Attention to Detail

Attention to detail is on a 1 - 10 scale, and is scored based on the rate, and severity, of errors committed by the clinic according to the patients.

For example, a severe error might be failing to inform a patient of critical information, while a small error might be failing to call a patient with results.

CDC Success Rates

This is the most recent data from the CDC. The CDC cautions that it should not be used to compare doctors and clinics. This data represents the outcomes of IVF cycles when using a person's own eggs.

For more information please see our FAQs.

Where you see a “?” on the chart, a clinic has done fewer than 20 cycles in this category and age range, so the CDC says showing percentages from this small data set would be misleading and unreliable.

Dr. Sadaat always made sure I was completely aware of what was happening, and was very thorough in answering my questions most of the time...the monitoring appointments during the cycle were always with Dr. Saadat...I felt like I didn't get a consultation or explanation about why that happened and what we could do differently, we just launched into the next round of treatment.
The nursing staff [at Reproductive Fertility] is fantastic, especially at the Riverside office. They seem to remember everything about your case, and are so responsive answering questions. They are always very friendly and compassionate when you come into the office...Some strengths include the response time when you have questions, the offices being very clean and nice, and the availability of appointments.
How was your experience with Peyman Saadat at Reproductive Fertility?
Dr. Saadat is very good at his job - there were times I had concerns about my lining not being thick enough, not absorbing enough of the progesterone supplements, etc, and he always had a solution to change things up a bit. And when he did change things (for example my type of trigger shot) he took the time to explain why and how to use this new method. The only time I felt confused was after my chemical pregnancy. It must have been a really busy day, but I felt like I didn't get a consultation or explanation about why that happened and what we could do differently, we just launched into the next round of treatment.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Peyman Saadat at Reproductive Fertility?
Stay on top of asking questions, and if you feel like you didn't get to do so during your appointment, the clinic is great with following up when you call or send emails.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Peyman Saadat at Reproductive Fertility?
Dr. Sadaat always made sure I was completely aware of what was happening, and was very thorough in answering my questions most of the time. There were a few times that I felt confused by the information I was given though, and I had to follow up afterwards to clarify.
Describe the protocols Peyman Saadat used in your cycles at Reproductive Fertility and their degree of success.
The first IUI was done with a low dose of Clomid. I produced two mature follicles and used the Ovidrel trigger. I was also given progesterone vaginal suppositories to use after the IUI. This round was unsuccessful, but the donor sperm count was not very good. The second IUI cycle was done with a higher dose of Clomid, and again the Ovidrel trigger. I believe I had two mature follicles as well. This resulted in a chemical pregnancy. When I had my progesterone tested during the beta HCG testing, it was found to be on the low end, so I switched to injectible progesterone just before we found out the pregnancy was chemical. The third cycle was an even higher dose of Clomid, I believe I had 2 or 3 follicles, and used a different kind of Trigger (Pregnyl). I took the injectable progesterone and my levels were better, however the IUI was unsuccessful.

Describe your experience with Reproductive Fertility.
Some strengths include the response time when you have questions, the offices being very clean and nice, and the availability of appointments. I also liked how, except for one ultrasound because I didn't have time to travel to a different office, the monitoring appointments during the cycle were always with Dr. Saadat. The clinic has good success rates from what I've heard, so I'm hopeful it will happen for us. One thing I would ask them to improve on is it make sure to offer a sit down consultation after something like a chemical pregnancy, as not everyone understands what has happened and may need assurance about what to do going forward.
Describe the costs associated with your care under Peyman Saadat at Reproductive Fertility.
I paid out of pocket, about $1300 per IUI. The initial ultrasound during my consultation was also an extra $75.

When COVID-19 started out I wasn't contacted to rearrange an upcoming appointment. I understand that this is an unusual circumstance though.

Dr. Saadat is an amazing doctor. I have never felt rushed or like a number. He takes his time and is a great with communication. I have done 2 successful transfers with him. And would recommend him to anyone...has taken time to elaborate on answers to all mine and my husband's questions. We have never felt rushed...You will never be in the dark and always feel heard...there for you whenever you need anything.
I can't say enough good things about Reproductive Fertility. You never have to worry about not being able to get ahold of someone or being uncertain about what to expect. Everyone in the office makes you feel welcomed and like family. The only thing I would add for improvement would be to possibly establish a riverside office for embryo implanting. Their one in LA takes almost 3 hours to get to during traffic. When getting to riverside only takes around 30-40 mins.

Success w/ Doc Too early to know
Dr Saadat chooses his words carefully and doesn't pressure into treatment...has an assuring and calming presence...have seen him twice in person...spoke twice with him over the phone...suggests quite a long list of supplements. They are not patient specific...Gonal F, Menopur, Leuprolide, Medrol, doxycycline, tamoxifen, Provera. I did not discuss the strategy with Dr Saadat
[Reproductive Fertility] is a small clinic...no online patient portal to log into, review test results in, or make payments...have to call, make requests, and mail checks...you receive a much more persona, compassionate, and kind treatment...patient coordinator, Melissa, is an incredible asset to the team...helpful in figuring out financing options.
How was your experience with Peyman Saadat at Reproductive Fertility?
Dr Saadat chooses his words carefully and doesn't pressure into treatment. He has an assuring and calming presence. Thus far I have seen him twice in person for a consultation and tests, and spoke twice with him over the phone. Ultrasounds performed by him are done with female nurse chaperones in the room.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Peyman Saadat at Reproductive Fertility?
I highly recommend taking the courses at FertilityIQ before a consultation with any doctor. It is imperative to know what questions to ask. I had two consultations with Dr Saadat one year apart. After my initial attempt to wrap my head around the process of egg freezing and finding a clinic and doctor that I like, I was so overwhelmed, I had to take a break and focus on myself. I would have saved myself a whole year, had I educated myself first with objective information, which would have kept me grounded during unpleasant test results.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Peyman Saadat at Reproductive Fertility?
I have reached out to six clinics asking for statistics information on success rates for egg thawing and blast conversion. Out of those six, only two responded without requiring a paid consultation appointment to receive their success rates. Of those two, only one responded within a day (the second one took over two weeks to respond). Everyone at the Reproductive Fertility clinic has continued to be attentive to my questions, and I have never felt pressured to start treatment.
Describe the protocols Peyman Saadat used in your cycles at Reproductive Fertility and their degree of success.
Dr Saadat suggests quite a long list of supplements to take to improve the egg quality. They are not patient specific. I am not entirely comfortable with that approach, and will be modifying based on what I know I have a poor reaction to. Outside of that, for the egg freezing cycle, I was prescribed: Gonal F, Menopur, Leuprolide, Medrol, doxycycline, tamoxifen, Provera. I did not discuss the strategy with Dr Saadat. Once he comes up with the treatment protocol, he sends it to the nurse practitioner, and she forwards the prescription to the pharmacy.
Describe your experience with your nurse at Reproductive Fertility. (Assigned nurse: Silvia)
The nursing staff is pleasant to communicate with in person. So far, I have only communicated with Silvia over email. She is pleasant and responds to my numerous questions promptly.
Describe your experience with Reproductive Fertility.
This is a small clinic in comparison to some of the behemoths out there. As such, there is no online patient portal to log into, review test results in, or make payments. Instead you have to call, make requests, and mail checks. On the flip side of that, you receive a much more persona, compassionate, and kind treatment than is available out there. The patient coordinator, Melissa, is an incredible asset to the team. She is very helpful in figuring out financing options.
Describe the costs associated with your care under Peyman Saadat at Reproductive Fertility.
$10,500 for a single egg-freezing cycle $3381 for meds Additional costs for the initial consultation and tests

