but I've never felt like she's not 100% with me during my appointments. She answers all my questions and is never condescending (we've all had that doctor).
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Eva Littman at Red Rock Fertility?
Bring a notepad and pen. There is so much information and while they do give you a flowchart, there was still so much info I wished I had written down. If you have questions, write them down ahead of time. It is easy to forget them while there.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Eva Littman at Red Rock Fertility?
Dr. Littman and her staff are extremely kind and caring. They make an emotionally tough and physically stressful experience as comfortable as it can possibly be. They are cheerful and you feel like it's totally normal to have them in your physical personal space, which can easily feel awkward if the provider approaches it that way. They are gentle and have never caused physical pain. They call me after every procedure to check in on me. I receive frequent one-on-one time with my coordinator who answers all my questions (I have many). She always checks in with me to see how I'm doing. Dr. Littman is so cheerful and kind. She's that perfect mix of blunt (won't sugarcoat it) but she's also gentle about delivering realistic or negative news.
Describe the protocols Eva Littman used in your cycles at Red Rock Fertility and their degree of success.
We started the journey thinking we'd attempt IUI. So Dr. Littman put him on two different shots to potentially increase his sperm count. After Covid nearly killed him, we opted to skip IUI and moved to IVF. I can't recall all of the meds, but I went through one egg retrieval, which included shots to stimulate my follicles, and a shot to prevent ovulation. The follicle stimulating shots were actually given in my thigh, not the stomach as directed on the package. Dr. Littman has seen a higher success with thigh injections. The shot to prevent ovulation was in the stomach. I was on estrogen, progesterone (in the behind) and baby Aspirin for the IVF transfer. These included pills, shots and a vaginal insert.
I am also on vitamin D supplements as my counts were low.
Describe your experience with your nurse at Red Rock Fertility. (Assigned nurse: Joanna Moreno)
Joanna has become one of my favorite humans! She's so kind. I always have a million questions about my results, next steps, what I'm eating, etc. and she always dedicates time to me as needed. She has a full kit of the drugs I'll be starting and shows me how to use them all. She's empathetic and I appreciate how comfortable I feel with her. She even called me after hours one evening to ensure I got the info I needed.
Describe your experience with Red Rock Fertility.
The clinic is busy, so getting an apt. with Dr. Littman can take some time. If you're like me, you will struggle with having to wait for a call back as the person you need to talk to is almost never available when you actually call. However, someone has always gotten back to me the same day. The clinic is beautiful inside, clean, and has a calm ambiance. They have everything you would need, from cleaning wipes to pads. Everyone is friendly. It's so convenient, too. Everything happens in the same place, from blood work to the actual transfer. The phlebotomist is also one of my favorites! She always makes me laugh and has never bruised me (that happens often).
The clinic staff also helped me with my insurance and walked me through the entire process. Had it not been for their guidance, I would have made a massive insurance error that would have cost me several thousands of dollars. I appreciate them more than they know.
Describe the costs associated with your care under Eva Littman at Red Rock Fertility.
My cash expenses for egg retrieval, PGS, freezing, meds and a transfer was roughly $11K. This is with insurance. Insurance did not cover PGS at all, which was $4K of that total cost.
Describe Eva Littman's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at Red Rock Fertility.
Dr. Littman will not transfer more than two embryos as a time. She, her team and all the paperwork I was given made it perfectly clear why that is. I have absolutely no challenges against that. So far, I have only done one transfer of one embryo. I was told transferring two would likely increase my chances for success, but since we only had 3 viable embryos after PGS, it was common to only transfer one the first time.
Dr. Littman didn't even see me in person until i was 7 weeks pregnant...[she] has no bedside manner and was annoyed that I became pregnant on my own. She was rude to my husband and I as well. She failed to explain anything that was going on, and had no compassion...During complications from the D&C she would not return phone calls to myself or to the doctor at the ER treating me.
My insurance covered most of it, but we were quoted over $20,000 for IFV...The nursing staff [at Red Rock Fertility] was OK. The PA is- Amnity was the only person at this office who explained anything to me and my husband. She also was the most compassionate...Billing discrepancies, terrible communication. The woman who draws blood was very sweet. The clinic was clean, but the staff was not always nice and i was charged copays even after I met my out of pocket max.
How was your experience with Eva Littman at Red Rock Fertility?
Dr. Littman has no bedside manner and was annoyed that I became pregnant on my own. She was rude to my husband and I as well. She failed to explain anything that was going on, and had no compassion. After I moved to a different specialist, her office refused to give my full records to the new doctor and to other doctors that also requested records.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Eva Littman at Red Rock Fertility?
Do not go to this practice. This doctor will treat you like a number, will have no compassion, and will overcharge you for procedures. She will not give you your chart or send the full chart to any other doctors. She will not explain anything that is going on.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Eva Littman at Red Rock Fertility?
Dr. Littman didn't even see me in person until i was 7 weeks pregnant. I had started diagnostics and then became pregnant naturally. When I did finally see her at my 7 week ultrasound she made me wait almost an hour in the room, then came in, never introduced herself of said hello and just started the vaginal ultrasound. After a few min she said "it's not viable and the nurse will schedule your D&C, then she left the room. For the D&C, i was her last patient of the day and she couldn't even be bothered to see me before or after. During complications from the D&C she would not return phone calls to myself or to the doctor at the ER treating me.

