Some strengths are it's a great location , good prices, very clean . Everyone [Repromed Fertility Center] is so kind and actually cares ! And the staff is amazing! And they keep giving me different results . We finally got them emailed to us .

It's a little slow at first . It takes time to get diagnosed. And then he will set out a perfect plan for you and your partner!

We have been trying to concieve our first child for the past 11 years naturally , with no luck. So we finally decided to see a fertility specialist May 1st of this year, Dr pinto diagnosed me with PCOS, and so I wasn t ovulating on my own . And also my husband has low morphology, at a 0.5 . I was prescribed Letrozole, trigger shot and timed intercourse. Unforntualy it didn't end in pregnancy, so we will continue to try .

They were all very sweet, kind, caring, helpful, and just all around great !

Some strengths are it's a great location , good prices, very clean . Everyone is so kind and actually cares ! And the staff is amazing! Weakness are sometimes i had troubles getting a hold of people to get my results!
Describe the costs associated with your care under Anil Pinto at Repromed Fertility Center.
We don't have any insurances , so we have to pay everything out of pocket . The first visit was $250 . I paid $250 for an HSG, we had two semen analysis done $75 each. Every sonogram was $225 , trigger shot was $85 . Appointments are usually about 200 or more .

He is not warm and fuzzy but he is to the point...Dr. Pinto was responsive to my questions and problems and though he can come across a little insensitive he is actually very kind...When I was upset or had questions, he called me after hours to help me...He doesn't sugar coat anything so be prepared to have some painful facts/odds hit you in the face.
They [nurses at Repromed Fertility Center] are very busy but were very kind. One point I was very upset about something and the RN was super nice and compassionate. She could tell I was nervous to ask Dr. about specifics of something and she offered to to ask him for me. She did and the Dr. even called me later to apologize that he had upset me and to clarify a few things. It was total miscommunication and I appreciated both the RN and the Dr.'s response.

Mini-IVF with 2 egg retrievals, PGS testing and then subsequent transfer if successful retrievals and testing. The idea was quality/quantity. I have low egg reserve, 1 tube and I am nearly 39. 2 pregnancies: One child 3 y/o and another ectopic. Neither was conceived through ivf.

It is a very busy place which can be overwhelming. There are several offices. The phone system can be annoying sometimes but they just switched to a new on and are working out the kinks. I have always gotten a response same day which is very much appreciated.

We are not there yet. I have only been through 1 retrieval so we are on the second round of ivf drugs for the second retrieval. My understanding is that he is conservative and will only do one egg but I am NOT for sure on this.

Dr. Pinto explained everything in ways we could understand. He was honest, but in a way that was caring. He always knew where I was in my treatment and always had kind words to share.

I took letrozole tablets; gonal f injections; and ovidril injection. One cycle I was put on estrogen to thicken my lining. After every IUI I took progesterone. I never conceived a child.

All of Dr. Pinto’s nursing staff are awesome! They are very professional and positive. I could not say one negative thing about them!

All of the clinics I went to during treatment where well-kept, very clean, and organized. Every clinic had the necessary equipment to perform the needed tests. All the clinics were very peaceful places, I appreciated the calmness to help calm my nervousness. I can’t think of any weaknesses.

Describe the protocols Anil Pinto used in your cycles at Repromed Fertility Center and their degree of success.
I started our IUI cycle on day 3 of my menstrual cycle. I began Letrozol and Gondal F injections. I took the Letrozol 5mg for 5 days. I injected the Gondal F every other night for a week. I took all the medication right before bed time. I had minimal side effects such as a mild headache and bloating. Most of the time I felt great. On cycle day 10 I had a sonogram and it showed I response well to the medication. On cycle day 12, I had an Ovidrel injection. I experienced some nausea afterwards. On cycle day 14, we had the IUI.

He [Dr. Pinto] doesn’t give enough time to speak with you. He also wouldn’t communicate with me unless my husband was present which offended me.... He only does single transfers.... He was forcing 2 ivf cycles and I only wanted to do 1 ivf cycle. He also wanted to give me hormones to repress my ovaries thus limiting my eggs. I wasn’t comfortable with the lack of communication from his office or with him.

Waiting room is tiny. There’s not a bathroom for just women. You have to use a general bathroom.... $15k for mini ivf cycle plus $2.5k on meds. I only paid for my procedures. I switched clinics.

HSG procedure in July 2018. I had a miscarriage the next cycle on clomid in August 2018. Then my ob referred me back to him in November. I had another procedure to look at my uterus. No issues. Then his nurse insisted on my starting a back to back 2 egg retrievals. I declined and changed clinics.

Due to my age and low egg quality, we are doing minimal stimulation therapy with 2 rounds of egg retrieval and frozen embryo transfer. The first egg retrieval produced 5 eggs. 4 successfully fertilized and 2 made it to blastocyst. PGS showed that 1 was normal, so that one is frozen for now. I'm currently in the middle of stims for the next egg retrieval.

The rest of the staff (I've only been to the Tyler & Dallas offices) is wonderful, however, my primary nurse has been less than professional and more than slightly condescending on several occasions.