Dr. Goldstein is truly a concierge doctor. She made sure to explain every step along the way. She was available via email almost any time of day. Her overall demeanor was personable and genuine. She spent all the time you needed with her during appointments and it never felt rushed or hurried...Dr. Goldstein knew all the verbiage surrounding treatment of members of the LGBTQ community. She always treated me and my partner with respect and love
The [Reproductive Fertility] nursing staff is BUSY there. I would sometimes have to call and email multiple times about lab orders or protocol before I would get an answer..All of that being said, the ball never got dropped on me...The clinic is in a nice building in Beverly Hills. The surgical center where transfers are done and their labs are located in the same building so that was nice. Everything always seemed clean and sanitary.
How was your experience with Ellen Goldstein at Reproductive Fertility?
A woman in this field who is as humble, caring, brilliant and amazing as Dr. Goldstein is something I didn’t know existed. She is confident in her skills and puts it all out there for her patients. She also specializes in natural transfers which was a GOD SEND. After all the injections of the retrieval, the last thing I wanted to do was inject myself with an intramuscular needle for weeks. You will also always see her at your appointments (minus blood draw appointments). She is your person so there’s no way your information gets lost or miscommunicated. It’s also nice when you’re in such a vulnerable place to be able to see the same friendly face at each visit and not just feel like you don’t know who will be doing procedures that truly emphasize the vulnerability factor of infertility. As I may have stated in another section, Dr. Goldstein’s communication and ability to give a response in a timely matter is top notch. I emailed her at 7 pm one night during my nightly suppository because I had minor spotting and there was an email response within 10 minutes. Any time anything fell through with her nurses, she would just handle it herself. No question was ever too silly, no concern was ever too petty. She addressed all and any questions or concerns I had throughout the entirety of our treatment with compassion and fact based information. I never felt like she didn’t have my back.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Ellen Goldstein at Reproductive Fertility?
Trust her. She will not give you the runaround or try to squeeze you for extra services. She’s the real deal and has your best interest at heart.

Dr. Goldstein is truly a concierge doctor. She made sure to explain every step along the way. She was available via email almost any time of day. Her overall demeanor was personable and genuine. She spent all the time you needed with her during appointments and it never felt rushed or hurried.
Describe the protocols Ellen Goldstein used in your cycles at Reproductive Fertility and their degree of success.
I was on Gonal-F, Menopur and then eventually Centrotide for my egg retrieval stims. I used Lupron for my trigger shot. Dr. Goldstein was able to retrieve 31 eggs. Throughout the lab insemination process, the embryologist and Dr. Goldstein diagnosed me with low egg quality. We had already committed to PGS testing on the embryos so in the end 8 went in for testing and 4 came back as normal. For my FET I did a natural transfer cycle so the only meds I was on were Endometrin suppositories a little bit before the transfer. The natural transfer cycle did mean that I had to go into the office considerably more often, sometimes 3-4 times a week, to get my blood drawn and levels checked. Blood draws had to be done in the AM so results would be in same day. FET was normal but a bit uncomfortable due to the full bladder. Transfer went smoothly and now I am pregnant with our first IVF baby.
How competent was Ellen Goldstein at LGBTQ+ care?
Dr. Goldstein knew all the verbiage surrounding treatment of members of the LGBTQ community. She always treated me and my partner with respect and love. She also let us know certain extra legal steps we might want to take advantage of since both of our genetic material would not be used during our treatment.
Describe your experience with your nurse at Reproductive Fertility. (Assigned nurse: Kyra)
So. This would be my only negative part of this experience. The nursing staff is BUSY there. I would sometimes have to call and email multiple times about lab orders or protocol before I would get an answer. Often I would give up and email Dr. Goldstein who would take care of it personally. Nursing staff there was adequately nice most days but also almost always seemed overworked and tired. The one friendly face I could always count on was Gunay. Every interaction I had with her was a positive one and that surely could not be said about some of the other staff there. All of that being said, the ball never got dropped on me because Dr. Goldstein made sure of it.
Describe your experience with Reproductive Fertility.
The clinic is in a nice building in Beverly Hills. The surgical center where transfers are done and their labs are located in the same building so that was nice. Everything always seemed clean and sanitary.
Describe the costs associated with your care under Ellen Goldstein at Reproductive Fertility.
A complete IVF cycle totaled $20,175. That included her professional fee, Anesthesia, Operating room, ICSI, Assisted Hatching, Embryo biopsy, PGT test on up to 8 embryos, Cryopreservation (freeze) for any remaining embryos, Embryo thaw, and Frozen embryo transfer cycle.

Dr. Saadat is extremely kind and gentle...He is a calm, confident, but humble doctor that does everything with care, compassion, and full dedication for each patient. I have always seen him as a person that LOVES what he does and is always positive and hopeful. He makes you feel unique and important. He is an extraordinary, knowledgeable, and kind human being...He made the process feel so natural and simple, it gave me hope. I NEVER felt judged by Dr. Saadat, like I had with other doctors.
The [Reproductive Fertility] clinic is great. Small and personal. Not massive and overwhelming. You're never treated as a number here. The place is well organized and clean. Nobody seems stressed out or in a rush. The hallways of the building are not the most inviting, but once you cross Dr. Saadat's office doors, the place is well lit and inviting, with a great view of Sunset Blvd...I hope anybody struggling with infertility could find as caring a doctor as Doctor Peyman Saadat.