Describe the specific things that went wrong at Red Rock Fertility.
There was an issue with one of my RX not being sent to the specialty pharmacy. The continually refuse to send my chart with ALL test and results to any of the doctors that requested- EVEN doctors that were not fertility specialists.
During testing [Dr. Eva Littman] was in and out with not a lot of explanation. I think she could have been better but mainly i didn’t know what to expect or what was going on...Through out my testing however- Dr Littman was very quick and to the point. I’m very new to the process so i would have liked a little more info...We will be heading directly to IVF due to a previous vasectomy. Not sure on my protocols until testing on me is completed. I had a hysteroscopy to even out the uterus lining.
When i called to schedule the follow up [at Red Rock Fertility], they would not schedule it without my husband having his bloodwork done. This is an outside cost for us and it’s VERY frustrating that MY results (and my health) was being held up while we wait for him to have time/us have money to get his tests...It’s very boutique like which comes off as expensive- that’s true. The care seems to be great thus far but we are still beginning. It’s very clean, feels family oriented once you get into the offices. They provide a lot of services on site which is convenient.
How was your experience with Eva Littman at Red Rock Fertility?
I haven’t seen her much yet because we are only at the beginning of treatment. I assume she will be present for more of the test results/procedures in the future. As of now, i am impressed with the clinic staff and how welcoming they are.
During testing Dr Littman was in and out with not a lot of explanation. I think she could have been better but mainly i didn’t know what to expect or what was going on.
Her office called to “confirm” some results of my tests, but wouldn’t give me those results without my husband paying out of pocket for his blood tests. He was not able to get them done prior to covid shut down and now i feel as though my health wasn’t a priority to this office at all.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Eva Littman at Red Rock Fertility?
Do your research before so procedures don’t seem like a foreign language.
Don’t expect the same warmth from Dr L as you get from the rest of the staff. She’s very direct.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Eva Littman at Red Rock Fertility?
My husband was going to meet me for our consultation. That morning he had an emergency and would be over an hour late. The team checked on me continuously while waiting for him and delayed our appt so i wouldn’t have to reschedule.
Through out my testing however- Dr Littman was very quick and to the point. I’m very new to the process so i would have liked a little more info.
After a hysteroscopy, i was contacted by an outside number claiming to have my results. They said i could get them over the phone or contact my dr for a follow up. It seemed scammy so i opted for a follow up with my dr.
When i called to schedule the follow up, they would not schedule it without my husband having his bloodwork done. This is an outside cost for us and it’s VERY frustrating that MY results (and my health) was being held up while we wait for him to have time/us have money to get his tests. Now we’re full into COVID lock down, and im very stressed about not having these test results.
It feels like my health is being disregarded.
Describe the protocols Eva Littman used in your cycles at Red Rock Fertility and their degree of success.
We will be heading directly to IVF due to a previous vasectomy. Not sure on my protocols until testing on me is completed.
I had a hysteroscopy to even out the uterus lining. Easy procedure. In and out within an hour. They use anesthesia.
I did not get any additional results off the procedure or my blood tests.
Describe your experience with your nurse at Red Rock Fertility. (Assigned nurse: Jennifer)
So far so great. Great with explanations, timely phone calls etc.
Great with scheduling based on my work schedule.
The nurse who called to schedule my follow up said there were causes of concern from my test results, but wouldn’t give me those results until my husband did his bloodwork. Due to Covid who knows how long that will be and i am unable to make changes for my health because i do not have test results.

