Attention to Detail

Attention to detail is on a 1 - 10 scale, and is scored based on the rate, and severity, of errors committed by the clinic according to the patients.

For example, a severe error might be failing to inform a patient of critical information, while a small error might be failing to call a patient with results.

CDC Success Rates

This is the most recent data from the CDC. The CDC cautions that it should not be used to compare doctors and clinics. This data represents the outcomes of IVF cycles when using a person's own eggs.

For more information please see our FAQs.

Where you see a “?” on the chart, a clinic has done fewer than 20 cycles in this category and age range, so the CDC says showing percentages from this small data set would be misleading and unreliable.

Dr Jain remembers details of my life and aspects important to my care without me having to remind him. He genuinely cares about his patients....Dr. Jain has always been honest and upfront with us. He answers ours questions directly/bluntly but also with compassion. He always makes me Feel at ease. I have issues with my cervix which makes IUI and other procedures more difficilt than normal. He always takes his time and makes sure I am Comfortable.
Overall we are very happy with the clinic [Reproductive Gyn- Westerville]. Strengths: friendly, compassionate, care about privacy. Only weakness is it is hard to get in touch via telephone... I always have to leave a message. Someone does always call back the same day.... Compassionate, respectful, able to answer questions thoroughly... Dr Jain remembers details of my life and aspects important to my care without me having to remind him.

H [Dr. Jain] sat with me, answered my questions and had a plan very quickly....He was friendly and funny, but was distracted when we when in for the ultrasound, sending a text message without explanation or apology. He didn't acknowledge the discomfort of the procedure, but was very open with results, and reassuring of the findings....Be prepared for a blunt experience, but he is friendly, open and honest. You won't feel like a number- he remembers his patients.
The nurses [Repro Gyn] explained options, testing and what to expect. They were kind and friendly, compassionate and genuine....Scheduling is easy, everything is explained up front, and they are very aware of how to work with insurance companies. The staff are terrific, and available to answer questions readily. I felt seen and valued, and felt I could ask questions as needed.... office staff are terrific, very compassionate and friendly.

Very kind doctor [Dr. David Nash], just uses a standard formula for patients instead of listening to their cycle. I was also reminded of my age way too often...Dr Nash is very knowledgeable and compassionate towards his patients...[Protocal] Call on cycle day 1, go for baseline and blood work. Get meds. Go for mid cycle ultrasound. Trigger shot. IUI. 2 week wait.
All the nurses [at Reproductive Gynecology] were very nice...This office billed my insurance and then I paid them monthly for the remainder costs...I recommend RGI for basic fertility needs for young couples. If you’re over 35, single and needing advanced fertility needs this is probably not the clinic for you. Personalized care. Able to banter ideas with Dr Jain...He took the time to review my charts from the previous doctor then developed a plan. We were involved and asked a lot of questions which he answered and was very honest - even if it was something I didn’t want to hear. He didn’t sugar coat anything...Ask a lot of questions- he will answer them honestly...

He's [Dr. Akas Jain] very thorough, wants everything to be perfect to get the best results. Will not cut corners or go forward with retrieval/ transfer unless he thinks everything is perfect. Truly cares about achieving the best results possible for his patients.... Used the highest dose for Stims that he could due to my diminished ovarian reserve.... The staff is Friendly, easy to get into, always see your own doctor, not a long wait time during appointments. Billing can be somewhat confusing. Nurse communicates by email which can be difficult at times but also convenient at times.