During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Peyman Saadat at Reproductive Fertility?
Dr. Saadat is extremely kind and gentle. The best bedside manners! He is always calm and happy, which gives you hope. He always has time to answer your questions even when he is super busy. He never makes you feel like he has no time for you. He saw a lesion on my uterus that was overlooked by a previous doctor. Once he removed that, he took the time to come back to the room and explain what he did, how he did it, and accompanied the explanation with the pictures he took during procedure. He goes through every detail of your treatment, thoroughly. His enthusiasm is contagious. I was nervous at first when I went to see him after many years of failed attempts at pregnancy at another clinic. He made the process feel so natural and simple, it gave me hope. I NEVER felt judged by Dr. Saadat, like I had with other doctors. There is not enough praise I can give about doctor Saadat. I am now pregnant with twins at my very first attempt with him and his wonderful personnel. He even gave me much less medications than other fertility clinics. It all seemed so fast and smooth. I hope anybody struggling with infertility could find as caring a doctor as Doctor Peyman Saadat.

I've done these treatments in other places before. His prices are average. Some things a bit more expensive, but worth every penny!
Describe Peyman Saadat's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at Reproductive Fertility.
Doctor Saadat chose what he considered best for me, but also took my feelings into account. I couldn't be happier with his decision.

Dr. Saadat always answered my questions completely. He was kind and explained everything that was going on as well every every step of the process. He did not ever make me feel rushed or that any of my questions were unacceptable. I saw him at every appointment...I am a surrogate. So the treatment included: heparin, injectable progesterone in oil, progesterone suppositories and estrogen tablets. We had a successful transfer the first try. Dr. Saadat always made sure I understood my medications and when to start/administer them.
I think that the strengths [of Reproductive Fertility] are that they are kind and very thorough. Every one there is very easy to talk to and makes the process so easy to walk through...Tasha was my coordinator and I could not imagine a better person to help me through this process. She was attentive, thorough, always available for any questions or concerns. Tasha made sure I was comfortable with any new information and always made sure that I knew if I had any questions how to get a hold of her.

Tasha was my coordinator and I could not imagine a better person to help me through this process. She was attentive, thorough, always available for any questions or concerns. Tasha made sure I was comfortable with any new information and always made sure that I knew if I had any questions how to get a hold of her. She was always very kind and I felt she went above and beyond.
Describe your experience with Reproductive Fertility.
I think that the strengths are that they are kind and very thorough. Every one there is very easy to talk to and makes the process so easy to walk through. I don’t know that I can pinpoint any weaknesses necessarily.
Describe Peyman Saadat's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at Reproductive Fertility.
We only transferred one embryo and it was successful.

[Dr. Goldstein] was kind, took time to explain everything and set realistic expectations given my body's limitations, and always answered questions quickly via email...The first cycle was cancelled due to a cyst, but it was gone the next month. I did 11 days of 150 iu Gonal-F plus 2 powder vials of Menopur per day, 4 days of Cetrotide at the end of the cycle to slow the bigger eggs, and got 10 eggs retrieved (9 frozen). The previous two cycles, I got 6 and 3, respectively, so this was a much better response.
[at Reproductive Fertility] I mostly worked with [the nurse], who was kind and great at calling with results, or explaining protocol patiently...$5800 for the retrieval and ultrasound appts; $3000 for the drugs...I would have liked more effort in figuring out why my insurance didn't cover this round of treatment when they had before, though I do think they tried...I'd also like there to be a payment plan to make it more accessible.
How was your experience with Ellen Goldstein at Reproductive Fertility?
Dr. Goldstein was the second doctor I went to in my fertility journey, and the experience was night and day different. She was kind, took time to explain everything and set realistic expectations given my body's limitations, and always answered questions quickly via email. I'm so sad it took me 3 cycles to find her - always go with your gut, and find another doctor if you don't feel like your first one cares enough!
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Ellen Goldstein at Reproductive Fertility?
No advice
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Ellen Goldstein at Reproductive Fertility?
Dr. Goldstein is clearly very invested in her patients and very involved in the cycle from start to finish.
Describe the protocols Ellen Goldstein used in your cycles at Reproductive Fertility and their degree of success.
I have diminished ovarian reserve, so we started hormone treatment on the first day of my period, after I came in for an ultrasound. The first cycle was cancelled due to a cyst, but it was gone the next month.

Describe your experience with Reproductive Fertility.
I would have liked more effort in figuring out why my insurance didn't cover this round of treatment when they had before, though I do think they tried. I saw that they didn't try to run it through insurance (as in, the $6k that I paid out of pocket isn't showing up against my out-of-network deductible). I'm calling my insurance tomorrow to try to figure it out. I'd also like there to be a payment plan to make it more accessible.
Describe the costs associated with your care under Ellen Goldstein at Reproductive Fertility.
$5800 for the retrieval and ultrasound appts; $3000 for the drugs, and still waiting on the anesthesia/procedure clinic bill. My insurance didn't cover this round at all.