I was put on birth control but my migraines make bc difficult. I asked several people including the Dr if i should be worried and always i got “did you try it first”. No- bec it says to consult your dr if you have migraines.
I ended up taking it but stopped immediately after the procedure without finishing the pack.
After my hysteroscopy a nurse called to tell me there were some causes for concern but she wouldn’t tell me why until we got my husbands bloodwork done. He’s military, his schedule is impossible and now i feel like my health isn’t the priority.
Dr. Littman is more straightforward and blunt than other doctors, but I don't mind that approach personally. She is typically pretty brief when you do see her for any procedure or appointment, which was slightly off-putting, but I know her clinic is pretty busy. I don't feel like she was as personally invested in me as a patient, however, I do think she is qualified and a good doctor...she did always bring up my weight and prescribe phentrimine, which I don't love taking. She said it was safe to use while trying to conceive but I've always heard mixed information on its safety, so I didn't want to use it.
I think the clinic [Red Rock Fertility] is a clean and nice environment, sometimes, like every clinic I've worked with, they don't contact when they say they will or are late to respond. Other than that I believe they are a very efficient clinic...If you're a person who requires more time with the doctors or needs more bedside manner, RRF may not be for you. Dr. Littman will tell you how it is, which I like, but if that's not your preference this may not be the clinic for you
How was your experience with Eva Littman at Red Rock Fertility?
Dr. Littman I feel was qualified and good at her job. She was always busy so I did feel a bit rushed at times and I mostly saw people from other departments or nurses. I do feel like she knows what she is doing, however, there were some concerns I'd bring up that she seemed to just pass over quickly. While I liked her a lot, she did always bring up my weight and prescribe phentrimine, which I don't love taking. She said it was safe to use while trying to conceive but I've always heard mixed information on its safety, so I didn't want to use it. Overall I would have been mostly confident proceeding in treatment with her, however, her prices were too high and my insurance has a very small limit for fertility treatment.

One of Dr. Littman's found a polyp on my uterus and then we made a plan to complete surgery to remove it to improve my chances of conceiving. We did have a plan in place for IUI, but then plans changed based on medication costs being astronomical
Describe your experience with the nursing staff at Red Rock Fertility.
I never had any issues with the nurses, they were kind and helpful throughout my appointments.

I'm not certain of specific costs, but RRF is one of the more expensive clinics in town for IVF. Other than procedures like IUI and IVF, my insurance mostly covered the normal visits.