[Dr. Akas Jain] did not ask me any questions regarding my medical history or if I was on current medications...I felt completely ignored and It was truly a heartbreaking experience...we were doing all of this while he was typing to other people and he had to keep stopping to talk to other patient's and the whole appointment felt chaotic
I think the strength was the with the person I initially spoke with to set the consultation up with, she was able to help me seamlessly other than that I have nothing positive to say about [Reproductive Gynecology & Infertility]...Make sure to advocate for yourself and be HEARD when you are speaking
How was your experience with Akas Jain at Reproductive Gynecology & Infertility (Pinnacle Network clinic)?
The second I joined the call I knew something was off. He immediately started the call by saying he needed to help another patient and to give him a second. After that he asked me what process I was going to use which I thought I was going to do IUI, I had a a few questions and while I was trying to ask them he was typing on his computer and did not even hear me ask these questions. I felt completely ignored and It was truly a heartbreaking experience. He started reading me some stats on the likelihood of IUI working and why IVF would be better but gave me no context or conversation about these things. He was talking in absolutes and there was no time to really dive into what the differences are, what the processes are of each, or get any context information. Again we were doing all of this while he was typing to other people and he had to keep stopping to talk to other patient's and the whole appointment felt chaotic. Mind you this was my FIRST appointment with him. towards the end of the call we started talking about sperm donors, which I also did not know the process at this point and he essentially was ready to end the call and told me the next step was to pick my sperm donor and good luck. He said "if you are going to do the genetic testing make sure you don't pick one with the same abnormalities as you!" and at that point I started crying - which he did not even notice- and the call essentially ended. I later got a text that I would need to come in for blood work on day 3-5 on my period. Why was this not address on my call? Why was this not explained to me? Dr. Jain did not care about me, my family, or my future and I would never suggest anyone go see him for care.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Akas Jain at Reproductive Gynecology & Infertility (Pinnacle Network clinic)?
Make sure to advocate for yourself and be HEARD when you are speaking
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Akas Jain at Reproductive Gynecology & Infertility (Pinnacle Network clinic)?
Within the first few seconds of our call he made it very clear there were much more pressing matters he needed to address with other patient's rather than learn about me. He did not ask me any questions regarding my medical history or if I was on current medications. I went into the appointment looking for a better understanding of what the process of IUI was going to look like and during the entirety of the appointment he was having other conversations to the point where I had to ask my questions multiple times because he was typing to his nurses who needed immediate answers. At the end of the call he ended with "The next step is finding your sperm donor, good luck!" And I did not even have a clear understanding about the process or the next steps were. I had not done blood work, I did not know or understand what the cost of everything, so to jump me to that step felt extremely rushed and I left the virtual appointment in tears- which he did not even notice I was crying because he was so distracted.
Describe the protocols Akas Jain used in your cycles at Reproductive Gynecology & Infertility (Pinnacle Network clinic) and their degree of success.
He gave me absolutely no information on what processes were or what outcomes I should expect.
Describe your experience with Reproductive Gynecology & Infertility (Pinnacle Network clinic).
I think the strength was the with the person I initially spoke with to set the consultation up with, she was able to help me seamlessly other than that I have nothing positive to say about this clinic.

Based on my experience, he clearly doesn't even remember his patient info through the whole 6 times of IUI...he seems nice although he hurts his patient's feelings by tossing some irrelevant and ignorant questions during the procedure, he does his job. But you're more likely to land on dealing with the empty feeling that you're just number for the clinic money...
Most nurses, care coordinators, and even the front desk staff [at Reproductive Gynecology] were great and friendly...Strengths: location is great to access, the clinic building and office are clean and up to date...the head nurse who dealt with the schedule and medicine was very useful and informative...the most painful blood draw in my whole life...

What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Akas Jain at Reproductive Gynecology & Infertility (Pinnacle Network clinic)?
If you don't know how to break the ice, just be quiet. Being awkward is better than being ignorant. However, you're great at being quiet when your nurse poured irrelevant questions during the procedure. Thanks!
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Akas Jain at Reproductive Gynecology & Infertility (Pinnacle Network clinic)?
I was asked whether I was one of HONDA wives just because I was East Asian almost every time I saw him. Based on my experience, he clearly doesn't even remember his patient info through the whole 6 times of IUI. I was not even bothered whether I was asked why my original county has so many special needs kids, but definitely furious when the nurse who was in the room pouring her sister-related questions to the doctor during the sonogram. I was glad I could pay my copay to just listen to her questions ;). The lady who seemed to be a MA in the blood draw lab, became extremely aggressive right after the pandemic started. I was terrified to go there because of her. That was the most painful blood draw in my whole life.
Describe the protocols Akas Jain used in your cycles at Reproductive Gynecology & Infertility (Pinnacle Network clinic) and their degree of success.
There were only 6 times of IUI, not IVF. It was very simple each time and the head nurse who dealt with the schedule and medicine was very useful and informative.
Describe your experience with your nurse at Reproductive Gynecology & Infertility (Pinnacle Network clinic). (Assigned nurse: Don't remember her name but she was great)
Most nurses, care coordinators, and even the front desk staff were great and friendly.
Describe your experience with Reproductive Gynecology & Infertility (Pinnacle Network clinic).
Strengths: location is great to access, the clinic building and office are clean and up to date. Most nurses and staffs are very friendly. Followed the COVID procedure very well and trust worthy. Weaknesses: waiting time is indefinite. Don't recommend it to POC because some of my experience was terrible and hostile in a race-related way.
Describe the costs associated with your care under Akas Jain at Reproductive Gynecology & Infertility (Pinnacle Network clinic).
Cost was not the matter.