Dr. Goldstein was absolutely fantastic the entire way through the process. From the initial consultation, where she clearly laid out our options with a frank and honest discussion, to all of the times we emailed her with question and she responded within minutes to hours rather than days...We never felt pressured into one treatment or another; she made it very clear she was there to support whatever we needed. When we had questions we could email or call her, and we received responses usually within an hour, and this was even after hours...
the clinic [Reproductive Fertility] was easy to find, clean and modern, and we were receiving ultrasounds weekly so we always knew what was going on with the babies. They also went out of their way to work with my insurance (as I had fertility benefits I was able to use)...The nursing staff was fantastic. There were two or three nurses that we saw with regularity, and each were attentive and helpful....
How was your experience with Ellen Goldstein at Reproductive Fertility?
Dr. Goldstein is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and very easy to talk to. We never felt pressured into one treatment or another; she made it very clear she was there to support whatever we needed. When we had questions we could email or call her, and we received responses usually within an hour, and this was even after hours. We could not have been more happy with our choice of doctor.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Ellen Goldstein at Reproductive Fertility?
Go with Dr. Goldstein. She was fantastic and very willing to answer all questions we had. It is extremely obvious she valued us as people, not just as a source of income.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Ellen Goldstein at Reproductive Fertility?
Dr. Goldstein was absolutely fantastic the entire way through the process. From the initial consultation, where she clearly laid out our options with a frank and honest discussion, to all of the times we emailed her with question and she responded within minutes to hours rather than days, she was great. If we were to go through a second round we would absolutely go with Dr. Goldstein again.
Describe the protocols Ellen Goldstein used in your cycles at Reproductive Fertility and their degree of success.
The primary issue we had with getting pregnant was male factor infertility. Dr. Goldstein's examination of my wife showed no problems on her side, and that we were ideal candidates for IVF (while my sperm count was a bit low, it was well over what was needed for IVF). She offered IUI, but given our ages we opted for the highest chance of success with IVF. She used a natural cycle approach, so we timed the medication the injectable medication in accordance to when her last cycle was. While taking the full round of injections we visited Dr. Goldstein at least twice a week for ultrasounds (which she herself conducted) and blood testing. At all times we could tell how the eggs were growing where she was. After the "trigger shot", there was the egg retrieval, which again was done by Dr. Goldstein. The eggs were fertilized and frozen in preparation for my wife's next cycle (again, in accordance with her natural cycle approach). A couple weeks (I believe) after the next cycle, we went back in for the transfer. Again, Dr. Goldstein did this. I was able to join my wife in the room while this happened, and she even provided us a picture of the embryo prior to implantation. After the transfer, we continued following up with Dr. Goldstein, and we were scheduled to come back into the office to test and see if the transfer was successful. My wife and I were very excited though so we took at home test -- success. We emailed Dr. Goldstein, and she replied within a few minutes (which was typical for her) with a very excited email and we moved up the visit to confirm. The first ultrasound that occurred after this period we were in for a surprise. Though Dr. Goldstein had implanted only one embryo, there were now two babies growing. Dr. Goldstein had been very clear that there was an increased chance for this to happen prior to the beginning of treatment due to "assisted hatching". Throughout the first 10 weeks after implantation Dr. Goldstein continued to have us come in weekly to check on their growth As we continued through the 10 weeks, we also did a genetic screening test using my wife's blood (non-invasive for the babies) and the results came back that they were genetically normal and that they were identical baby boys. Dr. Goldstein was always careful to check with us before she told us the sex to ensure we wanted to know. After the 10 weeks, we transferred to the OB doctor who will be delivering the twins.
Describe your experience with the nursing staff at Reproductive Fertility.
The nursing staff was fantastic. There were two or three nurses that we saw with regularity, and each were attentive and helpful.
Describe your experience with Reproductive Fertility.
I honestly don't know of any weaknesses. The only doctor we saw at the clinic was Dr. Goldstein, so I can't speak to the other doctors' competencies. However, the clinic was easy to find, clean and modern, and we were receiving ultrasounds weekly so we always knew what was going on with the babies. They also went out of their way to work with my insurance (as I had fertility benefits I was able to use).
Describe the costs associated with your care under Ellen Goldstein at Reproductive Fertility.
I believe it was about $20K for the full freeze / transfer cycle and associated medications. However, I had an absolutely amazing fertility benefit called Progyny so my portion was only around $2K.
Describe Ellen Goldstein's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at Reproductive Fertility.
Dr. Goldstein had all the embryos tested and ranked according to how well developed they were. Her strong opinion was that we start out with only one embryo transfer, and so this is what we did. The embryo that we chose was the "healthiest" one available.

Dr. Goldstein took a thorough history for both me and my husband, and explained well to us what could be contributing to our recurrent miscarriages. How was your experience with Ellen Goldstein at Reproductive Fertility?
Dr. Goldstein took a thorough history for both me and my husband, and explained well to us what could be contributing to our recurrent miscarriages. She ran tests on what she thought were all necessary rule outs (noting that the likelihood was simply poor egg quality, but testing for other possibilities) without testing for things that she thought were frivolous--though I got the impression that she would run other tests if I requested them. We made the decision to do IVF with eggs I had frozen a few years ago, and she explained what that process and all the risks would be for that. However, during the process of getting started with those eggs, I got pregnant again. I emailed her on a Sunday to tell her--but I was not hopeful at all given our history. She was immediately responsive, and positive but not annoyingly so given my emotional state. I asked her if I should use progesterone supplements because I'd read about that for women with recurrent miscarriages. She said she did not think there was evidence that I needed it yet and I should get tested for HCG/progesterone the next day, but offered to write the prescription anyway if it would help me feel better because it wouldn't hurt. I've never experienced that from a doctor before--I've been told no each time I asked an OB. I took her up on the offer and started the sups, and did HCG beta testing the next day. She called me personally with results as soon as they came in. Because the pregnancy seems viable so far, we paused on the process for IVF but are keeping the door open. I didn't feel any pressure from her to press forward with the embryo making...I've felt supported the whole way, and if this doesn't go positively, she is someone I would feel incredibly safe doing the next step of this process with.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Ellen Goldstein at Reproductive Fertility?
Dr. Goldstein addressed my feelings about having had recurrent pregnancy losses, and while she explained the statistics to me and the likelihood of different outcomes with IVF, she was attuned to how my grief/anxiety might impact my choices just as much as the data. She was responsive at all times, gentle, validating, and patient.
Describe your experience with your nurse at Reproductive Fertility. (Assigned nurse: Lizette)
Lizette was kind and responsive to emails. We never met in person. Her emails were a bit hard to understand, and we had to call for clarification a couple of times. She seemed to assume we knew more about the process/necessary steps than we did, but explained things in more detail when we asked her specifically. When we requested medical records she was quick to respond, and when we needed tests ordered she got us the slips right away.
Describe your experience with Reproductive Fertility.
The clinic is beautiful, clean, and in a great building. They do blood draws in house, though they send them to quest for results so it's easy enough to go to quest if you prefer. Front desk staff is kind, responsive, and friendly. Parking was easy--there's a garage that you can pay for, but we were amazingly able to find parking on sunset. We saw the doctor herself and not nursing staff in her place. It was as great an experience as something like this can be.
What specific things went wrong at Reproductive Fertility?
  • Lost results
Describe the specific things that went wrong at Reproductive Fertility.
Both my husband and I had a blood test for our karyotypes, STDs, and about a million other things for me but only those two for him...we were waiting for results and eventually were told that the order for his karyotype test had somehow not been logged in the system so Quest never got results for us. It wouldn't have been a huge deal other than he's afraid of needles so getting him to do another blood draw is an uphill battle!