Describe the specific things that went wrong at Red Rock Fertility.
These issues seem to be common in fertility clinics and most doctors offices to be honest, just simple things like not calling when expected or late to call in a prescription
I felt that Dr. Littman was very knowledgeable about my particular case. She read through all my tests and my partner's test and used her best judgement to develop a course of treatment. She was very professional and not overly friendly. She tried not to keep the patient waiting too long given the amount of clients she has.... I explained to Dr Littman that my partner would be out of town for 6 weeks and also the staff. They forgot and was threatening to cancel the treatment if the contract was not signed when they have had us down all the paperwork while we were there before he left for training.
There were not enough staff available to handle the number of clients so there were long wait times and overlapping appointment slots. Office [Red Rock Fertility] was too busy to answer the phone because they said they were entirely too busy.... Limited appointment slots for the amount of patients. Front desk was overwhelmed with volume and need additional staff. Was unable to return phone calls timely. At times staff did not pass along messages accurately to the coordinator and should have requested all documents to be signed at the same time to avoid delay with treatment and to minimize confusion

They should of had him come in to give his semen as to not have to freeze the eggs after the protocol also....
When our transfer failed I got a call from a nurse, it would have been nice to get that call from Dr. Littman herself. Overall I liked her as a doctor and will be using her for future transfers... very active and present during my IVF. She did every ultrasound, explained number of follicles, went over estrogen levels, uterine lining, etc. I liked that she was so hands on, most clinics will just have nurses do those things so it was nice having the actual doctor explain in person rather than hearing results later from a nurse. She did run a bit late on embryo transfer day, but again, she was likely busy giving the same attention see gave me to other patients so I didn't mind.
Leti [the nurse at Red Rock Fertility Center] was amazing! She was quick to respond, great at explaining everything, and showed so much compassion when our IVF failed...The clinic is beautiful! It's easy to get to and definitely seems state of the art! The only frustrating part is that a lot of times I'll call then have to wait for someone to call me back or get transferred multiple times, but I realize that also helps ensure I get the most accurate information.

Dr. Littman was very thorough and explained everything in great detail to make sure I understood.
Describe the protocols Eva Littman used in your cycles at Red Rock Fertility and their degree of success.
We did IVF with ICSI. I did a pretty typical protocol of birth control for a few weeks, all the pre cycle lab work and sonohysterogram. I stimmed on gonal-f and menopur, when eggs were mature and estrogen high enough we triggered with hcg then retrieval. I did overstimulate so we did a freeze all of 8 day 5 embryos and 1 day 6 embryo. The next month we did a medicated FET with oral estrogen and Crinone. I personally liked that no Lupron used, it cut down on medication costs and was a relatively short time on injections.

My insurance covered the majority of my treatment. I basically paid copays. I think total ended up around $4500 for IVF and FET.
Describe Eva Littman's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at Red Rock Fertility.
Dr. Littman left the decision on number of embryos transferred up to me as a patient, but would (for obvious reasons) not allow more than 2 at a time.
Dr. Littman is a no B.S. kind of doctor, which is what I wanted in a fertility doctor. We did all the tests then we met her to come up with a game plan. For us, there was no explanation for why I hadn't conceived. She looked at us and said we could mess around with IUI which has __ chance of taking or we can go for the straight route and do IVF. We had wanted kids for a long time, it was obvious to her and that was her recommendation. Yielded 16 eggs, implanted 2 and had twins, all in 1 cycle. Talk about taking the highway.
What I loved most about working with RRF is that I never felt like my husband & I were on this journey alone. If I had a problem or a question, Leticia always answered the phone or email, day or night. Never did I feel like I was asking a stupid question or I was being paranoid. You're cramping a lot? How about you come in today and we do an ultrasound to double check on the babies. Also, we had to push my embryo retrieval by a day and I didn't have enough of one injection. Leticia had a stockpile in the office fridge for those scenarios. When we finished our treatment I brought her anything that was sealed and still usable to give to the next patient who would need it.

One thing that she does is assisted hatching. It is no covered by our insurance, but it's where they essentially break the egg before implantation to help it take. She's a firm believer in it and it is part of her procedure with IVF.