Dr. Pinto is amazing , I wish he would do more in-depth studies and actually be able to do more testing and help more patients figure out their issues... He is very head strong on age factors without seeing what needs to be done . Many women have children in their 40’s and he needs to cater to more women and do more for this age group. His spirit is very uplifting , he talks with you in depth on many things except the “whys”

Dr. Pinto is amazing , I wish he would do more in-depth studies and actually be able to do more testing and help more patients figure out their issues . I think he needs more blood work done up , and more of the “whys” answered . He is very head strong on age factors without seeing what needs to be done . Many women have children in their 40’s and he needs to cater to more women and do more for this age group. His spirit is very uplifting , he talks with you in depth on many things except the “whys”

Most of the nursing staff is amazing . The ultrasound tech. Is phenomenal. Some of the nurses seem scattered and not very organized. You can hear from one right after you call or two weeks later , depends on which staff you contact.

The Dallas office handles more and is completely more thorough , although if you deal with them at all soMe times you can wait days for a response and sometimes it’s immediate. I feel like the clinic definitely needs to do more testing and research on new procedures instead of automatically pushing IVF

I had HSG. We did 3 months of timed intercourse using pills and injections. There were no reasons for infertility so he wanted to start the easiest process. 2 iui that included pills and injections. After 3 failed timed intercourse he exhausted that idea and tried the IUI.

Sarah Jane was absolutely amazing. I can't say enough good things about her! She was so sweet and explained everything. She was just a complete God Send to me at that time. The nurse from the first IUI was in a hurry because it was done on a Saturday and just wanted out of the office. She rushed through everything and got us out quick.

The insurance billing department is rude and not knowledgeable about anything when it comes to billing to insurance. She refused to bill things to my insurance that my insurance company told me they would cover. They over charged me over $800 and I'm still waiting to receive my back payment from 6 months ago. The ladies in the Tyler office are such a blessing. Amber is the best nurse ever. Ava is so amazing when drawing blood and teaching to give injections. Jennifer is so friendly.

When we started we really liked [Dr. Pinto] him. He was very honest and blunt about everything. Once we started our first round of letrozole, we slowly started to feel like it was about the money. We were really made out to believe that we critically needed to do IVF. We are a you g and otherwise healthy couple, other than a slightly low AMH. We were lead to beleive it was CRITCALLY low and highly needed to consider IVF, which was going to cost $34,000. It was frustrating that we were really pushed on that, which is why we got a second opinion.

Dr Pinto was the first Doctor that I felt took the time to truly diagnose me. The IVF Dr that I saw before him didn’t care about a diagnosis and wanted money for IVF. It was a breath of fresh air to meet Dr Pinto after a 5 year infertility journey.

I had a fantastic experience with Dr. Pinto. It was sad that my final attempt ended in miscarriage but I never doubted he knew what he was doing or that we weren't pursuing the right treatment....There were lots of tests to ensure I had no infertility obstacles....I had a few polyps. We scheduled surgery to remove them since Dr. Pinto saw them as potential miscarriage risks and would not perform any treatments until they were removed.
There are several locations [Repromed Fertility Center] which made it very easy to find availability near either my home or work. Having to go downtown for IUIs was a bit of a bother but very minor. They were always clean, quiet, and the equipment functioned reliably at all times....Melissa Davenport is fantastic....Very kind, compassionate and knowledgeable. So was everyone else I had the pleasure to speak with at their locations.

Keep notes. There is a lot of information and tests coming at you and if you want to make informed decisions within the timeline you have, make sure you're keeping track of what's going on.

He was very attentive and answered all questions like they mattered to everyone in the room.
Describe the protocols Anil Pinto used in your cycles at Repromed Fertility Center and their degree of success.
There were lots of tests to ensure I had no infertility obstacles. Tubes weren't blocked, egg count was great, my uterus would hold water just fine, but I had a few polyps. We scheduled surgery to remove them since Dr. Pinto saw them as potential miscarriage risks and would not perform any treatments until they were removed. He did the surgery and after waiting a cycle we started Clomid and proceeded with the IUIs. The first time I took Clomid, he also had me take estrogen to make sure my uterine lining would be fine. Based on how I performed, it was decided the estrogen wasn't needed and I did not take it on the next two IUIs. I did take the progesterone all three times. I became pregnant on my third and last IUI after we have gotten a good feel for my body's timing. I miscarried at 6 weeks.

Melissa Davenport is fantastic. She was part of nearly every visit I had. She was also the one who had the job of informing me that I had miscarried. Very kind, compassionate and knowledgeable. So was everyone else I had the pleasure to speak with at their locations.

My IUIs were $550 and the sonogram before the IUIs was $200. The shot to release the eggs was $104. All other visits were covered by insurance and at the time, my copay was $15. My prenatal vitamins are about $60 and are mailed to me each month.

I have unexplained infertility and I wish he seemed more interested in finding a cause instead of following the standard escalating steps of treatment...but I think that’s just how it is with unexplained?