I saw him [Dr. Peyman Saadat] at every visit, he was gentle and compassionate and understanding and very patient - I had multiple quesitons and sometimes i was asking the same questions each visit and he always had time to talk and explain and keep us involved every step of the way...adjusted the medication dosage during my 2nd cycle based on whatever he saw in my monitoring labs. In addition, he added an infusion on the day of transfer, which noone else suggested. Whatever he did was successful, we are pregnant and I am due in a few months!!
The amazing thing about this office [Reproductive Fertility] is that it is small enough that you will see the doctor every visit, and the same faces every visit, but big enough to have the most up to date knowledge and techniques, as well as using a new state of the art embryology lab in the same building...come early to your appointments to find street parking...
How was your experience with Peyman Saadat at Reproductive Fertility?
As i mentioned, I have been to a couple of other offices prior to coming here and my experience was completely different with Dr. Saadat. I saw him at every visit, he was gentle and compassionate and understanding and very patient - I had multiple quesitons and sometimes i was asking the same questions each visit and he always had time to talk and explain and keep us involved every step of the way.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Peyman Saadat at Reproductive Fertility?
My best advice is to do your research - there is a reason that Dr. Saadat has so many 5 star reviews. One other bit of advice - come early to your appointments to find street parking ;)

Dr Goldstein used as little medication as possible and worked to meet my timing needs for the IVF cycle and retrieval. She also was able to meet my needs and special accommodations due to my anxiety and PTSD...She carefully monitored and titrated my medications throughout my more complicated IVF cycle to ensure that I did not get PCOS. She called and checked in on my multiple times throughout the process. Any concerns and she made the time to talk it through with me
The [Reproductive Fertility] practice is great and timely but I feel that they often don’t get back as quickly as I wished. So I found that emailing Dr Ellen Goldstein was just faster...~$21,000 for IVF cycle Not sure of the IUI but it was about 175 for ultrasound and consultation...They are very nice and always were caring and sensitive. I never felt that they were grouchy and always felt welcome.
How was your experience with Ellen Goldstein at Reproductive Fertility?
Dr Goldstein is attentive to every detail. She is careful and calculated and I trust her medical decisions completely. She carefully monitored and titrated my medications throughout my more complicated IVF cycle to ensure that I did not get PCOS. She called and checked in on my multiple times throughout the process. Any concerns and she made the time to talk it through with me. She was always professional and pleasant at each appointment. Dr Goldstein is always available and I didn’t need to search google for answers because she was always right there with the answer and a return email was often received faster than any google search would have even answered it! She really cares about me as a person and I feel deeply connected. She is part of my team, rooting for me and working with me step by step in this emotional journey. I couldn’t have done this without her (she was the 3rd provider I tried) and thankfully I found her! Every practice has its strengths and I feel that Dr Ellen is the perfect mix of all! Superb medical knowledge and understanding of statistics mixed with the human and faith aspect of knowing that we will do all we can and hope is never lost as it will only take one embryo to have your miracle. And she really gave me hope and continues to. Hopefully we will have our baby soon.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Ellen Goldstein at Reproductive Fertility?
Dr Goldstein was so supportive of me and my husband and gave us all the time in the world that we needed in our initial consultation - highly recommend that you meet with her for an in person consultation! She also is careful about how much of each medication she orders and she watches her spending carefully so that you pay the minimum needed for a successful IVF cycle. If anything comes up, email has been the easiest way for us to reach Dr Goldstein and also by far the fastest.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Ellen Goldstein at Reproductive Fertility?
While being treated by Dr Goldstein I really feel like she takes the time to talk to me, answer all emails, share my emotions and discuss the depths of whatever comes up in this process. She was willing to adjust and work with me in ways no other Dr was able - such as adjusting my timing of treatment to avoid Saturdays as much as possible for religious observances, she made adaptations to the typical procedures to accommodate for my needs as a result of my PTSD, she answered emails and call late at night and was available at a drop of a hat when things were confusing or unclear during the IVF cycle. She tracked all my cycle and meds as a human and I felt like I was her only patient!

I had my consultation with Dr. Goldstein who instead of diving into statistics or the numbers, started by getting to know me as a human including why I was pursuing this path, where I was at in life, what kind of support I had throughout the upcoming process, etc and she tailored her care and support to match. The "data" and numbers came only after there was an established mutual respect and trust that she cared about ME. Parking is a bit annoying and can get expensive but you can sometimes find street parking if you plan ahead. The front desk/billing department responding in a timely manner and my experiences were fine, however, there were times with other patients who I presume were in more sensitive situations than I, that I felt the compassion and care Dr Goldstein and Gunay show wasn't quite there and that at times, they were treated simply as a person who owes a bill. while this doesn't impede the care in any way, it's something to be aware of and be sure that you fully understand the pricing and terms. Read the contract thoroughly. I did and did not have any questions or issues but this is the only area where I witnessed some area of concern or question.
How was your experience with Ellen Goldstein at Reproductive Fertility?
Dr. Goldstein's communication and bedside manner are unmatched. She has this way of putting you at ease. She has genuine care and compassion and adjusts treatment based on what's best for you, understanding it's not always the outcome or information you want to hear. In my first cycle, I was not responding to the medication as we had anticipated. At my consult, I had I believe 17 follicles showing. On day 5, I had only 9 follicles and they were all growing very small. She expressed I might be a rare case that she might recommend cancelling. Because finances were not an issue for me regarding medication, she encouraged us to wait two more days to see the results and for me to de-stress as much as possible. I did and when I came back, my numbers had made a pretty significant rebound. We did have to adjust my number of days of stimulation but we ultimately ended up with 12 frozen eggs. Going from a potential cancellation to 12 eggs was just incredible and I'm thankful for her expertise and glad we held out. I wanted to do two back to back cycles but my numbers just weren't looking great so while we could have in theory proceeded, she advised me to wait and give myself a break. While disappointing, I appreciated her advice and the second cycle eventually occurred with another round of success.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Ellen Goldstein at Reproductive Fertility?
Come prepared with your questions, but don't stress if you don't know what to ask. She will educate you every step of the way and you can trust she's not out to just get money. She will always recommend what's best for you, but also understands this is a physical, mental, and financially tolling process. Based on your needs in each of those spaces, she will tailor her approach to how you address if things don't go as planned. I no longer live in LA but would happily fly back if I do another round or need to go through IVF in the future - she's that good.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Ellen Goldstein at Reproductive Fertility?
Dr. Goldstein has the most incredible bedside manner of any doctor I have ever met. This is NOT an exaggeration. Fertility decisions are never easy, whether you're faced with the unexpected or are trying to plan. It is an extremely personal process with a physical and emotional toll. I left the consultation feeling truly empowered and that she was going to be by my side the entire way. And I was right. My first injection was scheduled to be the day their office shut down due to the Pandemic in the early days in Mar 2020. The devastation and unknowns were heartbreaking (especially as a single woman) but she helped level with me and I felt tremendously supported during a time of uneasiness for everyone. She checked in over the coming weeks just to see how I was doing and update me on the latest and when we got the green light to move forward again, she was ready. This time I had less support than I had anticipated due to the pandemic and again, as a single woman, I felt like she was the emotional support I needed. I didn't just feel like I had a knowledgeable practitioner, I felt like I had a friend who genuinely cared about me and looking back, I can't imagine having gone through this process with some of the dr's my friends have used. She performed every one of my ultrasounds, called with all of my results, always made sure I was knowledgeable about my levels, how many follicles I had, what sizes they were, and most importantly, educated me continuously at each and every visit. I never once felt lost or in the dark about what was to come and I know so much more about fertility in general thanks to her. When I went to do my second cycle, my body wasn't ready and she found the best way to share the news that I should take a break. We could have pushed forward but she wanted the best results for me. When I did resume for the second cycle after a short break, she carefully considered the adjustments we would make and I had another positive outcome.
Describe the protocols Ellen Goldstein used in your cycles at Reproductive Fertility and their degree of success.
First round: Birth Control Menopur Gonal F Cetrotide Novarel Second round (I think this is what I took - might be off on one of these): No birth control (it suppressed my ovaries too much) Menopur Gonal F Lupron Pregnyl Rationale for changing up the second round is that the birth control seemed to suppress my ovaries and my eggs were not all grow at the same size (there was one too large from very early on). The second round, all my eggs grew at the appropriate sizes and together. We suspect the stress of Covid, BLM, and having to start/stop treatment and unknowns related to covid played a factor in my slightly lower than expected numbers (when I destressed, numbers went up). She also recommended some great therapists to speak with since I was suddenly alone, in lockdown, doing this challenging alone. I found an incredible and experienced fertility therapist who really helped as well.
Describe your experience with your nurse at Reproductive Fertility. (Assigned nurse: Gunay)
Gunay was absolutely incredible. My pharmacy told me that her notes regarding my prescription were the most clear, detailed notes they'd ever seen! She was incredibly timely in responding with any questions that I had and ensuring I understood everything Dr. Goldstein stated. She was always the last person I spoke with before leaving the office. She had an equally warm and compassionate bedside manner and approach. There were other nurses who did my blood draw and while my interactions were minimal, all were friendly and helped distract me (I'm terrified of needles). Gunay and Dr. Goldstein are a power couple in my opinion.