Describe Eva Littman's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at Red Rock Fertility.
We were educated on the number of embryos we had available vs what we should do. She recommended no more than 2 in case both took (which they did) and in case they both split. We signed a form stating it could be up to quadruplets. That one took a second to take in.
Our consults were 5 minutes max, with her telling us what we would be doing and she would get exasperated when my husband and I would try to ask questions. She [Dr. Littman] would joke and say that everyone thinks they're a doctor after searching on google. We had two failed cycles of IVF with Littman, and she recommended that we just continue doing IVF cycles and hopefully one day it would work.... agonist protocol both times. Each using menopur, gonal-f and cetratide.
At times left to wait over an hour, no one [Red Rock Fertility] knew my name, and you felt rushed in and rushed out....Communication is severely lacking. I had major anxiety during one of my rounds because I had a question about medication and I couldn't get ahold of anyone.... The ultrasound tech was not allowed to talk to you about what they saw. It had to be reviewed by the doctor and then the results were posted on your patient portal.
How was your experience with Eva Littman at Red Rock Fertility?
Awful. Our first round of IVF I was 23 years old and new nothing about the world of infertility. Our consults were 5 minutes max, with her telling us what we would be doing and she would get exasperated when my husband and I would try to ask questions. She would joke and say that everyone thinks they're a doctor after searching on google. agonist protocol both times. Each using menopur, gonal-f and cetratide. Between the first and second rounds of IVF she had me on 6 months of lupron in hopes of helping with the inflammation caused by endometriosis, she also recommended I have a laparoscopy done while on the lupron.
Describe your experience with the nursing staff at Red Rock Fertility.
The checked you in, and scheduled your appointment. Other than that no one spoke to you. The ultrasound tech was not allowed to talk to you about what they saw. It had to be reviewed by the doctor and then the results were posted on your patient portal. On occasion you would get a phone call with a nurse saying "everything looks good continue with what you're doing".
Describe your experience with Red Rock Fertility.
You feel like a number.Communication is severely lacking. I had major anxiety during one of my rounds because I had a question about medication and I couldn't get ahold of anyone. They seemed to be all over the place, almost like they were understaffed. On multiple occasions I had to wait over an hour for standard ultrasound appointments. My husband and I showed up for our second transfer at our allotted time and were made to wait over 3 hours to actually have our transfer done. I cannot think of a single strength for this clinic.
Describe the costs associated with your care under Eva Littman at Red Rock Fertility.
$17,000 initial that covered everything aside from medication costs.

On two occasions during routine ultrasounds, the tech hit something wrong and I was unable to drive myself home for a half an hour until the pain subsided. The transfer issue during our second round was the last straw for me. You're supposed to go into a transfer hopeful, and as calm as you can be but we went into it very angry confused and stressed. We weren't given a moment to even enjoy the process before being rushed out. Everything about my experience with this clinic made it feel like a money making scheme and not an avenue to help those that want to become parents but can't on their own.
She's [Dr Eve Littman] too busy. She has more patients than I think she knows how to manage sometimes. After an ultrasound to check my lining one time she mistook me for another patient and started talking about an iui transfer when we were doing embryo transfer....
Be prepared to see the doc very little [at Red Rock Fertility Center]. Aside from initial consult and actual procedures you will be dealing with her staff but don't let that alarm you. They are very warm and compassionate where at times she lacks...VF without medication was about 16-17k this did cover pgs testing up to 8 embryos and freezing/storage of remaining embryos/sperm/eggs for a year. Also covered one frozen embryo transfer. Sperm retrieval was coordinated through Red Rock with an outside doctor for around 1500-2k Embryo donation was 5k. Which included a 1500 one time admin charge. If transfer was not successful any other transfer would cost 4k. This charge covered the "batch"