Dr. Nash very much cared about our results, he is so knowledgeable...genuinely felt like he cares...only one embryo per transfer was preferred by the clinic at a time...We thought we miscarried around week 7...When he saw the heartbeat and that everything was okay, we both were emotional. I so appreciated that he cared in the way that he did
No complaints [about Reproductive Gynecology & Infertility]!...it can feel a little bit rushed or routine, but they make up for it with the attention and care they give each patient...nurses know what they are doing, and even the person doing the blood draws is so skilled and kind. She always found a vein on the first try
How was your experience with David Nash at Reproductive Gynecology & Infertility (Pinnacle Network clinic)?
I had a wonder experience. Dr. Nash very much cared about our results, he is so knowledgeable, and I felt very comfortable. We thought we miscarried around week 7, and because it was Covid, it was just me and Dr. Nash doing the ultrasound. When he saw the heartbeat and that everything was okay, we both were emotional. I so appreciated that he cared in the way that he did. I felt in such good hands
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of David Nash at Reproductive Gynecology & Infertility (Pinnacle Network clinic)?
No advice needed!
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with David Nash at Reproductive Gynecology & Infertility (Pinnacle Network clinic)?
Such a wonderful doctor, genuinely felt like he cares.
Describe the protocols David Nash used in your cycles at Reproductive Gynecology & Infertility (Pinnacle Network clinic) and their degree of success.
I’m sorry, I don’t remember specifics. Other than from the research I had done beforehand, it seemed like the standard care for an IVF cycle.
Describe your experience with your nurse at Reproductive Gynecology & Infertility (Pinnacle Network clinic). (Assigned nurse: I forgot her name!! But she was great! )
They are busy, so understandably, it can sometimes take a little time to reach someone. But they were all on top of it and very kind.

No complaints! They are busy, and Dr. Nash travels between clinics, so it can feel a little bit rushed or routine, but they make up for it with the attention and care they give each patient. The nurses know what they are doing, and even the person doing the blood draws is so skilled and kind. She always found a vein on the first try, which for me, is a huge deal.
Describe the costs associated with your care under David Nash at Reproductive Gynecology & Infertility (Pinnacle Network clinic).
One round of IVF including the genetic testing cost $14,500. That did not count the testing beforehand which totaled around $1,500.
Describe David Nash's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at Reproductive Gynecology & Infertility (Pinnacle Network clinic).
For my specific case, only one embryo per transfer was preferred by the clinic at a time.

Dr. Nash used language in our consultations that made me feel that he was minimizing our fertility situation and showed little optimism. He is very blunt and clinical. I felt like he was lacking in compassion. He never adjusted my medication (oral meds and injectables) even though we did 4 rounds of IUI...I felt like he was rushing while talking through fertility options just to get me to settle on IVF
The nurse [of Reproductive Gynecology] was nice however she was always really busy, so a few times she rushed through some follow up items for my care and made some mistakes...The laboratory was efficient. Scheduling was pretty easy. The clinic doctor was somewhat pushy when it came to genetic testing and IVF options. At times I felt the doctor and staff guilted me about personal decisions I made about testing and treatment.

I was prescribed Letrozole and also had to take an HCG trigger shot prior to the IUIs. Dr. Nash never adjusted this protocol for any of the four cycles.