Dr. Goldstein took the time to ensure that my husband and I were active participants in our care. She completed a very thorough diagnostic workup that covered all bases. She discovered a small amount of scar tissue in my uterus, and recommended a hysteroscopy to remove it. My husband and felt comfortable and confident going into the surgery, and it went beautifully. After the hysteroscopy, we decided we wanted to pursue IVF, and Dr. Goldstein walked us through what the process would look like. She provided expert medical recommendations, but never pushed us in a specific direction. The office [Reproductive Fertility] is beautiful, and the staff was always welcoming and helpful. It's a comfortable place. All interactions I have had here have been lovely, and I'd highly recommend it. Our IVF cycle was very successful, and thanks to Dr. Goldstein’s communication and compassion, I felt at ease and comfortable throughout the entire process. How was your experience with Ellen Goldstein at Reproductive Fertility?
My husband and I sought treatment from Dr. Goldstein after experiencing our third consecutive miscarriage. We were heartbroken, exhausted, anxious - all the feelings that accompany loss of this magnitude. Dr. Goldstein gave us hope, and helped me to find the courage necessary to continue our journey. I am so deeply thankful to have found her, and cannot emphasize enough how comfortable I was throughout my IVF journey thanks to her outstanding care. Her communication was exemplary; far above and beyond that of any other physician I’ve had. Dr. Goldstein personally responded to all inquiries quickly, including those I had on evenings and weekends. She also proactively reached out with frequent updates so we were always very well informed about where we were in the process. Dr. Goldstein and her office were also flexible, and I was always able to find an appointment time that worked well with my schedule. Dr. Goldstein truly made my husband and I feel like valued members of a team throughout our treatment process. From day one, she ensured we felt comfortable and confident in our understanding of our diagnosis and subsequent treatment. She is extremely accessible and lightning fast in her responses to any inquiries we had. We always felt valued, prioritized, and included every step of the way. We both feel incredibly lucky to have found such a dedicated, knowledgable and compassionate physician to care for us on our journey.

How was your experience with Amy Dhesi at Reproductive Fertility?
Dr. Dhesi has a wonderful bedside manner and spent as much time as we needed during each visit (we always had lots of questions). She was straightforward with us, as requested, and gave us as much information as she had. We especially appreciated her telling us when she didn't have clear-cut answers -- she consulted with other doctors and literature to get us more information. She told us about current research data and percentages but would also give us her opinion when we asked, which we greatly valued. Our situation was a tough one where the diagnosis wasn't clear. At times, it seemed to be one thing, at other times another. Multiple doctors disagreed based on our ultrasounds and other factors. Dr. Dhesi did the best that she could for our tough situation, and we wholeheartedly recommend her. Our only criticism is that at the time we started seeing her (2017), she may have been less experienced than others who have a decades-long wealth of knowledge. But that is not a criticism of her skills or ability. She stays up to date with current research, which gives her an advantage over older doctors who may have become complacent. And she is absolutely trustworthy. She's one of the best doctors we've ever had, and because of that, we stuck with her throughout our multiple ordeals and setbacks.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Amy Dhesi at Reproductive Fertility?
Dr. Dhesi has a wonderful bedside manner. Always spent as much time as we needed to explain and answer questions. She was straightforward with information so we could be objective as possible about our situation while also maintaining a sense of deep caring.
Describe your experience with your nurse at Reproductive Fertility. (Assigned nurse: Lizette Vasquez)
The nurses and other staff were all great to work with. Responsive, friendly.
Describe your experience with Reproductive Fertility.
We saw Dr. Dhesi at both Kaiser Permanente (LA Medical Center) and at Reproductive Fertility Center (aka RFC WEHO, aka Peyman Sadaat clinic in West Hollywood). The following is about the latter, since that is where we did our IVF. Reproductive Fertility Center was good in every way except one: billing. In our initial visit, we were handed off to Melissa, who explained the expected costs. She was friendly and seemed knowledgeable. We therefore thought she was involved with the billing. Not so. After we started the process, I called Melissa with questions about billing and was transferred to a woman named ILINCA HALFORN, who I must vehemently recommend against. I'm still not sure what Melissa's job was -- to explain the billing with a friendly face but to not actually have any responsibility with or for it? As for Ilinca, it wasn't just her general lack of friendliness; it was the antagonistic attitude with which she approached every single one of my questions. We are not difficult people, so when someone stops us mid-sentence before even get to our question and instead immediately takes an air of blaming us, as if "how dare you question me," we knew were in the presence of someone who hated her job. She took everything that was wonderful about the spirit and general operations of the clinic and staff and dragged all of that down to the worst possible level of experience. She left a seriously bad taste in our mouths. Worst of all, on top of being a bad apple in the entire wonderful barrel, is that she directly stood in our way as a threat to our receiving professional, friendly service. Please keep in mind that we paid every charge on time. We just had no ability to do anything other than placate and stroke her ego because she had the ability to derail us. We got the feeling that the staff there felt the same about her but also had no power to do anything. In what was already a heightened emotional journey, we found ourselves having to additionally mentally prepare for any interaction with her to make sure that we were not setting her off in any way. So what was the first question that started all of this? I asked linca for an itemized receipt of one of our large payments. The only receipts we got had their clinic and a dollar amount, which essentially says nothing. She seemed to have no idea why I would want such a thing and never provided one. We were lucky that our insurance covered some IVF costs -- however, whether or not it was Ilinca's doing -- we never got any breakdowns of costs associated with any procedures. These things I had to get from our insurance, and at some point we were just informed that we hit our insurance benefit maximum. It's possible that our procedures did add up to that maximum, but since I could never get any answers to any of the billing, including abnormalities with certain billing codes and certain tests that were farmed out to third party labs, it's not beyond reasonable suspicion to think that she simply billed our insurance as much as possible right up to that maximum regardless of the actual costs. I've never before dealt with any medical facility like this that did not provide even a minimal amount of satisfactory billing documentation. I must repeat that we still very much liked the rest of the staff and everyone else we encountered. But if you're considering Reproductive Fertility Center, please ask carefully about the billing, who is handling it, and if you will get itemized receipts.