Be blunt, ask questions and don't settle for simple answers. The more you inquire the more you'll learn. Be prepared to see the doc very little. Aside from initial consult and actual procedures you will be dealing with her staff but don't let that alarm you. They are very warm and compassionate where at times she lacks..
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Eva Littman at Red Rock Fertility?
The staff made me feel like it was all about me every time I arrived at the clinic for anything. Sharon McGrath was unbelievable to work with and made me feel special.
Describe the protocols Eva Littman used in your cycles at Red Rock Fertility and their degree of success.
We went straight for IVF due to my husbands vasectomy. We wanted something that would work. Blood tests later showed that my egg quality and reserve was very bad. I loved that the doc wanted a monthly blood test to determine when it would be good for me to start a cycle. 2 months later my blood tests showed more positive results. After meds we retrieved 8 eggs which were all fertilized. 5 made it to give day blasts but only 2 passed pgs testing. Due to hyper stimulated ovaries we froze the embryos for two months before a transfer. My transfer protocol was very minimal compared to a later one. Sometimes I wonder if the failed implantation with my own embryos was a result of such low med protocols.
After a failed IVF the doc said we could do a second which we refused due to costs. She actually recommended iui however my egg quality would be an issue. We declined and went straight to embryo donation.
Describe your experience with your nurse at Red Rock Fertility. (Assigned nurse: Shannon McGrath )
I can't say enough for Shannon. She made me feel special and went over everything with us.
Describe your experience with Red Rock Fertility.
It can be hard to get in for an appointment due to high volume. Sometimes the staff seems rushed during appointments but it's your time ask all the questions you want, it forces them to slow down.

Embryo donation was 5k. Which included a 1500 one time admin charge. If transfer was not successful any other transfer would cost 4k. This charge covered the "batch" of embryos (adopted) chosen. For instance we chose a batch of 4 embryos and transferred 2. Transfer was successful and we still have 2 remaining embryos that belong to us until we decide we don't want to pay yearly storage or donate them back to the clinic.
She [Dr. Littman] always seemed too busy. Always rushed. Not personable. I felt more like a number rather than a patient. She never seem to remember me even though I did 4 IVF Cycles with her. She would always have her nurse call me with the sensitive news, it would have been nice for it to come from her. I never saw her after my retrievals. I was even in the hospital for an ectopic pregnancy and I didn't even see her after my surgery. She wanted to discharge me the day of my surgery.
Office staff [at Red Rock Fertility], aside from the physician, were very nice and always remembered me. Their Surgery Center is not in network with any insurance so that was always an out-of-pocket expense. They were pricey and comparison to other IVF clinics in this area...They tried to charge me an office visit co-pay just for lab draws which after I complained they adjusted....My nurse was compassionate but I didn't always have confidence in her.

What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Eva Littman at Red Rock Fertility?
Be more personal with your patients. Give off the perception that you care about them and that you're not in it just for the business aspect
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Eva Littman at Red Rock Fertility?
Always rushed, not personable. Never seemed to remember me even though I did 4 cycles with her. Poor bedside manner. I preferred the NP over her. Sure always seemed too busy

We banked three of my Cycles before sending them off the embryos for PGS. We only had one normal embryo after 18 were submitted for PGS, but unfortunately that one did not take

What specific things went wrong at Red Rock Fertility?
I went to see Dr. Littman after trying to conceive for 3 years. Once we made it into her office, within 5 minutes she had "diagnosed" me with PCOS. ... She new minimal about my past ... I had previously been tested for ovarian cysts and had none. Even informing her of this she stuck with her diagnoses (didn't even offer to run tests to check that). ... If you don't feel in your gut that she is correct, get a 2nd opinion.

After that I spent the rest of the time there [Red Rock Fertility] with the billing rep going over the costs for all the tests I would need and eventually IUI or IVF.. ... Her office is extremely nice, can't help but think of all the patients that did unnecessary testing.. And how they have paid for her glamorous offices.
How was your experience with Eva Littman at Red Rock Fertility?
Dr. Littman immediately tried to diagnose me with PCOS. She new minimal about my past, other then we had been trying to conceive for 3+ years. After doing her diagnoses.. We spent the rest of the appointment with her billing rep going over the costs of all of the tests Dr. Littman recommended and then eventually IUI and IVF. I had previously been tested for ovarian cysts and had none. Even informing her of this she stuck with her diagnoses (didn't even offer to run tests to check that). I left and reached out to a cousin who had fertility problems, asked if she had ever been diagnosed with PCOS and she immediately said yes by Dr. Littman, but turned out she didn't have it. Turns out I didn't either.. She just went straight to that outcome and all of the expensive tests to get to ivf. In the end a round of clomid from my ob/gyn finally resulted in my precious baby.