Each IUI was $400, plus sperm washing was $100, the trigger shot was about $130. We did four cycles, plus lab fees and consult, so I’m total we spent about $5,000.

Dr. Jain was funny and more relaxed. He was patient with our questions and was honest about his opinion on our chances. He said that the cyst on my right ovary could be an endometrial cyst, which was the first time a doctor mentioned that. He made sure we were absolutely positive about moving forward at each step and outlined the risks. He was very cautious when I developed another cyst. Overall, we really like Dr. Jain!...performed 2 of our IUI's. He changed our meds when Clomid caused a cyst to develop and was very strategic about which days in my cycle to do procedures.
We have spent roughly $5000 since the beginning of our journey. [with Reproductive Gynecology]. Our insurance covers 0% of the cost. Each IUI cost roughly $1100...Scheduling an appointment was easy, but depending on your cycle day, you may end up with a different doctor. The staff are nice and very hardworking. Even if I have to leave a voicemail, someone always gets back to me in a timely manner with a response.

Dr. Jain was always honest with us. He was kind, smart and I never doubted how much he cares for his patients. He knew how bad we wanted a baby..and I felt like he was determined to make that happen for us. After our first IVF cycle, I am pregnant. I couldn’t be more thankful for Dr. Jain. Thanks to him my life feels complete. I would highly recommend him to anyone!!
The [Reproductive Gynecology] staff was wonderful, always got back to me quickly and answered all my questions...Each IUI was about 1,000 for me (meds included) my insurance didn’t cover anything IVF about 20,000 including medication and extra testing on more of our embryos. Blood work is included in your IVF price which is great because you go often.

Success w/ Doc Too early to know
He [Dr. Akas Jain] was personable, direct, and knowledgeable about our situation. He had a plan and was ready to help us execute our plan...He’s been attentive and very clear about next steps at every appointment...I found out at our initial consult that Dr. Jain had talked with my previous doctor back in 2015 because of an unusual situation regarding my ectopic pregnancy and he remembered! Just from looking at our records. I didn’t even know this conversation happened so to know he regularly consulted with other physicians about patients that weren’t even his made me feel great.
The clinic [Reproductive Gynecology] is comfortable and easy to navigate. There is plenty of parking and the check in process is easy. The waiting area is large and has several seating options so you’re not sitting on top of people...They [nurses] were attentive, helpful with directions, and available for questions when I had them...$200 per ultrasound $150 for HCG trigger shot $500 for IUI...He [Dr. Akas Jain] was personable, direct, and knowledgeable about our situation. One adjustment he [Dr. Akas Jain] made was limiting my birth control, as he didn't want to down regulate my ovaries more than absolutely necessary. This wasn't ever considered at my previous clinic. Even though only 6 eggs were retrieved, 5 got to day 5 blasts, and were all given good ratings...was very blunt when communicating. I appreciated his honesty, but i could see where some others might find his approach harsh at such an emotional time. He customized every part of my protocol based on my previous cycle, and was present at almost all of my ultrasounds (maybe all of them). When our Genetic testing results came through, he called me directly after hours, which I appreciated.

[Dr. Jain] didn’t even read my chart before coming into my room. He asked me who performed my D&C three months prior and I had to tell him that he performed the procedure...One visit he said IVF wasn’t appropriate for me and the next visit he asked why I wouldn’t consider IVF...The doctor gave conflicting information on the best course of action for a positive pregnancy.
The [Reproductive Gynecology] nurses had more compassion but seemed to be overwhelmed...Strengths: test results were quick Weaknesses: staff do not know the patient as a person, little bedside manner A new person should know that you’ll get a lot of information at once. Make sure to take notes and ask questions...Make sure you have a support system and don’t be afraid to ask questions.

He [Dr. Jain] is amazingly knowledgeable and passionate in what he does. He treats patients with respect and compassion. His staff respects him and treat his patients just as he does. He takes adequate time at each visit and explains and answers all questions asked. I would highly recommend him to others going through similar struggles.... RGI was highly organized and passionate clinic. They all seem to have a common goal, to bring patients the family
RGI was highly organized and passionate clinic. They all seem to have a common goal, to bring patients the family that they have hoped, prayed and longed for...some for years upon years.