Describe Amy Dhesi's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at Reproductive Fertility.
Transferred only one embryo at a time. Our problem has not been achieving pregnancy, but rather, recurrent pregnancy loss. Transferring multiple embryos could have resulted in twins/triplets, which could increase chance of miscarriage.

How was your experience with Peyman Saadat at Reproductive Fertility?
Dr. Saadat did all of my ultrasounds so I could ask questions easily during my appointments. (I had a different clinic where only ultrasound techs did ultrasounds and most would tell you nothing during your appointment and you have to wait for the doctor to review and call you before you know anything.) I often thought of questions as I was walking out and he would answer them. Dr. Saadat can also speak by phone if you call the office and set a time.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Peyman Saadat at Reproductive Fertility?
Make sure you understand his schedule as he is only in certain locations once a week so if you are choosing him based on location, you may be driving to the main office in West Hollywood more than you expect.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Peyman Saadat at Reproductive Fertility?
Dr. Saadat is always available for a quick chat, and recognizes you when you come in despite a very busy office.
Describe the protocols Peyman Saadat used in your cycles at Reproductive Fertility and their degree of success.
Mine was some sort of micro dose lupron flare with a high dose of Gonal-F (375 or 300 daily), Menopur (1 vial) and microdose lupron. I started out very slow and my cycle was potentially going to be canceled because I was not responding to the medications initially. Eventually I had 7 follicles but my estradiol was still low at retrieval and I had just 3 mature eggs. For a second cycle, Dr Saadat was going to change up the whole protocol to get a different response, but I didn’t end up doing a second cycle.
Describe your experience with the nursing staff at Reproductive Fertility.
My primary nurse changed during my cycle. Both were very nice, but seemed incredibly busy. Not sure if they are overworked or have too many patients but I sometimes felt like I was bothering them. As the cycle progressed and I developed a relationship with them, it improved.
Describe your experience with Reproductive Fertility.
There are several different locations but most monitoring and all procedures will happen in West Hollywood. If you have to go for monitoring on a certain day, you may be asked to drive further than you would expect (e.g., the doctor is only in ______ location today)
Describe the costs associated with your care under Peyman Saadat at Reproductive Fertility.

Describe the specific things that went wrong at Reproductive Fertility.
Test results from either my or my husband’s files were missing or not requested so there was a stressful scramble right before the cycle was due to begin that didn’t need to happen. I was told if the results didn’t come in from the other doctors that my cycle would be postponed so I had to track down all of the records myself.

How was your experience with Ellen Goldstein at Reproductive Fertility?
After we saw Dr. Ellen, we became pregnant two times on our own without medical intervention and sadly suffered devastating miscarriages at 8 and 13 weeks respectively. Dr. Ellen was consistently involved, present, and intimately involved with the entire care team to review results and develop a course of action for both my reproductive future and my health. Following the second miscarriage, Ellen successfully diagnosed me as suffering from a rare condition known as anti-phospholipid syndrome. With that she developed treatment options while also providing an immensely caring resource to help my husband and I through this tragic period. She was warm and emotionally involved throughout my entire medical saga using her emotional intelligence and vast medical knowledge.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Ellen Goldstein at Reproductive Fertility?
I would unconditionally recommend Dr. Ellen Goldstein to any patient who is looking for a charismatic, exceptionally bright, and compassionate doctor to handle the most complicated of medical cases. She is highly trained, incredibly experienced, and approaches each patient with the utmost determination. I would advise all of her patients to approach Dr. Ellen with an open transparent attitude and a cooperative desire to build their team for their reproductive future.

Dr. Ellen was exemplary in all capacities. We arrived to Dr. Ellen with unexplained infertility after trying for over a year. Ellen undertook thorough diagnostics of both myself and my partner in order to develop a treatment plan. She was consistently on top of information, compassionate, and extremely accessible. Following the results of her meticulous studies, she recommended treatment with IUI and clomid. However we finally got pregnant on our own.
Describe the protocols Ellen Goldstein used in your cycles at Reproductive Fertility and their degree of success.
We started to get pregnant on our own following our workup and Ellen's close monitoring. Sadly for our case of unexplained fertility and recurrent pregnancy loss stemming from undiagnosed LUPUS, anti-phospholipid syndrome, and what would later become the most severe form of preeclampsia, HELP syndrome in which I lost my 3rd pregnancy and nearly died. Had it not been for Ellen, I would have died. She was the leader of of OBGYN team, and was constantly involved with 65 specialists from 15 specialties at UCLA Ronald Reagan as they fought for my life. Even as I spent 7 days in ICU, Dr. Ellen was constantly involved, watching my medical data and providing feedback, leadership, and support to my family and husband as I was incapacitated.