I did not go to her for treatment after our initial appointment where she incorrectly diagnosed me with PCOS
Describe your experience with Red Rock Fertility.
Not applicable. I did not continue with this doctor after she misdiagnosed me with PCOS after only talking to me for 5 minutes and not running any tests to confirm. Afterwards I was given page after page of fertility tests she recommends and their outrageous costs. With the end result of ivf (which I did not end up needing)
Describe the costs associated with your care under Eva Littman at Red Rock Fertility.
We were told IUI would be 8500-10000 and ivf 15000-25000. There were a round of tests that Littman ordered beforehand that ranged from 75-700 for each
Dr Littman never had more than 5 minutes to spend with me, whether it was a consultation, ultrasound or even insemination! She is not very personable. I never got called with results, I had to call persistently to get updated. Her nurses were nice but not very knowledgeable. I am a doctor, and would never think of treating my patients like this, especially going through such an emotional process
During my initial workup I had an abnormal HSG result, no one [from Red Rock Fertility Center] felt the need to call me, a month later, i called and was then told of this and rescheduled for a repeat exam, which could have been done weeks earlier. My labs were being monitored after my third IUI because I had a low hcg but positive. I went in for labs on a friday morning and no one called me all weekend, i finally called on monday afternoon and they had no idea they had forgotten to call me, and not very apologetic.
How was your experience with Eva Littman at Red Rock Fertility?
Dr. Littman is not very personable, speaks to you condescendingly and is very abrupt. I only ever spent maybe 5 minutes with her and she never seemed like she remembered me and my history

IUI with follistim injections and hcg triggers. first 2 cycles negative, next one was a chemical pregnancy, final one was done without hcg trigger because nobody listened when i told them we would be missing my ovulation date, I ended up getting my insemination done during what was supposed to be a ultrasound appointment!
Describe your experience with your nurse at Red Rock Fertility. (Assigned nurse: Leticia)
Leticia was very polite, compassionate and always attempted to answer all my questions.
Describe your experience with Red Rock Fertility.
Nice spacious clinic, plenty of seating, coffee bar
Describe the costs associated with your care under Eva Littman at Red Rock Fertility.
My insurance (tricare) covered the cost of all office visits/consults, diagnostic testing, ultrasounds and medications. We paid $500 per each insemination and $350 for semen freezing, as insurance did not cover this.

I was always able to get a hold of her [Dr. Eva Littman] if I had questions. She was candid about our problems and what we could do to help with it. My eggs weren't top quality and my husband had a low sperm count. We ended up having to use a donor and try to strengthen my eggs. It was rough, but her and her staff were with us the entire time.... My eggs weren't strong enough and neither was my husband's sperm. Dr. Littman increased the dosage of everything and put me on Co-Q 10 to strengthen my eggs. The next time we had two embryos survive and those were implanted. I now have 2 year old twin boys from those embryos.
Be sure to bring in your medical history if you can or have it transferred before your first appointment [at Red Rock Fertility Center]. Be prepared to wait because it takes time to get to know people one on one. You may be asked to do your first ultrasound that day along with blood tests.... She [a nurse] was with me everytime and would explain how to do everything and I even had an e-mail address where I could reach her.

She talked candidly about our chances and referred to us by name
Describe the protocols Eva Littman used in your cycles at Red Rock Fertility and their degree of success.
I remember having to do the first ultrasounds to see my ovaries and uterus and blood tests. Then there was the dye test (don't remember name). That was a horrible experience because I was in pain afterwards. I was prescribed pills, shots, and creams just to get my eggs ready for retrieval. The first round of embryos we had made none of them made it. My eggs weren't strong enough and neither was my husband's sperm. Dr. Littman increased the dosage of everything and put me on Co-Q 10 to strengthen my eggs. The next time we had two embryos survive and those were implanted. After you sign yourself in, you will be called up a few minutes later if there is paperwork involved. Normally you could directly back depending on the procedure or you could be there awhile.

I don't remember it all, but the IVF procedure was $16k without the prescriptions.
Describe Eva Littman's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at Red Rock Fertility.
She recommended implanting 2 embryos for a better chance of survival
...She [Dr. Eva Littman] tried to remove them outside of a hospital operating room in her surgical room but was unsuccessful as I started to lose consciousness. After that fiasco of the removal of the polyps I fell pregnant naturally. At a checkup to see if everything was okay she said there was a 6cm fibroid pushing down on the inside of the cavity and not allowing the embryo to grow anymore. The problem that I am struggling with is why wasn't this seen before in ultrasounds or even during the polyp removal procedure? She referred me to another doctor for fibroid removal and that's where all my fertility issues started and have never been able to fall pregnant since.

I went straight to Dr. Littman not knowing anything about fertility or what to expect. I was referred by a colleague of mine who had gotten pregnant by IVF from her. What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Eva Littman at Red Rock Fertility?
Educate yourself. Know the fertility terminology and what to expect. Most of all be your own advocate. The doctors don't know our bodies like we know them.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Eva Littman at Red Rock Fertility?
Her demeanor was very nice and calm. It seemed like she knew what she was talking about.
Describe your experience with your nurse at Red Rock Fertility.
Phone calls after bloodwork are so so important. They were very good at that
Describe your experience with Red Rock Fertility.
The doctor was nice to us. She just never explained reasons for medications. I got a phone call about a medication that she wanted to put me on before we got pregnant but didn't explain what it was for and that it was going to cost almost $900. Surgical procedures should be done in an OR.
Describe the costs associated with your care under Eva Littman at Red Rock Fertility.

I felt like a number because she [Dr. Eva Littman] sat me down in her office to go over my test results and glazed over them and basically told me that she was prescribing me pills to start IVF - but also admitted that we could conceive naturally. I just felt like she was in it for the money and she quickly rushed us out of her office instead of taking time with us to explain everything...She doesn’t have much bedside manner and is extremely quick and matter of fact. She definitely is just there to make more sales, even if it’s not in the best interest for the patient. My husband and I felt rushed and pressured into IVF, without even exploring the option of IUI or medicated cycles.
The clinic [Red Rock Fertility] is absolutely beautiful! If they put as much effort into their bedside manner as they do into how the office looks, they would have a really good thing going for them. My insurance has fertility benefits, and my deductibles are all met. All in, it’s going to cost about $9000 per cycle to do IVF with Dr. Littman
Dr. Eva was so kind the moment I stepped into her office. She offered me a nice cold cup of water too! She seemed so empathic when I told her about my history with miscarriages and reassured me that we were going to find a solution- which we did!... Every visit gave me more hope than the last time I came into the office. She’ll explain every procedure before performing it on me & would make sure my needs were met.
Efficient. Communication is key over there [Red Rock Fertility]! You see every last one of the staff on top of their jobs like their life depended on it! I must say the whole clinic was spotless from head to toe. The bathrooms were very clean as well!... She [nurse] walked me through everything that I should expect going in and seeing Dr. Eva Littman. She seems very knowledgeable in her field. She [Dr. Littman] is willing to answer any and all questions. I consulted with her twice: first to begin overall treatment and second, when first steps in treatment were unsuccessful. She was helpful to give me advice and guidance on where to go from there. She conducted my transvaginal ultrasound 3 times over the course of treatments. During these appointments, she was very busy, didn't communicate much and was in and out quickly. I did ask a few questions during this time, in which she was more vague with her answers.
The [Red Rock Fertility] clinic itself is state-of-the-art and very modern. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They are willing to help when you need. They are a busy office so appointment times can be affected by this...Timed Intercourse and associated medications were covered by my insurance. IVF is approximately $17,900 without medication.