Success w/ Doc Too early to know
Has the personal touch! Calls you directly. You can feel that he [Dr. Jabara] feels your pain. When we miscarried he cried and was as upset as we were. He doesn't talk down to you. He gives you all the time in the world so you must be patient. But you're entrusting your future children in his hands so get to know him. He provides you his cell phone and answers your calls!! Weekends as well. He is a great communicator via text, email and calls.
Clean and classy location. Parking can be tricky but with early 6:45a appointments it isn't too bad. They [Reproductive Fertility Center] offer water and coffee and the restrooms offer feminine supplies that are much needed during treatment.... They have a big caseload and office to manage. Sometimes you have to remind them of what you need.... Surgery center for egg collection was around $42,000 and doctor costs were around $10,000. FET was $4000. Assisted hatching is $600.

What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Sami Jabara at Reproductive Fertility?
Be patient as he does run behind but he's worth it!!
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Sami Jabara at Reproductive Fertility?
Remembers you and your history. Speaks to you like an adult and not a child. Always is warm and kind and doesn't rush you.
Describe the protocols Sami Jabara used in your cycles at Reproductive Fertility and their degree of success.
Dr Jabara took everything into consideration when making our plan. He just didn't give us the cookie cutter plan and send us on our way. He talked things out with you and gave you choices. He admits when things didn't go as planned. He didn't back down on stims since he knew we had a once per lifetime coverage. I was safe the entire time but we baked as many eggs as we could.

As mentioned before the nursing staff are overwhelmed and need reminding sometimes. I've had to call twice for medication refills and also call twice to speak with the billing department

Dr. Goldstein takes the time to fully explain risks, process and outcomes. She is very empathetic, and sympathetic to my needs as a woman, and my uneasiness with medical procedures. She is also very good about following up and checking in with me, on a fertility level and a personal level....She took the time to walk us through the benefits of freezing our embryos to do a natural cycle transfer. And she personally calls to check in when needed.
The clinic [Reproductive Fertility Center] had flexible hours and were able to accommodate our schedule and work needs. The have a clean facility. The staff is generally friendly and kind. Some of the clinic paperwork was hard to follow and not filed correctly so we had to fill it out again- so just be diligent while going through the consents, bills, etc. ...We had a lot of miscommunications with our first clinic nurse, because of which, we were given a new nurse. The first nurse lost some paperwork and failed to call us with results of one blood work lab.
How was your experience with Ellen Goldstein at Reproductive Fertility?
I have had a generally good experience overall. Even with all the stresses with the ups and downs of IVF, Dr. Goldstein has done a good job keeping our expectations real and stress to a manageable level. My egg retrieval went smoothly, and we had a successful transfer. She took the time to walk us through the benefits of freezing our embryos to do a natural cycle transfer. And she personally calls to check in when needed.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Ellen Goldstein at Reproductive Fertility?
Just be patient and try to keep stress to a minium

Describe the protocols Ellen Goldstein used in your cycles at Reproductive Fertility and their degree of success.
A discussion of doing a frozen transfer vs a fresh transfer, of which we chose a frozen transfer. Dr. Goldstein wanted to be careful to avoid hyperstimulated ovaries. We froze 10 embryos, then did a transfer a month later during a natural cycle using a ovalution kit. She walked us through the process, and we liked how most of the IVF drugs would be out of my system for the transfer.
Describe your experience with the nursing staff at Reproductive Fertility.
We had to change nurses a half way through our first IVF cycle because we were getting poor communication with the nurse. Once we were given a new nurse we had better communication and things went more smoothly. The nurses were attentive and good at taking labs. Phone calls and email follow-ups were a little delayed at some points in the process.

Some of the clinic paperwork was hard to follow and not filed correctly so we had to fill it out again- so just be diligent while going through the consents, bills, etc. Some of the wait times were long during the early morning appointments, but for the most part the clinic is efficient.
Describe the costs associated with your care under Ellen Goldstein at Reproductive Fertility.
Our fees and costs were itemized: Doctor fees, medications, labs fees, egg retrieval, embryo creation, freezing, hatching, transfer
Describe Ellen Goldstein's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at Reproductive Fertility.
Dr. Goldstein has a strong preference for single embryo transfers given my age (35) and desire for one child. She said we can talk about 2 embryo transfers if we have trouble with implantation or carrying, at a later date if we choose.

With Dr. Goldstein, she made us feel like we were a priority. She was honest with us, but we also felt like there was still hope. She was readily available to us if we had any questions.... I have already recommended Dr. Goldstein to friends. She was compassionate and professional. We always felt comfortably asking questions and she put our fears at ease. We always felt that no question was dumb and that we could rely on her to do what was best for our infertility case.
Great facility [Reproductive Fertility]. Clean and professional. We had no issues with the clinic. They made sure that we were taken care of. We were in and out quickly for appointments. The facility was decorated nicely. The only inconvenience was trying to find parking....The nursing staff was great overall! They were responsive to questions and compassionate as well.... Total cost including surgery for my husband, medication, egg retrieval, and embryo transfer came out around $20,000.

Dr. Goldstein wanted to do one embryo transfer because I am young and I did not have the fertility issues. She also said that transferring multiple embryos did not increase the odds of a successful transfer.

He [Dr. Saadat] did talk about my ultrasounds while i was there but didnt really understand it...This was my first time ever getting my fertility tested, at the age of 36 i was nervous. It was clear, but it was somewhat routine, i dont entirely understand the results, lacked some detail. I emailed asking for my results bit have no idea what they mean looking at it myself so i do feel a little hazing in terms of what they are it was very quick in and out
Slow to reply to questions via email. Had to call up to get results to which they couldnt give me answers to the questions i had. Again felt very routine for them, maybe forgetting that since they know everything patients need it explained more in depth and simply...It was $300 which i expected.’i had researched and found this was the general Price

First we tried egg retrival with genetic testing [with Dr. Ellen Goldstein]. It didnt work out. So she suggested we try fresh transfer the second time. And thats when it worked for us...She was very candid and straight forward. She even gave us her personal phone number to reach her at anytime...She was very informative. Her knowledge was very good. She offered us different options. She was very attentive to us. She made sure we were confortable trying treatments. She was very punctual. She made sure we understood everything.
Clinic parking was very expensive [at Reproductive Fertility], however their was plenty parking on the street. Clinic was very clean nice, fancy and confortable to be at. They do the retrieval in the same building. Definitely would recommend the clinic as a good place to go...They were always making sure we were ok. And were very caring to making us feel confortable
